Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)A few weeks ago, I abruptly noticed that my front right tyre pressure was lower than the rest. I went to a gas station and filled air in the tyre and all was good. I drove over 200 miles in 3 days and did not see any significant issues. After this, I didn't drive for about 3 days as I was working for home. Over these 3 days the tyres seemed to have lost pressure again! I got my types checked and turns out the wheel rims, which are manufactured by Mercedes have a crack in them. This has happened out of nowhere and for absolutely no reason at all. I did not hit anything or go over any potholes. As a certified engineer, I can attest to the fact that this is not normal, the wheel rims getting damaged before the tyres of the car are affected is not good design on the part of Mercedes. I have seen a lot of forums and a lot of people complaining about this issue and I firmly believe action needs to be taken against Mercedes to rectify this life threatening issue. Thank you.
