On the morning of 6/18/2025 approximately at 545 am central time my 2023 Nissan Rogue SV lost complete power on Interstate 59 South in Alabama near Gadsden just past the one lane construction zone. No warning lights or check engine lights just had sudden engine noise and seen my rpm’s were holding at 3000 and not accelerating anymore. The noise stopped when the car went into limp mode. I was able to pull over onto shoulder and turned off vehicle. There were no visible leaks or signs of overheating. So called a tow truck to take me to nearest Nissan dealership. After several attempts of trying to crank my engine technicians discover a blown head gasket. Also note since owning vehicle there has been issues with engine misfiring and a spark plug blowing on cylinder 3 around 20k miles.

This vehicle was sold by Copart with a clean title despite prior federal NMVTIS junk/salvage reporting and insurance loss. The salvage record was concealed from the buyer and not properly disclosed by the seller. There is a pattern involving Copart, Hertz, Progressive, and other companies hiding salvage data, VIN laundering, and reselling unsafe vehicles. I have extensive evidence including title copies, NMVTIS records, and photos, in a secure Drive link: [XXX] . Please investigate for safety and fraud. Hi [XXX] , just wanted to let you know that the mount is approved through your warranty but you do have a $100 deductible from them. Tire and mount are here in stock. --Whitney Flanders Nissan of Orange Park When I was told two days ago by the service advisor that this has been a big issue with all Nissan rogue’s the transmission mounts having issues she said herself it’s a recall and now I am having to pay out of pocket ! Also this is the third time I have to have my tires replaced in 5 months of time this last one was brand new tire but dry rotted ! I will be getting a legal advisor involved as well as Better Business Bureau . I have missed work due to this issue where I have sat at the dealership for hours and they don’t carry the tires on hand but they offer the lifetime warranty we pay out of pocket each month for through the dealership !! The first time I was on the I expressway the car started to loose power I had the pedal to the floor and it wouldn't go. Took it to the dealer and they kept it for a week they changed the turbo and another recall part. Then it drove okay for maybe a month and started right back again loosing power idling I took it to the nissian they said its a recall on the engine bearings and there wasn't nothing that could be done. The transmission is constantly acting like its going out cause it takes a minute to go into the next gear. Im a traveling nurse I lost my contract due to not having a reliable vehicle it wouldnt start some days nissian checked the battery said it was good they couldnt figure out rhat issue. I bought a new battery still the same issue then I was driving down a busy street, I started smelling gas or a muffler smell the check engine light came on and then I took it to nissian. Nissian said the parts for the engine bearing is in but we cant fiix the recall until the check engine light is off. They did a diagnostics test and said its the EGR valve and control system. They want me to pay over 3000 dollars and refuse to fix it. Ive had the car for 9 months and even though the issue started before my warranty was up they refuse to fix it. Ive attached the first invoice and its at nissian right now I dont have the invoice yet.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
• Component: Oil Gasket Pan (can be inspected upon request) • On 10 June 2025, I took my vehicle to Firestone for routine maintenance. Upon an attempt to reinsert the oil plug, the technician could not do so; therefore, the oil gasket pan had to be replaced. The oil plug was not damaged. However, the grooves within the gasket pan itself was warped and the technician could not reinsert the plug in order for the oil to remain within the engine. Unfortunately, I had to pay $600+ just to replace the gasket oil pan for a defective part on Nissan’s end. The item is horribly made from plastic material; that is not ideal, considering that oil becomes hot during use. The main concern here would be can the vehicle withhold engine oil between oil changes and it would not leak? Huge safety concern here, in addition to the recent recall on the engine bearings. • I’ve also seen complaints regarding this from other Nissan Rogue owners for various years (dating from 2021-2024).
When parking, my car keeps automatically applying brakes. I have turned off this setting yet. It continues to happen. Safety is at risk when my car stops in the middle of the street instead of continuing to back up. Cars following behind me are unaware that my car will randomly break. I have not reached out to a dealer with these concerns and have yet to get an inspection.
