MY 2011 SONATA SE HAS PULLING TO THE LEFT SINCE THE DAY I BOUGH IT. I HAVE ABOVE 270 MILES ON THE CAR AND THE DEALER TRIED WHEEL ALIGNMENT/ TIRE PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT BUT THAT DID NOT HELP. I CONSTANTLY HAVE TO COUNTERACT THE STEERING TO THE RIGHT TO KEEP THE CAR IN STRAIGHT LINE DIRECTION. AT SPEEDS OVER 60MPH, IT GETS WORSE. ITS REALLY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE SUCH CAR ON THE ROAD. *TR
SONATA 2011 HORN AND ACCELERATION PROBLEMS. PEOPLE CAN NOT HEAR THE HORN. ALSO WHEN I TEST DROVE THEY SONATA THE TEST CAR HAD PROBLEMS WHERE THERE WAS ACCELERATOR PROBLEMS. WHEN I STEPPED ON THE GAS THE CAR ALMOST QUIT, PAUSED AND THEY TOOK OFF. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT BY NOT ACCELERATING IN TIME. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON MY CAR AT LEAST 7 TIMES, ACCELERATE, PAUSE OR HESITATION THE MOTOR KICKS IN. WHEN I ASKED THE SALESMAN ABOUT IT AT THE DEALER HE TOLD ME THE MOTOR ON THE TEST CAR WAS PROBABLY COLD. THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE CAR IS WARMED UP. THIS IS VERY SCARY WHEN YOU PULL OUT IN TRAFFIC. ALSO THE HORN IS A JOKE. YOU CAN'T HEAR THE HORN AND IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD HAD DISTORTED IMAGES AND A RIPPLED EFFECT AT THE BOTTOM. WHEN SHE LOOKED AT THE RIGHT OF THE WINDSHIELD, IT SEEMED AS IF VEHICLES WERE MOVING INTO HER LANE, CAUSING HER TO MOVE INTO THE LEFT LANE TO AVOID ACCIDENTS. WHEN SHE RODE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT, SHE NOTICED THE SAME PROBLEM. SHE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHERE THE WINDSHIELD WAS REPLACED. HOWEVER, SHE NOTICED THE SAME RIPPLED EFFECT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER BUT THE DEALER TOLD HER TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE SECOND WINDSHIELD'S PROBLEM. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 2,100. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100. UPDATED 02/07/11 *BF UPDATED 04/21/11
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. THE CONTACT STATED WHEN HE MADE A LEFT TURN, HE FELT THE VEHICLE SCRAPED CURB. HE BACKED UP AND PROCEEDED TO DRIVE HOME. THE NEXT DAY, HE NOTICED THE STEERING WHEEL POINTED RIGHTWARD, WHEN THE WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS GOING STRAIGHT. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THE RACK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT STATED AFTER THE REPAIR, HE NOTICED THE STEERING WHEEL DID NOT RETURN TO THE CENTER POISTION. THE CONATCT WENT TO ANOTHER DEALER AND WAS INFORMED A RECALL FOR THE STEERING HAD BEEN ISSUED. THE CONTACT THE STEERING PROBLEM STILL HAS NOT BEEN CORRECTED. UPDATED 01/31/11/ *BF UPDATED 04/21/11
I PURCHASED A HYUNDAI SONATA 2011 ON 6/27/10. THIS CAR PULLS TO THE LEFT WHEN DRIVING ON A DAILY BASIS. I HAVE TO HOLD THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE RIGHT, IN ORDER FOR THE CAR TO DRIVE STRAIGHT & NOT DRIVE OFF THE ROAD. AFTER MANY SERVICE APPOINTMENTS, I HAVE HAD 2 NEW TIRES & 4 ALIGNMENTS, NONE OF WHICH HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM. I HAVE ALREADY DEALT WITH THE HYUNDAI DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE WHO HAS DONE NOTHING FOR ME. *TR
SOMETIMES WHILE DRIVING THE RADIO WILL CUT OFF AND ALL OF THE PRESETTING GET ERASED. WHEN THE HEATER IS ON THERE IS A BURNING SMELL. THE HORN IS VERY WEAK. FRONT END HAS A LOUD RATTLING NOISE. THE SEATBELTS SEEM LOOSE. *TR
OUR NEW CAR ROLLS A LITTLE BIT AFTER APPLYING THE EMERGENCY (PARKING) BRAKE. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO ENGAGE THE HORN BUT IT COULD BARELY BE HEARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS TOLD THAT THE HORN WAS DESIGNED IN THAT MANNER. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 1,242.
