I HAVE BEEN NOTICING A EXHAUST SMELL EVERY TIME I START MY CAR, IT GETS WORSE AFTER I DRIVE, THEN GET OUT OF THE CAR... I CAN'T STAND ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF MY CAR BECAUSE THE SMELL IS SO BAD. ITS A 2013 I GET REGULAR OIL CHANGES AND CHECK UPS... ALSO, I HAVE NOTICED WHEN I PUT MY CAR INTO GEAR THERE IS A CLUNKING SOUND.
WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY GOING 65MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO MAKE A TICKING SOUND WITH NO WARNING OR INDICATOR LIGHTS BEING ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE THEN BEGAN TO LOSE POWER AND WOULD NOT ACCELERATE PAST 2000RPM. I THEN PULLED OFF OF THE FREEWAY AND WENT INTO A PARKING LOT AS SOON AS MY VEHICLE STOPPED ALL OF THE INDICATOR AND WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND THE CAR SHUT OFF. WHEN RESTARTING THE CAR THE TICKING IS NOW ALOT WORSE AND THE CAR SHUTS OFF RIGHT AWAY. I THEN HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO MY HOUSE AND I AM HAVING IT TOWED TO THE HYUNDAI DEALER FOR INSPECTION.
BOTH OF MY BRAKE LIGHTS BURNED OUT AND MELTED THE PLASTIC HOUSING AND WIRES.
ENGINE RECALL HYUNDAI DETERMINE THAT I WAS LOSING 0NE QUART PER THOUSAND MILES WHICH IS THE RESULT OF METAL DEBRIS FROM CRANKSHAFT SCRATCHING THE CYLINDER WALLS OF ENGINE CAUSING THE OIL TO LEAK OUT OF THE EXHAUST PIPE TO ROAD. THE COMPANY WILL NOT FIX THIS ISSUE. I AM AFRAID ONE DAY THE ENGINE WILL CATCH ON FIRE OR COMPLETE ENGINE FAILURE GOING DOWN THE ROAD LOSING ALL POWER TO CONTROL THE CAR IN WHICH AN ACCIDENT WILL OCCUR .
TAIL AND BRAKE LIGHTS FAILING INTERMITTENTLY. REPLACING BULBS DOES NOT FIX. APPARENT WIRING ISSUE. HAPPENS AS THE VEHICLE IS MOVING.
WHILE DRIVING MAKING A TURN, WHEN I GIVE THE GAS THE RPM ACCELERATE BUT THE CAR DOES NOT SPEED UP.

THE VEHICLE DROVE INTO A DITCH AND FLIPPED OVER FOUR TIMES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NONE OF THE FRONTAL OR SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE POLICE ARRIVED AND FILED A REPORT. THE CONTACT SUFFERED A STRAINED UPPER AND LOWER BACK AND AN ANKLE CONTUSION, WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED DESTROYED PER THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND WAS TOWED TO A LOT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,000.

THE INSURANCE COMPANY WAS NOTIFIED, BUT THEY HAD NOT YET CONDUCTED AN INVESTIGATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A TOW YARD AND DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE WAS NOT DETERMINED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FIRE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. *TT

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THE BRAKE LIGHTS STOP WORKING. ON THIS OCCASION I WAS ON MY WAY TO A DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT ON HIGHWAY 270 COMING FROM HAGERSTOWN MD WHEN MY PASSENGER TOLD ME SOMEONE IS TRYING TO GET MY ATTENTION THE DRIVER TOLD ME MY BRAKE LIGHTS ARE OUT IT WAS AT THAT TIME I REALIZED WHY THE OTHER DRIVERS WAS STOPPING SO CLOSE TO MY CAR. I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS BAD DRIVERS NOT KNOWING THEY COULDN'T TELL I WAS STOPPING. AS SOON AS I COULD I GOT OUT TO CHECK AND NEITHER BRAKE LIGHT WAS WORKING. I CHECK THE BULBS ALTHOUGH I JUST CHANGED THEM ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO AND THE BULBS WAS FINE. SO I SWITCHED THE LIGHTS FROM AUTO TO WHERE THEY ARE JUST ON AND THE LIGHTS WORK.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO TRANSITOWNE HYUNDAI (7420 TRANSIT RD, BUFFALO, NY 14221, (716) 634-3000) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TURBO BOOSTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 71,000.
