TRUCK HAS ECODIESEL ENGINE. HAD IT IN FOR ROUGH IDLE BUT COULD NOT FIND THE CAUSE. AT 42141 MILES DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE EGR VALVE WENT OUT. THIS CAUSED THE TRUCK TO GO INTO LIMP MODE. THIS VALVE WAS NOT COVERED BY THE POWER TRAIN, EMISSIONS OR EXTEND WARRANTY. RAM WOULD NOT HELP EVEN THOUGH HAD IT IN BEFORE

THE DEALER (NEW HOLLAND CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM, 508 W MAIN ST, NEW HOLLAND, PA 17557) INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE SOUND WAS THE "HEMI TICK" AND COULD NOT FIND A FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 19,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE RAM VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. IT BURNED FAST I AM NOT AWARE OF THE CAUSE. I MADE A COMPLAINT TO FIAT WHEN THE FD INFORMED ME THIS WAS THE FIFTH ONE HE HAS PUT OUT IN TWO WEEK TIME FRAME. THEY AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY HAD FIRE INVESTIGATORS COME OUT RULED INCONCLUSIVE. I HAVE SEEN MANY RAM TRUCKS CATCH ON FIRE SINCE THEN. THE TRUCK WAS ON A TWO WAY HWY BACK ROADS IN MOTION WHEN SMOKE WAS NOTICED AND THEN JUST ENGULFED IN FLAMES.

THE CONTACT DEACTIVATED THE TRACTION CONTROL FEATURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SIMI VALLEY CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (2350 FIRST ST, SIMI VALLEY, CA 93065) TO BE DIAGNOSED HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 29,300.

I HAVE MULTIPLE ISSUES BUT THE SCARIEST IS AFTER SETTING THE EMERGENCY BRAKES AND PUTTING MY 2015 RAM 1500 IN PARK MY TRUCK WILL ROLL UP TO 4 FEET. THIS HAPPENS ALMOST EVERY TIME I PUT IT IN PARK. EVERY TIME I PARK IT I WORRY THAT IT WILL ROLL AND HIT A PERSON OR ANOTHER VEHICLE.

THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS NOT RELATED TO THE RECALL. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT A DIAGNOSTIC TEST COULD BE PERFORMED AT A COST. THE CONTACT REQUESTED A LOANER VEHICLE AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE REQUEST WOULD HAVE TO BE ESCALATED, BUT THERE WAS NO SPECIFIC TIME PERIOD FOR A RESPONSE. THE CONTACT INQUIRED ABOUT THE ARRIVAL DATE AND WAS INFORMED THAT IT WAS UNKNOWN. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
I BOUGHT MY 2015 RAM 1500 ON NOVEMBER 27, 2017. THE TRUCK LOOKED AS THOUGH IT HAD BEEN VERY WELL MAINTAINED AND TAKEN CARE OF. THE FIRST OR SECOND WEEK IN DECEMBER A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AS I WAS PULLING IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD. IT TURNED OUT TO BE A FUEL PUMP SENSOR WHICH THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED. NOW AFTER A MONTH AND A HALF LATER, ANOTHER CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS CAME ON WHILE PARKING AT A RESTAURANT. 3 CODES HAVE SHOWN UP FOR THIS CEL. THEY ARE P26AB, P26A7, AND P2681. THESE CODES HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE ENGINE COOLANT BYPASS VALVE CONTROL. AFTER ONLY AN HOUR OF SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY THE FOLLOWING DAY THERE WAS A HUGE RAINBOW COLORED LEAK ON THE ASPHALT AND FLUID SETTLING AND DRIPPING FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE TRANSMISSION. I HAVE TAKEN VERY GOOD CARE OF THIS TRUCK SINCE I PURCHASED IT. IT IS JUST AS CLEAN AS THE DAY I TOOK IT OFF THE LOT. I AM WORRIED THAT THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THIS TRUCK NOW AND THAT THE DEALERSHIP WILL TRY AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME AND THE FACT THAT THE WARRANTY WAS ONLY FOR 30 DAYS BECAUSE WHEN I PURCHASED IT THE VEHICLE WAS USED AND HAD 72000 MILES ON IT. THIS IS MY FIRST DODGE RAM TRUCK I HAVE EVER OWNED AND SO FAR I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE RELIABILITY. I WILL BE TAKING IT TO THE DEALERSHIP ONE DAY THIS WEEK WHEN I CAN GET OFF OF WORK. HOPEFULLY THEY DON'T TRY TO "PULL ONE OVER" ON ME. ATTACHED IS THE LEAK IN MY DRIVEWAY AFTER AN HOUR OF BEING PARKED.
