HUSBAND AND I WERE NOTIFIED THAT THERE IS A LEAK IN THE FUEL PUMP. IN RESEARCHING, I SEE THAT THERE HAS BEEN AN ONGOING ISSUE WITH THE FUEL PUMP ASSOCIATED WITH PONTIAC G6'S FOR THE 2008 MODEL YEAR. THIS WOULD EXPLAIN WHY WE HAVE SMELLED GAS OFF AND ON SINCE WE PURCHASED THE CAR, BUT WHEN EXAMINED BY MECHANIC, NOTHING WAS FOUND. IF THERE IS A DEFECT IN THE AIR TEX FUEL PUMP USED IN THE MANUFACTURING OF THE 2008 G6'S, THEN WHY WAS THERE NO RECALL ISSUED. I THINK THIS IS A FLAGRANT DISREGARD FOR PUBLIC SAFETY AND NEGLIGENCE. *JS
M2008 PONTIAC G6 LOST OF STEERING POWER WHILE DRIVING AT 40 MILES PER HOUR. . THANK GOD I WAS NOT GOING FASTER.I CALLED THE DEALER SHIP THEY TELL ME THERE IS ON SREERING RECALL FOR MY CAR... BUT NOW IT LOOSES POWER STEERING OFTEN.JUST HOPE A CRASH DOES NOT HAPPEN
MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVE AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED ON HER TWO TIME. I FOUND OUT THERE WAS A RECALL ABOUT THIS. I WAS NEVER NOTIFY OF THIS. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER ABOUT THIS AND I HAD TO PAY FOR THE WORK. I DON'T THINK I SHOULD HAVE TO PAY. IF MY DAUGHTER WOULD HAVE BEEN HURT OR KILLED WHAT THEN. WHAT CAN I DO? NEED YOUR HELP. *TR
THE HEADLIGHTS IN MY 2008 PONTIAC G6 HAVE BEEN REPLACED SEVERAL TIMES IN THE LAST 16 MONTHS. THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE PERSON INDICATES I HAVE A BAD CONNECTOR POSSIBLY DUE TO A SHORTAGE. I'VE HAD SEVERAL OTHER ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH THIS VEHICLE SINCE 2008. CURRENTLY THE DRIVER SIDE HEADLIGHT IT OUT. THE REPAIR HAS NOT BEEN MADE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 PONTIAC G6. WHILE TRAVELING 50 MPH, THE POWER STEERING FAILED. THE STEERING WHEEL STARTED TO SHAKE AND THE POWER STEERING LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE ELECTRONIC POWER ASSIST MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS MADE AWARE OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V153000 (STEERING); HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,000. WAS GOING 5 MPH BECUASE OF WEATHER, HIT ICE, ENDED UP DOING APPROXIMATELY 25-30 MPH IN A SLIDE. THREW ME IN A DITCH FRONT FIRST. DID 5671.65 IN DAMAGES ON THE FRONT END ALONE. 63 PARTS REPLACED. AIRBAGS AND ONSTAR DID NOT ACTIVATE. IF MY HUSBAND AND I WERE NOT WEARING OUR SEAT BELTS WE WOULSVE BEEN THROWN OUT THE WINDSHIELD. WHOLE ENTIRE FRONT END WAS IN THE DITCH AND BACK PASSENGER TIRE WAS IN MID AIR. WHEN MY HUSBAND WENT TO GET OUT OF VEHIICLE HE FELL OUT OF THE CAR AND LANDED UNDER THE CAR. THERE ARE PICTURES TAKEN BY THE STATE HIGHWAY PATROL AS WELL AS MYSELF. HUSBAND AND I WERE SORE FROM THE ACCIDENT BUT DID NOT GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. *TR

THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE IGNITION SWITCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. HOWEVER, THE PART NEEDED TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000.
