Tire pressure monitoring system failure multiple times a week. I've taken it into the service department several times and they can't seem to find a fix. Every time I get the alarm on my car, I have to get out, check all the tires to make sure I can drive safely. My sister in law has the same car and they are getting these alarms too. Jeep needs to get a fix for this asap.
On [XXX], on [XXX] Express Lanes (XXX) at approximately 55mph, I drove over an uneven portion of the highway being maintained/bumpy (far left lane). My vehicle intermittently pulled to the left while I attempted to steer right. I believed the problem to be associated with my steering/wheel components. After contacting the Farrish Jeep Dealer, 9610 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22031, I was told a recall (XXX) related to an upper control arm pinch bolt being likely why my steering might be affected. An appointment was scheduled for [XXX]. The issue happened intermittently but inconsistently up to the appointment date. During the [XXX], the Farrish dealer indicated the issue could not be duplicated. And I was required to pick up the Jeep. I subsequently called FCA USA, LLC (1 (800) 334-9200) indicating my concern driving the vehicle with intermittent issues that could result in a crash. I also requested to maintain the Loaner car that was issued during my service with Farrish Jeep; but no response/action was issued or received due to a required management call. It is March 10th, and I have not received the call. The vehicle is not safe to drive based on my recent experience and is available for inspection. And if there is any small chance that the current recall is affected by uneven terrain or bumps at high speeds; then I it can be catastrophic for my and my child’s health. Thus, I humbly request to return this vehicle with a full return toward another purchase that is safe for my family and I. My safety is at risk driving this vehicle. There is an open recall stating you may lose steering without prior warning. This has been going on for over 1 month and still there is no remedy to fix this issue. This is out of control and needs to be fixed now before somebody gets hurt! (I'm not currently driving this vehicle because the risk is so high yet no dealer or Chrysler themselves will help me. They both told me I should continue to drive the vehicle.)
Brand new car. Driven 600 miles. After shopping at Costco I get to the car and it is completely dead. Will not turn on and every single code possible popped on the screen. Luckily I wasn’t with my kids or out of town or this could’ve been a nightmare. How can this happen with a brand new car? Makes me afraid of what may happen in the future.
My car now has 2 open recalls associated with it (for a grand total of 5 overall) - and it only has 9,580 miles on it. The latest recall, 24V-132, does not have a remedy yet available. Jeep indicates the earliest they will be able to fix my car is April 8, 2024. I have told them numerous times I feel it is unsafe to drive. They are not giving me a loaner. They are not giving me a rental. I am stuck until "someone from the recall division calls" me back. Even though it's a rist of the wheels falling off, which can cause a wreck with no warning! Recall 24V-11 was enacted on 2/15/24. My defrost system doesn't work well ...
The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced a brief intermittent display of the rearview camera image while reversing. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the radio software update was performed under NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V436000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where an unknown repair was performed; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the contact was advised that the vehicle needed to be retained for servicing. The vehicle remained at the dealer for 7 months. The dealer had replaced the two side cameras, the control module and had performed the software update with the assistance of a Jeep factory engineer; however, the failure persisted. The engineer determined that the camera wiring harness needed to be replaced; however, the part had been discontinued. The engineer determined that the wiring harness needed to be bypassed, and a patch cord needed to be installed. The dealer called the contact and informed the contact that the rearview camera was operating as intended after the installation of the cord patch. The contact declined the vehicle repair with a cord patch and inquired about buy-back assistance. The contact stated that the cord patch reduced the integrity of the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000.
Windows fog up out of nowhere. Side windows and front wind shield. Will go away and come back. Happening without adjusting the defrost settings or anything. Dealership said that my vin isn’t affected.
While driving on the highway with the adaptive cruise control set to 77mph, the forward collision alert went off and tapped the brakes while passing a vehicle towing a trailer in the lane to the right. looking back at video on my dash cam, there was nothing in the road that should have set off the warning and the other vehicle was within their lane the entire time. I have had several false warnings in the past but this was the first time it applied the brakes.