I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE IN THE MAIL FOR MY CAR THAT SAID THE SMALL ENGINE BLOCK WAS RECALLED BECAUSE METAL SHAVINGS WERE GETTING INTO THE ENGINE AND CAUSING THEM TO STAHL WHILE GOING DOWN HIGHWAY PEOPLE ARE DYING BECAUSE OF THIS. I TOOK MY CAR IN AND THE DEALERSHIP SAID IT WAS FINE BUT IT'S NOW BURNING OIL AND STARTING TO STAHL OUT THEY THEN DID AN OIL CONSUMPTION TEST AND SAID IT WAS NORMAL TO BE BURNING OIL. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED TO ME OR MY FAMILY YET BUT I DON'T WANT TO GIVE IT THE CHANCE. WHAT CAN I DO?
LOOSES OIL, ABOUT 4QUARTS EVERY 3000 MILES, DOES NOT BURN OR LEAK! JUST DISAPPEARED CAR HAS 116730 MILES
SONATA & SANTA FE SPORT ENGINE RECALL / SANTA FE & SONATA ENGINE CONTROL MODULE SERVICE CAMPAIGN. MY CAR WAS PREVIOUSLY RECALLED AND SERVICED FOR BOTH THESE ISSUES IN 2015 & 2017. BOTH ISSUES RELATE TO THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE RECENTLY EXPERIENCED THESE ISSUES AGAIN FOR THE PAST MONTH. 1)A KNOCKING NOISE FROM THE ENGINE THAT INCREASES IN FREQUENCY AS THE ENGINE RPM INCREASES. 2)REDUCED POWER AND/OR HESITATION. 3)ILLUMINATION OF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. WHEN CONTACTING HYUNDAI TO NOTIFY THEM OF THIS PROBLEM THEY STATED THAT THIS HAD ALREADY BEEN TAKEN CARE OF AND THEY ARE UNSURE THEY CAN CONSIDER THIS A RECALL OR SERVICE ISSUE AGAIN. I WOULD STILL HAVE TO PAY THE DIAGNOSTIC FEES AND SERVICE FEES IF NEEDED EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE ALREADY SEEN THIS ISSUE HAS OCCURED ON THEIR PART PREVIOUSLY.
VEHICLES STEERING COLUMN IS RATTLING AND SHAKING VERY BAD STEERING IS VERY LOOSE... ALSO BRAKE LIGHT BULBS KEEP BURNING OUT FOR NO REASON EVERY COUPLE OF WEEKS AND HAVING TO BE REPLACED
WHILE PURCHASING NEW TIRES, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE LEFT FRONT SPRING ON MY DAUGHTER'S 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA (ONLY 43,000 MILES) WAS BROKEN. DRIVING UNDER THIS CONDITION COULD HAVE CAUSED LOSS OF CONTROL AND A SERIOUS ACCIDENT IF THE SPRING HAD MOVED AND PUNCTURED THE TIRE. MY DAUGHTER SAID SHE OCCASIONALLY WOULD HEAR A RATTLE AT THE FRONT WHEEL-WELL WHILE DRIVING PRIOR TO THE BREAK BEING IDENTIFIED. I DROVE THE CAR AND FOUND THE RATTLING NOISE TO BE CONTINUOUS ON SMALL ROAD DEFECTS/BUMPS ON THE WAY TO THE REPAIR SHOP. SUSPENSION SPRINGS SHOULD NORMALLY LAST THE LIFE OF THE CAR. THE CAR WAS AT THE SHOP FOR FOUR DAYS AWAITING A HYUNDAI DEALER TO GET THE PART BACK IN STOCK, FORCING MY DAUGHTER TO GET A RENTAL CAR. THE REPLACEMENT HYUNDAI PART NUMBER IS 54630 3Q114. A LIMITED RECALL WAS ISSUED SEVERAL YEARS AGO FOR 2011 SONATA'S WITH THE IDENTICAL PROBLEM. A GOOGLE SEARCH SHOWS THAT NUMEROUS OTHER SONATA OWNERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS EXACT PROBLEM SINCE THAT RECALL BUT SO FAR IT HAS NOT BEEN EXPANDED. THE PROBLEM IS APPARENTLY MORE PREVALENT IN NORTHERN CLIMATES WHERE SALT IS USED FOR SNOW/ICE REMOVAL CAUSING CORROSION IN THE SPRINGS. HYUNDAI NEEDS TO COME UP WITH A PERMANENT FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM AND ISSUE AN EXPANDED RECALL FOR ALL SONATA'S.
