PICKUP WILL NOT START DUE TO THE IGNITION. I HAVE TO JIGGLE (BACK AND FORTH OR IN/OUT) THE KEY TO GET IT TO TURN OVER BUT WILL ONLY START 1 OUT OF 3 TIMES SEEMS LIKE ENGINE IS NOT GETTING ANY FUEL BUT CAN HEAR THE FUEL PUMP CYCLE ALSO ALERTS WILL RANDOMLY DISPLAY WHEN VEHICLE IS ON. TIRE INFLATION ALERT STAYS ON ALL THE TIME BUT ALL TIRES ARE AIRED UP TO SPECS ALSO SEVERAL OTHER ALERTS DISPLAY PART OF THE TIME.
MY TRUCK HAD 34,754 MILES WHEN I WAS TOLD BOTH OUTTER TIE ROD ENDS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AS WELL AS THE LEFT STRUT. I FIND THESE PARTS FAILING THIS EARLY TO BE UNACCEPTABLE. CHRYSLER/RAM REFUSED TO RESPOND TO MY OFFICIAL WRITTEN COMPLAINT LETTER. I REQUESTED A REVIEW AS I FEEL MY TRUCK WAS BUILD WITH DEFECTIVE STEERING PARTS. AS CHRYSLER REFUSES TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE I WOULD LIKE THE NHTSA TO REVIEW THIS SITUATION.
FOR TWO WEEKS THE TRUCK TAKE 4 TO 7 TRIES TO START THE ENGINE. IT HAS SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING. NOW THE FUEL PUMP IS STUCK ON WHILE THE KEY IS REMOVED FROM THE TRUCK KILLING THE BATTERY. HAD TO REMOVE THE FUEL PUMP FUSE TO TURN OFF THE FUEL PUMP WHILE THE KEY IS REMOVED FROM THE TRUCK.
TIPM MODULE FAILED. ALMOST GOT KILLED BECAUSE OF IT. CAR STALLED ON ROADWAY CAR ALMOST REAR ENDED ME!!! I HEARD THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT ALREADY FILED BUT DO NOT KNOW IF MY CAR IS COVERED. IT HAS THE SAME TIPM MODULE IN IT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING WARMED UP, AN ABNORMAL NOISE COULD BE HEARD FROM THE ENGINE. THE FAILURE WAS PERSISTENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE PARKING, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT FUMES OF SMOKE WERE COMING FROM THE HOOD. THE CONTACT OPENED THE HOOD AND DISCOVERED THAT AN UNKNOWN HOSE WAS SPRAYING LIQUID ONTO THE SERPENTINE BELT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V475000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 77,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS REGARDING THE FAILURE. THE DEALER RESET THE SYSTEM, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CALLED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE'S WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 50,000.
FUEL PUMP RELAY WENT OUT WHILE DRIVING.
HEADLIGHTS ARE NOT NORMAL BRIGHTNESS (COMPARED TO ANY OTHER VEHICLE I HAVE EVER DRIVEN) AND INEFFECTIVE FOR NIGHT DRIVING. CRUISE CONTROL WORKS AND DISCONNECTS AT WILL. HORN SIGNALS AT WILL WITHOUT NOTICE AND EVEN WHEN VEHICLE IS OFF WITH KEYS REMOVED. CAUSES GREAT AND FRIGHTENING REACTION OF THIS DRIVER AS WELL AS THOSE AROUND ME.
THE VEHICLE HAS A BAD TIPM, THE FUEL PUMP RELAY DOES NOT WORK AND THE VEHICLE WILL NOT START AT ALL NOW. THE FIRST INCIDENT OCCURED AS I MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN ACROSS ONCOMING TRAFFIC. THE VEHICLE STUTTERED AND STALLED. IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS IT WOULD TAKE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO START THE VEHICLE. NOW IT WILL NOT START AT ALL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT WAS EVENTUALLY ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE OR REPAIR THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, THE TIPM WAS NOT SENDING A SIGNAL TO THE FUEL PUMP. FAILS TO START, FUEL PUMP SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING CAUSING TRUCK TO STALL MULTIPLE TIMES ON CITY STREETS TO AND FROM WORK AND ON THE HIGHWAY 2X DRIVING TO VISIT RELATIVES, TIPM NOT SENDING SIGNAL TO THE FUEL RELAY, HAD 4 MECHANICS INCLUDING 2 CHRYSLER SERVICE SHOPS TO FINALLY DIAGNOSE THE TIPM FAILURE, WILL HAVE FURTHER DOCUMENTATION UPON REPLACEMENT OF TIPM FROM CHRYSLER DEALER.