WHEN I PUT MORE THAN 300LBS OF LOAD ON THE BED, DRIVING AT A SPEED GREATER THAN 65 MPH DRIVE OVER A POT HOLE OR SMALL DEEP ON THE ROAD/HIGHWAY THE TRUCK STARTS BOUNCING AROUND, START AT THE RIGHT FRONT SIDE TO REAR LEFT SIDE, TO THE POINT THAT THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE KICKED IN, IT IS SO UNSAFE THAT WE AND MY FAMILY GOT SO SCARE, I THOUGHT THE TRUCK WAS GOING TO ROLL OVER, IT HAS HAPPENED IN MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, VERY VERY UNSAFE. CHECKED THE SHOCK ABSORBERS NOT LEAKING, NO BROKEN COIL SPRINGS, PLEASE LOOK INTO IT. IT IS UNSAFE, PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT BEFORE SOMEONE DIES.

THE DEALER (LYNCH CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM, 282 EAST WOLF RUN, MUKWONAGO, WI 53149) STATED THAT THE VEHICLE DID NOT HAVE A RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALSO CONTACTED AND WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
WHEN BELOW 20 DEGREES THE AIR SUSPENSION LOSES ITS ABILITY TO MAINTAIN PROPER RIDE HEIGHT. SOMETIMES THE TRUCK WILL SIT NOSE DOWN, REAR DOWN, OR ALL BUT ONE CORNER DOWN. USUALLY AFTER SITTING OUTSIDE IN THE COLDER TEMPS IS WHEN THE TRUCK STARTS TO DO THIS HOWEVER ONCE IT HAS DONE SO WHILE MOVING AT APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH. WHEN TRYING TO INFLATE THE AIR BAGS THE TRUCK TYPICALLY BLOWS THE 40A FUSE CONTROLLING THE AIR SUSPENSION WHICH RENDERS IT INOPERABLE UNTIL REPLACED. SEEMS TO BE A WIDE SPREAD PROBLEM IN ANY CLIMATE THAT SEES COLDER TEMPERATURES. BIGGEST ISSUE IS WHAT HAPPENS IF THE SYSTEM GIVES OUT WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SORT OF SPEED.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND OPENED CASE NUMBER: 33357922. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER A WARRANTY OR RECALL. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 70,000.
STEERING TILT CONTROL BROKE , NO PARTS BEING BEING MANUFACTURED . MUST PURCHASE USED COMPLETE STEERING COLUMN JUST BECAUSE A SMALL PLASTIC CLIP BROKE SAFETY HAZARD DUE TO HAVING TO ADJUST THE SEAT TO PROPERLY SEE GAUGES . KNOWN ENGINE PROBLEMS WITH THE 5.7 HEMI ENGINE BEING TAPPETS , VALVE SPRINGS, CAM SHAFT , ALL LOW TO MID MILEAGE ENGINES . VALVE SPRINGS BREAKING AND DROPPING VALVES THAT COULD DESTROY YOUR ENGINE CAUSING TO STALL AND OR LOCKUP AT HIGH SPEED AFFECTING STEERING AND BREAKING WITH THE ENGINE UNABLE TO RUN. THE STEERING ISSUE WAS IN MOTION ON A HIGHWAY. THE TAPPET/LIFTER WAS IN MOTION ALSO ON A HIGHWAY. VEHICLE 2005 147500 MILES. ONLY IMAGES WOULD BE REPAIR BILLS
TRUCK HAD SUDDEN ACCELERATION TWICE AND IT COULDN'T BE STOPPED WITH THE BRAKES EITHER TIME. ONCE IT TOTALLY LOST POWER AND WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE SUDDEN ACCELERATION IS VERY DANGEROUS ' MAKES THE TRUCK MOVE AT A HIGH SPEED SUDDENLY AND UNABLE TO BE STOPPED WITH THE BRAKES. WE DROVE THROUGH TWO FENCES. SAFETY RISKTHE LOSS OF AIR BAG AND SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER DEPLOYMENT CAPABILITY DURING A CRASH MAY INCREASE THE RISK OF INJURY OR DEATH. REMEDYTHE ORC MODULE ON INVOLVED VEHICLES MUST BE REPROGRAMMED WITH NEW SOFTWARE. RECEIVED RECALL LETTER PRIOR TO ACCIDENT FROM DODGE
