ON MARCH 1, 2017, WHILE DRIVING DOWN LA VITA PASS, ON HWY 160 EAST, IN COLORADO, THE ROADS WERE SOLID ICE. I TRIED TO BREAK LIGHTLY, IN A TOUCH, RELEASE, METHOD, BUT THE SENSOR ON THE DASH STATED (NO TRACTION), AND WOULD LOCK THE BREAKS, DURING THE LIGHT APPLIED PRESSURE ON THE BREAKS, CAUSING ME TO SLIDE A BIT. I HIT A VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME, (SPEED APROX. 35MPH) CAUSING ME TO SPIN INTO ON COMING TRAFFIC, GOING WEST BOUND. MY VEHICLE WAS STRUCK IN THE FRONT, AND BACK, MY AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED. WANTING TO REPORT: BREAK PROBLEM WITH MY VEHICLE, AND NON-DEPLOYMENT OF AIR BAGS. (CAN NOT SEND YOU PICTURES AS YOU ONLY ALLOW 5MB FILES, AND I GUESS, MY PICS ARE LARGER, AND THEY WILL NOT LET ME SEND THEM TO YOU.)
THAT WHEN I BROUGHT THE CAR SEAT IT DIDN'T FIT IN THE CAR TRIEDBTO ADJEST THE BEALTS BUT DIDN'T WORK THE WHOLE CAR SEAT FELL APART.
MY DAUGHTER AND I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. WE WERE GOING 40-45 MPH, WHEN WE STRUCK TWO TREES. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. WE HIT RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF THE CAR, RIGHT AT THE AIRBAG SENSORS.

THE CONSUMERS WIFE WAS STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT WHEN A SUV CRASHED INTO THE BACK OF HER VEHICLE, THE TRUNK WAS PUSHED ALL THE WAY TO THE DRIVERS SEAT, THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND THE VEHICLE WAS KNOCKED INTO A STREET SIGN POLE AND A FIRE HYDRANT, THE CONSUMERS WIFE WAS KILLED IN THE ACCIDENT, CONSUMER STATED THE FRONT AND REAR TIRES WERE CUT WHEN THEY HIT THE SMOOTH EDGED CURB AND HE FELT THE TIRES DID NOT WITHSTAND HITTING THE CURB, NO SPECIFIC TIRE INFORMATION WAS GIVEN. *SLC *SCC *JB
THE CONSUMER IS REPORTING THAT THE 2001 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX IS AN UNSAFE VEHICLE, WHICH CAUSED THE DEATH OF HIS WIFE, WHERE THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, AND A TRUNK THAT WAS PUSHED ALL THE WAY TO THE DRIVERS SEAT. IT APPEARS THAT THE PASSENGER IN THE BACK HAD NO CHANCE OF SURVIVING BECAUSE OF THE FRAGILE STRUCTURE OF THE VEHICLE . TO THE CONSUMER IT SEEMED THAT THE DEALERSHIPS ARE LONGER WORRYING ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THE VEHICLE BUT HOW IT LOOKS. PLEASE INVESTIGATE ON QUALITY AND PROTECTION OF THE VEHICLE. *CB UPDATED *JB