THE STEERING WHEEL STARTED SHAKING BACK AND FORTH WHILE CAR WAS IN PARK AT IDLE. THEN WITHIN A FEW DAYS THE POWER STEERING WOULD NOT ENGAGE AT ALL UPON FIRST START UP SO I WOULD HAVE TO TURN OFF THE CAR AND RESTART IT UNTIL THE POWER STEERING WAS ENGAGED THEN ON THE 9TH OF FEB 2015 WHILE DRIVING IT JUST CUT OUT COMPLETELY WHILE DRIVING AND WITH A FEW RESTARTS IT STARTING WORKING BUT NOT SHORTLY AFTER IT QUIT AND WONT WORK AT ALL NOW. *TR

I WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THE RADIO SCREEN DISPLAYED A POWER STEERING WARNING MESSAGE. I PLACED THE VEHICLE IN PARK AND SHUT THE ENGINE OFF. AFTER RESTARTING THE VEHICLE, THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FUNCTION BECAME OPERABLE. AFTER COUPLE MINUTES THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. I CALLED PONTIAC CONTACT NUMBER ABOUT A RECALL AND THEY SAID THAT THE RECALL IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR MY VIN NO. *TR

I HAVE REPLACED THE PASSENGER SIDE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT 3 TIMES IN APPROXIMATELY 6 MONTHS AND ITS OUT AGAIN. I'VE ALREADY GOTTEN A WARNING FOR DRIVING WITH IT OUT BUT I CAN'T AFFORD TO KEEP REPLACING IT OR TO REPLACE WHATEVER IS CAUSING IT. I SEE SEVERAL OTHER COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM SO WHY HASN'T THIS BEEN RECALLED?
LEFT LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT REPEATEDLY STOPS WORKING, HAVE REPLACED TWICE IN ONE MONTH. THIS IS APPARENTLY A VERY COMMON ISSUE. STILL NEED TO CHECK WIRING FOR CORROSION/DAMAGE. *TR

I WAS BRAKING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 60 MPH AND ALL OF A SUDDEN MY POWER STEERING FAILED. LUCKILY NO CRASH OCCURRED. TRIED CONTACTING GM AND THEY SAID BECAUSE MY VIN WAS NOT ON THE RECALL NOTICE THEY COULDN'T DO ANYTHING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. GM NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AND SEE IF ANYONE ELSE FROM THIS FACTORY HAS DEALT WITH SIMILAR ISSUES AND ISSUE A RECALL FOR MORE VEHICLES. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF OPERATED NORMALLY THE FOLLOWING DAY. THE CONTACT ALSO INDICATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE WOULD SUDDENLY STOP ACCELERATING WHEN PRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE FAILURES WERE NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000.
MY CAR STARTED TO LAG AND SHUDDER WHEN ACCELERATING WITH A LOAD PUT ON SUCH AS GOING UPHILL. IT HAS ONLY GOTTEN WORSE AND IT WON'T ALERT MECHANICS WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT AND HAS COST ME HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS FOR THEM TO TELL ME THEY CANT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP WAS FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,000.
THE POWER STEERING GOES OUT AND THE CAR IS VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN. *TR
IN 2013, MY CAR WAS SERVICED FOR A RECALL THAT INCLUDED THE GEAR SELECTOR CABLE FOR MY PONTIAC G6. THE RECALL WAS SENT OUT IN ORDER TO REPLACE FAULTY GEAR SELECTOR CABLES THAT COULD BREAK AND FAIL TO DISPLAY THE CORRECT GEAR POSITION. THIS COULD LEAD TO THE VEHICLE BEING PLACED IN NEUTRAL WHEN THE SELECTOR SAID PARK. MY CAR UNDERWENT THE REQUIRED REPAIRS AND THEN, 14 MONTHS LATER, EXPERIENCED THE EXACT SAME ISSUE. LUCKILY, I WAS ALREADY FAMILIAR WITH THE PROBLEM, SO I WAS ABLE TO APPLY A TEMPORARY FIX TO MY CAR IN ORDER TO KEEP IT DRIVEABLE. HOWEVER, UPON CONTACTING GM, THEY REFUSED TO PERFORM THE REPAIR SINCE THE RECALL HAD EXPIRED AND THE PART WAS NO LONGER COVERED UNDER THE RECALL WARRANTY. IT SEEMS THAT ALTHOUGH GM DID A RECALL, THE REPAIR THAT THEY REQUIRED THEIR DEALERS TO PERFORM DID NOT ADDRESS THE ACTUAL PROBLEM.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO WALSER BUICK GMC BLOOMINGTON (612-326-6297, LOCATED AT 4601 AMERICAN BLVD W, BLOOMINGTON, MN 55437) WHERE THE POWER STEERING MOTOR MODULE WAS REPLACED AGAIN, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING MOTOR MODULE COVERAGE EXPIRED. NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED AND THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED TO NHTSA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 80,000.