COMPLETE LOSS OF POWER STEERING WHILE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE AT HIGHWAY SPEED. THE FOLLOWING DASHBOARD LIGHTS CAME ON: A RED LIGHT ESP AND A AMBER LIGHT ANTI-SLIP. THE FAILURE WILL RESETS IT SELF BY RESTARTING THE ENGINE. SEVERAL REPORTS OF SIMILAR FAILURES OF THE POWER STEERING HAVE BEEN REPORTED ONLINE. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT LEASED A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER TURNING THE MOTOR OFF, THE KEY WAS NOT ABLE TO BE EXTRACTED FROM THE IGNITION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP WHERE THE DEALER STATED THAT HE HAD TO MANEUVER THE KEY A CERTAIN WAY. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND FILED A COMPLAINT. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 740. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 30.
MY COMPLAINT APPEARS TO BE EXACTLY THE SAME AS ODI ID NUMBER : 10335343 I PURCHASE A NEW 2011 SONATA LIMITED WHICH NOW HAS 3300 MILES ON IT. IT IS A GREAT CAR EXCEPT FOR ONE MAJOR ISSUE. ON FLAT ROADS AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS THE CAR DRIFTS ALL OVER THE ROAD! IF YOU DO NOT MAKE A CORRECTION FOR 5 SECONDS THEN YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF IN EITHER THE LANE TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT OF YOU. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS AND EXTREMELY EXHAUSTING TRYING TO KEEP THE CAR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LANE. I NOTICED THIS ISSUE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. THE DAY AFTER WE TOOK POSSESSION OF THE CAR WE DROVE ABOUT 4 HOURS ON THE HIGHWAY. THE VEHICLE FEELS LIKE IT'S BEING PUSHED SIDE TO SIDE BY THE WIND, BUT THE WIND WASN'T BLOWING. WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY WITH NO OTHER CARS AROUND, THE CAR WILL DRIFT TO ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER AS IF WE ARE BEING PASSED BY A SEMI TRUCK WHO IS DISRUPTING THE AIR FLOW AROUND OUR CAR. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER YESTERDAY. THE MECHANIC DROVE THE CAR AND SAID HE DIDN'T NOTICE ANYTHING. HE CONTACTED HYUNDAI TECH SUPPORT (I THINK THAT'S WHAT THEY CALLED IT) AND THEN FOLLOWED THE STEPS THEY TOLD HIM TO CHECK EVERYTHING WITH THE STEERING. EVERYTHING CAME BACK WITHIN SPECS. I HOWEVER WOULD PROPOSE THAT THERE IS AN INHERENT ISSUE WITH THE ELECTRONIC STEERING SYSTEM WHICH ALLOWS TOO MUCH PLAY IN THE WHEEL AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND/OR CAUSES THE DRIVE MOTOR TO OVER-CORRECT OR OVER-EXAGGERATE THE STEERING INPUT FROM THE DRIVER AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AND THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO TURN THE WHEEL. THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE EXCESSIVELY AND THE ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL SERVICE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT SHUT OFF THE ENGINE AND UPON RESTARTING THE VEHICLE,S HE NOTICED THERE WAS SMOKE COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DISCLOSED TO THE CONTACT. THE DEALER PROVIDED THE CONTACT WITH A REPLACEMENT VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD ONLY RELEASE THE VEHICLE IF SHE WOULD SIGN A CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT AND A LIABILITY WAIVER. THE CONTACT DECLINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER WOULD NOT RELEASE THE VEHICLE TO THE CONTACT. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 3,800.