CAR TRUNK POPS OPEN WHEN CAR IS OFF. CAR CONSTANTLY LOCKS WHEN OFF AMD WHEN ON. SONETIMES TAKES 5 MINUTES TO GET IT YO UNLOCK SO I CAN GET OUT. SOME TIMES THE DOOR STARTS TO UNLOCK AND THEN DOESN'T FULLY .LIGHTS INSIDE ON CEILING WON'T GO OFF UNTIL CAR IS RESTARTED AND THE OFF SIDE IS CLICKED. RADIO GOES ON AND OFF. CAR BEEPS SOMETIMES FOR NO REASON WHEN ITS ON AND WHEN ITS OFF AND SOME DAYS WON'T STOP FOR A FEW MINUTES . NOT LIKE ALARM BEEPING. JUST RANDOM BEEPS . ITS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE I GOT THE CAR BUT WASN'T TOKD IF THERE WAS ANY ISSUE BEFORE I BOUGHT IT USED.
MY HYUNDAI SONATA 2013 STEERING COLUMN MAKES A CLUNK AND KNOCKING SOUND WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL. AND RECENTLY IT IS GETTING WORSE ESPECIALLY WHEN GOING OVER BUMPS AND RAISES A CAUSE OF AWARENESS AS IT IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, WITH AN INSPECTION AND WAS TOLD STEERING COUPLER NEEDS REPLACEMENT. AT AT 130, 000 MILES I AM OUT OF WARRANTY.
I WAS DRIVING HOME 2 DAYS AGO ON FREEWAY AND FEELING LOSE GAS POWER; AT THAT TIME, I KNEW THAT ENGINE GOT PROBLEM AND I PULLED IT OVER TO SHOULDER AND ALL DASHBOARD LIGHTS SUDDENLY CAME UP (ATTACHMENT), THEN MY CAR WAS STALL AND CANNOT START UP. I THOUGHT IT WAS RUN OUT OF ENGINE OIL BUT NOT, JUST CHANGED OIL LAST 2 WEEKS! AFTER THE PROBLEM HAPPENED, ALL ELECTRICAL DEVICES INSIDE MY CAR AUTOMATICALLY RESET TO DEFAULT (WHY ????). NOW I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR A NEW ENGINE, I WANT HYUNDAI PAY FOR IT!
THE CAR CONFRONTS PROBLEMS WITH THE AIR BARGS SYSTEM. THIS HAPPENED TO US IN THE AFTERNOON AFTER A CHANGE OF LIGHT THE CAR WAS RUNNING AT 8 TO 10 MPH AND SUDDENLY WITHOUT ANY WARNING THE CAR EXPLODED THE FRONT AIR BAGS AND BOTH OF THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER DOORS.
