I HAVE CONTINUOUSLY TRIED TO GET SOME ANSWERS REGARDING MY ENGINE RECALL. I FIRST RECEIVED THE LETTER IN 2017. AS I CONTINUED TO TO HAVE ISSUES WITH MY ENGINE BURNING TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF OIL, I WAS GIVEN A CASEWORKER FROM HYUNDAI CORPORATE THAT WILL NO LONGER RETURN MY CALLS. I HAVE WENT THROUGH ALL THREE OIL CONSUMPTION TESTS AND THEY HAVE SEEN THAT EVERY 1,000 MILES MY ENGINE NO LONGER HAS ANY OIL. THE ENGINE LIGHT DOES NOT COME ON FOR SOME REASON. WHEN I PICKED UP MY VEHICLE I WAS TOLD OKAY NOW JUST WAIT UNTIL IT MAKES A NOISE AND THE LIGHT COMES ON. I TOLD THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE THAT MY ENGINE IS ALREADY TICKING AND THE ENGINE LIGHT NEVER COMES ON. I WAS TOLD THERE'S NOTHING THEY COULD DO. I WAS TOLD BY A DIFFERENT REPRESENTATIVE THAT AFTER THE THIRD OIL CONSUMPTION TEST, IF MY ENGINE WAS UNDER THE RECALL GUIDELINES THEN IT WOULD BE REPLACED. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THIS IS OK TO MISTREAT YOU CUSTOMERS THE WAY THAT HYUNDAI DOES. I'M STILL MAKING PAYMENTS ON THIS 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA THAT'S NOT EVEN WORTH IT!!
TOOK MY CAR INTO JIM CLICK HYUNDAI DEALER..FIXED RACK AND PINION COVERED UNDER RECALL AND THEY SAID THEY TEST DROVE, AND FOUND NO ISSUES REGARDING A BAD RIDE ON THE ROAD..I AM BEGINNING TO THINK THEY ARE LYING AND HAVEN'T CHECKED A FULL SUSPENSION CHECK AND MAY NOT HAVE DONE A THROUGH TEST DRIVE..IT SHOULD RIDE NICE INSTEAD OF A BAD RIDE WITH BUMPING AND THUMPING SOUNDS UNDER THE CAR..THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME A DEALERSHIP MECHANIC TECHNICIAN COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WHEN THERE CLEARLY IS!!!
HELLO. MY CAR STARTED TO GET A VERY STRONG GAS SMELL COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT SO I MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO THE DEALER TO HAVE THEM CHECK IT. THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT I COULD BARELY BREATH BECAUSE THE SMALL OF GAS WAS SO STRONG. I OPENED UP THE HOOD AND I SAW GAS SPILLING ALL OVER MY ENGINE. I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS LOOKING AT. IF I HAD BEEN DRIVING MY CAR WOULD HAVE CAUGHT FIRE. THE MAIN GAS LINE FROM THE TANK WAS LEAKING MOST OF THE GAS OVER THE ENGINE. THE REPAIR WAS OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS. I THINK HYUNDAI SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. THESE DEFECTIVE GAS LINES ARE THE REASON WHY SO MANY OF THESE CARS ARE CATCHING FIRE.
