I WENT TO MY NEAREST DEALER, IN HAZLETON, PENNSYLVANIA ABOUT A KNOCKING SOUND IN MY ENGINE AND THE RMPG GOING UP AND DOWN FASTER THEN USUAL WHEN PRESSING ON THE GAS. THEY TOLD ME HYUNDAI COULDN'T COVER IT SINCE MY WARRANTY WAS SOON GOING TO EXPIRE (60,000) MILES. AND THEY COULDN'T TAKE ME IN THAT CERTAIN DAY. MY CAR WOULD LITERALLY JUMP AS IF I WAS IN A HILL WHEN BEING ON A FLAT SURFACE.

FOUND OUT TODAY FROM A NON-DEALER MECHANIC THAT I NEED A WHEEL BEARING ON THE FRONT-RIGHT OF MY 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA GLS. MILEAGE 56K. VEHICLE IS GARAGE KEPT, AND WHEN I'M AT WORK IT'S IN A COVERED PARKING GARAGE. SYMPTOM: EXCESSIVE ROAD NOISE, EVEN AFTER TIRE ROTATION. SEEMS TO BE A LITTLE PREMATURE FOR A WHEEL BEARING TO GO OUT, AND OF COURSE IT WON'T BE COVERED UNDER HYUNDAI'S 5/60 WARRANTY. WAS TOLD THAT OTHER FAILURES COULD OCCUR IF PART IS NOT REPLACED.

CAR WILL NOT START HAVE PUSH START SYSTEM TRIED CHANGING BATTERIES IN REMOTES TRIED JUMP STARTING WITH NO RESULTS GOOGLED TO SEE IF IT WAS A RECALL OR ANYONE ELSE WITH SIMILAR OR SAME PROBLEM TO MY SURPRISE PLENTY OF PEOPLE HAVE SAME PROBLEM SAY HYUNDAI HAS KNOWN FOR YEARS AND CAN'T COME UP WITH A REASON FOR THIS HAPPENING
ROD BEARINGS GOT THROWN AND ENGINE SEIZED @ JUST OVER THE 100,000 WARRANTY. I NOTICED AROUND 80,000 THAT I WAS CONSTANTLY HAVING TO ADD OIL. SERVICE REP. SAID NORMAL FOR EVERY 700-1000 MILES. DEALER & MANUFACTURER SAID THAT REPAIR (REPLACE ENGINE) IS NOT COVERED. I HAD TO BARROW 10,000 TO HAVE THE ENGINE REPLACED. SINCE THE REPLACEMENT THE REPAIRED ENGINE BEGAN DOING THE SAME THING. MY MECHANIC BEGAN CHECKING THE PLUGS EVERY TIME I TOOK THE CAR IN FOR A OIL CHANGE (EVERY 5,000 TO 7,000 MILES) AND FOUND THAT OIL IS CAUSING THE PLUGS TO FOUL OUT AND SO I HAVE TO REPLACE THOSE EVERY 10,000 MILES TO AVOID CONSTANT MISS-FIRING AND POSSIBLE FIRE. THE BUAREU OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR HAS MET WITH THE DEALERSHIP ON THE ORIGINAL ENGINE FAILURE AND ON THE CURRENT PROBLEM (WHICH IS A REPEAT). THE FIRST MEETING THE DEALER TOLD THE REP. IF I COULD COME UP WITH THE 1 OIL CHANGE RECEIPT I WAS MISSING, THEY WOULD THEN PAY FOR THE REPAIR. THEY ALREADY KNEW I WAS UNSUCCESSFUL IN FINDING THAT. WHEN THE REP MEET WITH THE DEALER FOR THE CURRENT PROBLEM, THEY STATED THAT I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THEM STATING A PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY CAR TO A MECHANIC (TRUECAR CARE IN CAMERON PARK, CA). MY TRUST IN THE DEALERSHIP TO DO THE RIGHT THING WAS LOST A LONG TIME AGO. I'M DISABLED AND LIVE ON SSI. I CAN'T AFFORD ANOTHER ENGINE REPLACEMENT, OR THE COST OF PURCHASING ANOTHER CAR. I'M BEGGING YOU TO PLEASE HELP ME GET JUSTICE WITH HYUNDAI. MY STRESS LEVEL CAN'T TAKE MUCH MORE. MY SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME OVER THE LAST 3 YEARS HAS BEEN LOST DUE TO THIS PROBLEM. THE STEERING RATTLES MAKES ALL KINDS OF SOUNDS HAS A WEIRD MOTION WHEN TURNING IT FEELS LIKE IT FLOATS SOMETIMES. MAKES A CLANKING SOUND.