ON DEC. 30TH AFTER AN OIL CHANGE THE WARNING SYSTEM ON THE DASH HAD THE AIR BAG LIGHT ON AND CENTER CONSOLE SAID THE AIR BAG SYSTEM NEEDED SERVICE. THIS HOWEVER WENT AWAY WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS SHUT DOWN AT HOME AND NEVER CAME BACK TILL TODAY JAN. 8TH, 2015 WHEN THERE WAS A PASSENGER BUT AGAIN WENT OFF AND STAYED OFF AFTER A 5.9 MILE TRIP, THE DASH INDICATOR READ PASSENGER SYSTEM WAS NOT ENGAGED DURING SAID TRIP. THE STARTING MILEAGE ON THE SECOND INCIDENT WAS 129033.3 AND THE FIRST WAS APPROXIMATELY 410 MILES PRIOR. I CAN PROVIDE THIS NUMBER IF NEEDED AS IT WAS RECORDED FOR THE OIL CHANGE. THIS VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY SUBJECT TO TWO OTHER RECALLS ONE IS 13036 THE OTHER 14152, AND WHEN THE AIRBAG WARNING STARTED I WAS ALREADY AWAITING SERVICE ON THESE. AS I RECALL THE REPORTS RECENTLY IN THE NEWS RELATED TO FAILINGS IN THE PASSENGER SYSTEM AND THIS SEEMS TO BE TIED TO THAT SIDE AS IT DID NOT ENGAGE AS I READ IT. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE AIR BAG SYSTEM SHORTED OUT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VIN PROVIDED WAS INVALID. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,000.
AFTER GETTING THE RECALL PART REPLACED (STEERING SHAFT TORQUE SENSOR) I STARTED HAVING ISSUES WITH THE POWER STEERING, MY LIGHT CAME ON IN THE RADIO DASH AND THE STEERING WHEEL PULLED TO RIGHT. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY ARE NOW TELLING ME I NEED MY POWER STEERING MODULE REPLACED WHICH IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE RECALL AND I WILL HAVE TO PAY 500+ TO REPLACE IT. I FEEL GM SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS PART AS IT ALL HAS TO DO WITH THE STEERING ASIST, WHICH THEY KNOW HAS PROBLEMS. I CALLED AROUND TO AUTO STORES AND YOU CAN NOT BUY THE PART AND DO IT YOURSELF - YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE DEALERSHIP FIX IT. GM SHOULD PUT THIS PART ON THE RECALL BECAUSE IT OBVIOUSLY IS DOING THE SAME THING THEY RECALLED THE TORQUE SENSOR ON. PLEASE HELP!!!
I OWN A 4 DOOR SEDAN G6 WITH POWER DOOR LOCKS - THE LEFT REAR POWER DOOR LOCK HAS QUIT CAUSING ME TO HAVE TO REACH ACROSS THE SEAT TO LOCK / UNLOCK THE DOOR = NOT IDEAL IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT. MY INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT IS CLICKING AND GRINDING INSIDE THE COLUMN AND THE HEADLIGHT WIRING HARNESS CONTINUES TO MELT CAUSING THE HEADLIGHT TO GO DIM = ALL OF THESE SAFETY AND FIRE HAZARDS NEED RECALL. *TR

POWER STEERING FAILED NUMEROUS TIMES, INTERMITTENTLY, CAUSING DRIVER TO USE A GREAT DEAL OF FORCE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE CAR. IN SEEKING REPAIR AT GM DEALER, WAS TOLD MY CAR NOT ONE COVERED BY STEERING RECALL, THOUGH MY PROBLEM BEARS A STRIKING RESEMBLANCE TO THOSE OF THE COVERED VEHICLES. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE REPAIRS WERE MADE TO THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. TOOK MY CAR TO YATES IN GOODYEAR AZ FOR RECALL REPAIRS. WHEN PICKED UP MY CAR MY STEERING WHEEL WAS SO LOOSE AND I THEY SAID ITS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. INSISTED IT WAS LIKE THAT ALREADY NOT ONLY WAS MY STEERING MESSED UP MY BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD NOT GO OFF. ALSO MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND CAR WILL NOT GO INTO GEAR. THE SERVICE MEN THERE WERE LAUGHING AT MY FRUSTRATION FOR HAVE NO MONEY TO FIX ALL THE PROBLEMS THEY CREATED. *TR

I HAVE CHANGED MYDRIVER SIDE HEAD LIGHT 3 TIMES SINCE DECEMBER, EVERYTIME IT'S CHANGED IT BLOWS WITHIN 3DAYS. ON MY ATTEMPT TO CHANGE IT TODAY 7/24/15, I NOTICED THE WIRE HARNESS IS MELTED.WHILE RESEARCHING PARTS AND COST FOR REPAIR I NOTICED A LOT OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE DRIVERSIDE HEAD LIGHT WIRE HARNESS MELTING. I WILL DEFINITELY HAVE TO GET IT REPLACED, IM SURE ITS A FIRE HAZZARD AND I WOULD HATE TO BE DRIVING AND MY CAR CATCH FIRE WITH MY BABIES AND I IN THE CAR.