I’m writing to let you know that I’m filing a plain complaint with Nissan North America Far Rockaway family Nissan. Address 600 Burnside Ave., Far Rockaway, NY 11691.They have not addressed this issue. It is a safety hazard for me on the highway. Due to the terrible failure, which is a manufacturers defect as of 625 they know about it. They have not yet rectified or addressed this problem the situation and I’m calling it to the attention of this department and filing a formal complaint with the Attorney General of New York. The vehicle continuously loses power. It is a manufacturers defect as stated in the recall I’m losing money, not able to work my job.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact noticed an abnormal ticking sound. In addition, the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the following day, the contact changed the oil, and the contact noticed metal shavings inside the oil pan. The contact stated that two days later, the contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact noticed a loud clunking sound and the engine seized. The vehicle was towed to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not inspected. The contact was informed of a recall on the VIN that was associated with the recall. The contact was advised that if a diagnostic test was performed, the contact would be responsible for the diagnostic fees and had to pay out of pocket for the repair. The vehicle had been with the dealer since June 2025. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the part for the recall repair was not available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 37,400.
When the air conditioning is on during the start of the vehicle a vinegar smell comes through the inside of the vehicle. It has distracted me when starting the vehicles I tried to change air filters and it did nothing Yes it’s been reproduced Yes they inspected it and did a recall fix on the turbo hose. That did not fix it No warnings
I received a message on the Nissan app informing me that there is an active recall affecting the engine of my 2023 Nissan Rogue. I called the service department at Butler Nissan, and they advised me that they cannot do anything at this time and that there is no fix available. I then contacted Butler Nissan headquarters to ask what would happen if my vehicle malfunctioned. Would they provide a loaner car or allow me to get another vehicle that isn’t affected by a recall? My 2023 Nissan Rogue is my only means of transportation, and I am concerned about my family's safety in case the engine fails unexpectedly. The female operator told me they don’t handle hypothetical situations and that I would need to call back if something happens to the vehicle. I find this response completely unacceptable. What if a serious problem occurs, and I'm unable to call back? She didn’t take my concerns seriously, and it feels like Nissan isn't taking this issue seriously either. We could be in a life-threatening situation with a vehicle that hasn't been thoroughly tested! I need a solution, not uncertainty.
Automatic breaking system shuts off and on. As well as, the reverse camera screen goes blank when putting vehicle into reverse.
"The vehicle is affected by NHTSA Recall #25V-437, related to engine bearing defects in the VC-Turbo 1.5L 3-cylinder engine. This defect may cause engine damage and sudden loss of power while driving, creating a serious safety hazard. As of today, no repair or remedy has been provided."
There is an odd engine 'rattling', 'guzzling', 'slurping', type noise coming from the engine and the engine has begun to idle very rough even after fresh oil change. This is directly the issue cited from Nissan as recall with no current solution - which is unacceptable. We are not interested in waiting until the car malfunctions worse and in a dangerous way in order to get this recall addressed.
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to report a critical and life-threatening safety incident involving my Nissan Rogue. While driving at a sustained speed of 65 mph on a highway, the steering wheel suddenly locked aligned on right side without warning. This mechanical failure rendered me completely unable to steer, putting my life and the lives of others (including my friend’s little daughter) on the busiest highway in immediate danger. Somehow I was able to hit the hard brake and get on the right curb after two lane without any control on the wheel to slow down my car. This is an abnormal and catastrophic malfunction. The sudden loss of steering control at high speed could have easily resulted in a fatal accident. Fortunately, I was able to avoid a crash, but the incident left me heavily shaken and raises serious concerns about the safety integrity of this vehicle. I also got hurt in my right hand although no airbag was deployed. This incident appears to be the result of a manufacturer defect or electronic failure, not driver error or wear and tear. I am requesting that Nissan immediately investigate this issue, and I demand: 1.Full diagnostic evaluation at no cost to me 2.Repair or replacement of defective systems under warranty or recall terms 3.Compensation for the emotional distress, potential loss of life, and loss of vehicle use caused by this incident Should this be confirmed as a broader issue, I urge Nissan to initiate a recall to prevent others from suffering potential injuries or fatalities. A failure of this magnitude must be treated with the highest urgency. Please contact me promptly to confirm that you have received this complaint and to begin the investigation process. I am prepared to escalate this matter through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and pursue legal remedies if necessary. Sincerely, Md [XXX] [XXX] 2023 Nissan Rogue 05/31/2025 [XXX] [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
The tire right side behind the passenger sit just blow off when I was driving in the exit 232, I 15 with direction to South, Antelope DR. When that happened without any sign that the tire showed any issue at all, I was afraid that could happen when I drive in a highway by 75 miles by hour. For that reason, I replace the four tires.
I bought my vehicle only a year ago and my sunroof glass blew off while I was driving on a highway. There was no object involved. I believe it was a defective product.
