NEW COUNTRY MERCEDES-BENZ LOCATED AT 1 WESTON ST, HARTFORD, CT 06120, 860-278-2000, WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 132,000. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.

WHEN POSITIONING THE SUNROOF SWITCH TO CLOSE, THE ROOF RETRACTED ABOUT 75% OF THE WAY AND THEN OPENED ALL THE WAY ONCE AGAIN. HITTING THE SWITCH AGAIN TO CLOSE IT CAUSED THE ROOF TO GO BACK AND FORTH, WHILE NOT CLOSING AT ALL. AFTER ~1 MINUTE OR SO IT FINALLY CLOSED. *TR