2011 HYUNDAI SONATA SE 1728 MILES SOMETHING IN THE STEERING WHEEL HAS BECOME LOOSE. IT DEVELOPED A VERY NOTICEABLE RATTLE WHICH I STARTED TO NOTICE ABOUT 2 WEEKS AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR. IT HAS BEEN BACK TO THE DEALER TWICE AND THE ISSUE STILL HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. HYUNDAI ENGINEERING IS NOW RECOMMENDING COMPLETE REPLACEMENT OF THE STEERING COLUMN. AT THIS POINT IN TIME, I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED ANY STEERING FAILURE. I NOTICED AN AP NEWS CLIP THAT YOU ARE LOOKING INTO A PROBLEM SIMILAR TO THIS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE WOULD ABNORMALLY DRIFT FROM SIDE TO SIDE. THE CONTACT WOULD TURN THE STEERING WHEEL TO ADJUST THE VEHICLE FROM DRIFTING BUT TO NO AVAIL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY THE WIND OR THE HIGHWAY HE WAS DRIVING ON. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE HAD EXPERIENCED THE FAILURE SINCE PURCHASE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 2,500.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE HE STOPPED ON AN INCLINE, HE SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF WHILE IT WAS SHIFTED INTO DRIVE AND REMOVED THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION. ONCE HE EXITED THE VEHICLE, IT BEGAN TO ROLL FORWARD INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT RE-ENTERED THE VEHICLE AND WAS ABLE TO SHIFT INTO PARK TO STOP THE VEHICLE FROM ROLLING AWAY. AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AND HE WAS INFORMED THE VEHICLE WAS FUNCTIONING AS NORMAL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO RECUR INTERMITTENTLY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,500 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 5,200.
THE 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA WINDSHIELDS HAVE DISTORTED IMAGES WHEN SEATED IN THE FRONT AND VIEWING DIAGONALLY ACROSS THE VEHICLE AND OUT THE WINDSHIELD. ALL IMAGES SHOW A "RIPPLE EFFECT" . THIS HAPPENS IN BOTH DIRECTIONS (LEFT TO RIGHT AND RIGHT TO LEFT) I CHECKED OTHER NEW VEHICLES IN THE SHOWROOM AND THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. WHILE IT IS SUTTLE AND MOST MAY NOT NOTICE IT CAN BE A PROBLEM WHEN CHANGING LANES OR TURNING RIGHT. OBVIOUSLY THE DRIVER SEE A DISTORTED IMAGE WHEN LOOKING ACROSS THE WINDSHIELD TO TURN RIGHT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE MERGING INTO ANOTHER LANE, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKES WERE DEPRESSED AND FAILED TO ENGAGE. THE CONTACT PULLED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE IN ORDER TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE TRUNK WOULD ALSO OPEN INADVERTENTLY. THE DEALER REPAIRED THE FAILURE BY REPLACING THE MASTER CYLINDER AND MODULE FOR THE BRAKING SYSTEM AND ALSO ADVISED THE CONTACT TO OPEN THE TRUNK MANUALLY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND FILED A REPORT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,500 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 14,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
I AGREE WITH ALL COMPLAINTS REGARDING THE FLIMSY WEAK SOUNDING HORN. IT SOUNDS LIKE A GOLF CART. A CAR NEXT TO ME CAN NOT HEAR ME BLOWING AT THEM. IN ADDITION, THE SECURITY SYSTEM IS HOOKED TO THE WEAK SOUNDING HORN; I CAN NOT HEAR IT IN THE HOUSE. I CERTAINLY BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD!!. I CONTACTED HYUNDAI AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE SORRY, THEY COULD NOT BUILD AUTOS TO PLEASE EVERYONE.
WINDSHIELD IS DEFECTIVE IN SEVERAL AREAS OF THE WINDSHIELD. VIEW IS DISTORTED THROUGH THESE SECTIONS OF THE WINDSHIELD, ESPECIALLY THE LOWER 1/3 AREA AND AREAS NEAR THE POSTS. PEOPLE HAVE COMPLAINED OF CAR SICKNESS LOOKING THROUGH THE GLASS. THE PASSENGER SEAT IS LOWER THAN THE DRIVER'S SEAT AND MY WIFE HAS LOOKED THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD AND THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO CRASH OR AT LEAST GO OFF THE ROAD. THE DEALER REPLACED THE ORIGINAL BUT THE REPLACEMENT GLASS IS WORSE. ALL THE SONATA'S ON THEIR LOT ARE AS BAD OR WORSE. IT APPEARS HYUNDAI'S SUPPLIER OF WINDSHIELDS IS MANUFACTURING DISTORTED WINDSHIELDS. IT APPEARS ALL SONATA'S ARE BEING MANUFACTURED WITH THIS DISTORTED GLASS IN THE WINDSHIELDS. THERE IS DISTORTION LOOKING OUT THE REAR GLASS THROUGH THE REAR VIEW MIRROR BUT WE CAN LIVE WITH THAT.