MY BRAKE LIGHTS ALWAYS GOING OUT , NOW WHEN I TURN ON MY HEAD LIGHTS MY CAR STOP
AS I AM DRIVING MY CAR TENDS TO SWITCH TO MANUAL DRIVE FROM AUTOMATIC ON ITS OWN. THE FIRST TIME I WAS TURNING INTO A DRIVEWAY AND IT SWITCHED TO 2 ON MY DASH. A FEW OTHER TIMES I WAS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY AND REGULAR RAOD WAY WHEN IT SWITCHED TO MANUAL AND POPPED INTO 3 AND 4.
BOTH TAILLIGHTS FAILED. THE BRAKE LIGHT BULBS MELTED AND FUSED THE BULB TO THE SOCKET HOUSING FOR BOTH TAILIGHTS. THE OTHER BULBS ALSO SHOW SIGNS OF EXTREME HEAT DAMAGE AS THE LIGHT BULBS ARE BURNED BLACK AND THE PLASTIC NEAR THE LIGHT BULB IS ALL BLACK. I WAS INFORMED MY TAILLIGHTS WERE OUT WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT.
I WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH ON A CITY STREET IN A CONSISTENT FORWARD MOTION WHEN SUDDENLY THE PANORAMIC SUNROOF OVER THE FRONT DRIVERS AREA EXPLODED UPWARDS. I WILL MENTION, THAT I WAS NOT BEHIND OR BESIDE ANOTHER VEHICLE NOR WAS I TRAVELING UNDERNEATH ANYTHING.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE SINGLE LANE TOLL LANE OF MOPAC EXPRESSWAY IN AUSTIN TEXAS DURING RUSH HOUR I RAN OUT OF FUEL EVEN THOUGH THE FUEL INDICATOR SHOWED APPROXIMATELY 1/4 TANK OF GAS. I CALLED 911. THE FIREMEN CAN VOUCH FOR THE FUEL GAUGE READING. I WAS LUCKY THAT NO ONE WAS HURT FROM THE INCIDENT. I CONTACTED HYUNDAI AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO RECALL ON THE FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT. I BELIEVE THIS IS A SERIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY ISSUE.
THE REAR SEAT MIDDLE SEATBELT DOES NOT LOCK. IT SLIPS IN AND OUT, THEREFORE ELIMINATING THE POSSIBILITY OF A SAFETY RESTRAINT FOR THE MIDDLE REAR PASSENGER. THIS OCCURED WHEN SITTING STILL, AND ATTEMPTING TO SECURE A CHILD INTO THE SEAT.
THE LEFT, FRONT SPRING ON MY 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA TURBO BROKE DURING NORMAL DRIVING AND PUNCTURED THE TIRE. A SIMILAR EVENT ON THE HYUNDAI SANTA FE HAS TRIGGERED A RECALL, SO IT SEEMS LIKELY THAT THE TWO VEHICLES MAY HAVE THE SAME DEFECT. I SUSPECT THAT THE TWO MODELS HAVE SIMILAR SUSPENSION DESIGN, SINCE THE SONATA TURBO MODEL HAS STIFFER SUSPENSION. I BELIEVE THAT HYUNDAI MAY HAVE SIMPLY USED THE SANTA FE'S SPRING, RATHER THAN CREATING A NEW DESIGN. THIS MULTIPLE USAGE OF PARTS IS COMMON IN THE AUTO INDUSTRY, AND MAKES SENSE AS A COST-SAVING MEASURE. THEREFORE, I THINK THE HYUNDAI SONATA MAY NEED A RECALL FOR THEIR FRONT SPRINGS ON THE SONATA TURBO MODEL. THE TURBO IS NOT A VERY COMMON MODEL, SO THERE MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN A LARGE NUMBER OF THESE FAILURES.
MY 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA HAS A SPEEDOMETER THAT READS TOO FAST. I HAVE TESTED MY SPEED VIA GPS AND THE SPEEDOMETER ALWAYS READS 4.5% HIGHER THAN THE SPEED I'M DRIVING.