While driving going about 40mph, I pressed cruise control to 75. Once my car picked up speed, no other cars around, no overpass, etc. my moon roof exploded out of no where. My 8 month old was in the backseat right under where it busted.
[XXX], I was driving down [XXX] toward Waynesboro GA, when the radio and dashboard lights started flashing. I assumed that maybe the truck system was resetting when all of a sudden the truck turned off, so I coasted into the middle turn lane on a two lane highway and then the truck filled with smoke from the air conditioning vent and underneath the dash so I attempted to exit the vehicle on the driver side. The truck would not start. Hazard lights would not work. Semi- trucks passing in both directions. My truck was then hit by debris from passing truck while truck was disabled in the middle of the road. The remaining 3 doors on the truck would not open. I had to have the car towed to the nearest Jeep dealership in Waynesboro GA. The dealership can't seem to figure out what's wrong with the truck but want to charge $900 to do a six hour diagnostic. I called Chrysler who is now sending out a third party to do a fire inspection but in the meantime I am out of a vehicle. The electrical system of this vehicle is causing several issues putting the safety of me, my passengers and drivers around me at risk. Starting at 6,300 miles the vehicle had a temporary loss of power steering. After parking for a day the power steering returned, leading me to believe it was caused by an electrical/software code issue. There was a safety recall for the battery pack starting on fire while parked, driving or charging. No fix was available for quite a while and I could not charge the car or park in the garage. Shortly after having the computer updated to stop it from spontaneously catching fire I have been getting a warning light saying to maintenance the hybrid system, and is accompanied with a momentary loss of propulsion. This happens without warning every 150 miles or so. The dealership said it had a ‘digital crash’ code and was not able to reproduce, but I have video evidence of the warning lamp coming on and then clearing itself. There is now a safety recall issued for this exact problem with no fix available at this time. There are no warning lamps in advance of these issues occurring, only concurrent to the issue happening. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle. Past experience tells me I could lose propulsion and/or steering at any time. I need to drive to work, it is unrealistic to not drive my vehicle until a resolution is found for the current round of safety recalls. I am afraid this vehicle is going to kill someone.
ON [XXX], at [XXX], i was driving the vehicle in electric Save mode, where the temperature was around -19 degree on that day and i was heading for car wash, During that time, the vehicle in front of me applied a break. i was at safe distance i applied the break as the distance was close Even the anti-breaking system did not work on hitting the vehicle at that time, and then it bumped three times. I was in shock at the vehicle's behavior and lost confidence in it. So the police office impounded the vehicle. to make the road safe. None of the air bags were deployed. I am having trouble picturing what would happen if this were on the freeway. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
The vehicle suffered complete loss of power steering function. The wheel could not be turned and the vehicle would not respond. Cycled the vehicle on and off multiple times with no restoration of power steering. Vehicle was towed to dealership. Vehicle spent 18 days in service with no fix other than to clear code U0131 "Loss of Comm with power steering" and to do a EPS Flash. Vehicle power steering issue may come again and no fix offered by Jeep. Phone call to Jeep fielded no help and offered no assistance.
-The sunroof shattered while driving. No one else on the road in front of vehicle while driving. -This covered the occupants (Driver, front Passenger, and two passangers in the middle row) with glass. -Dealer not aware of any issue, plenty of online forms from the public having same issue. -Reached out to Insurance to file claim and have repaired. -Glass was in perfect condition prior to exploding.
Started engine and had no power steering plus all warning lights on dash
The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The contact drove the vehicle to the shoulder of the roadway and turned off and restarted the vehicle and the computer was reset. The vehicle was driven to the destination. In addition, the radio screen displayed a black screen. The contact stated that the radio had been replaced by the dealer three times; however, the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was unknown.