6/28/2010 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA: FRONT DOOR LOCKS ON PAGE 4/19 OF THE 2011 OWNER'S MANUAL SONATA IT STATES: "IF THE INNER DOOR HANDLE OF THE FRONT DOOR IS PULLED WHEN THE DOOR LOCK BUTTON IS IN LOCK POSITION, THE BUTTON IS UNLOCKED AND DOOR OPENS." I ASSUME THIS IS WHILE THE VEHICLE IS PARKED. I AM CONCERNED THAT I AM ABLE TO OPEN THE FRONT DOORS WHEN LOCKED AND IN MOTION. FURTHERMORE, ON PAGE 4/20 IT STATES: "WARNING - DOORS * THE DOORS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FULLY CLOSED AND LOCKED WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL OPENING OF THE DOOR. LOCKED DOORS ALSO DISCOURAGE POTENTIAL INTRUDERS WHEN THE VEHICLE STOPS OR SLOWS." WHAT GOOD IS THE FRONT DOOR LOCKS IF YOU ARE ABLE TO OPEN THE DOORS WHILE MOVING? MY VEHICLE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE FOLLOWING RECALL. THE FRONT INSIDE DOOR LOCK SWITCH CAN REMAIN IN THE UNLATCHED POSITION. THE DOOR MAY NOT BE IN THE LOCKED POSITION AND MAY OPEN WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN INJURY TO THE DRIVER OR PASSENGER. HYUNDAI-KIA WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND DEALERS WILL REPAIR THE VEHICLES BY REPLACING LATCHES AFFECTED BY THIS RECALL CAMPAIGN FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON MARCH 12, 2010. 1) WITHIN THREE MONTHS OF BUYING THIS CAR, STARTING ISSUES BEGAN. GENERALLY ON THE SECOND START OF THE DAY. FIRST START OF THE DAY USUALLY INVOLVES HIGH ENGINE REVVING SOMEWHERE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD OF 2,500 RPM. AFTER A SHORT TRIP, IGNITION WILL NO CLICK OVER ATTEMPT TO RESTART. USUALLY SECOND OR THIRD TRY RESULT IN A START. DESPITE DEALER REPLACEMENT OF STARTER, FUEL PUMP AND BATTERY, THE PROBLEM CONTINUES PERIODICALLY. 2) REAR BRAKES NEEDED REPLACEMENT AT 24K MILES. WEAR WAS UNEVEN: LEFT BRAKE WAS GRINDING INTO ROTOR AND RIGHT BRAKE WAS ONLY ABOUT 50 PERCENT WORN. HAD DEALERSHIP CHECK FOR POSSIBLE FAULTY CALIPERS, BUT THEY CLAIMED THEY FOUND NO ISSUES AND WOULD NOT COVER UNDER WARRANTY. IN CONTRAST, THE CAR STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL FRONT BRAKES. *TR
TRAVELING AT AROUND 5MPH AFTER LEAVING A STOP SIGN, I PRESSED GAS PEDAL, TO MY SURPRISE NOTICED CAR WAS NOT REALLY GAINING ANY SPEED BUT INSTEAD, STEERING WHEEL STARTED MOVING, VIOLENTLY, WITH SUCH POWER, I COULD NOT EVEN PULL CAR TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I PUT THE CAR IN PARKING AND THE VIOLENT STEERING WHEEL MOVEMENT CONTINUED. I THEN PROCEEDED TO TURN THE CAR OFF, TERRIFIED SOMETHING ELSE WAS GOING TO HAPPEN BUT NOTHING CHANGED: VIOLENT MOVEMENT OF STEERING WHEEL CONTINUE FROM SIDE TO SIDE FOR A TOTAL OF 25 MINUTES. THIS IS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA SE THAT I LEASED JUST A MONTH AGO. I WAS CONTACTED TODAY BY HYUNDAI AND WAS TOLD MY CAR WAS FIXED AND READY TO BE PICKED UP. AS I ASKED WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT THEY ANSWERED "A DEFECTIVE MECHANISM WAS FOUND AND THEY HAVE REPLACED THE STEERING WHEEL COLUMN". I SERIOUSLY WISH I DON'T HAVE TO GET THAT CAR BACK; AM STILL TERRIFIED BY THE HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE. EVEN THOUGH HYUNDAI BELIEVE THIS A ISOLATED ISSUE, I WANTED TO PUT IT OUT THERE IN CASE IT HAPPENS AGAIN. *TR