YESTERDAY, I NOTICED DRIVING THAT 3 SENSORS CAME ON IN MY CAR . THE SENSORS WERE ABS, ECS, AND LOW TIRE PRESSURE. I CALLED MY DEALERSHIP IMMEDIATELY AND STATED THE PROBLEM THE GENTLEMAN TOLD ME TO COME IN THURSDAY JULY 25TH 2019 AND THAT IT WILL BE FREE OF CHARGE FOR A DIAGNOSTIC . THURSDAY MORNING I AWOKE AND TRAVEL 30 MINUTES AWAY TO THE DEALERSHIP. UPON 15 MINUTES FROM MY DEPARTURE A 4TH LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON MY DASHBOARD (EPS) I BEGIN TO FEEL TENSION IN MY STEERING WHEEL . ONCE I ARRIVED AT THE DEALERSHIP I INFORMED THEM THAT DURING MY ROUTE HERE ANOTHER LIGHT CAME ON WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING . HE INFORMED ME THAT IT WAS A BAD ABS SPEED SENSOR AND THAT THE COST OF THE REPAIR WOULD AMOUNT TO ROUGHLY $600 R. WE ASKED TWO OF THE EMPLOYEES IF IT WAS SAFE FOR US TO EVEN DRIVE THEY BOTH STATED YES I DEPARTED FROM THE DEALERSHIP AND ONCE I MERGED ONTO THE HIGHWAY MY HEART DROPPED AS I SEEN A NEW LIGHT ILLUMINATE ON MY DASHBOARD AND IT JUST SO HAPPENED TO BE MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT MY STEERING WHEEL FELT AS IF IT LOCKED UP ON ME I WENT TO PRESS THE BRAKES AND THE PEDAL WENT TO THE GROUND I WAS ABOUT 20 FT BEHIND ANOTHER VEHICLE IF IT WASN'T FOR THE SHOULDER I WOULD HAVE CRASHED NOT ONLY WERE MYSELF AND MY FIANC'S LIFE AT RISK BUT MY UNBORN CHILD ALSO AND THE INNOCENT CIVILIANS IN THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME THAT I WOULD HAVE REAR ENDED AT 60 MILES PER HOUR THIS HAS ME VERY UPSET AND ANXIOUS BEING I ALMOST GOT IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT 2 WEEK BEFORE MY EXPECTED DUE DATE. TAKATA RECALL IM DRIVING ON SMALL ROAD ABOUT TO MAKE A LEFT TURN IN MY 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA CAR COMPLETELY SHUT OFF DASHBOARD LIGHT BLINKING LIKE THE CARS BATTERY WENT DEAD. MADE A SLIGHT TICKING NOSE WHEN I TRIED TO RESTART CAR WOULD NOT START. HAD TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FOR THE CAR LIGHT TO STOP BLINKING.
SINCE BUYING THIS CAR AS 2ND OWNER I HAVE REPLACED THE REAR BRAKE BULB 5 TIMES IN 1 YR. THE WIRING SEEMS TO BE THE ISSUE. LAST WEEK CAR LITERALLY DOESN'T START WHEN TRYING TO IT SPUTTERS AND THEN I HAVE TO CUT IT OFF TO GO FINALLY GET IT TO START. TODAY IT TURNED OVER BUT SPUTTERING CONTINUES 2 MORE TIMES WHEN TRY TO TO START, THEN 3RD TIME IT CRANKS.
PURCHASED USED 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA HYBRID ON 1/18/2019. ON 5/22/19 HAD OIL CHANGED & REQUESTED DIAGNOSTIC DUE TO ACCELERATOR ISSUES AND HITTING HIGH SPEED BUMP. SAME ISSUE OCCURRED ALONG WITH CAR NOT STARTING ON 5/28 AND BROUGHT CAR TO DEALER ON 5/29/19. DEALER COULD NOT REPEAT ISSUE BUT REPLACED BATTERIES IN BOTH KEY FOBS. DROVE CAR TO CT (FROM NC) ON 7/12/19. CAR WAS FINE EXCEPT THE A/C WAS NOT COOLING WELL. TURNED CAR OFF & LET SIT FOR 10 MINS. IT WAS BETTER. ON 7/18/19 MY 17 YO WAS IN MOTION ON BUSY INTERSTATE 91 SOUTH IN CT. CAR DECELERATED & ALARMS RANG