IN THE PARKING LOT OF MY APARTMENT COMPLEX MY TRUCK WOULD TRY TO START, BUT DO NOTHING BUT CRANK. I THOUGHT MY FUEL PUMP WAS OUT SO I REPLACED IT. THE TRUCK WAS STILL HAVING PROBLEMS STARTING. I NOTICED THAT SOMETIMES I WOULD HEAR THE FUEL PUMP COME ON AND SOMETIMES NOT SO $260 DOLLARS LATER I STILL HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. AFTER DOING SOME ADDITIONAL RESEARCH AND ACTUAL TESTS I FOUND OUT THAT A RELAY ON THE TIPM IS MALFUNCTIONING. IT IS AA $5 DOLLAR RELAY ON A $1200 DOLLAR PART THAT IS NOT COVERED BY WARRENTY AND CANNOT BE EASILY REPLACED. DODGE IS CURRENTLY UNDER SUIT FOR THE FAULTY TIPM'S.
AT FIRST MY TRUCK STARTED TAKING LONGER AND LONGER TO ACTUALLY START. IT WOULD TURN OVER BUT ONLY RUN AT 200 RPM AND DIE OUT. THIS PROBLEM WAS SPORADIC AND SEEMED TO BE WORSE AFTER THE TRUCK HAD NOT BEEN STARTED FOR 12 HOURS. EVENTUALLY THE PROBLEM WENT FROM OCCASIONAL TO WEEKLY AND DAILY. THERE WAS NO DASH LIGHTS INDICATION AN ISSUE. MY TRUCK STALLED TWICE ON ME WHILE DRIVING TO WORK . EACH TIME THE VEHICLE STALLED I WOULD SIT IN THE STREET, LUCKILY NO ONE WAS BEHIND ME AND THAT I WAS NOT IN A TURN. WHEN THE VEHICLE DIED I WOULD LOSE ALL POWER STEERING. I DROVE DIRECTLY TO A MECHANIC. HE CHECKED IT AND SAW NO MAJOR ISSUES, STATING THAT ALL OF THE READINGS WERE NORMAL WHEN CHECKED. WE DECIDED TO CHANGE MY SPARK PLUGS AND FLUSH THE FUEL SYSTEM IN AN ATTEMPT TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. DROVE GREAT AFTER THE WORK. THE NEXT MORNING IT DID NOT START, BACK TO MECHANIC AGAIN, WAS TOLD TO LEAVE THE KEY TURNED TO ON POSITION TO HELP THE FUEL PUMP PRIME/ ALL READINGS WERE NORMAL. ISSUE PERSISTED. LEFT TRUCK AT MECHANIC THIRD TIME WHILE OUT OF TOWN FOR THE WEEK SO HE COULD TAKE READINGS AFTER THE TRUCK SAT, SINCE THAT WAS WHEN THE ISSUE HAPPENED. AGAIN THE MECHANIC WAS NOT CONFIDENT OF WHAT WAS CAUSING THE ISSUE SINCE THERE WAS NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. THE PROBLEM GOT WORSE, IT WAS TAKING ME OVER 45 MINUTES TO START TRUCK EACH DAY, IT WOULD CRANK BUT NOT START. THEN IM STARTED NOTICING MY BATTERY WAS DEAD ON MANY MORNINGS. I THOUGHT IT WAS DUE TO HOW LONG I WAS CRANKING TO START, UNTIL ONE DAY WHEN I HAPPENED TO WALK BY MY TRUCK AND HEAR A HUMMING SOUND. I WENT UNDERNEATH AND COULD TELL IT WAS THE FUEL PUMP. I UNPLUGGED THE FUSE FOR THE FUEL PUMP AND THE HUMMING STOPPED. FOR NOW I JUST UNPLUG THE FUSE EVERY TIME I STOP TO KEEP THE PUMP FROM DRAWING DOWN MY BATTERY. CONTACTED LOCAL DODGE DEALER AND WAS QUOTED $1200.OO TO REPLACE TIPM.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD THE TRUCK STALLED AND IGNITION SYSTEMS WENT DEAD. HAD SEVERAL ISSUES DAYS PRIOR TO INCIDENT WHERE BATTERY WAS DEAD, STARTING VEHICLE PROBLEMS AND STALLING REPEATEDLY. DEALER HAD TO RELPACE TIPM $1280.74. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE NO CURRENT RECALLS ON THIS PART, CONTRARY TO ONLINE INFORMATION.