I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue from Galles Chevrolet, located at 2801 University Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107, on May 17, 2025. According to the vehicle history report, the vehicle has an active stop-sale record issued by Nissan. I am unsure of the specific component or system affected. Still, cars under an active stop sale should not be sold until the underlying safety or performance issue has been addressed. Since purchase, we have already experienced several issues with the vehicle, including: Engine performance problems, such as stalling and unusual sounds during startup. Electrical and digital system malfunctions, including warning lights, dashboard errors, and intermittent failures of the infotainment system. Other mechanical concerns include inconsistent braking responses and occasional unusual vibrations from the suspension, as well as numerous other issues. The stop-sale record indicates a potentially serious defect that could put the driver or others at risk. I have not been able to confirm the exact nature of the defect or whether it has been repaired. However, there are still two campaigns/recalls associated with my VIN. I am submitting this report to NHTSA to request an investigation and ensure that the vehicle is safe for operation. All payments are current, and there have been no crashes, fires, or injuries associated with this vehicle to date.
Oil Pan/Oil Pan Gasket damaged. Plastic oil pan with a metal bolt is due to fail anytime when replacing oil/doing an oil change. Nissan has, for about 99%, done all of my oil changes. Was told at Nissan the part was stripped, and could he a potential hazard of bolt shooting out of Pan due to pressure/heat expansion and lead to engine failure or be hazardous if vehicle was being driven. Was not even aware of this stripped bolt/broken pan until I went for a routine oil change with Nissan. This is my family vehicle and I drive my kid everywhere in this vehicle. This is a major safety concern and flaw and should be reason to reconsider and be gone with the plastic pans and have metal ones be manufactured/produced. Had to pay put of pocket for it to be replaced. Should have been covered by Nissan or be recalled immediately. This could put my family at risk if it fails and we are out driving. We do constant road trips and long distance destinations. This is concerning.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the check engine warning light illuminated, and the vehicle went into LIMP Mode and decelerated to 2 MPH. The contact was able to pull over to the side of the road. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the axle seals were leaking, and that the Lane Departure system had failed. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred two days later, nearly causing the vehicle to crash with another vehicle. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer to be diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact became aware that the VIN was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V438000 (Engine and Engine Cooling), which the contact related to the failure; however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that while driving at various undisclosed speeds, there was an abnormal sound coming from the engine. The local dealer was not contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 69,000.
The vehicle makes aggressive knocking and whistling noises while driving. Gets louder as the gas pedal is accelerated. The engine shakes and vibrates the vehicle. When the vehicle is turned on and parked with the front doors open, you can visibly see them shaking/vibrating very hard. The vehicle has been in to two Nissan dealerships, which I have paid over $1100, for repairs regarding engine concerns, and the issues persist 2 weeks. I have reached out to Nissan and was informed they do not have a remedy for the open engine recall on this vehicle. The warnings regarding this recall are complete engine failure and all research I have completed suggests not driving the vehicle as it is unsafe and should be addressed immediately. I travel about 80 miles per day for work and feel extremely unsafe. I have been reporting this to Nissan prior to them issuing the recall (recall was dated 7/14/2025).
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the sunroof exploded without impact. There was an abnormal popping sound detected before the failure. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was determined that the sunroof needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 8,001.
I am on my 4th windshield Windshields are defective be it materials ,design or fit
Motor blew. No warning no nothing. Nissan will not do anything about it.
The sunroof exploded while on the expressway going 75mph. At first after hearing the loud explosion, I thought it was a blowout tire. Almost got hit by two cars as I was pulling over .I took the car to the Nissan dealership and I was told I would have to leave the car there while they contact Nissan and send them pictures.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lost drive power with several unknown warning lights illuminated. There was white smoke coming from the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was coasted to the side of the road. The vehicle was first towed to an independent mechanic, but it was not diagnosed. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer, who determined that the engine had failed due to coolant intrusion into the engine from faulty bearings. The dealer informed the contact that the engine needed to be replaced. The contact later received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the failure was not covered by the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 76,071.