Fuel gauge incorrectly shows to be full (with no change in range) until about 4 gallons (~80-90 miles) has been used. After that the fuel gauge begins to register and the Range begins moving down. After several attempts to get the issue fixed, I finally had a service manager admit it is an issue with all Cherokee & Wrangler 4xe models. I then did an internet search and discovered it is a well known issue.
Most Dashboard Electronics FAILED and are available for inspection Steering wheel red light symbol came on and I LOST Power Steering ! Red Triangle Safety symbol turned on Hybrid Electric Vehicle Failure ABS Brake symbol, Loss of brakes Hybrid Service light Engine service symbol Red battery light symbol, Battery power unavailable While driving the speed limit (25mph) in my Village with pedestrians crossing the street and traffic around me, the Jeep 4xe experienced a Cascading Electronic failure with the power steering; brakes; engine power and most electronic functions with the dashboard lighting up every symbol on the screen. I LOST COMPLETE CONTROL In order to regain control of the moving vehicle, I had to FORCE the steering wheel to turn into a Handicap space in front of me while attempting to brake at the same time. I was able to avoid the pedestrians and cars around me as well as the parked car next to me, without causing any damage to myself or those in the vicinity. If I was traveling on the Freeway, loading onto my local Ferry or driving on a major Highway or Freeway onramp, my life and the life of those around me would have been in serious jeopardy because I LOST COMPLETE CONTROL of the Jeep. Jeep FCA arranged to tow the car to the JEEP Dealer who INSPECTED THE VEHICLE, downloaded the computer data, examined the Report, CONFIRMED the multiple PROBLEMS and repaired the vehicle with a detailed description of the problems they encountered. Prior to the complete FAILURE of the 4xe, there were NO warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms or ANY indication of any kind of the impending crisis and near disaster. So far, there have been a total of FOUR RECALLS. Two have been addressed, with the third to be serviced tomorrow and the fourth without parts avaible to keep the wheels from falling off. I have receipts but could not upload them. I'm happy to mail them to you Thank you for your assistance
The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving approximately 20 MPH, the rear tailgate door erroneously opened. The contact indicated that on several earlier occasions while driving, the liftgate mechanism erroneously activated but the tailgate door did not open. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 50,000.
- Due to the use of soy-based wire insulation, a rodents nest was formed and found in the engine compartment. Wires were severely damaged from being chewed. The Electrical system failed with multiple open circuits. Evidently, the car has a design flaw. - Open circuits (exposed wires) pose a risk to the vehicle due to fire. Engine performance was rough due to the loss of some of the engine controls and the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module). - Vehicle was inspected by a dealer of the OEM - There was a check engine light, and loss of control electronics (Stop start system control, park assist control, etc. ). Problem first appeared on 11-27-2023.
It is easy, when driving in automatic mode, to accidently touch one of the paddle shifters. In doing so, the automatic transmission disengages, and the transmission suddenly switches to control by the paddle shifters. If the driver is unaware of this, the vehicle can lose motive power if the gear then in effect is no longer fitting for the vehicles speed and the engine's RPM. I recently took the vehicle in for service of this issue because my wife had experienced this while driving on Interstate 95, in Maryland. The vehicle stopped responding to the accelerator, so she pulled onto the shoulder, put the vehicle in park and turned it off. When she turned it back on, it was back in automatic mode, and she was able to resume driving. The technician and service manager advised that when this occurs, the vehicle can be returned to automatic mode by pulling the right paddle forward. That information does not appear in the vehicle manual, or on the Jeep website. The technician and service manager also advised that there is no way to disable the paddles to prevent the problem from repeating, Other drivers have experienced this. See [XXX] . I believe it is a serious safety problem. To that point, there is a pending safety recall -- NHTSA 23V- 412 (copy attached) -- that addresses loss of motive power for another reason. Here is the description in the recall notice: The transmission control module and the hybrid control processor on your vehicle [1] may experience loss of communication caused by diagnostic reactions to faults resulting in an engine shut down condition. Engine shut down may result in an unexpected loss of motive power while driving, which can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning. The sudden enabling of the paddle shifter and resulting loss of motive power is also a safety issue that needs prompt attention. The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that after driving 100-200 ft. and making a right turn from a complete stop, the electric parking brake engaged inadvertently. The contact stated that the failure occurred on two occasions. The contact was unaware if a warning light was illuminated. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer for assistance. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.
