UPON DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD,WITH NO AAPARENT PRELIMINARY WARNINGS, A SCREW FELL FROM UNDER MY DASH ONTO MY FEET. I DISMISSED IT AS A DASH COVER SCREW AND KEPT DRIVING. UPON REACHING MY HOME AND TRYING TO PUT MY GEARSHIFT INTO "PARK", I REALIZE THIS SCREW HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE GEAR SHIFT AND LINKAGE. THE SHIFTER IS NOW LOOSE AND WILL NOT GO INTO "PARK". IF I HOLD IT TOWARDS THE "P" I AM ABLE TO GET MY KEYS OUT OF THE IGNITION. I NOW HAVE TO USE MY EMERGENCY BRAKE AND I HAVE TO START THE CAR IN "NEUTRAL". NOT A SERIOUS ISSUE UNLESS IT PROGRESSES AND THE GEARSHIFT FALLS OFF. I WILL HAVE IT FIXED BY THE DEALER TOMORROW - JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE PROBLEM. *NM

HAD VEHICLE TOWED TO DEALERSHIP ABOUT 4 WEEKS AGO AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME IT'S A DEFECTIVE TORQUE CONVERTER FOR TRANSMISSION THAT IS ORIGINATING FROMTHE SOUTHEASTERN DISTRIBUTOR. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I HAVE NOT HAD THE USE OF MY VEHICLE FOR 4 WEEKS.*AK

THE CAR WAS PARKED IN OUR DRIVEWAY. SEVERAL MINUTES LATER IT ROLLED OUT OF PARK UNOCCUPIED DOWN OUR DRIVEWAY ACCROSS THE STREET INTO OUR NEIGHBORS HOUSE. FORD DENIES ANYTHING. WE HAVE A POLICE REPORT AND VIDEO SHOWING THE CAR IN PARK UNDER A PILE OF RUBBLE. PLEASE HELP. *AK
3RD. TRANSMISSION IN CAR CAR CONTINUES TO LUNGE FORWARD OR BACK WHEN SHIFTED. *AK
WINDSHIELD WIPER ISSUE NOT RESPONDED TO BY DEALER OR MANUFACTURER. I WAS BLOWN OFF TWICE ON THIS ISSUE. FIRST WINDSHIELD WIPERS DID NOT OPERATE WHILE FLUID WAS LOW. IT AFFECTED SAFETY SINCE THE FLUID WAS SHOT ONTO WINDOW MANUALLY WHILE OPERATING VEHICLE AND THE I HAD TO PULL OFF THE ROAD CAUSE I COULD NOT SEE THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD. ONLY AFTER MOVING WIPER FROM AUTO INTERMITTENT TO MANUAL WOULD WIPERS OPERATE. DANGEROUS SITUATION CAN ARISE 1ST TIME THROUGH THIS SITUATION. ALSO TRANSMISSION FAILURE. *AK
WHILE TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY THE TRANSMISSION STARTED SLIPPING AND THE TRANSMISSION SHUT DOWN. THE DEALERSHIP IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. MR
