TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 TOYOTA TACOMA. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE STEERING FELT LOOSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING LINKAGE FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER FAILED TO INSTALL A PROTECTIVE BOOTH OVER THE STEERING LINKAGE, WHICH CAUSED DIRT AND DUST TO ENTER THE STEERING ASSEMBLY. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SERVCO AUTO KAUAI (2477 ULU MAIKA ST, LIHUE, HI 96766, 877-689-1808) WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DISQUALIFIED THE VEHICLE FOR THE RECALL REPAIR DUE TO AN AFTERMARKET LEVELING KIT BEING INSTALLED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRAME WAS RUSTED AND THERE WERE HOLES UNDERNEATH THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEATS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 85,000.
I NOTICED THE STEERING BECAME INTERMITTENTLY STIFF, BECOMING MORE SO ABOUT A WEEK AGO. IT HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING IN ALL CONDITIONS (SLOW SPEED, HIGHWAY SPEED, DRY WEATHER, WET ROADS ETC) POWER STEERING FLUID WAS FULL, PUMP WAS FINE. MY GARAGE DETERMINED THAT THE U JOINT ON THE STEERING SHAFT WAS STUCK AND THAT I NEED TO REPLACE THE STEERING SHAFT. THIS IS A 2 PART SHAFT (WITH U JOINT) THAT IS ONLY AVAILABLE FROM TOYOTA. IT'S COSTING ME $762 TO HAVE THIS REPLACED. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. IN THE PAST TOYOTA HAS RECALLED THE CAMRY, COROLLA AND RAV4 FOR THE SAME ISSUE. I FOLLOW MANY TOYOTA FORUMS AND THIS APPEARS TO BE A COMMON ISSUE IN THE TACOMA (2005-2014 MODELS FROM WHAT I'VE READ). WHY HASN'T TOYOTA RECALLED THE TACOMA AS WELL?
I HAVE OWNED A 08 TACOMA FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS NOW, AND HAVE NOTICED A POSSIBLE PROBLEM WITH THE TOYOTA ABS SYSTEM. IF WHEN BRAKING YOU HIT A BUMP, POT HOLE, OBJECT, ETC THE ABS SYSTEM DOES NOT KNOW EXACTLY HOW TO REACT AND INCREASES BRAKING DISTANCE. I LIVE IN LOUISIANA AND OUR ROADS ARE NOT THE BEST. I HAVE NOTICED SEVERAL TIMES THAT I WILL BE BRAKING TO AVOID HITTING SOMETHING/SOMEONE, HIT A BUMP, AND MY BRAKING ACTION IS REDUCED UNTIL THE SYSTEM REGAINS ITSELF. YOU CAN HEAR THE ABS SYSTEM RESPOND EACH TIME THIS OCCURS AND CAN NOTICE THAT YOUR VEHICLE ISN'T STOPPING. LIKE I STATED BEFORE I'VE OWNED THIS TRUCK FOR 4 YEARS AND HAVE NOTICED THIS THE ENTIRE TIME. I RECENTLY HAVE HAD A FEW TIMES TO WHERE THE TRUCK HAS NOT WANTED TO STOP AND I HAVE ALMOST HIT SOMEONE BECAUSE I STARTED BRAKING, HIT A BUMP, AND THE SYSTEM DID NOT KNOW HOW TO REACT. THIS IS A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION THAT I WOULD LIKE FIXED. I'M A LOYAL TOYOTA OWNER (HAVE 4) AND JUST WANT THIS ISSUE ADDRESSED SO THAT I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BRAKING AND HITTING BUMPS. MY VEHICLE WAS CHECKED OUT MY TOYOTA AND EVERYTHING WAS GOOD WITH THEM. I CONTACT TOYOTA ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND THEY STATED THAT IF THE DEALERSHIP SAYS THERE'S NO PROBLEM, THEN THERE'S NO PROBLEM, BUT I COULD HAVE PROBLEM FIXED AND THEY MAY REIMBURSE ME IN THE FUTURE. I'VE SPOKEN WITH OTHER OWNERS AND THEY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH SIMILAR YEARS AND MODELS INCLUDING 4RUNNER. THE ABS SYSTEM DOESN'T REACT LIKE I FEEL IT SHOULD WHEN THE TIRE'S DYNAMIC CHANGES DUE TO EITHER A DUMP AND/OR GOING FROM HARD SURFACE TO A SOFT SURFACE SUCH AS DIRT, IF THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED BEFORE AND THROUGH THE CHANGE IN DYNAMIC. I HAVE A PARTICULAR BUMP IN THE ROAD RIGHT BEFORE A TURN THAT EVERY TIME I HIT IT WHILE BRAKING TO MAKE THE TURN MY ABS PUMP SURGES, STEERING WHEEL VIBRATES, AND BRAKING IS VERY LIMITED UNTIL SYSTEM REGAINS ITSELF.