> I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue brand new and it now has only 32,000 miles. It has a major water leak—flooding the interior through the lights, vents, and floor—yet Nissan won’t cover it under warranty and State Farm denied my comprehensive claim. The vehicle has sat exposed for 3 weeks at the body shop during constant rain, worsening the damage. The car is now unsafe to drive. Nissan failed to disclosure valid and pertinent information regarding the limitations on their warranty coverage. Furthermore, Nissan failed to disclose maintenance guidelines for maintaining a sunroof. Additionally, regardless of any debris build-up, the size of the water lines are inadequate to hold large volumes of water at a given time. The amount of rain that has occurred in Alabama over the past 3 months super exceeds the capacity of these drainage tubes, leading to interior flooding that is detrimental to the integrity of the safety features in this vehicle. My lights, electrical panel, air bags, and electrical ports have all been impacted by this intrusion and now I'm left with a useless, unsafe, and unpredictable vehicle that has a total of 32,000 miles. This is fraud and deceptive behavior that should be made public. I believe others need to know this could happen. I’d appreciate your help.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 MPH, there was an abnormal fuel odor inside the cabin of the vehicle, and there was an abnormal knocking sound coming from the engine compartment. The check engine warning light illuminated, and the message "Engine Failure" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer several times however; the failure was not duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 55,931.
Engine keeps making noise Check Engine light keeps on due to a part on car Take and speed is slow Car will only got up to 80 top speed
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the vehicle was difficult to start. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving 40-60 MPH, the vehicle jolted. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the CarMax dealer, where it was purchased. The vehicle was then taken to an unknown Nissan dealer, where the diagnostic trouble codes were cleared. The contact stated that the failure persisted, and the vehicle was taken back to the CarMax dealer. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000(Engine and Engine Cooling), which the contact related to the failure; however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. An unknown Nissan dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 48,000.
There is an intermittent smell of gas/exhaust fumes in the cabin since purchasing the car. Nissan says there is no issue and offers no fix but I have never owned a car that had this type of smell in the cabin unless there was something wrong. The smell can be so bad as to cause nausea and headaches.
I entered the 2023 Nissan Rogue around [XXX] on St. Simons Island GA, on [XXX] with my granddaughter. Upon shutting the doors, the rear hatchback window exploded into pieces and blew out. I had not left the parking place or cranked the car. The glass pieces were all over the road and on the inside of my car. The police were called and a report was filed. How was my safety put at risk? Besides being shocked and traumatized at what sounded like a gunshot, I am now concerned about driving this car again with a new rear window because I fear it could happen again at any time. I am also suffering from a form of PTSD with super loud noise. (I jumped off my yoga mat when someone dropped a metal cup that made a very loud noise during our practice.) I asked the dealership why it happened and I called the Nissan Customer Service Center and have yet to find out why this has happened. My own research has indicated that this problem has occurred in many 2023 Nissan Rogues. The car was inspected by the police and they saw no foul play. The dealership currently has the car and is currently waiting on a new rear hatch window and it will be replaced at no cost after I strongly urged that this car was under warranty and this appears to be a defect (although the dealership doesn't agree). No -- the problem has not been reproduced at the dealership since it does not involve a mechanical part. I contacted the Georgia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division (CPD) to try to make a Lemon Law Report and the advisor I spoke to indicated that the problem had to occur more than once. Therefore I was unsuccessful in filing that report on April 2, 2025. Since the car had not been turned on, there were no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms that the rear window was about to blow out. Again, this happened all on [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that while driving at 20 MPH, there was an abnormal grinding sound coming from the engine while accelerating. The contact stated that the engine performance was rough. No warning lights were illuminated. The local dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the recall notice was suspended. The failure mileage was approximately 59,700.
Very strong fuel smell comes from the engine compartment after driving. When I am in stop start driving it enters through the vent and the smell is strong in the cabin. Had it to the dealer two times. They attempted a fix which did not work the first time. I brought it in again today and they stated this is a known problem and that it is under engineering review and there is no fix for it currently.
I’ve been taking my 2023 AWD Rogue in for warning light and sensors issues and noises from the engine , the dealership that does the repairs informs me there is a recall back in July of 2025 but there is no remedy so there is nothing that can be done and that there is no problem with my vehicle . I shouldn’t worry they will call me.
There was no incident, just routine occurrences of the following that could lead to one: 1) the wipers do not clear the upper right (passenger) side of the windshield, creating a blind spot, which is especially dangerous when turning. Photo attached, though note this is a mild instance and visibility can be much worse. 2) the rearview camera has been blacking out while the car is in reverse. The black screen lasts about a second and is becoming more common, maybe once a day. 3) the power steering goes out occasionally, which I am strong enough to deal with, but would be difficult for my children (who also drive the car) to deal with.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle started losing automotive power. The contact stated the engine failure warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was stopped and restarted after waiting 20 minutes. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed, and several undisclosed parts were replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The contact stated that the vehicle lost automotive power several times with the engine failure warning light illuminated. The contact informed the dealer that the notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine Cooling) was received. The dealer acknowledged that the recall was associated with the VIN; however, the contact was unsure if the recall repair was performed. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 59,813.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the RPM increased quickly, but failed to maintain automotive power. The contact stated that the message "CVT fault service immediately" was displayed. The CVT warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed failures with the CVT and electronic oil pump. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 7,800.