WHEN I FIRST PURCHASED THE RAM TRUCK IT WOULD SUDDENLY DIE, I WOULD NEED TO TURN THE IGNITION ALL THE WAY OFF AND IT WOULD RESTART WITH NO PROBLEM. I WORKED FOR THE DEALER I PURCHASED IT FROM AND THEY FOUND NO STORED CODES IN THE ONBOARD DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. THIS OCCURRED ABOUT FIVE TIMES AND EACH TIME NOTHING WAS FOUND. IT STOPPED AND HAS NOT RE-OCCURRED IN ALMOST 20,000 MILES. IN AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER OF THIS YEAR THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY WENT INTO A HIGH ENGINE REV FOR NO APPARENT REASON (LIKE I WAS PUSHING THE GAS PEDAL BUT I WAS NOT). EACH TIME THIS OCCURRED, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ACCELLERATE AND I PUT IT INTO NEUTRAL, I PULLED OFF THE ROAD AND TURNED OF THE VEHICLE AND RESTARTED IT NORMALLY. IT FUNCTIONED NORMALLY AFTER RESTART. I TOOK IT TO A DEALER IN JEFFERSON WISCONSIN WHO CHECKED FOR CODES AND FOUND NOTHING STORED IN THE COMPUTER.
TIPM (TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE)
VEHICLE STEERING COLUMN BEGAN TO VIOLENTLY SHAKE AS I WAS DRIVING FROM MY HOME.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY WOULD NOT START. WHEN IT WOULD START, THE VEHICLE WOULD TAKE APPROXIMATELY 20-40 MINUTES TO START. THE FAILURE HAPPENED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE FAILURE WAS DIAGNOSED AGAIN AS THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 81,000.
TIPM FAILED !!!!! WHILE I WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE JUST SHUT DOWN. WONT START.
THE TRUCK WOULD NOT START AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS IT WAS TOWED TO A REPAIR FACILITY WHERE IT WAS TROUBLESHOT FOR 8 HOURS. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THERE WAS A FAULT IN THE TIPM MODULE CAUSING INTERMITTANT POWER TO THE FUEL PUMP, HOWEVER, BEFORE A NEW TIPM COULD BE INSTALLED, THE FAULT SEEMED TO SELF-RESOLVE AND THE TRUCK ONCE AGAIN BEGAN TO WORK. NOW UNSURE IF/WHEN THE TIPM WILL ONCE AGAIN MISFIRE.
THE FUEL PUMP RELAY IS BAD. THE FUEL PUMP KEEPS RUNNING WHEN TRUCK IS SHUT OFF WHICH RUNS DOWN THE BATTERY. THE TIPM NEEDS REPLACED BUT THERE IS A BACKORDER ON THE PART.