TOOK CAR IN TO BE SERVICED FOR RECALLS. 14118 ELECTRICAL POWER STEERING ASSIST, 13036 BRAKE LAMP MALFUNCTION, 12106 SHIFT LEVER INDICATOR MAY NOT DISPLAY CORRECT.ALL ON SATURDAY. FOUGHT TO GET WHEEL TO TURN WENT BACK TO DEALERSHIP EXPLAINED WHAT HAPPENED. I WAS TOLD THEY FORGOT TO CALIBRATE. I WAS TOLD PROBLEM FIXED. POWER STEERING LIGHT CAME BACK ON, CHIME, STEERING WHEEL LOCK HARD TO TURN. I CALLED GM (PONTIAC) CUSTOMER SERVICE. DAYS. DEALERSHIP STATED THEY HAVE NOW REPLACED PARTS AGAIN. NOW THEY CAN'T TURN OFF LIGHT STILL. I WAS TOLD HEY CAN RUN A DIAGNOSTIC TEST FOR $100.00. I WAS TOLD I NOW NEED STEERING COLUMN REPLACED FOR $600.00. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER TO BE REPAIRED ACCORDING TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V252000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL, EXTERIOR LIGHTING, SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
AT TIMES IM NOT ABLE TO GO OVER 15 MPH, OR THE ENGINE WILL SEND A READ OUT ON THE RADIO THAT STATES " ENGINE REDUCING POWER", THEN THE TRACTION WILL STATE (ON THE RADIO) THAT THE TRACTION HAS TURNED OFF AND THE LIGHT COMES ON, ALSO THE POWERSTEERING NOTIFICATION APPEARS ON THE RADIO AND THE CAR IS NOT ABEL TO BE STEERED. THE ENGINE WILL NO ALLOW ME TO GIVE THE CAR GAS TO ACCELERATE, AND THE ENGINE WILL JERK, THE RPMS WILL GO UP AND DOWN BY ITSELF I CALLED THE PONTIAC NUMBER FOR HELP THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NOT A RECAL OPEN FOR MY CAR AND THEY THEY WERE NOT ABEL TO DO ANYTHING FOR ME VERY RUDELY. *JS
CAR IS A 2008 PONTIAC G6 GXP - THE CAR IS CALLED CYBIL DUE TO IT'S ISSUES GOING ON ONE DAY AND NOT THE NEXT. I BOUGHT THE CAR BRAND NEW WITH 128 MILES ON IT. LATEST ACTIVITY IS THE ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON AND THE RADIO SCREEN SCROLLING LOW ENGINE POWER AND SERVICE ESC. IF YOU TURNED THE CAR OFF THEN BACK ON A FEW MINUTES LATER IT WOULD SEEM TO RUN RIGHT, ENGINE LIGHT WOULD STAY ON AND 3 CYCLES LATER GO OFF. ONCE OFF IT WOULD STALL AND LIGHTS AND MESSAGES WOULD GO OFF AGAIN. THIS HAPPENED FOR 10 DAYS IN A ROW AND ON THE 10TH DAY THE CAR STALLED OUT COMPLETELY ON BUSY MAIN ROAD IN THE MIDDLE OF RUSH HOUR. MANAGED TO GET THE CAR STARTED, MOVED OFF THE ROAD, AND TOWED TO A CERTIFIED DEALER. DEALER TOOK 3 HOURS ($360) TO RUN DIAGNOSTICS ON THE CAR DUE TO GENERIC CODE OF P0651 SHOWING UP. AT TIME DEALER MOVED THE CAR INTO THEIR FACILITY ALL THE WARNINGS AND LIGHTS HAD ALREADY RESET AND DIDN'T PRESENT THEMSELVES. DIAGNOSTICS SHOWED HISTORY CODES FOR THE BRAKE PEDDLE SENSOR (WHICH HAS GONE OFF BEFORE AND WAS AN ISSUE BEFORE THE RECALL NOTICE AND OTHER $$ SPENT FIGURING OUT WHY TAIL LIGHTS WENT ON AND OFF AT THEIR OWN WILL) OTHER WAS CAM SHAFT SENSOR (WHICH I SEE OTHER COMPLAINTS ON) AND THROTTLE BODY SENSOR WHICH I SEE NO COMPLAINTS ON. THERE ARE SERVICE BULLETINS FOR THE CAM SHAFT SENSOR FOR THE 2.2 AND 2.4, BUT NOT THE HIGH FEATURE L7Y - THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND IF GM KNOWS THE SENSORS ARE SHIFTING AND PUSHING INTO SOMETHING THIS NEEDS TO BE RECALLED TO FIX. I AM LUCKY I WASN'T ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN ONE OF THESE STALLING ISSUES HAPPENED. CAR IS CURRENTLY AT DEALER WAITING ON PARTS TO ARRIVE TO THE TUNE OF $700 - NO CHRISTMAS THANKS TO GM. THE BRAKE PEDDLE SENSOR SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE RECALL FOR THE TAIL LIGHTS AND IT IS NOT. PLEASE OPEN AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE CAM SENSOR ISSUE AND MAKE THEM EXTEND THE BRAKE LIGHT RECALL TO INCLUDE THE PEDDLE SENSOR! *TR
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THE HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY WIRING HARNESS AND CONNECTOR HAS MELTED. A YEAR OR SO AGO THE PASSENGER SIDE HARNESS MELTED AND NOW, THE DRIVERS SIDE HAS MELTED. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THIS BEING A POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD, IF PARTS ARE BEING MELTED. THE STEERING WHEEL WAS ADJUSTED AND TIGHTENED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52,500.
