MY VEHICLE WAS DRIVING FINE, THEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN I LOST ALL LIGHTS, ALL IGNITION, A/C EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE ENGINE. I LOST SPEEDOMETER AIRBAGS. THE CAR ACTED LIKE IT WAS SHUT OFF BUT THE ENGINE WAS STILL GOING. MY IGNITION HAS HAD PROBLEMS SINCE AUGUST 2014 AND I HAVE BEEN CALLING MY DEALER EVERY WEEK TO FIND OUT ABOUT PARTS. THE PARTS HAVE TAKEN LONGER THAN A REASONABLE TIME TO BECOME AVAILABLE. MY CAR NOW LIGHTS UP (EVERY CHECK ENGINE, TRACTION CONTROL, SEATBELT, OIL, AIRBAG, EVERY LIGHT ON THE DASH) AT LEAST 3 TIMES IN A HALF HOUR PERIOD. WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER IT WAS DUE TO A FAULTY IGNITION. MY CAR WILL NOT PASS CALIFORNIA SMOG WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON MULTIPLE TIMES IN MY TRIP ANYWHERE. I WAS TOLD SEPTEMBER 11TH THEY WOULD HAVE THE PARTS AVAILABLE. THEN IT WAS MOVED TO OCTOBER 11TH. CHRYSLER NEEDS TO FOCUS MORE ON THEIR CUSTOMERS SAFETY AND RELIABILITY OF THEIR VEHICLE. IT SHOULD NOT TAKE OVER A YEAR TO REPLACE IGNITION.

I AM STILL WAITING FOR CHRYSLER TO PREFORM THE P41 RECALL WORK ON MY CAR. CHRYSLER WAS FOUND CRIMINALLY LIABLE FOR THIS SWITCH. THE RECALL HAS BEEN IN PLACE SINCE JULY 2014. I GET NOTICES THAT THE PART IS NOT AVAILABLE. SO FAR THREE NOTICES OVER THE PAST YEAR SAYING THAT THEY DON'T HAVE A NEW SWITCH AVAILABLE. REALLY??? IT TAKES ONE YEAR TO DESIGN, MANUFACTURER, AND TRANSPORT AN IGNITION SWITCH, DOES NO ONE WORK IN DETROIT. I HAVE HAD THE CAR NOT START BECAUSE OF THE SWITCH, AND WHEN I CRANK AGAIN IT STARTS. I TOOK TO DEALER FOR THIS PROBLEM IN 2008. I WAS TOLD THAT THIS WAS NORMAL, THE CAR'S COMPUTER WAS RE-SETTING SO THAT I CAN START. DEALER HAS GONE BANKRUPT SINCE AND CLOSED. I AM TIRED OF EXCUSES FROM CHRYSLER. WHEN WILL THEY DO THEIR JOB AND FIX THIS PROBLEM. I WANT THIS DONE BECAUSE MY FAMILY RIDES IN THIS CAR EVERYDAY. I WENT TO MOORE CHRYSLER JEEP IN PEORIA AZ AND THEY TOOK PICTURES BUT THEY CAME BACK AND SAID THEY WILL NOT BE FIXING THIS BECAUSE ITS OUT OF THERE GOOD WILL PERIOD. THIS IS NOT OK, THERE ARE 1000'S OF PEOPLE WITH THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM! I BELIEVE THEY SHOULD FIX THIS FOR FREE!

THE RIGHT REAR DOOR HANDLE HAS BROKEN OFF MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN THE DOOR FROM THE INSIDE. THE PLASTIC THAT THE HANDLE MOUNTS TO HAS COMPLETELY DISINTEGRATED AND THE RIGHT FRONT DOOR IS STARTING TO DO THE SAME THING. THE VEHICLE IS OTHERWISE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND HAS BEEN IMPECCABLY MAINTAINED. AFTER RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE I FOUND THAT THIS APPEARS TO BE A CHRONIC PROBLEM. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO EXIT THE VEHICLE FROM THESE DOORS.

