THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED USED IN 2010. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WERE 118,000.

THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THERE WAS A BURNING WIRE ODOR. THE DEALER STATED THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER THE LINCOLN TOWNCAR SIGNATURE POSSESSED THE CRUISE CONTROL MECHANISMS WHICH ARE CAUSING FIRES TO IGNITE EVEN WHEN ENGINE IS OFF.