DIVING THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS ON A VERY DARK NIGHT AND BOTH HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT AT THE SAME TIME. I COULD NOT SEE ANYTHING. THANK GOD MY TAIL LIGHTS AND HAZARD LIGHTS STILL WORKED OR I MAY HAVE HAD SOMEONE RUN INTO THE BACK OF MY CAR. I WAS ALSO FORTUNATE TO HAVE A CAR STOP AND HELP. I FOLLOWED THIS GENTLEMAN THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS USING HIS HEAD LIGHTS AND SIMPLY FOCUSED ON HIS TAIL LIGHT. THE NEXT MORNING, I STARTED MY CAR AND BOTH LIGHTS WERE WORKING AGAIN WITHOUT ANYTHING BEING DONE. NOW I HAVE THE LEFT LIGHT THAT IS NOT WORKING AND SUSPECT THAT IT WILL ALSO COME BACK ON WHENEVER IT WANTS TO. THIS IS AN EXTREME SAFETY ISSUE THAT MAY CAUSE SOME TO RUN OFF OF THE ROAD DUE TO NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE. PLEASE ASSIST.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF FUEL. THE FUEL TANK WAS REPLENISHED AND THE VEHICLE RESTARTED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIPM MODULE WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP RELAY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED AS THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CONTROL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V530000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52,885. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

WHEN PULLING OUT OF BUSINESS DRIVEWAY ONTO BUSY RD., TRUCK JUST DIED IN MIDDLE OF ROAD. HAD TO GET TOW TO SHOP AND HAD FUEL PUMP REPLACED. FUEL PUMPS DON'T JUST GO OUT AT 30,000 MILES ALL AT ONCE BUT, THIS ONE DID AND I WAS TOLD THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM ON THESE TRUCKS. SITTING CROSSWAYS IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY ROAD IS DEFINITELY UNSAFE! THANK THE GOOD LORD FOR THE GOOD SAMARITANS WHO HELPED ME PUSH IT OUT OF THE ROAD, I AM 68 YRS OLD AND NOT IN THE BEST OF HEALTH.

AS A RESULT, THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO MOVE FORWARD. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 23,000.
VEHICLE IS VERY LOSE FEELS LIKE IT WOULD VERY EASILY SWAY OUT OF CONTROL. THE VEHICLE FALLS UNDER THE MANUFACTURED DATE FOR RECALLS OF STEERING COLUMN AND REAR AXLE ISSUES BUT ACCORDING TO MY DEALER AND CHRYSLER'S WEBSITE MY VIN IS NOT LISTED. FORGIVE ME IF I DON'T TRUST THEM. HOW DO I GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY SUSPENSION AND THERE ARE MANY MORE POSTS OF THIS SAME ISSUE AT HIGHER SPEEDS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO VIBRATE AND ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS ON THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE AIR CONDITIONER STOPPED WORKING AND THE VEHICLE DECELERATED TO 5 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO BE RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 32,000.
I HAD THE PINION NUT RECALL DONE IN 2014 AND ON 8/5/2015 THE NUT COME LOOSE AGAIN CALLED RAM ABOUT THE BUY BACK AND THEY TOLD ME THAT MY TRUCK WAS NOT A BUY BACK TRUCK BECAUSE IT WAS FIX AND I ASK WHY IT CAN LOOSE AGAIN AND THE DRIVE SHAFT JUST ABOUT FAIL OFF AND JOHN AT RAM SAID NOT IT IS NOT A BUY BACK TRUCK SO WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH THIS TRUCK I DONT THINK IT IS A SAFE VEHICLE FOR THE ROAD TO GET SOMEBODY KILLED

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PINION NUT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
THE VEHICLE'S TIPM SYSTEM STOPPED WORKED AND THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. IT WAS REPAIRED AND THIS ISSUE HAS PLAGUED OTHER CHYSLER PRODUCTS. CHRYSLER REFUSED TO OFFER ASSISTANCE IN THE REPAIR.