WE RENTED A NEW 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA IN JUNE THROUGH BUDGET IN MILWAUKEE WISCONSIN. WE DROVE IT APPROXIMATELY 150 MILES, PULLED INTO OUR HOTEL TO REGISTER, AND WHEN WE WENT TO MOVE INTO THE PARKING LOT SOMETHING POPPED AND THE STEERING COLUMN COMPLETELY DISENGAGED FROM THE CONTROL ARM (I THINK), THE STEERING WHEEL SIMPLY SPUN UNDER OUR HANDS. BUDGET REPLACED THE CAR FOR US BUT THE HYUNDAI CLAIM THAT ALL CARS MADE IT BACK TO THE DEALER BEFORE PROBLEMS GOT SERIOUS IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. *TR

TO AVOID A COLLISION WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC, THE DRIVER IS FORCED TO CONSTANTLY ATTEMPT TO CORRECT FOR THIS DEVIATION, BUT THE UNPREDICTABLE NATURE OF THE DRIFT PATTERN RESULTS IN A DANGEROUSLY UNSTABLE OSCILLATION AS THE CAR WANDERS BACK AND FORTH CONTINUOUSLY. AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, EVEN A MOMENTARY LAPSE IN THE TOTAL CONCENTRATION REQUIRED TO CORRECT FOR THIS CONSTANT STEERING DRIFT COULD EASILY RESULT IN A FATAL CRASH. HYUNDAI TECHNICAL SUPPORT RECOMMEND THAT THE DEALERSHIP TO SUBMIT FOR A HYUNDAI ENGINEER TO LOOK AT THE VEHICLE. THE DEALERSHIP SUBMITTED FOR A HYUNDAI ENGINEER TO SERVICE THE VEHICLE. UPON RECEIVING AN APPROVED SERVICE NUMBER FOR THIS TO OCCUR THE HYUNDAI ENGINEER CONFIRMED AND IDENTIFIED THE DRIFT/PULL OF THE VEHICLE. AFTER I RESTARTED THE CAR, IT COULD RUN SMOOTHLY FOR AT LEAST ONE MONTH. GIVEN THE OCCURRENCE FREQUENCY, THE CHANCE TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM AT DEALERSHIP IS ALMOST ZERO. AND THEY REFUSED TO LEND ME THEIR COMPUTER THAT I COULD HOOK UP TO THE CAR TO RECORD DRIVING DATA. I HAD ALSO CONTACTED HYUNDAI CUSTOMER AFFAIRS. ALL THEY CAN DO WAS JUST SEND ME TO THE DEALER AND CLOSE THE TICKET. RECENTLY, THE CAR STALLED AGAIN DURING A LOW-SPEED DRIVING. THE CAR LOST DRIVING POWER COMPLETELY WITH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. I WAS COMPLETELY SHOCKED AND HURRIEDLY STEPPED THE BRAKE, SWITCHED THE GEAR TO PARK, AND RESTARTED THE CAR. FORTUNATELY, NO CAR WAS AROUND. THIS IS REALLY TERRIFYING AND I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED AND EMBARRASSED. *TR
THE VEHICLE CONTINUOUSLY PULLS TO THE LEFT FROM SPEEDS OF 40 MPH TO 80 MPH. DEALERSHIP CANNOT FIGURE HOW TO FIX ISSUE. YOU NEED TO CONSTANTLY HOLD THE STEERING WHEEL AT 20 DEGREES OFF CENTER IN ORDER FOR THE VEHICLE TO DRIVE STRAIGHT LINE. THIS IS A CONSTANT ISSUE AND HYUNDAI IS NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I HAVE A 2011 SONATA SE WHICH I'VE TAKEN TO THE DEALER 4 TIMES FOR STEERING ISSUES. THE CAR PULLS TO LEFT AND I MUST APPLY PRESSURE AT ALL TIMES TO THE STEERING WHEEL TO KEEP THE CAR FROM VEERING OFF THE ROAD. THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE STEERING SYSTEM AND THE DEALER IS GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND AND TELLING THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET HURT DUE TO THIS ISSUE UNLESS SOMEONE GETS THE PROBLEM RECTIFIED. *TR