VEHICLE RPMS STAY HIGH EVEN AT LOW SPEEDS
THERE IS NO REMEDY FOR RECALL CAMPAIGN #162 WHICH I WOULD CONSIDER TO BE A FAIRLY SERIOUS ISSUE WITH THE ENGINE. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED YET BUT I DON'T WANT TO WAIT FOR IT EITHER.

TAKATA RECALL" AS I WAS PARKING CAR JERK FORWARD, ENGINE REVIVED, CAR ACCELERATED LIKE A BULLET, BRAKE FAILED. (I HAD BRAKE JOB PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT) I JUMPED THE CURB AND RAN OVER SMALLER TREES. AS I WAS HEADED TOWARD BUSY HIGHWAY NOT BEING ABLE TO STOP UNTIL MY HUSBAND PUT CAR IN NEUTRAL. THE NEXT DAY I HAD TAKING THE CAR TO THE MECHANIC AND HAD FRONT END REPAIR DONE, BUT MECHANIC COULD NOT FIND THE REASON WHY IT HAPPENED. THURSDAY, APRIL 20, 2017, AS I WAS GOING TO PARK THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN THAT THE CAR JERKED FORWARD, ENGINE REVIVED UP, CAR ACCELERATED AT HIGH SPEED LIKE A BULLET ON ITS OWN WITH NO ASSISTANCE OR WARNING AND BRAKE DID NOT WORK. I AM GOING TO GO AND GET IT CHECKED OUT AGAIN, BUT I AM TO AFRAID TO DRIVE IT BECAUSE IT DOES IT WITHOUT WARNING. CAR DOES IT BY ITSELF.
SEVERE LOOSE PLAY & CLUNK IN STEERING COLUMN AND STEERING WHEEL. STEERING WHEEL SHAKING WHILE DRIVING & LOSS OF CONTROL AND TROUBLE STAYING IN LANE. VEHICLE ONLY HAS 4,200MI'S.
MY ENGINE HAS HESITATED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND WHEN I LOOKED UP THE INFORMATION TO SEE IF THERE WAS A RECALL OR DEFECT ONLINE I NOTICED THAT THERE IS IN FACT A RECALL. RECALL NUMBER 162 SHOWS THAT WE ARE SUPPOSE TO GET A LETTER BUT I HAVE STILL GET TO GET A RECALL NOTICE AND THERE STILL APPEARS TO BE NO REMEDY FOR THE RECALL. HOW LONG TO WE AS THE CONSUMER HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE PROBLEM TO BE REMEDIED?

SONATA RECALL ON APRIL 14,,2017 DRIVING AT 65 MPH ON I 75 MY ENGINE EXPLODED AND I SUCCESSFULLY WAS ABLE TO MANEUVER TO THE SHOULDER. I HA BE SUBSEQUENTLY BEEN SENT A RECALL FROM HYUNDAI ABOUT THIS DANGEROUS DEFECT THAT THEY HAVE BEEN AWARE OF FOR OVER 18 MONTHS. HOWEVER THE DESTRUCTION DOES NOT END THERE. HYUNDAI MOTORS OF NORTH AMERICA REPLACED THE BLOWN ENGINE WITH A NEW MODEL ENGINE AND AFTER I HAD BEEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE AGAIN FOR 36 HOURS AND UNDER 300 MILES...THE NEW ENGINE CAUGHT ON FIRE TOTALLY DESTROYING MY VEHICLE AGAIN DUE TO MY DILGENCE AND THE CINCINNATI FIRE DEPARTMENT WE WERE ABLE TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE WITH DAMAGE TO OTHER PEOPLE OR PROPERTY. HYUNDAI HAS SERIOUS QUALITY CONTROL ISSUES. THE CAR WAS ON 4 TH STREET IN DOWNTOWN CINCINNATI WHEN THE FIRE BROKE OUT.
