THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ROGERS AUTO GROUP HYUNDAI IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE FLOORMAT WAS THE REASON WHY THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 158,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

THE DEALER NEVER INSPECTED THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE SEVERITY OF THE DAMAGE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 7,000.