Vehicle completely shut off while driving down highway. Completely lost steering response and breaking response. There was absolutely no way to control the Vehicle. My daughter and I both thought we were going to crash and die. We live in Alaska and it's winter time so the road conditions aren't the best. It took about 10 to 15 seconds and everything came back on and started working again. I drove my vehicle straight to the dealership I bought it from and have demanded a buyback process. I haven't had it a year and even the hybrid heating coolant system has had to be replaced twice.
While on the highway, the 2 piece panoramic moonroof exploded. There was a loud pop, and then the glass shattered. There was no indication of any previous issue. The sun guard screen was open to let the light in, so the glass just fell into the car. A small, but unconfirmed observation from other drivers on the highway at the time, made me think the glass also fell unto the highway as the glass exploded away from the car. The dealership I took the car to was unable to confirm this was an explosion due to a defect or something hitting the car. However, I did not witness any object flying over head that would have dropped anything and nothing was found in the car. Only the dealership has looked at the Jeep so far. My insurance has been contacted to just let them know this occurred, but no claim has been filed as of 11/3/23.
The contact rented a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, he became aware that the running taillights were not functioning. After restarting the vehicle, it returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related it to NHTSA Campaign Number 22V544000 (Exterior Lighting), but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was unknown.
About two weeks ago, I was driving my Grand Cherokee on highway with my wife and our two-year-old. The power steering light was on and the service light was on. There's also a message saying "power steering lost" popping up at the control panel. The steering was extremely heavy that I lost control of it and could not turn left or right. I pushed brake and turned on emergency light until the vehicle slowed down and eventually stopped on the road shoulder. It was very dangerous. At that point I did not even know there was a recall about power steering on this model - although later I found out my vehicle was not included in that recall it. I took my vehicle to local dealership (Opelika Ford Chrysler Jeep). I also contacted Jeep service line. The staff from Jeep created a case for me (case #: [XXX]) but was not helpful as he refused to give local dealership authorization to repair it - even though the service light was on when I brought it in. The dealership also had some communication with Jeep service. And they were denied authorization to repair it with recall exception or under warranty as they could not duplicate the issue. I was outraged by the lack of responsibility from Jeep as they knew I had a serious incident while they denied authorization to repair it accordingly only because my vehicle was not included in the recall list. I also requested to speak to the supervisor of the Jeep service staff but was told my case was officially closed. Just unbelievable!! I wonder who would take the liability here if we got the vehicle back from dealership without a repair and we crashed with a two-year-old on board. While my wife was driving at night at 70mph, the left light selector knob near your left knee was set from the usual "Auto" position to the "0" position. She was trying to figure how to make the dash and radio lights brighter at night while waiting for me thus turning this selector knob that did make the dash brighter and not affecting the outside vehicle lights. When I got into the car and she was driving, she could not activate the high beam lever to stay permanently "on" by pushing the level forward as usual. Pulling the lever back engaged the high beams as long as you pulled the lever back but could not active them permanently on by pushing the lever forward. As I was the passenger, I went into the Uconnect panel menu to the "Light Section" and un-checked the "Running Lights" green check mark and all the lights WENT OFF WHILE DRIVING ! No head lights, no running lights, no rear lights, no outside vehicle lights while driving 70 miles per hour at pitch dark. Is this supposed to happen. I noticed in the owners manual that the Canadian version did not have this "0" position. Bottom line: Are you supposed to be able to turn off all exterior lights while driving at night completely off? Should I have gotten a WARNING of "This function is not available while the vehicle is in motion"? we have reported to the dealer multiple instances of noises (crunching and low thuds) and 'thumping' felt through floor boards coming from what appears to be front passenger side. Dealer installed right from sway bar end link as well as subsequently perform NHTSA mandatory recall repairs on Front Upper Control Arm to Steering Knuckle Pinch Bolt. After each 'repair' the problem appears to be getting worse (additionally we had the experience of the 'Sway Bar Disconnect Unavailable' light coming on while driving on a paved surface without having depressed the Sway-Bar button). We brought the vehicle into the Dealer again and one of the Service Managers came for a ride and confirmed our complaints. After a day of looking the Dealer stated that they are going to replace parts previously installed as they may have been defective. Parts are on order but we are concerned for our safety in continuing to drive the vehicle, due not only the sounds we are hearing / feeling but after having researched complaints online (as there are many folks having similar experiences, it appears that Chrysler / Jeep still have more work to do on the safe operation of the vehicle . thank you