EVERY-TIME I START DRIVING, I CAN HEAR A GRINDING NOISE SO I CHANGED THE FRONT BREAKS AND THE NOISE NEVER WENT AWAY. THEN OUT OF KNOW WHERE THE BACK BREAKS AND ROTORS WENT OUT FIXED THEM AND NOISE IS STILL THERE. I HEAR A SMALL KNOCKING AND SQUEALING AND WHEN I STOP, I CAN HEAR A GRINDING. I HAVEN'T EVEN HAD THE CAR FOR A YEAR YET. I CAN HEAR IT WHENEVER I'M DRIVING.
A HOLE WAS TORN IN THE ENGINE BLOCK DURING NORMAL STRAIGHT HIGHWAY DRIVING USE. ENGINE WAS DEEMED UNUSABLE BY REPAIR SHOP AND IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REPLACED.
THE MASTER CYLINDER FAILED WHILE IN A PARKING LOT. A HARD STOP BY HITTING THE CURB.
CAR LOSES POWER WHEN GOING INTO A TURN AND WHEN DRIVING LONG DISTANCE ON OPEN HIGH WAY , SOMETIMES IT'S LIKE THE CAR IS APPLYING BREAKS BY IT SELF , THEN JUST TAKES OFF LIKE YOU HAVE YOUR FOOT FULL FORCE ON THE GAS PUDDLE . BREAK LIGHTS AND HEAD LIGHTS GO OUT EVERY TWO MONTHS.

THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE PART FOR THE REPAIR WAS BEING ORDERED AND THE VEHICLE WAS STILL ABLE TO BE DRIVEN. SIX DAYS LATER, WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH A SUDDEN LOUD CRUNCH NOISE OCCURRED AND THE DRIVER SIDE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE DROPPED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE COIL SPRING HAD DETACHED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND OPENED A CASE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. ON APRIL 4, 2017 I WAS DRIVING DOWN A BUSY STREET IN NOON TRAFFIC, WHEN MY SONATA LOST POWER. STARTLED, I TRIED TO RE-START IT AND IT WOULD NOT MAKE A NOISE. TURNED ON FLASHERS AND CALLED FOR TOW. ONCE THE CAR WAS IN MY DRIVEWAY IT TRIED TO START IT AGAIN, AND IT TURNED OVER ONCE AND WENT SILENT. MY SON IS A TRAINED MECHANIC, SO HE CAME FOR THE WEEKEND AND IT STARTED FOR HIM. SO, HE PUT IT IN GEAR AND THE ENGINE BEGAN MAKEING PINGING/TAPPING NOISE. HE WAS GOING TO BRING HIS DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT THIS COMING WEEKEND AS HE SUSPECTED MAJOR ENGINE ISSUES. MY CAR HAS UNDER 50000 MILES, WITHEN 6 DAYS, MY AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON, ALL THREE LIGHTS OF MY FRONT PASSENGER SIDE LIGHTS WENT OUT, AND MY AIR CONDITIONING DOESN'T WORK. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR AND THE FACT THAT THEY ALL WENT OUT IN SUCH A SHORT SPAN MAKES ME FEEL LIKE THERE ARE MAJOR ELECTRICAL ISSUES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V226000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) BUT THE CONTACT HAD NOT RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 143,097.
