Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)The ABS module on my vehicle is causing warning lights on my dashboard. I ran an analysis and it says the ABS Electronic module is bad. I have tried to obtain a replacement module and have been unable to locate one. The part number is 68295368AB. Two Dodge dealers have told me the part is under engineering review and they cannot even order the module until May 15, 2024 if then. What is a consumer supposed to do? Drive a possibly unsafe vehicle because Dodge is "reviewing" an obviously frequently failing part? That would seem to place a lot of potentially dangerous vehicles on the road. The part seems to have been produced without any kind of gasket around the edge of the unit, and it is housed next to the front wheel well, where dust and dirt would be present. I have no choice other than to drive this vehicle as is, because I have no other transportation available. I plan to bring this to news media for consumer awareness.