Received recall letter for my car. I took the car to the dealership for an oil change and recall check. They mentioned they had to order the part for the recall. I also complained about a noise I was hearing when the car was stopped at a light, etc. They mentioned it was the motor mount and would need to be replaced too. I have been trying to obtain updates from the dealership since October 2023, and I keep getting the run around. They were supposed to call me last week to coordinate loaner as supposedly they had received my parts, but never heard back from them. I feel this car is a lemon and I would like to file an official complaint to see what options I have.
The vehicle’s hazard lights flash when the brake pedal is applied and my jeep is not part of the recall
- my spare tire, lane assist, and/or emergency breaking, which none went into effect during the incident. - I was forced off the road where I collided with a parked car on the side of the street, which led me to being taken by ambulance to the local hospital. - Not yet, my vehicle is currently at a body shop being repaired. - I asked my Insurance to investigate when they went for the appraisal, but am unsure if it was done. - No warnings were given prior to the collision.
I was never sent anything regarding my recall, so I’m kind of upset now it’s been since June 8th, apparently, since recalls been made and now come November my insurance is going to 138. I can’t afford that with daycare and other expenses. I’m going to jeep dealership tomorrow! And going to Speak to supervisor. But please make this right it’s utterly unacceptable to have said in USAA AP THAT MY INSURANCE IS INCREASING DUE TO NEGLIGENCE OF THE DEALERSHIP to inform me of my recall. I have two kids and not a happy momma right now
I was slowing down behind a bus waiting for a kid to cross and my car just shut off out of nowhere and wouldn’t go out of park.
My car just put on the emergency brakes/forward collision warning while I was driving down the road out of nowhere and slammed on the brakes.
I was turning at an intersection when I got rear-ended. I do not recall the car stopping right before I got hit, but there is video that shows the my jeep stopped suddenly during the intersection right before I was rear-ended. It appears the oncoming car turning the opposite way got too close causing my automatic braking system to immediately stop my car while I was driving. There is no other explanation as to why the jeep just suddenly stopped as I know I did not press on the brakes myself.
Power steering would not work said to service blind spot unavailable and service electronic stability control
In August 2023 a recall was issued for my vehicle (Recall 56A) for an issue with the Central Vision Park Assist Module. My CVPAM software was updated per the recall. As soon as this software was completed, my backup and forward facing camera has not functioned properly. Initially my backup camera guidelines disappeared and my forward facing camera guidelines would not turn off. My opened a "Star" case with Chrysler and worked on this issue for 3 months, replacing the camera, updating software, replacing two different camera modules and nothing would correct the issue. In November Chrysler told the dealer not to replace any more hardware and they acknowledged there was an issue with the software update that caused the problem. They informed my dealer that an update would come out to correct the issue in either a recall or a dealer notice. On [XXX] my backup camera and my front facing camera stopped working completely. I took my vehicle back to the dealer and they performed a diagnostic on the system. The same error codes were given to them as was before when only the guidelines were missing. My dealer opened another star case with Chrysler on 1/29/24 to look into the issue but as i write this complaint on 2/7/24 I have not received any additional info from my dealer or Chrysler as to when this issue will be corrected. I have been without a backup camera since [XXX] and I feel this is becoming a greater safety concern with all of the children in my neighborhood. Power steering and other warning lights, including blind spot monitoring and lane assist, came on in a Grand Cherokee. I was unable to move the vehicle - the power steering was locked. Fortunately, it wasn’t on the road, but the driver was stranded until able to get the vehicle started eventually. The issue with the power steering is concerning, especially while driving. The engine light has remained on since.