CAR HAS BEGUN RANDOMLY AND UNPREDICTABLY "STALLING" WHILE IN MOTION. JUST SIMPLY STOPS MOVING FORWARD FOR A FEW SECONDS , NOT RESPONDING TO GAS PEDAL . THIS HAS BEEN BOTH AS CAR STARTS FROM STOPPED POSITION AS WELL AS DURING CRUISING. BECAUSE MOST OF OUR DRIVING IS CITY, WE DO NOT KNOW IF CAR WILL STALL AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND WE ARE AFRAID TO DRIVE ON HIGHWAYS NOW. HUNDAI WILL NOT ATTEMPT ANY REPAIR BECAUSE THEY CANNOT DOCUMENT THE PROBLEM. WE FEEL IT IS EITHER A BAD COMPUTER OR A TRANSMISSION ISSUE. NO REPAIRS HAVE BEEN ATTEMPTED EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE BEEN INTO HUNDAI SEVERAL TIMES

THE CONTACT THEN STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO ANOTHER INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE TAIL ASSEMBLY SOCKET WAS MELTING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO OURISMAN HYUNDAI ((301) 725-4400 LOCATED ON 3516 FORT MEADE RD, LAUREL, MD 20724) WHERE IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT NO RECALLS WERE ASSOCIATED AND THERE WOULD BE A CHARGE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT THEN STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING BOTH DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER SIDE HEADLIGHTS FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED FOR THE MOST RECENT FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURE WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.

ELECTRIC STEERING AT ALL TIMES CAUSES MY SONATA TO STEER A LITTLE FARTHER RIGHT OR LEFT WHEN I MOVE STEERING WHEEL WHICH CAUSES ME THE DRIVER TO CONSTANTLY MAKE CORRECTIONS SO I CAN TRY TO DRIVE THE CAR IN A STRAIGHT LINE WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE. WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY IN SPEEDS EXCESS OF 65MPH MY CAR DRIFTS FROM LEFT TO RIGHT AND IM ALWAYS BEING CLOSE TO BEING SIDE SWIPING ANOTHER CAR. I PURCHASED THE CAR 01/17/2017 FROM CAR MAX WITH 31,000 MILES ON IT. I HAVE HAD CARMAX CHECK IT OUT AND THEY PERFORMED AN ALIGNMENT. STILL SAME ISSUE. THEY REFERRED ME TO THE DEALER AND THEY PERFORMED A CHECK ON IT AND STATED THEY ARE VERY AWARE OF THE ISSUE BUT THERE IS NO FIX FOR IT AND I SHOULD GET USE TO THE HAZARD. THIS HAPPENS WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY IN MOTION ABOVE HIGH RATES OF SPEED. MY INITIAL TEST DRIVE DID TO YIELD THIS ISSUE AS WE DID NOT TRAVEL AT HIGH SPEEDS. I ATTEMPTED TO TRADE IT THE 48 DAYS LATER FOR A NEWER SONATA AND WAS DENIED FINANCING. I JUST WANTED A VEHICLE WITHOUT A OBVIOUS PROBLEM AND THAT MAKES ME NAUSEOUS.
