ABOUT 2 MINUTES FROM MY HOME, MY LOW TIRE LIGHT WENT ON. VERY SOON AFTER MY TIRE WENT FLAT. I PULLED TO THE CURB IN FRONT OF MY HOME. THE TIRE ROLLED OFF MY CAR AND THE RIM HIT THE GROUND, DESTROYING THE RIM. MY SENTRA IS A 2015 WITH 9000 MILES ON IT, WELL MAINTAINED. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN. SHOULD THIS BE A WARRANTY ITEM OR RECALL? REPAIRS FRO RIM AND TIRE CAME TO $600.00.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN SENTRA EQUIPPED WITH BRIDGESTONE TURANZA EL 400 TIRES, SIZE: P205/55R16. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THE CONTACT PULLED TO THE ROADSIDE AND EXITED THE VEHICLE TO OBSERVE THE TIRES. THE RIM AND TIRE WERE REPLACED WITH A SPARE BEFORE IT WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIRE AND RIM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE TIRE WAS REPLACED.
