Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHEDIMAGES.BOTH FRONT AND REAR WINDSHIELD VISIBILITY IS EXTREMELYOPAQUE. I INCLUDING MY FRIENDS WHO EVER TRIED ARE GETTING HEADACHES WITHIN LESS THAN 2 MINS OF DRIVING. I AM EXTREMELY WORRIED FOR MY SAFETY(COULD BE LIFE OR DEATH) ISSUE AND DISTRESSED. AFTER ONE WHOLE WEEK OF TRYING TO REACH THE DEALER OVER PHONE, I PHYSICALLY WENT OVER TO THE DEALER AND THEN THE DEALER TOLD ME, "WE CAN'T MAKE ANY DECISIONS RIGHT NOW WITHOUT CONSULTING TOYOTA". THEY ALSO REFUSEDTO PROVIDE ME TEMPORARY LOANERVEHICLE. THIS BRAND NEW CAR IS SIMPLY UN-DRIVABLE. PLEASE ADVISE. ALSO ATTACHED IS PICTURE FROM SIDE WINDOWS WHICH IS GOOD CLEAR, FOR COMPARISON.
WHEN DRIVING IN THE DARK WITH HEADLIGHTS ON THE WINDSHIELD VISIBILITY IS SPLIT HORIZONTALLY. YOU CAN SEE OUT OF THE LOWER PORTION OF THE WINDSHIELD, BUT NOT THE UPPER PORTION.
I HAVE HAD MY TOYOTA CAMRY APPROXIMATELY 8 MONTHS AND HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ALMOST SINCE THE BEGINNING THAT THE AUTO DIMMING REAR VIEW MIRROR IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. I HAVE PARTICULAR PROBLEMS AT DUSK AND DAWN. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THIS RESOLVED WITH TOYOTA CORPORATE CUSTOMER SERVICE HOWEVER THEY HAVE BEEN UNRESPONSIVE. I FIND THE BRIGHT LIGHTS ARE GLARING AND DISTRACTING AND I HAVE TO TIP THE MIRROR DOWN SOMETIMES IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE AS SAFE AS IT SHOULD BE IN MY OPINION. YOUR HELP TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER WOULD BE APPRECIATED!
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
