Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)no power for trailer park lights tried to attach a trailer and no power. same issue as current recall for a year newer vehicle. the recall should be expanded. I have power to fuse but none going back to the plug. I searched internet for fixes and found the recall
My left blinker randomly comes on but if I turn on the right signal the left goes off and right doesn't work and will eventually work normally again
The vehicle has always had an issue with turn signal canceling the left hand turn probably fails 30/40% of the time. There was a recall on this but requires a diagnostic to be performed. This has been completed twice and didn’t fail, but service writer and tech both witnessed it not working during driving test. Problem is StarParts won’t send parts to dealer because it passes their diagnostic. After complaints to dealer now StarParts wants to run test a third time the dealer and I agree the outcome will be the same. I sent email to StarParts regional manager (Benton Kuchefskil) twice and he refuses to respond. Basically the issue is they confirm it does not function properly but they won’t repair it because it passes their diagnostics. I have been trying to get this repaired since December
When using the left turn signal the blinker does not reset after making the turn. Could potentially lead to an accident if other drivers think I intend to turn left and don't. Has not been inspected yet. No system warning lights.
Turn signal stock fails to shut off turn signal after turning left same problem as recall 23V-799 for 2023 standard 1500
Turn signal is not cancelling after turning. Brough vehicle back to dealership and they did not have the part to fix it and never called me back. Looked in the NHTSA recall listing and saw that issues with turn signals have been previously reported under 23V799000. What can I do?
The left turn signal does not turn off after the turn is completed.
Left turn signal doesn’t cancel on its own. You signal left and you make a left turn and the signal is still blinking. This is a widespread issue according to other Ram 1500 owners.
The issue concerns the steering column control module, when the turn signal is used or activate the turn signal self-canceling feature may not function properly. Either issue can cause confusion or reduce visibility for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash. I have asked the dealer to fix the issue but have told me they have been out of stock of the part and I have been waiting over 6 months for the fix with no resolution.
