While towing a (new) travel trailer, the trailer brakes stop working intermittently. The local RAM dealer could not find any problems. A DTC code C10C7-19 was discovered with no way to repair according to the Ram dealer. I contacted the RV dealer about this problem. They said they have never seen this problem. Test were made on the electrical brake system, All wiring and brakes checked OK. I do not feel safe towing not knowing if my brakes will work or not.
Crankshaft position sensor went out at highway speed pulling a 5th wheel. Truck shut down in traffic and all power was lost. The throttle position engine light came on and the truck overheated and completely shut down nearly causing a high speed crash on I/40 east of amarillo. The 5th wheel was 17000 pounds and the truck had 37000 miles on it. The dealer (Lipscomb Dodge Elk City , OK) advised it was the crankshaft position sensor and that it was on the same circuit as numerous other sensors that are vital to keeping the engine running and the truck operating safely. The truck is available for inspection, and now has a loud ticking noise (possibly an injector, lifter, or exhaust leak due to the over heating caused by the faulty sensor.
The radio screen will cut out and turn black randomly but will continue playing music. When this occurs, the screen will not turn back on even if the truck is put in reverse. This is a serious safety concern since the back up camera is inoperative. This has happened three separate times in the past month, and I have video of two instances that was provided to the dealership.
We own a RAM 2500 truck with an Integrate Brake Controller that is used to activate the trailer brakes on our 10,000+ lb 5th wheel RV. On our last rv trip, the Brake Controller test was not producing the necessary braking function on the trailer (putting more stress upon the trucks braking system). We became acutely aware of this as we attempted to stop on a downhill grade (highway exit ramp) where the traffic control switched to Red. We were barely able to stop in time, which had not happed in the past. When we arrived home, we did research and decided to switch the RV brakes from Drum to Disc brakes based upon research and our belief that the brakes were simply not sufficient for the RV Trailer. We had an RV shop install a brand new disc brake (electric/hydraulic) brake system. When we went to pick up the RV, we tested the brakes and they continued to be very weak (despite working on the RV dealers test equipment and truck). We had the RAM dealership test the brake controller and they said that it was "operating", despite the fact that it is not triggering the necessary braking action. When I went on-line to research, I found many posts in the RAM owner forum that discussed this exact issue from many RAM owners. All had pursued repairs from their dealers, all to no avail. RAM denies that their controller is the problem, yet owners who go through the process of replacing their OEM equipment with aftermarket controllers all report that their brakes now operate as intended. These posts encourage folks who have similar problems to report to this website in the hopes that an investigation and recall would be triggered. I can't wait for the government to finally get convinced that this is a problem as I cannot go on the road with this brake controller in its current state. It is an incredibly dangerous condition, and I sincerely hope that you will take action to investigate and take the appropriate action with RAM/Dodge.

The contact owns a 2022 Ram 2500. The contact stated that while attempting to drive out of the driveway, several unknown warning lights illuminated, and the vehicle failed to respond as designed. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer to be diagnosed. The vehicle was diagnosed with a defective RF module that was causing a failure on the COM buss system. The vehicle was repaired, but afterwards the contact experienced a failure with the passenger’s side window. The contact inspected the vehicle himself and noticed the original RF module was still connected. The contact asked the dealer why the original RF was still mounted. The dealer informed the contact that the failure with the original RF module was caused by the SRS OCI module. The vehicle was repaired a second time. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 47,696.

Two fire related safety recalls ZA3 (10/22/2022) and 13A (2/9/2023) have yet to be resolved due to a lack of parts from the manufacturer with no date available as to the availability of required parts.
I received a letter from FCA concerning recall 97A NHTSA recall 23V-654 and the directions for the recall suggest that I can do an OTA update or as the video linked in the recall suggest a download from [XXX] to correct this issue. I cannot get either resource to work to correct this issue described in the recall. This website and OTA updates for issues is a known problem with FCA products and suggests they do not care about correcting the metrics outlined in the recall. I would like for the file to be available or if they do not want them to be downloadable at least the OTA update system work or mail the files to the customer. The contact owns a 2022 Ram 2500. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH and towing a load, the air bag warning light illuminated. After a visual inspection of the engine compartment, the contact observed that both air bag fuses were blown. After restarting the vehicle, it seemed to return to normal functionality, but the contact experienced additional electrical failures with the electronic stability control activated, cruise control disabled, the seat belt warning light illuminated, and the SOS call system warning light illuminated. Additionally, the trailer brakes system warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The contact replaced the blown fuses, and the warning lights and system failures were resolved. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 17,500.
This is the second time this is happening, first time June 30 2023 it was towed to rainbow ram in Covington because it lost power and multiple warning lights came on, service shifter appeared in message center, truck got home and wouldn't shift, then wouldn't start. Theyouldn't find the problem I was told they detected high voltage and checked for loose connection but couldn't find any issue despite having the truck more than a week. On August 3rd while driving on i10 in Alabama the truck had a sudden drop in power and start decelerating almost every warning light came on the dash with multiple message in the message center. It is currently at tameron ram in Alabama. The put it on a computer that showed almost every control module has failed. RAM will not guarantee to provide me a rental truck and the dealer can't tell me how long they will have it. To be clear I have no complaint aboutTameron ram staff. The last message on the display said to stop the truck in a safe place and that it may not start again. While tri g to get to the dealer it was going crazy with different lights and windshield wipers turning on by themselves.

Day after purchasing my truck the navigation screen went blank after plugging in iPhone to charge by usb. I could not use the 3 month trial of connect or use the remote features to start my truck or use navigation system to drive to an address. Could not use WiFi hotspot. Password and name would change every time I set it up. My navigation address would be modified while driving in route taking me home n opposite direction away from where I was trying to go. All settings would be modified constantly. Paid $400+ for a year subscription for navigation and connect but can’t use. AT&T told me someone had acquired the cell number associated with the simcard module in the navigation system and the SIM card must be replaced or they could continue to unlock my doors. My truck has been broken into more than 7 times and have stolen cash, ham radio and keys to my home and RV. Cannot get service manager at Prestige Dodge to change the simcard module out. He changes his story every time I try to bring my try back n to get the simcard module replaced. I am disabled use a wheelchair or rollator to get around. I fear for my life due to the number of times they have broken into my truck. Have video footage of hackers using my Dodge Ram app on their cell phone and getting into my truck on more than one occasion. Have filed 5 police reports to date. They now prevent the officers from contacting me about the police reports I have filed and have stolen bags of silver bars and silver coins I gave my son. They have ruined 4 iPhones and 3 laptops that were in my Ram. To date over 23,000 in cost I have paid for new iPhones and new email addresses but nothing prevents them from continuing to open my truck door. They planted an Apple Air tag in my truck as well and sent me text messages while on vacation in oct 2023 showing my location while they broke into my Rv a fourth time. I feel my life is in danger and someone steal my truck or break in my home w sleep with no hearing aids on and kill