COIL SPRINGS. WE LIVE IN A COLD CLIMATE STATE AND OUR CONCERNED THAT OUR COIL SPRINGS MIGHT BE DEFECTIVE OR CORRODED LIKE THE SPRING PROBLEMS IN THE 2011 SONATA MODELS. WE OWN THE 2013 SE SONATA MODEL WHICH ONE WOULD THINK HAS A BETTER SUSPENSION THAN THE STANDARD MODEL, APPARENTLY THAT IS NOT THE CASE. AFTER A FLAT TIRE ON A PAVED COUNTY HIGHWAY (CAR IN MOTION AT 45MPH) ON MARCH 6, 2017 WE FOUND OUT THAT BOTH FRONT SPRINGS HAD TO BE REPLACED AFTER NORMAL DRIVING (70K MILEAGE). DEALERSHIP TOLD US PASSENGER FRONT SPRING BREAKING LIKELY CAUSED OUR FLAT TIRE AND ONCE IN THE SHOP, THEY DISCOVERED OTHER SPRING WAS CRACKED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AS WELL. WE HAD NOT ENCOUNTERED ANY MAJOR ROAD HAZARDS WHEN THE FLAT TIRE OCCURRED. CAR WAS MORE NOISY AFTER LAST SERVICE AT DEALERSHIP DECEMBER 27, 2016. SERVICE INCLUDED OIL CHANGE, TIRE ROTATION AND A REQUIRED UNDER BODY CORROSION TREATMENT. OUR RIDE SOUNDED MORE NOISY LIKE WHEN SNOW TIRES ARE PLACED ON A VEHICLE, DEALERSHIP AND MYSELF THOUGHT IT WAS JUST FROM THE RECENT TIRE ROTATION, BUT THE NOISE LASTED UNTIL THE FLAT TIRE INCIDENT WHICH OCCURRED WITH A RUMBLE LIKE SOUND FROM THE TIRE AREA AND A SUDDEN LOSS OF AIR NOISE FROM THE TIRE AREA, IT SOUNDED LIKE RELEASING AIR FROM AN AIR HOSE. DEALER REP MENTIONED HE'S SEEN THOUSANDS OF REPAIRS, BUT ONLY A FEW SPRING PROBLEMS WITH SONATAS AND ONLY 1 OTHER TIME IT INVOLVED A SONATA WITH 2 BROKEN COIL SPRINGS AND IN THAT CASE A DRIVER WENT OVER VERY SEVERE, ROUGH RAILROAD TRACKS WHEN THE SPRINGS FAILED, WE NEVER ENCOUNTERED A "BOTTOMING OUT" NOR ANY HAZARDOUS ROAD CONDITIONS PRIOR TO THE SPRINGS FAILING.

THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
TRAVELING ON HIGHWAY 65MPH REAR ENDED 2 CARS AT A GLANCING ANGLE WHILE ATTEMPTING TO AVOID THE CRASH. DRIVER SIDE FRONT FENDER, BUMPER ETC DAMAGED. AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. THERE IS A SENSOR EXACTLY IN THE SPOT OF IMPACT. I STILL HAVE THAT SENSOR IF ANY TESTING EXISTS FOR FAULTY UNIT.
2013 HYUNDAI SONATA BURNING OIL. AT 83,000 MILES WENT IN FOR OIL CHANGE (BEFORE IT WAS DUE) ALERTED TO THE FACT THAT THERE WERE ONLY DROPS LEFT ON OIL DIPSTICK.( NO WARNING LIGHT CAME ON) AGREED TO HAVE FULL SYNTHETIC OIL PLACED. AT THE SAME TIME THAT OCCURRED I NOTED DIFFICULTY GETTING THE CAR OUT OF PARK. DRIVER HAD TO USE THE MANUAL OVERRIDE TO GET THE CAR OUT OF PARK MODE AND INTO DRIVE. CAR WAS STATIONARY AT 84,660 MILES WENT BACK TO HAVE OIL CHECKED AGAIN. OIL WAS DOWN 1.5 QUARTS.
THE HEADLIGHT KEEPS TURNING OFF WHEN I'M DRIVING ON STREETS AND HIGHWAYS
I RECENTLY TOOK MY WIFE'S CAR TO A BETA CLUB CONVENTION, WITH 4 TEENAGE CHILDREN. WHEN I HIT THE INTERSTATE IT WAS VARY HARD TO KEEP THE CAR IN MY LANE AT 70 MPH. THE STEERING WOULD CATCH AND JERK ME ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. IT WAS EXHAUSTING JUST TRYING TO CONCENTRATE ON STAYING IN MY LANE. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE, AND IT MAKES ME WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO GET HURT BEFORE THIS OBVIOUS DESIGN FLAW GETS A RECALL?

THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN HOME AND THEN TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER (HOSELTON AUTO MALL, LOCATED AT 909 FAIRPORT RD, EAST ROCHESTER, NEW YORK), BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED OR DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO ANOTHER DEALER FOR A SECOND OPINION (VISION HYUNDAI LOCATED AT 755 RIDGE RD, WEBSTER, NY), BUT THEY WERE ALSO UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE AND DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED THREE TIMES PREVIOUSLY. HOSELTON AUTO MALL STATED THAT THERE WAS NO FAILURE WITH THE VEHICLE. THE DEALERS INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT NO REMEDY WAS AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 32,500. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
THE STEERING COUPLER FAILED, WHICH CAUSES STEERING ISSUE, AND COULD LEAD TO CRASH IF NOT FIXED.
WILL DRIVING ON US 1 GOING SOUTH BOUND IN MARATHON FLORIDA AS I WAS FROM 60 MPH TO 65 MPH ALL OF A SUDDEN I LOST ALL ENGINE POWER. SPEEDOMETER WENT TO ZERO AND ALL IDIOT LIGHTS CAME ON. I WAS ABLE TO COAST TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I TRIED TO RESTART AND IT WOULD NOT MAKE ANY NOISE. I CALLED HYUNDAI ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WHICH TOOK CLOSE TO 4 HOURS TO GET TO ME. THE CAR HAS APPROXIMATELY 29,600 MILES ON IT. AND THE PRIOR WEEK I HAD AN OIL CHANGE PERFORMED AT A HYUNDAI DEALER. THE DEALER IT WAS TOWED TOLD ME I NEED A NEW ENGINE. IT IS NOW A WEEK AND I AM STILL WAITING ON HYUNDAI TO APPROVE A WARRANTY CLAIM ON THE ENGINE.
I PURCHASED MY CAR FROM A HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP IN JULY 2014 WITH APPROXIMATELY 21,000 MILES. I DO NOT DRIVE IT VERY OFTEN AS I WORK FROM HOME. CURRENTLY, IT HAS ABOUT 61,000 MILES. RECENTLY, I HAVE NOTICED A CLICKING NOISE WHEN TURNING MY STEERING WHEEL LEFT OR RIGHT (STATIONARY AND IN MOTION). THE STEERING WHEEL ALSO RATTLES VERY LOUDLY WHEN DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE AT HIGH SPEEDS OR GOING OVER SPEED BUMPS. I WAS TOLD THAT THE COUPLER IS WORN AND THAT IT WOULD BE $300 TO REPLACE (PARTS AND LABOR). I HAVE HAD MY CAR FOR A SHORT TIME AND AM VERY DISAPPOINTED TO HAVE TO REPLACE SOMETHING THAT IS NOT A DIRECT RESULT OF DRIVER NEGLIGENCE. APPARENTLY, THIS IS A VERY COMMON ISSUE WHICH HAS BEEN RECALLED IN THE 2011 MODEL. HYUNDAI SHOULD DEFINITELY PAY FOR THESE REPAIRS AS IT IS EVIDENCE OF POOR WORKMANSHIP.
THE 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA HAS MAJOR STEERING ISSUES. EVIDENTLY 100'S IF NOT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS WITH THE COMPANY WITH ONLY A FEW PEOPLE GETTING THEIR PROBLEMS RESOLVED. FOR ANYONE DRIVING ON HIGHWAYS THIS COULD BE A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. IT IS PARTICULARLY BAD WHEN DRIVING AT HIGHER SPEEDS ON INTERSTATES. I HAVE ATTACHED SOME OF THE MANY, MANY COMPLAINTS I HAVE FOUND AGAINST THE MANUFACTURER. EVIDENTLY DEALERS HAVE BEEN TOLD NOT TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM, AND MAKE ADJUSTMENTS THAT DO NOTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEMS.