A few moments after I started my car and started to move the steering wheel became stiff and very hard to steer. I received warning messages on the dashboard telling me that the power steering was unavailable. There were also other warnings regarding blind spot and lane control systems.
While I was driving with my family on a highway, I deployed the drive assist function that controls the speed of the car and keeps car in lane, out of a sudden the car itself deployed a sudden quick brake without any immenant risk in fron of me ( there was no car in front of my car for at least more than half a mile) this caused a very close threat from being hit by the cars behind me amd all of my family members to be scared and worried and even my wife blamed me for slamming the brakes without any reason. I have scheduled an appointment with the dealer in the coming weeks to have it looked at and fix a recent recall as well as look into another weird noise/sounds that I was complaining to the dealer about in the past but was unable to fix or replicate
Battery is not keeping power and vehicle stalled out while going 70 miles and vehicle wouldn’t power on for more than 10 mins even after charging battery. I am getting 12.0V while going 75 miles and i get 14.0 when I am stopped and parked. Had to have vehicle towed to dealership and they said they couldn’t recreate the issue. The dealer didn’t put my engine cover back and my vehicle is still not producing enough power.
The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that after driving the vehicle for approximately one hour, there was a knocking sound coming from the front of the vehicle. A knocking sound was heard while depressing the brake pedal. The contact stated that the sound ceased after shifting to park. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The contact stated that the failure had occurred after a computer update was performed as part of a Service Campaign. No additional information was available. The failure mileage was 10,000.
left front clunking, knocking after driving for about 30-45 mins and temperature above 70 degrees (F). this happens when driving from small or large bumps on the road. after a three hour interstate the noise was almost constant. i have three recordings while driving of the sound.
Dealer inspection states my Jeep needs to be repaired as described in 23V-413, however the parts are on back-order with no ETA. I opened case #867-835-10 with Chrysler.
Vehicle sets automatic brake when backing up. The back up camera turns red as if something was blocking when nothing is there. When attempting to go in reverse the car kept stoping on its own and putting the emergency break on. It took multiple attempts to get out of the parking lot and has happened more than once.
The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V413000 (Suspension) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that when the vehicle was taken to the dealer, the contact was informed that the driver’s side rear coil spring was defective. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 16,103. Parts distribution disconnect.
The Forward Collision Warning light comes on display cluster during start indicating it is turned off. Adaptive Cruise Control does not appear to be working because it doesn't give warning upon closing in on the vehicle in front of my vehicle and I have had to react by tapping brake to turn the cruise off. Parking Collision Warning works intermittently. These problems showed up after a software update done at dealership. When I took it in recently was told they could not find any problems.
Unknown, The Jeep designed as to not be able to be put in drive with a door ajar. Twice now pulling out of parking lots, while driving the vehicle has disabled itself, put it inself in park stating a door was left open. I'm alright with a vehicle not allowing an operator to leave park while a door is open but it shouldn't be able to disable the vehicle while turning on to a busy street once moving.
Had multiple close encounters with vehicles in front of us suddenly stopping and no response from system, Also front parking sensors do not indicate when approaching an object until almost in contact, might get a visual on dash cluster, then a the audible afterwards, long time in between Getting back in vehicle and starting ti leave, now sensors are both visual and beeping One more item, using the self parking feature, gad to apply brakes before feeling that our vehicle was going to hit vehicle behind us in spot
