When it's cold I get frost inside my vehicle I replaced my windshield because I thought air was getting inside to cause the frost but after getting it replaced same issue water is leaking in and causing moisture and causing my vehicle not wanting to start because it's doing something to the battery
MY PASSENGER LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT HAS BURNT OUT AND HAS BEEN REPLACED AT LEAST 4 TIMES IN 1 MONTH. IT'S CURRENTLY 12/15/19 AND IT'S BURNT OUT AS WE SPEAK
WATER IS LEAKING INTO THE VEHICLE CAUSE ELECTRICAL MALFUNCTIONING. WATER IS COLLECTING INTO THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT. ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS CAUSED BY WATER INCLUDE RADIO, LIGHTS; DASHBOARD( SHUTS OFF FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN COMES BACK ON) AND INTERIOR, DOOR LOCKS, STABILITY TRACK MALFUNCTION AT WHICH POINT THE CAR WILL SHAKE AND SHUT ITSELF OFF WHILE BEING DRIVEN ABOVE 40 MPH.
WHEN STARTING THE STABILITRAK LIGHT COMES ON AND THE BUZZER GOES OFF, THEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS FLICKERS OFF AND ON. THIS CAUSES A ROUGH IDLE LIKE A MISFIRE .I HAVE HAD PLUGS AND COIL PACKS REPLACED AS WELL AS SHOCKS AND STRUTS. ERROR STILL REMAINS. MECHANIC SAYS ONE ISSUE TRIGGERS THE OTHER. HAVE SEEN 100'S OF OTHER SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ON FULL SIZE GM TRUCKS AND OTHER SUVS. HOPEFULLY SOON A RECALL ISSUE
MY FIRST ISSUE IS THAT EVERYTIME IT RAINS, WATER LEAKS FROM THE SUNROOF. THE AREA AROUND THE SUNROOF WILL BE SOAKED AND DRIPPING DOWN INTO THE SEATS AND DOWN TO THE FLOOR. ALSO MY LIFTGATE DOES NOT WORK. I HAVE TO MANUALLY LIFT IT ALL THE WAY UP AND DOWN. I CAN HEAR THE GEARS TURNING BUT THEY DON'T WORK.
STARTED AS ONE HEADLIGHT GOING OUT AND THEN YOU TURN SWITCH TO MANUAL AND BACK TO AUTO IT COME ON AGAIN AND NOW DRIVING LAST NIGHT DOWN THE HWY BOTH HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT AND WOULDNT COME BACK ON AND WENT OUT NEXT MORNING THEY ARE WORKING BUT ONE IS FLICKERING IT DOES IT WHILE DRIVING AND SITTING STILL
THE FACTORY INSTALLED SUNROOF LEAKS RAINWATER INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR. IT HAS AFFECTED AIRBAGS, SENSORS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS AND POWER SYSTEMS. IF THE CAR GETS WET, THE WATER TRAVELS TO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TO CIRCUIT BOARDS AND DISCHARGES THE BATTERY. THE VEHICLE WILL DIE IN TRAFFIC IF WATER TRAVELS TO THE CIRCUIT BOARD DURING DRIVING. AIRBAGS HAVE EVIDENCE OF WATER TRAVELING THROUGH THEIR ASSEMBLY. FLOOR AND SEATS ARE WET AFTER RAIN, SPRINKLER, CAR WASH, MORNING DEW. DOESN'T SEEMS TO BE DEPENDENT ON AMOUNT OF WATER RECEIVED. BATTERY TESTS FINE ON FULL CHARGE. ALTERNATOR FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY. PROBLEM IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO SUNROOF LEAKAGE. SUNROOF SEAL IS NOT YET UNDER RECALL. YESTERDAY, AFTER A DAY OF RAIN, THE CAR HAD TO BE CHARGED TO DRIVE TO WORK. DROVE 20 MILES WITH NO APPARENT POWER ISSUES, BUT AIRBAG SENSORS SENT ALERT THROUGH THE DASH THAT AIRBAGS NEEDED SERVICING. AFTER WORK 7 HOURS LATER, CAR DROVE INTO OKC RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC, WATER IN THE ROOF SLOSHED (YOU CAN HEAR IT) AND THE CAR DIED. IN TRAFFIC. COMPLETELY DISCHARGED THE BATTERY. NO LIGHTS. NO HAZARDS. NO DOOR LOCKS. NO BRAKES, STEERING, ABILITY TO MOVE THE CAR IN OR OUT OF GEAR, OR EVEN REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION. CAR HAD TO BE JUMPED IN ORDER TO PUT GEAR INTO NEUTRAL TO MOVE OUT OF TRAFFIC AND REMOVE KEY FROM IGNITION. CHARGED ALL NIGHT ON TRICKLE CHARGER AND WAS RUNNING FINE TODAY. EXCEPT, IT'S RAINING NOW.