TRUCK SAYS SERVICE POWER STEERING. TRUCK WILL NOT STEER AND IT'S ELECTRIC POWER STEERING. HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL ENGINE WARMS UP, USING EXCESS GAS. THIS HAPPENS WHEN I START MY RAM 1500. SO FAR, IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET WHILE I'M DRIVING, BUT ONLY TIME WILL TELL. FIAT AND MY DEALER ARE TRYING TO HELP ME. HOWEVER MY BASIC WARRANTY IS UP SO BOTH ARE SAYING IT'S NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. BOTH ALSO SAY THAT MY VIN DOESN'T MATCH ANY EFFECTED 2015 RAM 1500 THAT HAVE THIS PROBLEM.
The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. The contact stated that the driver's side and passenger’s side front headlight bulbs burned out. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the bulbs were replaced, but the failure persisted. The mechanic informed the contact that the wiring harness and the socket had melted. The contact was referred to the dealer. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.
I TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT BEING ON. IT TURNED OUT TO BE A OIL PRESSURE SENSOR. THEY DID AN INSPECTION ON THE TRUCK AND FOUND THE PINION NUT LOOSE AND LEAKING OIL. THEY SAID IT WAS SAFETY RECALL P77 AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. I LOOKED UP P77 RECALL AND IT DID NOT INCLUDE 2015 TRUCKS. I'M CONCERNED ABOUT HOW MAN OTHER PEOPLE MIGHT HAVE THIS PROBLEM THAT COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT.
TAILGATE RANDOMLY OPENS WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION ALLOWING BED CONTENTS TO POTENTIALLY FALL ONTO ROAD CREATING SAFETY HAZARD. APPEARS TO BE CONNECTED TO AUTO-LOCKING MECHANISM IN TAILGATE.
I LIVE IN INTERNATIONAL FALLS, MINNESOTA AND OUR AREA RECENTLY SUSTAINED -30 BELOW FARENHEIT TEMPERATURES FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. DURING THIS COLD WEATHER, THE AIR RIDE SUSPENSION SYSTEM QUIT WORKING AND I CURRENTLY HAVE NO SUSPENSION. I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON IN THE AREA THAT HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH A DODGE RAM 1500 TRUCK WITH AIR RIDE SUSPENSION. I SPOKE WITH ANOTHER MALE ON 1/2/18 THAT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH HIS 2016 DODGE RAM 1500 WITH AIR RIDE SUSPENSION. THIS PROBLEM OCCURRED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS SITTING.
PASSENGER SIDE REAR AXLE SHAFT WEARING PREMATURELY, WHERE THE OUTER AXLE BEARING ROLLS ON THE SHAFT, THE NORMAL, INTACT BEARING IS WEARING A DEEP GROOVE INTO THE SHAFT. APPEARS THAT THE SHAFT IS ABNORMALLY SOFT OR ABNORMAL STEEL MAKEUP. AXLE HAS HAD NORMAL MAINTINANCE, HAS NOT BEEN OVERLOADED, HAS HAD ADEQUATE OIL LEVEL IN AXLE HOUSING ITS WHOLE LIFE, AND THE DRIVER SIDE SHAFT IS NOT WEARING ABNORMALLY
THE TRUCK BED TAILGATE IS HAVING AN ISSUE WITH THE LOCKS. ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS I HAVE HAD THE TRUCK BED OPEN WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON LOCAL HIGHWAYS. IN ADDITION THE BED IS NO LONGER STAYING UNLOCKED WITH THE OTHER LOCKS ON THE VEHICLE OR IT WILL STAY LOCKED WHEN THE REST OF THE TRUCK IS UNLOCKED. I HAVE LOOKED UP THE ISSUE AND FOUND SEVERAL FORUMS WITH SIMILAR SITUATIONS BUT MUCH MORE DANGEROUS RESULTS.