RECENTLY, CLICKING SOUND WHENEVER TURNING STEERING WHEEL. PROBLEM HAS BEEN REPORTED BY MANY OTHER OWNERS, AND HYUNDAI HAS EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR THIS FIX, FOR CARS UNDER 100K MILES OR 10YRS. MY CAR ONLY HAS 91876 MILES AND IS A 2013 (5YRS OLD). OILD CHANGE DUE AT 94874. HAVE NOT BEEN DRIVING CAR SINCE THEN. TAKING IT TO HYUNDAI SERVICE.

STEERING CLUNK WHEN STOPPED TESTING SIDE TO SIDE MOVEMENT. LOUD, IN CAB. POSSIBLE STEERING COUPLER FAILURE. UNKNOWN WITHOUT DISASSEMBLY. POTENTIAL FOR STEERING FAILURE, CAUSING ACCIDENT. MAY BE CAUSE FOR OFF TRACK STEERING ISSUE WHILE TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY. A PREVIOUS COMPLAINT WAS MADE TO LOCAL DEALERSHIP THAT THE VEHICLE DOES NOT HOLD COURSE (STEERING LINE), FORCING CONSTANT CORRECTIONS WITH STEERING WHEEL TO DRIVE STRAIGHT (OR IN DESIRED DIRECTION OF TRAVEL). GIVES A FEELING THAT TIRES ARE "TRACKING IN A GROOVED HIGHWAY" WHEN YOU ARE ON A SMOOTH ROADWAY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS 65MPH.

REAR TAIL LIGHT OUT. UNABLE TO CHANGE BULB AS IT HAS MELTED TO ASSEMBLY APPARATUS. BULB APPEARS BLACK. RESEARCH ONLINE REVEALED A MULTITUDE OF OWNERS HAVING ELECTRICAL ISSUES RELATING TO TAIL LIGHTS; REQUIRES FREQUENT BULB REPLACEMENT. RISK OF BULB BURSTING/FIRE HAZARD IS PRESENT.
IT WENT TO KNOCKING AND DIED THE GARAGE SAID ENGINE BEARINGS WORE OUT AND IT'S UNDER RECALL
NOTHING HAS HAPPENED SO FAR BUT IT HAS A REALLY BAD STEERING PROBLEMS. IT SEEMS SO SENSITIVE BUT I READ ON EDMUNDS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH THIS YEAR MAKE MODEL AND YEAR ALSO. IT GOES TO THE RIGHT AND LEFT A LOT AND WON'T STAY STRAIGHT. THAT IS UNSAFE. PLEASE HAVE HYUNDAI LOOK INTO THIS.

ENGINE SEIZED WITHOUT ANY INDICATORS WHILE DRIVING.

I HAD BOTH BRAKE LIGHTS REPLACE ON 2/19/2018 ON 2/22/2018 THE RIGHT BRAKE LIGHT IS OUT AGAIN. I WAS IN A PARKING LOT GOING ABOUT 15 MILES PER HOUR, AND THE PERSON BEHIND ME TOLD MY RIGHT BRAKE LIGHT WAS OUT. I CONFIRMED IT MYSELF WHEN I GOT HOME.