OUT. A WARNING ADVISED "HYBRID BATTERY FAILURE" & "SAFELY PULL OVER". SHE WAS ABLE TO DRIVE TO THE SIDE. HIGHWAY SAFETY PATROL CAME & ADVISED HER TO START CAR AGAIN. LIGHTS CAME ON BUT ENGINE WOULD NOT. HAD CAR TOWED TO LIA HYUNDAI IN ENFIELD, CT. CALLED 7/19, LEFT MESSAGE RTC. I ASKED FOR MANAGER WHO ADVISED THE SAME & SAID HE WOULD HAVE TO RUN A DIAGNOSTIC TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG. I CALLED HYUNDAI MOTOR AMERICA & GOT A TICKET NUMBER. WAS TOLD THAT IF IT WAS THE BATTERY THEY "MAY BE WILLING TO PAY AND MAY BE WILLING TO TOW CAR BACK TO NC ONCE COMPLETED" AGAIN IF APPROVED. NEED TECH TO SUBMIT A WORK ORDER REQ AND SPECIAL TOW REQUEST IF PRIOR AUTHORIZATION WAS APPROVED. ON 7/22 A DIAGNOSTIC WAS RAN & SENT TO HMA SHOWING HYBRID BATTERY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. I CALLED HMA & WAS GIVEN A NATIONAL TEAM TICKET. SERVICE MANAGER RICH CALLED ON 7/29 ADVISING HYUNDAI IS REQUIRING MORE TESTS & WANTS PICTURES. HE CALLED BACK TO ADVISE THAT HYUNDAI IS NOW TELLING HIM TO JUST REPLACE THE SAFETY PLUG & RELAY SWITCH. ADVISED HYUNDAI WOULD PAY 60% AND WE WOULD NEED TO PAY 40%. COST WAS $1000 BUT PART NEEDED TO BE ORDERED. CAN'T GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL WORK. I SPOKE TO NICOLETTE ON 7/29. WAS TOLD THEY WOULD ONLY PAY THE 60% AS A GOOD WILL GESTURE. CAR PURCHASED IN JANUARY 2019 AT 96610 MILES & ONLY DROVE TILL 104513.
MY SEAT BELT IS FRAYING THIS STARTED HAPPENING IN JULY. WE HAVE OWNED THIS CAR SINCE 2014. THE FIRST IMAGE IS MY CARS SEAT BELT THE SECOND IMAGE IS THE ONE I BOUGHT USED FROM A AUTO REPAIR SHOP AND IT APPEARS TO HAVE THE SAME ISSUE.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY TODAY, MY ENGINE DIED. I WAS ABLE TO COAST OFF THE HIGHWAY AND ONTO A FRONTAGE ROAD. I TRIED TO RESTART MY VEHICLE WITHOUT SUCCESS. I OPENED THE HOOD TO LET OTHER DRIVERS KNOW I WAS STRANDED. WITHIN A COUPLE OF MINUTES I NOTICED A BURNING SMELL THEN FLAMES COMING FROM MY ENGINE. I CLOSED THE HOOD HOPING IT WOULD PUT OUT THE FIRE. UNFORTUNATELY IT DID NOT. I HAVE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS OF THE SMOKE, THEN FIRE AND EVENTUALLY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT PUTTING OUT THE FIRE. I PERFORMED A GOOGLE SEARCH AND FOUND AN APRIL 2019 CAR AND DRIVER ARTICLE STATING THE NHTSA IS INVESTIGATING THE EXACT SAME THING. FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
THE CAR WAS PARKED OVERNIGHT. THE NEXT DAY I WENT TO START MY CAR AND SMELLED OVERWHELMING GAS FUMES. MY FUEL IS BEING DEPLETED QUICKER THAN NORMAL AND THE SMELL HAS ONLY INTENSIFIED OVER TIME. MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT NEVER CAME ON. WHEN I LIFTED THE HOOD, I SAW WHAT LOOKED LIKE FUEL BEING SPEWED OUT FROM THE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP. I TOOK MY CAR TO HYUNDAI AND WAS GIVEN A $800 QUOTE TO FIX THE PART AND WAS NEVER ALERTED TO THE FACT THAT THERE WAS AN OPEN RECALL RELATED TO THIS MATTER.