2015 DODGE RAM 2500 MEGA CAB 4X4 PICKUP TRUCK. THE AIRBAG IN A 2015 DODGE RAM 2500 TRUCK FAILED TO DEPLOY AFTER THE TRUCK WAS INVOLVED IN A SEVERE FRONTAL COLLISION. THE TRUCK HAD BEEN SUBJECT TO TWO PREVIOUS NHTSA SAFETY RECALLS CONCERNING AIR BAG RESTRAINT CONTROLS (NHTSA RECALLS #15V-460 & #17V-302) AND BOTH RECALLS HAD BEEN COMPLETED BY THE TRUCK DEALERSHIP. THE TRUCK WAS STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT WHEN IT WAS STRUCK BY ANOTHER VEHICLE RESULTING IN SIGNIFICANT FRONTAL DAMAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS STRUCK WITH ENOUGH FORCE TO DISPLACE THE TRUCK REARWARD APPROXIMATELY 15 FEET. THE AIRBAG RESTRAINT FAILED TO DEPLOY DURING THE COLLISION AND THE IN-DASH MESSAGE SYSTEM IN THE TRUCK DISPLAYED A MESSAGE ABOUT AIRBAG REQUIRING SERVICE AT THE ACCIDENT SCENE. DRIVER REQUIRED AMBULANCE TRANSPORT TO THE HOSPITAL. THE AIRBAGS IN THE OTHER VEHICLE, WHICH STRUCK THIS TRUCK, DID DEPLOY AS EXPECTED, AND THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE IN WHICH THE AIRBAG DEPLOYED DID NOT REQUIRE AMBULANCE TRANSPORT. ## VIN PASSED ## DODGE RAM 2500 2015 ##

CHAPMAN DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM OF SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA (3800 N 89TH ST, 85251) WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REQUESTED THAT THE VEHICLE BE BROUGHT IN FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 41,500.

LOOKED AT TRACKS CONFIRMED VEHICLE ROLLED AWAY NOT SLIDE. PULLED TRUCK BACK UP DRIVEWAY AND PUT TRUCK IN PARK. WHILE STILL IN VEHICLE TRUCK AGAIN ROLLED AWAY. CONFIRMED THIS BY LOOKING OUT DOOR AND SEEING TIRED ROLLING. PUT IN AND OUT SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE THE TRUCK STOPPED ROLLING.
HAVE A VIBRATION OR SHIMMY IN THE RIGHT REAR TIRE, WHEEL OR AXLE. HAVE PUT ON NEW TIRES AND ROTATED/BALANCED THEM. DODGE DEALERSHIP HAS LOOKED IT OVER AND TELLS ME NO PROBLEM. TRUCK WAS IN PARK WAS OUT OF TRUCK FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES. TRUCK STARTING MOVING HIT END OF BRIDGE AND CAUSED APPROX. $2,500.00 DAMAGE TO TRUCK AND IT WAS STILL IN PARK. WAS LOOKING AT BRIDGE AT JOB SITE AND HAD WALKED BEHIND TRUCK TALKING TO JOB SUPERVISOR AND I\ THEY TOLD ME MY TRUCK WAS MOVING. LUCKY NOBODY WAS IN FRONT, COULD HAVE HURT SOMEBODY!! THERE WAS 2 WITNESS TO THIS BESIDE ME. RAM HAS A SAFETY ISSUE WITH THIS. I WENT TO DEALER AND WAS TOLD TO APPLY PARKING BRAKE EVER TIME I EXIT PICKUP,THIS IS A PROBLEM AND THEY KNOW IT WHY SHOULD I APPLY BRAKE WHEN I PARK WHAT IS PARK FOR. THEY DIDN'T HAVR THERE NEW PICKUPS ON LOT PARKING BRAKES APPLY?