NOVEMBER 6 2014 I PURCHASED A 2008 PONTIAC G6 I HAD A SCHEDULED VISIT TO REPAIR A CRACKED GAUGE CLUSTER, A SEAT REPAIR AND REPAIR OF MY ADJUSTABLE PEDALS WHILE ON THE WAY TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIRS I NOTICED A HESITATION IN MY TRANSMISSION WHEN SHIFTING FROM 1ST TO 2ND. I NOTIFIED THE SERVICE WRITER OF THAT HAPPENING AND SHE SAID THEY WOULD LOOK INTO IT. I WAS GIVEN A 3 MONTH 3000 MILE WARRANTY THAT SAID NOTHING ABOUT WHO WOULD PAY FOR ANY REPAIRS. IT WAS IN SERVICE AT LEAST A WEEK. THEY CALL AND SAY IT.S READY AND I PICK IT UP IT DRIVES FINE FOR 8 DAYS AND THE ELECTRONICS STOP WORKING ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS ARE ON ABS, TRACTION CONTROL THE ODOMETER READ THE WORD ERROR AND MY TRANSMISSION WOULDN'T SHIFT RIGHT. I DROVE IT RIGHT BACK AND THEY TOOK IT IN FOR REPAIR. THIS TIME THEY HAVE IT FOR 2 WEEKS ( I HAVE THE PAPERWORK TO PROVE THIS ). THEY FINALLY CALL AND TELL ME IT'S READY I PICK IT UP NO CHARGE AGAIN AND IT DRIVES FINE FOR 4 DAYS.SAME ELECTRONIC PROBLEM HAPPENS AGAIN.AND NOW IT WON'T START. I HAVE IT TOWED IN THEY HAVE IT FOR ANOTHER 6 DAY. THEY CALL SAY IT'S FIXED I PICK IT UP IT DRIVES FINE FOR A COUPLE DAYS AND IT AGAIN ALL WARNING LIGHTS ON WON'T SHIFT RIGHT TRACTION CONTROL NOT WORKING AND THE ODOMETER READS ERROR AGAIN. THEY CALL ME TELL ME IT'S FIXED FOR THE 5TH TIME I GO PICK IT UP 6 DAYS LATER THE TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING I BRING IT IN THEY TELL ME IT NEEDS A REBUILD FAR $2357.00 AND BECAUSE IT IS A DIFFERENT PROBLEM I HAVE TO PAY HALF OF THE PRICE. I WAS TOLD BY A SAE CERTIFIED MASTER MECHANIC THAT MULTIPLE COMPUTER FAILURES MAY HAVE PREMATURELY CAUSE THE INTERNAL HARD PARTS OF THE TRANSMISSION TO FAIL IT HAS 60,820 MILES ON IT WELL UNDER GM MILEAGE WARRANTY. CALLED GM THEY SIDE WITH THE DEALER
THE SERVICE ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL (ESC) AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT ILLUMINATES FREQUENTLY. AT LOW SPEED SOMETHING HAPPENS THAT CAUSES STEERING TO BE DIFFICULT. WE HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE IN FOR A RECENT RECALL THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. THE DEALER WANTS APPROXIMATELY $350 TO REPLACE THE ELECTRONIC STEERING CONTROL MODULAR. MY RESEARCH INDICATES THAT THIS ITEM IS A RECALL ITEM BUT THE DEALER DISAGREES. *TR