MY SOCKETS CONSTANTLY MELT , THE CONNECTOR FOR MY STARTER MELTED AND MY CAR WOULD NOT START HYUNDAI WANTED ME TO PAY THOUSANDS TO REPLACE MY WIRE HARNESS WHEN THEY ARE AWARE 2011-2014 HAVE ELECTRICAL ISSUES, ALSO MY LIGHTS DO NOT TURN OFF I HAVE TO UNHOOK MY BATTERY EVERY TIME I GET OUT OF MY CAR. MY BRAKE LIGHTS DO NOT TURN OFF WHILE DRIVING SO NOBODY KNOWS IF IM STOPPING OR NOTAND EVERY HYUNDAI I SEE SEEMS TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I KNOW IT IS A DEFECT THAT THEY DO NOT WANT TO CLAIM. I HAVE HAD MY ENGINE REPLACED, ALSO MY BRAKES GO BAD EXTREMELY FAST DUE TO AN ISSUE WITH MY AXLES THAT WERE MYSTERIOUSLY REPLACE A MONTH BEFORE I BOUGHT THE CAR BUT THEY WONT COVER ME BECAUSE IM A SECOND OWNER.
IN THE EVENING OF 07/11/2019 I WAS DRIVING MY 2013 HYUNDAI SANTA ON THE BISHOP FORD EXPRESSWAY, WHEN SMOKE BEGAN TO COME OUT OF THE HOOD. I PULLED OVER TO THE SHOULDER, AND AT THAT TIME , MY CAR WAS COMPLETELY FILLED WITH BLACK SMOKE, AND THE BRAKES COMPLETELY FAILED, FOOT WENT RIGHT TO THE FLOOR. THE CAR COASTED UNTIL IT FINALLY STOPPED. BY THIS TIME, THE CAR WAS IN FIRE. I WAS ABLE TO EXIT BEFORE IT COMPLETELY ENGULFED IN FLAMES. THERE WAS NO WARNING TO ME THAT THIS CAR WAS GOING TO START ON FIRE. I HAD THE ENGINE REPLACED 2 YEARS AGO BECAUSE OF ENGINE FAILURE. TWO ENGINES IN 6 YEARS IS DEFINITELY NOT NORMAL. I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED IN THAT CAR.. HYUNDAI NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.
WHILE DRIVING THE CAR WILL DRIFT TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT. WHEN CORRECTING THE STEERING, A JERK IS FELT IN THE WHEEL. RECENTLY, MY PASSENGER COMMENTED ON FEELING IT JERKING. YOU FEEL A CONSTANT PULL WHILE DRIVING DUE TO THE CAR GOING OFF TO THE SIDE. I HAVE PURCHASED NEW TIRES, HAD THE CAR ALIGNED AND COMPLETELY INSPECTED FOR BEARINGS, TIE ROD AND SUSPENSION ISSUES. NOTHING WAS FOUND. AT TIMES, IT BECOMES HARD TO CONTROL. IT HAS BEEN GOING ON A WHILE AND IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY WORSE.
TAILLIGHT ASSEMBLY MELTED AND HAD TO REPLACE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY. I'M SEEING A LOT OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS FROM OTHER SONATA OWNERS.
WE NOTICED A KNOCKING SOUND COMING FROM THE ENGINE A SHORT TIME AGO. I CALLED PATERSON HYUNDAI IN ALTOONA PA TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THEM TO CHECK IT OUT. WE WERE SCHEDULED FOR OVER A WEEK LATER. I TOOK THE CAR TO JIFFY LUBE FOR AN OIL CHANGE YESTERDAY AND AFTER LEAVING THERE THE NOISE GOT LOUDER AND THE CAR STARTED MAKING SCREECHING NOISE. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. I DECIDED TO DRIVE IT TO PATERSON HYUNDAI WHICH WAS ONLY A FEW MILES AWAY. I MADE IT WITHIN A MILE OF THE GARAGE AND THE CAR SHUT DOWN. ALL OF THE DASH LIGHTS CAME ON AND I HAD TO DRIFT TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER OF A HEAVILY TRAVELED HIGHWAY. I WAITED A FEW MINUTES TO TRY TO START THE CAR. IT WOULD NOT TURN OVER. I CALLED AAA AND HAD THE CAR TOWED TO PATERSON HYUNDAI. I TALKED TO THE SERVICE GUY THIS MORNING AND HE SAID THE WOULD TRY TO GET IT INTO THE SHOP TODAY. HE ALSO SAID HE WOULD CHECK FOR RECALLS ON THE CAR. WE HAVEN'T HEARD FROM THEM AT ALL TODAY. I CHECKED THE RECALLS AND FOUND ONE ISSUED FOR MOTOR PROBLEMS ON MY VIN NUMBER. WE NEVER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF THE RECALL. WE ARE THE SECOND OWNERS OF THE VEHICLE.