STEERING RACK WILL LOCK UP OUT IF NO WHERE WHILE DRIVING AT HIGH AND LOW SPEEDS.THIS HAPPENS WHEN TRUCK IS STATIONARY AND IN MOTION WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL IT'S NOT CONTINUOUSLY HAPPENING IT IS INTERMITTENT. BEEN TO TWO DEALERS AND NO FIX OTHER THAN TO REPLACE THE STEERING RACK. IT'S TOO MUCH MONEY TO PAY WITH NO HELP. *TT
RAM 1500 BIG HORN WAS STOPPED IN FRONT OF MY HOME GARAGE, IDLING IN PARK. I DISMOUNTED TO CLOSE BOTH OUTSIDE MIRRORS WHEN THE VEHICLE SHIFTED ITSELF TO DRIVE. IT PROCEEDED INTO THE GARAGE AND HOUSE WALL CAUSING EXTENSIVE STRUCTURAL DAMAGE. SEE NHTSA INVESTIGATION PE16-014 FOR SIMILAR ACCIDENTS.
MY TRUCK WAS IDLING IN PARK WITH BRAKE ON. MY TRUCK JUMPED OUT OF PARK INTO DRIVE AND RAN INTO A TREE WITH NO BODY IN DRIVERS SEAT.
TRAVELING ON HIGHWAY IN WINTER CONDITIONS THE TRUCKS ANTI-LOCK/ABS/TRACTION CONTROL /4X4 AND CRUISE CONTROL ALL STOPPED WORKING AND THE DASH WARNING LIGHTS STARTED FLASHING. AT 65 MPH WHILE ACCELERATING WITH TRAFFIC UP HILL ON A CORNER ON WINTERY ROADS THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE JUST STOPPED WORKING AND THE TRACTION CONTROL WAS LOST. THE TRUCK WENT INTO SEVERAL 360 DEGREE SPINS AND CAM TO A STOP ON THE FAR RIGHT SHOULDER. NO OTHER VEHICLES WERE STRUCK AND I WAS ABLE TO AVOID THE BRIDGE ABUTMENT. AFTER TAKING THE VEHICLE TO LITHIA DODGE OF WASILLA I WAS TOLD THE WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED (48,100 MILES AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT) BUT THE DEALER COULD NOT GET THE TRUCK IN FOR OVER A WEEK. AFTER THE DEALER LOOKED AT THE TRUCK THEY REPLACED THE R-REAR SPEED SENSOR AND SAID THAT WAS THE ISSUE. I WENT TO PICK UP THE TRUCK AND THE ISSUE WAS NOT RESOLVED. I LEFT THE TRUCK AGAIN AT THE DEALER. THEY THEN INDICATED THE ISSUE WAS IN THE WIRING HARNESS. I TOOK THE TRUCK HOME TO INSPECT THE WIRING. I TESTED THE CONTINUITY OF THE CONDUCTORS THAT THE DEALER HAD INDICATED WERE THE ISSUE AND FOUND NO DEFECTS. I TOOK THE TRUCK BACK AND EXPLAINED MY FINDINGS, THEY INDICATED THAT THE TECH HAD "GUESSED" THAT THE ISSUE WAS THE HARNESS. AFTER RETURNING TO GET MY TRUCK THE DEALER SAID IT WAS REPAIRED, THEY HAD PERFORMED UNAUTHORIZED WORK, CUT MY HARNESS AND SPLICED AS THEY SAID THAT WAS THE ISSUE, BUT THE ISSUE WAS NOT FIXED. I TOOK THE TRUCK TO ANOTHER LITHIA DEALER WHO INDICATED THE HARNESS WAS DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR BY THE DEALER, YOU CANT SPLICE THE HARNESS(?) ACCORDING TO THE OTHER DEALER AND IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED IN WHOLE. THEY COULD NOT WORK ON IT ANY MORE TO FIX THE ISSUE DUE TO THE HARNESS ISSUE CAUSED BY THE UNAUTHORIZED REPAIR PERFORMED BY THE OTHER LITHIA DEALER. TRUCK STILL HAS NO 4X4, ABS, TRACTION CONTROL OR CRUISE CONTROL. THIS FAILURECOULD BE A SEVERE SAFETY ISSUE AND RESULT IN ACCIDENTS.

