TAKATA RECALL MY COMPLAINT IS THERE IS NO DATE AS TO WHEN THE DEFECT REGARDING THE TAKATA AIRBAGS WILL BE COMPLETED. THE RECOMMENDED RESOLUTION FROM TOYOTA IS TO NOT HAVE ANY ONE RIDE IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. THIS IS A HUGE INCONVENIENCE. IS RIDICULOUS TO EXPECT MY FAMILY TO CONTINUE TO DO THIS FOR SOME UNDETERMINED AMOUNT OF TIME. THERE MUST BE SOMETHING ELSE DONE NOW SO I CAN CONTINUE TO USE MY VEHICLE DRIVING MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AS I SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO DO WITHOUT FEAR OF POSSIBLE INJURY OR DEATH FROM THE AIRBAGS.

TAKATA RECALL BEEN WAITING FOR TOYOTA/SCION TO FIX AIRBAG PROBLEM SINCE SUMMER OF 2016. LAST TIME I TALKED TO THEM THEY SAID POSS JAN. JUST CALLED AGAIN JAN 24,2017. NOW THEY SAY THEY CANNOT GIVEN A TIME FRAME. HOW LONG ARE WE SUPPOSE TO WAIT? FEEL LIKE ITS AN INCONVENIENCE BECAUSE NO ONE CAN RIDE W ME IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. WHICH SEEMS RIDICULOUS WHEN ITS ONLY ME AND ONE OTHER PERSON IN THE CAR.

TAKATA RECALL. I RECEIVED NOTICE SOMETIME AROUND JUNE/JULY 2016 OF THE AIRBAG RECALL. I HAVE BEEN CALLING TOYOTA OF NORTHBROOK, THE DEALER WE PURCHASED THE CAR FROM, AND THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION AS TO WHEN THIS AIR BAG WILL BE REPAIRED. WE ARE PLANNING A TRIP IN AUGUST 2017 AND NEED EITHER TO HAVE THE AIRBAG REPLACED OR A LOANER AT NO COST FOR THE TRIP.

TAKATA RECALL: PAX SIDE AIRBAG. NOTIFIED 6 MONTHS AGO. USE CAR INTERMITTENTLY TO TRANSPORT ELDERLY FATHER AND OBESE BROTHER, NEITHER OF WHOM CAN GET INTO THE REAR SEAT AREA. TOYOTA OFFERED A LOANER CAR, BUT WILL NOT GIVE ME A SIMILAR MODEL (THEY WANT TO GIVE ME A TINY COROLLA); AND, WILL REQUIRE ME TO TURN IN MY CAR. IF TURNED IN, I CAN'T GET MY CAR BACK UNTIL REPAIRED, AND, THEY WILL LEAVE IT OUTDOORS, EXPOSED TO HAIL AND SUN (TEXAS). THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I AM BEING DEPRIVED OF THE RIGHT TO USE MY CAR IN THE CUSTOMARY MANNER IN WHICH IT IS USED.

TAKATA RECALL, RECEIVED RECALL FOR AIRBAGS IN MAY 2016 BY TOYOTA DEALER LETTER STATED (YOUR AIRBAG IF EXPLODED COULD CAUSE SERIOUS HARM OR EVEN DEATH. AT THIS TIME WE CANNOT FIX THE PROBLEM, WE WILL NOTIFY YOU WHEN THE PROBLEM CAN BE RESOLVED. WE SUGGEST NO RIDER ON PASSENGER SIDE.THAT WAS NINE MONTHS AGO AS OF JAN 28 2017 HAVE NOT HEARD FROM TOYOTA, I'M JUST A LITTLE PERSON HAVE TO USE A PILLOW TO SEE BETTER AND THE SEAT HAS TO BE REAL CLOSE TO STEERING WHEEL. IF THE AIRBAG INFLATES MY FACE WILL BE GONE AND I WILL MOST LIKELY DIE. TOYOTA SHOULD DO SOMETHING FAST ABOUT THIS MATTER. I HAVE NOTHING TO UPLOAD AT THIS TIME. TAKATA RECALL - RECALL NOTICE WAS ISSUED ON MAY, 23 2016 AND AS OF DECEMBER 10, 2016 NO REMEDY IS AVAILABLE FROM THE MANUFACTURER. THIS IS FAR BEYOND WHAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A TIMELY RESOLUTION TO SUCH A SEVERE SAFETY RISK.
AIRBAG RECALL NO HELP OR FIX FROM MANUFACTURE ITS BEEN SEVERAL MONTHS LETS GET IT TOGETHER TOYOTA
TAKATA RECALL. RECALL DATE: MAY 23, 2016. AS OF DEC. 30, 2016, MANUFACTURER HAS FAILED OR IS UNABLE TO REMEDY THIS CONDITION.
THE SAFETY RECALL NOTICE FROM TOYOTA HAD BEEN RECEIVED IN MAY OF 2016. IT STATED THAT RECALL HAD BEEN ISSUED FOR TAKATA FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG INFLATOR. IT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DO NOT OPERATE THE VEHICLE WITH AN OCCUPANT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT DUE TO DANGER OF INFLATOR RUPTURE DURING AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT. THIS RUPTURE CAN HAPPENED ANY TIME DUE TO DEGRADATION OF THE PROPELLANT IN THESE INFLATORS AFTER PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO HIGH HUMIDITY AND FLUCTUATING TEMPERATURES. SEVEN MONTHS LATER THERE STILL NO REMEDY HAD BEEN ISSUED. I MADE TWO PHONE CALLS TO TOYOTA CUSTOMER CENTER. FIRST TIME IN OCTOBER 2016 AND SECOND IN JANUARY 2017 AND STILL DID NOT GET ANY REASONABLE ANSWERS ON WHEN THIS RECALL WOULD BE FIXED FOR OUR VEHICLE. OUR FAMILY JUST AS MANY OTHERS ARE EXPERIENCING EXTREME INCONVENIENCE DUE TO THIS RECALL AND TOYOTA HAS NOT SHOWED ANY EMPATHY AND/OR ABILITY OF TRYING TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. IT TAKES A VERY LONG AND UNREASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME.

"TAKATA RECALL" IT IA ABOUT A YEAR FROM THE RECALL. OWNERS WERE CALLED TO AVOID USING PASSENGER SEAT INSTEAD, OTHERWISE ANY PERSON THERE WOULD DEAD . SO I BECAME "UBER" DRIVER? HOW CAN GUARANTEE THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY SEATING IN FRONT? THE CAR NOW IS JUST FOR 4 PASSENGERS....FOR A YEAR...WE NEED A SOLUTION, I CAN NOT EVEN SELL THE CAR LIKE THAT....
I WAS SENT A LETTER SAYING I SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY PASSENGERS IN THE FRONT OF MY CAR. THIS MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR MY FAMILY TO USE THE VEHICLE. I WAS SOLD THE CAR BY NALLY IN ATLANTA IN FEBRUARY 2016 BUT WAS GIVEN NO NOTICE OF THE ISSUE AT THAT TIME. I WOULD LIKE MY CAR REPAIRED OR BOUGHT BACK OR REPLACED.