There is a couple malfunction warnings that come on randomly and it disables the cruise control. It hasn’t affected my safety yet, but there is a possibility every time I drive my vehicle while those lights are on. The problem has been confirmed by the dealer and they’ve attempted a few things to repair it but it hasn’t been completely fixed. I have been told by the dealer that this is something that was fixed with the 2024 model per a recall but the 2023 models they haven’t been able to figure out yet. It’s been happening since I first got the vehicle. We bought it used.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35-40 MPH, the vehicle started lagging and lost motive power as if the vehicle would shut off. The continuously variable transmission (CVT) code was displayed on the instrument panel with an engine malfunction. The failure occurred the following morning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer however, the dealer could not retrieve the CVT code to determine the cause of the failure. The dealer stated that the transmission fluid would be flushed and refilled as a temporary repair until the vehicle could be diagnosed and CVT code had been retrieved. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 58,000.
I had my vehicle repaired in March 2025 due to significant gas fumes in the cabin while driving. I had it repaired three months after purchasing it. I am now have concerns about the gas fumes in the cabin while the air conditioning is on to the extent that it caused me to physically get sick. each and every time my windows are completely closed and I have the air conditioning on. It can smell significant amount of gas fumes in the vehicle. If I’m at a drive up window, I open my window. It increases the smell while idling
I am reporting a recurring issue related to the oil drain plug design on the 2023 Nissan Rogue. During a routine oil change service, the technician at Midas broke the oil pan drain plug, resulting in the need to replace the entire oil pan. This was not due to technician negligence, but rather a reflection of a poorly designed or overly fragile drain plug and oil pan combination that is prone to damage during standard maintenance. This is the second time this has occurred, and it has become clear that the design lacks durability and fails to withstand the basic functions required during oil changes. Although Midas covered the replacement this time, this is not a sustainable solution, as owners should not be expected to risk hundreds of dollars in damage during a basic service procedure. There are numerous reports online of similar issues affecting other 2023 Nissan Rogue owners. This appears to be a design flaw that could lead to repeat incidents and unnecessary financial burden for vehicle owners. I am seeking acknowledgment of this issue by Nissan and a permanent resolution, whether through a redesigned part, recall, or official service bulletin.
I believe there is an issue with the transmission. While driving, the vehicle is unable to accelerate. The engine revs high and the RPMs go really high. I have to pull over and turn off the car. When I restart, I am able to proceed, and the car acts normal. This has happened several times and has occurred in heavy traffic. This issue has happened many times over the past few months.
Rear window shattered without previous damage or impact of any object. Vehicle was parked in the middle of a garage, temperature was 32F and driver was present during event. Heard loud noise followed by rear glass shattering and fragments flying all the way to back seat passengers. Nobody was hurt, but glass shards had to be removed from their hair/ clothing. Problem has not been reproduced in dealership, but multiple reports for same vehicle have been filed online. Vehicle has not been inspected by insurance, as they will not cover it. There were no warning signs, or evidence of malfunction. Glass was inspected that same day before driving, had no cracks or breaks. Rear wiper was off when this happened.
Burger King doesn't always kick on and I have to turn the car off and turn it on before it'll kick on even when it's in the on position. Don't feel any air coming out until I turn the car off. Turn it back on then it starts working again. Also the radio doesn't want to turn off or turn on at times and so again I will turn the car off and on and it seems to reset and then I can work the radio. But I've done this on a few occasions where when I turn the car back on it still didn't work the radio.
Dash displays message indicating forward driving aids are disabled due to "Lane camera over temperature" on a frequent basis. This occurs even in below-freezing weather when the interior of the vehicle is cold. Adaptive speed control, AEB, lane departure, etc., systems are disabled. A vehicle restart clears the error. Nissan is aware of this issue (reference their TSB reference number NTB22-088.) Even though this repeatedly occurs, the Nissan dealer claims it is normal behavior and will not take corrective action unless a DTC is found.
