TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 GRAND MARQUIS MERCURY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE WASHING HER VEHICLE THE PAINT BEGAN TO PEEL OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO ASSIST HER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED ON ANY RECALLS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 56,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 58,000.

PANEL BEHIND RIGHT WHEEL WELL IS LOOSE AND WHEN HEAVY RAIN AND WATER IS HEAVY ON HIGHWAY PANEL MAKES NOISE WHEN WATER HITS IT LIKE SOMETHING LOOSE AND MAKES A FLAPPING NOISE. I THINK ALL 2006 AND 2007 ARE THIS WAY. NOT RESOLVED. *JB
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THE CONSOLE IN THE ROOF, BLOCKS HALF OF THE REAR VIEW MIRROR. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CANNOT SEE PROPERLY WHILE BACKING. THE DEALERSHIP AND MANUFACTURER WERE ALERTED.