ON 2/19/2018 WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY MY SUNROOF SPONTANEOUSLY EXPLODED. THERE WERE NO PRIOR INDICATIONS OF PROBLEMS AND NO WARNING. IT WAS NOT BELOW FREEZING, IT WAS RAINING(I WASN'T USING IT), AND THERE WAS NO FALLING DEBRIS OF ANY KIND. IT SOUNDED LIKE A GUNSHOT WENT OFF BY MY FACE. HAD THIS HAPPENED TO AN INEXPERIENCED OR INSECURE DRIVER IT COULD NOT ONLY CAUSE A HIGHWAY COLLISION BUT FATALITIES. I BELIEVE THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OR POSSIBLY THE CHEMICAL MAKEUP OF THE GLASS USED WHICH MAKES IT SUSCEPTIBLE SOMEHOW(THE ENTIRE SUNROOF WAS GONE, 90%+) HOWEVER THE CAUSE IS UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME. I PULLED OVER IMMEDIATELY TO THINK AND MAKE SURE I WAS UNHARMED, THEN CALLED MY HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP AND DROVE STRAIGHT THERE. THE DEALERSHIP PUT IN A REPAIR ORDER WHICH AT FIRST WAS DENIED BY HYUNDAI. I CALLED HYUNDAI CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND STARTED A CASE. WITHIN A FEW DAYS HYUNDAI APPROVED THE SECOND ATTEMPT AND REPAIRED THE VEHICLE AT NO COST TO ME. HOWEVER IF THIS HAPPENED ONCE I BELIEVE THIS COULD HAPPEN AGAIN AND I WOULD LIKE A RECALL ISSUED OR AT THE VERY LEAST INVESTIGATED. THIS IS A PUBLIC SAFETY ISSUE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STARTED TO VIBRATE WHILE DRIVING AFTER BEING REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V226000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE VEHICLE WAS REMEDIED AT RICK CASE HYUNDAI (441 W SUNRISE BLVD, PLANTATION, FL 33311) BY REPLACING THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO ANOTHER DEALER (COCONUT CREEK HYUNDAI, 4960 SR 7, COCONUT CREEK, FL 33073) BECAUSE ENGINE OIL WAS FOUND IN THE COOLANT SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AT THE SECOND DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND OPENED CASE NUMBER: 11033831. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 71,872.
THE BRAKE LIGHTS ARE BURNING OUT QUICKLY. ONE SOCKET IN THE TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLY HAS COMPLETELY MELTED TO THE POINT THE LIGHT HAD TO BE CUT OUT.

THE VEHICLE WILL BE TOWED TO THE WEISNER HYUNDAI DEALER AT 1645 INTERSTATE 45 N #400 IN CONROE, TX AND DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 113,000. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.
UPON DRIVING ON THE FWY, MY VEHICLE SUDDENLY LOST POWER AS I WAS TRAVELING. ALTHOUGH AT THAT POINT NO WARNING LAMPS HAD COME ON THE DASH. I PUT ON HAZARD LIGHTS TO GET THE ATTENTION OF OTHER DRIVERS, BUT IT SEEMED AS THOUGH THEY DIDN'T SEE THEM. AS I STARTED TO GET OUT OF THE FAST LANE INTO THE RIGHT LANES, THE VEHICLE WAS JUST COASTING, THANKFULLY I WAS NEAR AN EXIT, SO I COASTED OFF THE FWY, AT THIS POINT THE CAR WAS GOING UPHILL OFF THE EXIT AND ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS APPEARED AT THAT POINT AND THE VEHICLE JUST STOPPED ON THE EXIT OF THE FWY. I CONTACTED AAA BECAUSE MY CAR WAS IN A VERY DANGEROUS, EXIT STRANDED AND I COULDN'T GET OUT MY VEHICLE. ONCE AAA TECH ARRIVED, HE LIFTED MY VEHICLE TO TOW IT AND HE SAID TO ME THERE'S OIL POURING OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE, THAT'S REAL BAD. HE SUGGESTED I GO TO A NEARBY SHOP HE KNEW OF AND THE OWNER HAD ME WATCH HIM AS HE LOOKED AT MY CAR. HE THOUGHT PERHAPS THE OIL PAN WASN'T SECURED. BUT, ONCE HE LIFTED UP THE CAR AND THE REST OF THE OIL WAS RUNNING OUT, HE SAW PIECES OF METAL IN THE OIL, HE SAID "THAT'S PARTS OF YOUR ENGINE, RIGHT THERE, YOUR ENGINE IS GONE. I SAID WHAT IS THAT, HE SAID , UNFORTUNATELY YOU HAD ENGINE FAILURE!

WHILE PULLING INTO A BUSY INTERSECTION MY CAR DECIDED TO DIVE OUT. THAT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS HAD I BEEN ON THE INTERSTATE AND COULD HAVE CAUSED A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT FOR A CAR TO ALL OF A SUDDEN SLOW DOWN AND STOP.