RAM 1500 HEMI 2015 TRADESMAN WITH THE FAMOUS HEMI TICK. MANIFOLD BOLTS BROKE OFF CAUSING LOUD TICK SOUND AT START UP AND SOMETIMES WHEN DRIVING. I HAVE READ HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS IN REGARDS OF THIS HEMI TICK ISSUE. WHY ISN'T THIS A RECALL. DEALER IS CHARGING $650 EACH SIDE.
2015 RAM 1500 RESTRAINT SYSTEM FAILED TO ACTIVATE DURING A SIGNIFICANT CRASH. ENTIRE LOWER BUMPER TORN OFF, CHROME SOLID STEEL BUMPER WAS COMPLETELY MANGLED. FRONTAL FRAME BRACKETS (4 TOTAL) WERE CRUSHED LIKE AN ACCORDION, SIDE SUPPORT BRACKETS OF THE FRONT BUMPER WERE BENT BACK INTO THE WHEEL WELL WITH THE BUMPER. ACCIDENT WAS DRY PAVEMENT, SUNNY WEATHER, PART OF 6 CAR PILE UP, IMPACT ESTIMATED GREATER THAN 25MPH INTO A STATIONARY VEHICLE. PERMANENT MEDICAL ISSUES DUE TO COMPLAINT SYSTEM RESTRAINT SYSTEM FAILURE. REQUESTED DEALER TO REVIEW THE RESTRAINT SYSTEM SOFTWARE TO DETERMINE IF IT SHOULD HAVE ACTIVATED. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO CONCERNED THAT WITH THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD BOLTS BEING FRACTURED, THERE WAS A POSSIBILITY OF EXHAUST GASES BEING DISPERSED INTO THE ATMOSPHERE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. ONE DAY LAST WEEK I WOKE UP AND MY LEFT REAR STEERING WHEEL CONTROL BUTTON STOPPED FUNCTIONING. (TURNS THE RADIO STATION TUNING DOWN) ALSO THE HIGH MOUNTED REVERSE LIGHTS DO NOT WORK WHEN IN REVERSE. I ALSO HAD A BLOWN HIGH MOUNTED REAR BRAKE LIGHT BULB OUT WHICH WAS REPLACED. HORN WORKS NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I HAVE NOT TAKEN IT TO DO TO DIAGNOSTIC COST.
ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL MALFUNCTION(LIGHTNING BOLT), LOW POWER. WAS TOLD 1.5 WEEKS FOR APPOINTMENT. 1 WEEK LATER 'DPF 100% FULL, SEE DEALER'. DEALER DID FORCED REGEN, CLEARED CODES, BACK TO NORMAL. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY WARNINGS ABOUT DPF BECOMING FULL. NO EARLY REGEN NOTIFICATION.
EXHAUST FUMES FILL CABIN: 2015 4X4 ECODIESEL. WHEN DRIVING IN SLOW TRAFFIC SPEEDS OF LESS THAN 30 MPH OR STOPPED, THE CABIN BECOMES FILLED WITH EXHAUST FUMES. THIS APPEARS TO BE COMING IN THROUGH THE VENTILATION SYSTEM, AS IT IS QUITE NOTICEABLE WHEN IT IS BLOWING DIRECTLY IN YOUR FACE. IT HAS BECOME PROGRESSIVELY WORSE AND STRONGER OVER TIME. WHILE THE TRUCK IS MOVING AT NORMAL HIGHWAY SPEEDS IT IS NOT NOTICED, OR AT LEAST AS COMPARED TO WHAT IS NOTICED WHEN AT LOWER SPEEDS OR WHEN STOPPED. THE FUMES CONTINUE TO INCREASE AND BECOME QUITE HEAVY WHILE OPERATING AT THE SLOWER SPEEDS OR STOPPED. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN ADDRESSED IN A RECALL (R04) FOR 2014 AND 2015 RAM 4X2 ECODIESELS BUT NOT IN RAM 4X4 ECODIESELS AS OF 10/5/17.

THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE ONE DAY I WOULDN'T KNOW IF THE TRUCK IS ACTUALLY IN PARK MECHANICALLY OR NOT.