THE LIGHTS THEY GO OUT I REPLACE THEM THEY GO OUT AGAIN. THE LIGHTS BURN IN THE SOCKETS. I HAVE REPLACED 1 ALREADY MY BRAKE LIGHTS WILL NOT WORK AND THE LIGHTS THAT I BROUGHT WERE FROM HYUNDAI WHICH MEANS IT'S A PROBLEM WITH THE CAR.
I WAS DRIVING MY CAR AND STOP AT THE RED LIGHT THEN THE CAR DIED. SMOKE WAS COMING FROM THE ENGINE. THE MOTOR WILL NOT TURN OVER. THE CAR WILL NOT CRANK. THESE PAST FEW MONTHS THE ENGINE DISAPPEARED BEFORE NEXT SCHEDULED OIL APPOINTMENTS. THERE IS A CLUCKING NOISE IN THE ENGINE AT TIMES. THIS HAPPEN ON JULY 4TH 2019.
STEERING COUPLER FAILING. STEERING MAKES A CLUNKING NOISE WHEN TURNED.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND THE VEHICLE AT A COMPETE STOP WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS RELEASED, THE VEHICLE UNINTENDED ACCELERATED CAUSING THE DRIVER TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A POLE CAUSING SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINED PRIOR TO THE FAILURE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY ON IMPACT. THE CONTACTS SPOUSE SUSTAINED SEVERE BRUISING FROM THE SEATBELT THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. IT WAS UNKNOWN IF MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS SOUGHT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO FORT MILL HYUNDAI (805 GOLD HILL ROAD, FORT HILL, SC 29708, 855-615-6368). THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND CASE NUMBER 15899953 WAS FILED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD A COPY OF THE VEHICLE LOGS AND INFORMED THAT CONTACT THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS NOT APPLIED. I PUT A COMPLAINT IN ON THE 19TH OF JUNE 2019 MY 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA HAD STOPPED ON ME IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK. MY HUSBAND AND I HAD THE CAR TOWED HOME AND THEN I CALLED HYUNDAI OF ROCKWALL TEXAS THEY TOWED MY CAR FROM MY HOUSE ON THE 22ND OF JUNE AFTER DAYS LATER THEY CALL ME BACK THAT MONDAY 24TH OF JUNE AND TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO ANALYZE MY CAR AND THEY WILL CALL ME BACK THEY CALLED ME BACK THE NEXT DAY WHICH WAS A TUESDAY AND TOLD ME THAT MY ENGINE HAS SEIZED SO THEY GAVE ME A LOANER CAR, CALLED ME BACK ON FRIDAY LEFT ME A MESSAGE. ON MY WAY TO WORK ON SATURDAY THE 22ND OF JUNE I RECEIVED ANOTHER CALL FROM THE SERVICE GUY BY THE NAME OF SAM HE TOLD ME THAT HE HAD CALLED ON FRIDAY AND I DIDN'T LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE, HE TOLD ME ON THE SATURDAY 22ND THAT MY CAR WAS READY TO BE PICKED UP IT WAS RUNNING. I WENT OVER AFTER WORK TO RETURN THE LOANER CAR ON SATURDAY JUNE 29TH 2019, RECEIVED MY CAR DROVE THE CAR HOME GOT BACK IN THE CAR ON SUNDAY 30TH OF JUNE WENT TO THE STORE RETURN BACK TO MY CAR AND MY CAR WOULDN'T SAY A WORD IT WOULDN'T START! SO ON MONDAY JULY 1ST I CALL HYUNDAI OF ROCKWALL BACK AGAIN TELL THEM MY SITUATION ABOUT MY CAR NOT STARTING AT ALL. AND THE GUY IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT SAM STATED TO ME THAT HE WAS SEEING IF YOU CAN GET A TOW TRUCK TO PICK IT UP FOR THE SECOND TIME IN A DAY OF HAVING THE CAR OUT OF THE SHOP. BUT AS OF RIGHT NOW MONDAY JULY 1ST MY CAR IS STILL SITTING IN THE FRONT OF MY HOUSE WON'T START! HYUNDAI OF ROCKWALL TEXAS HAVE NOT PICKED UP MY CAR.