IN THE LAST WEEK, I'VE HAD A HARD TIME STEERING, ESPECIALLY TIGHT TURNS. WENT TO DEALERSHIP TODAY AND WAS TOLD THE U JOINT ON THE MAIN STEERING SHAFT IS SEIZING UP. THEY SAID THEY HAVE HAD SEVERAL OF THESE ISSUES LATELY. THE SERVICE AGENT SHOWED ME A DAMAGED ONE SITTING BEHIND HIS DESK. COST TO REPLACE IS $621. WENT ON TACOMA WORLD AND A LOT OF OWNERS COMPLAINING THE SAME THING.
HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY INNER LENS DISTORTION. TOYOTA NEVER SENT ME THE EXTENSION OF WARRANTY NOTICE FOR THIS DEFECT, MY DEALERSHIP DID NOT MENTION IT TO ME AND NOW NEITHER WILL COVER THIS OBVIOUS AND RECOGNIZED SAFETY DEFECT EVEN THOUGH I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE SINCE 2010 WHEN THE VEHICLE HAD ONLY 8000 MILES ON IT.

4WD LIGHT REMAINS FLASHING, 4WD SEEMS JAMMED AND HAS OCCURRED MANY TIMES. LEAF SPRINGS REPLACED RECALL SWITCHED TO DEAVERS, BOTH REAR BRAKE CABLES BROKEN? NOT ABLE TO GET INTO 4WD, AND NOW THE STEERING BOX OR POWER STEERING HAS GONE WEIRD SEEMS LIKE IT'S HARDER TO STEER LEFT THAN RIGHT?.????? SEEEMS LIKE A FLAT SPOT THEN TURNS???
A RECALL ON THE FRAME, THEIR INSPECTION WAS VISUAL AND TAP WITH A HAMMER. IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S FIFTY YEARS OLD, IT SO RUSTY I'M SCARED OF IT. THE RESALE VALUE HAS SUFFERED DUE TO THE OVERSIGHT OF TOYOTA. I WOULD LIKE A NEW FRAME.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 TOYOTA TACOMA. WHILE STATIONARY, IT WAS OBSERVED THAT THE SUBFRAME OF THE VEHICLE WAS SEVERELY RUSTED AND CORRODED. THERE WERE ALSO HOLES IN THE FRAME WHERE THE WHEELS CONNECTED TO THE FRAME. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
POWER STEERING IS SOMETIMES DIFFICULT. I CHECKED A TOYOTA FORUM AND THIS SEEMS TO BE COMMON. THE PROBLEM IS THE LOWER INTERMEDIATE SHAFT UNIVERSAL JOINT IS EXPOSED TO ROAD SALT AND SPRAY AND SEIZES UP. SO AT TIMES THE STEERING IS TOUGH THEN IT EASES UP AND DOES NOT RETURN TO CENTER AFTER A TURN. LIKE I SAID THIS PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE WELL KNOWN TO THE FORUM. THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM! 77,000 MILES ON THE TRUCK.