AFTER LEARNING ABOUT THE MASSIVE RECALL/BUY-BACK OF RAM 1500 TRUCKS DUE TO STEERING COLUMN AND REAR AXLE ISSUES, I CALLED MY RAM DEALER IMMEDIATELY. DEALERSHIP STATED THAT THEY NEVER HEARD OF THE $105M RECALL AFFECTING NEARLY 1.5M VEHICLES AND DIRECTED ME TO CALL CHRYSLER CORPORATION. I CALLED SEVERAL OTHER RAM DEALERSHIPS AND THEY STATED THE SAME--CALL CHRYSLER DIRECTLY. CALLED CHRYSLER CORP AND GOT A BUSY SIGNAL. TRIED A DIFFERENT NUMBER AND GOT DISCONNECTED. CALLED A THIRD NUMBER AND GOT DISCONNECTED AGAIN. CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND GOT THE SAME WITH ALL 3 TELEPHONE NUMBERS. I EVEN TRIED TO LOOK UP ANY RECALL INFO ON CHRYSLER'S WEB SITE USING MY VIN, BUT CHRYSLER'S WEB SITE SHOWED ZERO RECALLS FOR MY RAM 1500. TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2011 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE CONTACT HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE THAT TURNED IN FRONT OF HIM. THE IMPACT SENT THE CONSUMER OFF THE ROAD, DOWN AN EMBANKMENT AND HE ULTIMATELY HIT A TREE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. ONE PASSENGER SUSTAINED CRACKED RIBS AND A CONCUSSION. THE OTHER PASSENGER SUSTAINED BRUISED RIBS. BOTH PASSENGERS REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. RAM BUYBACK CASE HANDED DOWN IN JULY OF 2015. I BELIEVE MY VEHICLE IS AFFECTED IN THIS BUYBACK PROGRAM. FRONT SUSPENSION, STEERING, AND REAR AXLE ARE AFFECTED.
I WAS SITTING AT AN ENTRANCE NOT MOVING WHEN A CNN RAIL REPAIR TRUCK JUMPED THE CURB RAN INTO MY DRIVER SIDE FRONT FENDER AND TORE HALF FRONT END PARTS OFF SPUN ME 180 HIT REAR DRIVER SIDE PANEL ON SOME STEEL POSTS WAS INJURED BROKEN COLLAR BONE BROKEN RIBS HIT HEAD OFF DRIVER SIDE WINDOW HAVE WIPLASH NO AIR BAGS WENT OFF AT ALL IN MY TRUCK
WE WERE TRAVELING HOME JULY 18TH ON THE INTERSTATE WHEN THE TRUCK STARTED SHAKING AND HE TRIED TO GET OFF THE INTERSTATE ON AN EXIT. THE STEARING MESSED UP AND HE LIKE TO HAVE NOT GOT IT STOPPED BEFORE WE WERE RUNNING OUT OF RAMP. IT' WAS LIGHT NOT HAVING CONTROL OF THE WHEEL OR BRAKES. WHEN WE GOT STOPPED HE OPENED THE HOOD TO SEE IF HE COULD SEE A PROBLEM THERE. HE ALSO WALKED AROUNG THE ENTIRE TRUCK CHECKING TIRES. WE FINALLY DECIDED TO TRY IT AGAIN. WE WERE THEN ONLY ABOUT 60 MILES FROM HOME. WE DROVE SLOWER THE REST OF THE WAY BECAUSE THAT WAS A VERY SCARY THING TO HAVE HAPPEN. OUR GRANDDAUGHTER HAD SOFTBALL PRACTICE WED. NIGHT IN KNOXVILLE TENN. IT WASN'T AS BAD AS AS THE 18TH BUT IT DONE IT A FEW TIMES ON US AGAIN. WE HAUL PRESIOUS CARGO , OUR GRANDDAUGHTERS, IT SCARES US TO DEATH DRIVING WITH THEM IN THA TRUCK. I TALED TO CHRYSLER 3 DAYS AGO AND SHE TOLD ME I WOULD GET AN EMAIL IN A DAY OR 2. SHE ALSO HAS US AN APPOINTMENT TO GET THE BOLT PUT ON ON AUGUST 17TH. BUT OUR CONCERNS ARE IT MAY HAVE MORE DAMAGE BECAUSE OF THE BRAKES AND STEERING DOING THIS. WE ONLY BOUGHT THIS TRUCK ON APRIL 19TH 2015. THE RECALLS ARE FROM 2013. WHY WEREN'T THEY FIXED THEN? THE TRUCK HAD NOT EVEN TURNED OVER 50,00 MILES WHEN WE BOUGHT IT. WE BOUGHT IT BECAUSE IT HAD LOW MILES AND WE WANT A SAFE VEHICLE TO TRAVEL TO HER GAMES AND PRACTICES. NOW WE ARE AFRAID THAT SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN AND THEY MIGHT GET HURT. I TRIED TO CALL THEM AGAIN TODAY, JULY 31ST I WAS ON HOLD FOR OVER 4 HRS.NEVER DID GET A REAL PERSON TO ANSWER.