WHEN I PUSH THE START BUTTON THE ENGINE JUST CLICKS AND THE LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD FLICKER ON AND OFF LIKE IT WANTS TO START BUT WON'T. THE CAR IS PARKED
THIS CAR'S LEFT-REAR BRAKE LIGHT ALWAYS HAS SOME PROBLEM, IT BURNS OUT VERY OFTEN. RECENTLY, I FOUND THAT THE PLASTIC BULB HOLDER WAS BURNED AND MELTED TOO. I HAVE READ FROM THE INTERNET, THE HYUNDAI 2013 SONATAS HAVE THE SAME COMMON PROBLEMS, NOT JUST MY CAR HAS IT. THE BRAKE LIGHT MAY BURN OUT VERY OFTEN, I AM AFRAID THAT I MAY GET POLICE TICKET BECAUSE OF THE BRAKE LIGHT PROBLEM, AND IF SOME OTHER VEHICLE HIT MY CAR IN THE BACK, THE CONSEQUENCE WILL BE HARD. THE CONTACT'S WIFE SUSTAINED FRACTURED RIGHT RIBS, CONCUSSION, CRACKED STERNUM, FRACTURED RIGHT THUMB AND MEMORY LOSS, AND A POPPED BURSA SAC. BOTH INJURED REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND A COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000.

MY MECHANIC SAYS THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALLED AND THAT IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY OR I COULD LITERALLY KILL MYSELF IF THE STEERING FAILS AT HIGH SPEED.

I WAS NOT INFORMED FROM NEITHER CREDIT ACCEPTANCE NOR CJ AUTO LOANS THAT THE CAR HAD A ENGINE RECALL. IN JUNE OF 2019 THE CAR WOULD NOT START OR TURN OVER AFTER BEING PARKED AT A FRIENDS HOUSE. BOTH HEADLIGHTS AND BREAK LIGHTS CONTINUE GOING OUT. FIRST TIME I REPLACED THE BREAK LIGHTS, THEY HAD MELTED TO THE UNIT. I HAVE HAD BOTH HEADLIGHTS GO OUT AT THE SAME TIME ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS. I HAVE REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR TWICE NOW AND IT IS LOOKING LIKE I WILL HAVE TO REPLACE IT AGAIN SOON, HEADLIGHTS ARE GETTING DULL (IT'S HARD TO SEE, AND MY BRIGHTS WON'T CLICK ON (IT IS NOT THE BLINKER COLUMN)), THE BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED WHEN THE ALTERNATOR WAS REPLACED AS WELL. THIS IS GETTING EXPENSIVE. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME IT WAS THE BLINKER COLUMN WHEN IT WAS ACTUALLY THE ALTERNATOR. REPLACING THE LIGHTS HAVE BEEN HAPPENING FOR YEARS, THE ALTERNATOR PROBLEM STARTED LAST YEAR, SO WITHIN 2 MONTHS OF REPLACING IT THE FIRST TIME, IT WENT OUT AGAIN, AND NOW 5 MONTHS LATER, IT IS NEEDING TO THE BE REPLACED AGAIN. A WEEK LATER DONE THE EXACT SAME THING AND THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG AFTER KEEPING IT FOR A MONTH. TOOK THE CAR TO ANOTHER AUTO MECHANIC AND WAS TOLD THEY COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH CAR UNLESS IT WAS ACTING UP.