RECENTLY, WE HAVE NOTICED THE SUNROOF OF OUR OUTLOOK STARTED LEAKING INTO THE FRAME OF THE CAR. WE DON'T USE IT MUCH, SO IT WAS AN ANNOYANCE, IT WOULD DRIP WATER ON THE DRIVER'S LAP AFTER A RAIN. THEN RAINWATER STARTED LEAKING OUT OF AIRBAGS IN THE FRONT DASH AND WINDSHIELD SUPPORT AREA. STARTING TWO DAYS AGO, AFTER A RAINSTORM, THE CAR WILL REMAIN RUNNING WHEN THE KEY IS REMOVED, AND SOMETIMES THE KEY CANNOT BE REMOVED, WHETHER THE CAR IS RUNNING OR NOT. THE BATTERY ALSO DIES EVERY NIGHT, DESPITE BEING A NEW BATTERY AND REMAINING ON A CHARGER. ONLINE FORUMS STATE THE ISSUE HAS TO DO WITH WATER ACCESSING THE CIRCUIT BOARD AND FUSE AREA, ALLOWING ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS TO REMAIN OPERATING THROUGH A CROSS-FIRE OR CARBON-TRACKING, USING THE MOISTURE TO COMPLETE THE CIRCUIT. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD FOR MANY REASONS, NOT ONLY A POTENTIAL FIRE RISK, OR RISK OF THE VEHICLE MOVING AFTER IT'S BEEN SHUT OFF, BUT ALSO POSSIBLE DEGRADATION OF AIRBAG SYSTEMS THROUGHOUT THE DASH AND WINDSHIELD AREA.
THE PASSENGER AIRBAG TURNS OFF AND ON REGARDLESS IF A PERSON (ADULT) IS SITTING IN THE SEAT OR NOT. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR ABOUT THREE MONTHS NOW. I CONTACTED THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THAT IT WAS NOT A RECALL ITEM NOR WOULD IT BE A SAFETY ISSUE. I FEEL THAT IF I AM IN AN ACCIDENT AND THE AIR BAG DOES NOT DEPLOY THAT THE PASSENGER COULD BE IN IMMINENT HARM AT THE FAULT OF GM. THEY WILL NOT REPLACE THE SENSOR UNLESS THERE IS A RECALL. THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH SEVERAL OTHER VEHICLES AS REPORTED ON MULTIPLE ONLINE VEHICLE OWNER FORUMS. GM NEEDS TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND PROTECT THEIR CUSTOMERS FROM FAULTY EQUIPMENT.
NOW THAT ITS COLD MY TRUCK WONT START. EVERY MORNING I HAVE TO JUMP START IT. I ALSO NOTICE THE HEAD LIGHTS GO OUT WELL ON ONE THAT IS. THE LEFT ONE. WHEN IN IDLE THE STABILITY TRACK LIGHT ON DASH BOARD ILLUMINATES I KNOW THIS ISN'T RIGHT I HAD THAT SERVICED ALREADY. THEN THE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON. THE HATCH BACK WONT GO UP COMPLETELY IT WILL GO MID STREAM AND CLOSE BACK.

ROOF LEAKS AND PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW AND DOOR LOCKS DO NOT WORK
FOR A COUPLE WEEKS I'VE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS OPENING MY TRUNK HATCH, I TRIED AGAIN TODAY AND IT DIDN'T OPEN. I THEN BENT DOWN TO PICK UP MY BAGS WHEN THE HATCH OPENED ON ITS OWN AND HIT ME IN THE HEAD PRETTY HARD. IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING NOT BEING ABLE TO OPEN MY TRUNK WHEN I HAVE GROCERIES IN IT. I DIDN'T GO TO THE DOCTOR OR THE ER BECAUSE I WORK IN THE MEDICAL FIELD AND CAN RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS OF A CONCUSSION.