THE MIDDLE REAR SEAT BELT IS LOCKED IN PLACE TO THE POINT IT IS DIGGING INTO MY SEAT. I NOW CAN NOT USE THE SEAT BELT AND CAUSES A SAFETY CONCERN FOR MY CHILDREN AND OR PASSENGERS IF THEY ARE NOT WEARING A SEAT BELT. ALSO, THE REAR HEADREST REMOVES BUT THE POLES THAT HOLDS THEM IN STILL STICK OUT OF THE SEAT. THE HEADREST MUST BE REMOVED TO PROPERLY INSTALL MY DAUGHTERS BOOSTER SEAT. THE BOOSTER SEAT DOES NOT SIT FLUSH AGAINST THE SEAT UNLESS THE HEAD REST CUSHION IS REMOVED BUT IT DOES NOT LOOK SAFE ESPECIALLY IN THE EVENT OF A CAR ACCIDENT HAVING THE HEAD REST SUPPORT POLES STICKING OUT OF THE SEAT. SO ALL IN ALL THE REAR SEAT RENDERS ME USELESS WITH ONLY TWO SEAT BELTS AND ONE OF THE TWO WORKING ONES NOT PROPERLY INSTALLING A CAR SEAT BECAISE OF THE HEADREST.
THIS PAST WEEK, TWO OF THE 4 INTERIOR DOOR HANDLES HAVE BROKEN. THESE ARE DOORS THAT ARE SELDOM USED. IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME THAT THE REMAINING DOORS WILL BE AFFECTED. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE YOU CANNOT EXIT THE VEHICLE. I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS ISSUE ON THE INTERNET AND YOUTUBE AND IT IS A VERY COMMON COMPLAINT. CHRYSLER SHOULD RECALL THIS DEFECTIVE PART - THE CHEEP PLASTIC THEY DECIDED TO USE JUST CRUMBLED IN THE DOOR. INSTEAD THEY WANT ME TO PAY $340.00 FOR PARTS ONLY FOR "ONE" DOOR AND THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE INSTALLATION.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AT NIGHT MY HEADLIGHTS STARTED BLINKING ON AND OFF AT A VERY FAST PACE. I COULD NOT GET THEM TO STOP BLINKING. I WAS ABLE TO PUT MY BRIGHT LIGHTS ON AND IT STOPPED. THIS HAS HAPPED MANY TIMES OVER THE PAST MONTH. THE CARS IN FRONT OF ME THINK I AM TRYING TO MAKE THEM PULL OVER AND LET ME BY. THIS WEEK MY HEADLIGHTS CAME ON DURING THE DAYTIME AND THEY WERE IN THE OFF POSITION. I NEVER HAD THEM ON. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE AT NIGHT WITH THIS CONDITION. MY HEADLIGHTS COME ON WHEN I USE MY KEY REMOTE TO UNLOCK MY DOORS. IT IS NOT SET TO DO THIS AND WE CAN NOT GET IT TO STOP. WHEN I TURN THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON AGAIN THIS WILL RESET THE HEADLIGHTS FROM BLINKING BUT THEY ALWAYS START AGAIN WHILE I AM DRIVING. I CAN NOT FIND ANYBODY THAT KNOWS WHAT THE PROBLEM IS.
WHEN OPENING THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR I NOTICED IT WAS CRACKING. I JUST PURCHASED THE CAR USED AND FOUND THAT ALL 4 DOOR HAVE THE SAME ISSUE THOUGH THE BACK DOORS ARE FAR WORSE. THIS NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED ASAP. AND JEEP WILL NOT COVER THE COST FOR REPAIR AS IT'S NOT ON THEIR RECALL LIST. IT CAN RESULT IN INJURY IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY AND THE PASSENGERS CANNOT OPEN THE DOORS