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE THE POWER STEERING PUMP, WATER PUMP, AND RADIATOR WERE REPLACED. IN ADDITION, THE SERPENTINE BELT AND OTHER ATTACHING COMPONENTS WERE REPLACED. ON A SEPARATE OCCASION, ONE OF THE REAR PASSENGER TIRES COMPLETELY DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE WHILE DRIVING. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
VEHICLE LOST POWER IN TRAFFIC, UNABLE TO USE HAZARD LIGHTS. TOWED TO MECHANIC INFORMED THE TIPM NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THIS TIES IN WITH AN EARLIER REPAIR INVOLVING THE FUEL PUMP THAT WAS CONTINUOUSLY RUNNING.

I HAVE A 2011 RAM 1500 BIG HORN 4X4 WITH THE 5.7 HEMI MOTOR. PRIOR TO DATE MENTIONED I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING TROUBLE STARTING IT. ON THE DATE SPECIFIED I WAS DRIVING 70 MPH ON HIGHWAY WHEN MOTOR DIED AND LOST CONTROL OF VEHICLE. ALMOST CAUSING A MAJOR ACCIDENT WITH THE MOTORISTS AROUND ME. I ALSO NEARLY AVOIDED AN OVERPASS AND ALMOST WAS REAR ENDED. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP TO CHECK AND WAS TOLD WAS FUEL PUMP. I REFUSED SERVICE DUE TO EXCESSIVE COST TO REPLACE. I DID MY OWN TEST AND FOUND MY FUEL PUMP RELAY TO BE DEFECTIVE WITCH CANNOT BE REPLACED BECAUSE IT IS PART OF THE TIPM. CHRYSLER WILL NOT REPLACE

AT INTERSTATE SPEEDS TRUCK HAS VIBRATION. THOUGHT MAYBE RIM HAD LOST COUNTER WEIGHT. NOT THE CASE AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH. I BELIEVE CHRYSLER HAS NOT DONE ALL HOMEWORK ON THE LATEST RECALL WHICH I HAD KNOWN NOTHING ABOUT UNTIL THIS BIG ISSUE WITH THE BUYBACK. OF COURSE MY TRUCK HAS NO RECALLS WHAT SO EVER. MY TRUCK WAS MANUFACTURED IN MARCH 2011. FROM WHAT I HAVE READ RECALL COVERS TRUCKS MANUFACTURED THROUGH DECEMBER 2011. NOT SURE THAT MY TRUCK HAS PINION NUT ISSUES BUT SOUNDS LIKE THE SYMPTOMS. ANYONE OTHER OWNERS RUNNING INTO THIS?
WHILE DRIVING MY PICKUP TRUCK AT A SPEED OF 30-35 MPH, THE POWER TURNED OFF AND THE SPEED DECREASED AT A FAST RATE. LUCKILY, I WAS ABLE TO PULL INTO A BUSINESS TO TURN MY IGNITION TO "OFF" AND TURN MY VEHICLE BACK ON. I DID NOT HAVE ACCESS TO ANY ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT IN MY VEHICLE. THIS HAS HAPPENED FOUR TIMES IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS.
HEADLIGHTS, BOTH LOW BEAM AND HIGH BEAM WENT OUT AND WILL NOT COME BACK ON. BULBS REPLACED, STILL WILL NOT COME ON. TRANSMISSION HAS BEGUN TO SHIFT ERRATICALLY ALTHOUGH VEHICLE IS AT A CONSTANT SPEED.