I HAD MY PASSENGER LOW BEAM LIGHT ALREADY FIXED BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE WITH THE WIRING HARNESS TO THE LOW BEAM LIGHT MELT. NOW MY DRIVER SIDE HEADLIGHT WENT OUT AND ITS THE SAME ISSUE AS BEFORE WITH THE WIRING HARNESS MELTING AND THE LIGHT NOT WORKING ON SOME DAYS AND THEN WORKING THE NEXT DAY OR LATER IN THE DAY WHEN I START THE CAR UP AGAIN. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY GM TO GET IT FIXED. I KNOW THERE WAS A SERVICE BULLETIN PUT OUT FOR THE VEHICLE THAT EXPIRED DECEMBER 31, 2013. BOTH OF MY LOW BEAM LIGHTS HAVE STOPPED WORKING THIS YEAR. *TR
PURCHASED THIS 2007 SATURN OUTLOOK IN 2013 USED WITH ONLY AROUND 80K MILES ON IT. THE PREVIOUS OWNER DID TELL US ABOUT THE LEAKING AREAS ONCE THE DRAINS GET CLOGGED, MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN DILIGENT CLEANING THEM, BUT LIVING IN FLORIDA IT RAINS HEAVY ALL THE TIME. WE NOTICED MORE AND MORE FREQUENTLY THE INSIDE DRIPPING IN THE 3RD ROW, UNTIL MANY TIMES, UNTIL THIS PAST NOVEMBER IT RAINED HEAVY FOR 2 DAYS AND THE WATER STARTED COMING THRU WHAT SEEMED TO BE FROM THE AC VENTS ON BOTH ROWS, AND THROUGH THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE WALLS VERY HEAVY, UPON LEAVING WORK WENT TO TURN OFF THE CAR TOOK KEYS OUT TWICE AND IT WOULD NOT SHUT OFF. SO NOW THERE IS THE ELECTRICAL AREAS BEING SOAKED, LET IT DRY OUT CLEANED DRAINS AGAIN, AND IT JUST SEEMS THE MORE RAIN WE HAVE THE MORE WATER COMES IN. RIGHT NOW CAR IS IN GARAGE SINCE WE HAD THE SAME SITUATION WITH RAIN AND NOW IT IS DRIPPING FROM EVERYWHERE.. AFRAID TO DRIVE CAR SINCE WE KNOW THAT THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AND WIRES ARE WET. I HAVE A TODDLER WHOM I HAD TO COVER WITH A TOWEL CAUSE WATER WAS DRIPPING ON HER. GM NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, BEFORE IT CAUSED A FIRE AND COULD CAUSE DEATH TOO. THIS COULD BE DANGEROUS BECAUSE IF THEY STOP WORKING WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING AT NIGHT YOU CAN'T SEE ANYTHING. *TR
BOUGHT THIS PIECE OF CRAP CAR OUT OF DESPERATION FROM A PAY AS YOU GO RIP OFF CAR "DEALERSHIP" WHO TOLD ME NOTHING ABOUT THIS CARS FAULTS AND IT'S DONE NOTHING BUT BITE ME IN THE ASS SINCE THEN. LEAKS LIKE A STUCK PIG, CAUSING WATER TO POOL AT THE FLOOR MATS, WHEN ITS COLE THE INSIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD FROSTS. HEADLIGHTS WILL BOTH SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING, BATTERY DIED SO I CHARGED IT THEN THE RADIO WENT HAYWIRE. OPENED UP THE BATTERY TERMINAL TO FIND MY BATTERY WAS ENCASED IN ICE DUE TO THE LEAKY SUNROOF, THE BATTERY WAS SPARKING AND SMOKING. WINDOWS WON'T GO DOWN ALL OF A SUDDEN. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET RID OF THIS CAR. NEVER AGAIN. SO DANGEROUS IT'S RIDICULOUS. *JS
DRIVER SIDE HEAD LIGHT WENT OUT ABOUT A WEEK AGO,I REPLACED THE LIGHT BULB AND IT WORKED FOR A FEW DAYS.THE SAME LIGHT WENT OUT AGAIN.I WENT TO REPLACE IT ,JUST TO NOTICE A WIRE WAS OUT AND THE CONNECTION HAD MELTED.I LOOKED IT UP AND COME TO FIND OUT THERE IS A FAULTY HARNESS. I CONTACTED A GM DEALER AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE AWARE OF IT,BUT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY WAS OVER ON 12-31-13. IF THIS IS A ON GOING ISSUE,WHY WONT A RECALL BE ISSUED?? I DON'T HAVE 400 DOLLARS TO HAVE A NEW HARNESS INSTALLED. *TR