CLUNTING SOUND COMING FROM TRASMISSION TO REAR END WHEN COMING TO FULL STOP AND DOWN SHIFTING
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2008 TOYOTA TACOMA. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE CONTACT LOOKED IN THE REARVIEW MIRROR AND NOTICED FLAMES BETWEEN THE VEHICLE CAB AND BED. THE CONTACT DID NOT DETECT ANY SMOKE OR A BURNING ODOR. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND EXITED THE VEHICLE. WITHIN THIRTY SECONDS, THE VEHICLE WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES AND EXPLODED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FLAMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A SALVAGE YARD WHERE IT WAS DEEMED DESTROYED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V604000 (SUSPENSION). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. I NOTICED THE TRUCK WAS NOT HANDLING RIGHT (STEERING). IT GOT TO THE POINT THE STEERING WAS LOCKING UP AND I HAD TO MANUALLY RETURN THE WHEEL IN ORDER TO STEER THE TRUCK. THIS IS DANGEROUS. I WENT ONLINE AND DISCOVERED THIS IS COMMON . TOYOTA ISSUED A S.B. FOR A STEERING RATTLE UNDER A 3 YR PROGRAM. THIS IS NOT A RATTLE ITS MUCH WORSE AND AS STATED ITS DANGEROUS. I INSPECTED THE STEERING KNUCKLE AND IT WAS SEIZING UP. THE COST TO REPAIR IS APPROXIMATELY $750 DOLLARS. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE ALLOWING UNSAFE VEHICLES TO KNOWINGLY OPERATE WITH THIS DESIGN FLAW. PLEASE INVESTIGATE.
WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP, TURN, ON THE FREEWAY OR A NORMAL ROAD MY THROTTLE WILL GIVE OUT FOR .5-4 SECONDS. A FAILED THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY IS TO BLAME AND I'VE BEEN HEARING OF MORE AND MORE TACOMAS WITH IT. I'M WORRIED THAT ONE DAY I'LL BE TURNING AND WILL GET INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND WON'T BE ABLE TO ACCELERATE AND THEN WILL GET SLAMMED BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC
FRAME LIMITED RECALL THAT EXPIRED MARCH 2016 I DID NOT RECEIVE NOTIFICATION AND TOYOTA REFUSES REPAIR. MY FAMILY DRIVES THIS VEHICLE AND I FEEL IT IS NOT SAFE DUE TO RECALL. THERE ARE VISIBLE SIGNS OF CORROSION. RECALL IS RECALL. VISIBLE CORROSION IS ABUNDANT.
"TAKATA RECALL" HIT A GUARD RAIL ON INTERSTATE 40 IN ICE AND SNOW, AIRBAGS DEPLOYED AND I RECEIVED A LACERATION TO LEFT EYE AND EYELID, TOTAL OF MED BILLS INCLUDING LIFEGARD AIR TRANSPORT AND EMERGENCY/TRIAGE ETC OVER $25,000 AND CLIMBING.
THE PAD ASSY STEERING PART# 45130-04091-BO. EVIDENTLY THE PLASTIC CONTACTS ATTACHED TO THE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY BROKE OFF AND MY HORN WAS INOPERABLE WHEN ANOTHER CAR DRIFTED INTO MY LANE. HORN DIDN'T WORK. ALMOST CAUSED A SEVERE ACCIDENT. IT WORKED SPORADICALLY FOR MONTHS, THEN ANOTHER INCIDENT AGAIN WHEN DRIVER WAS TEXTING ON HIS PHONE AND DRIFTED AGAIN IN TRAFFIC. I CHECKED WITH TOYOTA SERVICE, THEY ALL KNOW THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH AIR BAG PAD ASSEMBLEY. I HARDLY USE MY HORN, ONLY WHEN NECESSARY, NO DRIVER OVER ABUSE HERE. I AM CONCERNED THAT THESE CONTACT POINTS BREAK OFF IN THE COLD WEATHER. THIS IS A REAL SAFETY ISSUE. I AM CONCERN THAT PEOPLE WILL NOT REPORT OR ARE DRIVING WITH NO HORN BECAUSE IT'S SO COSTLY TO REPLACE AIR BAG ASSEMBLY. INJURY AND LOSS OF LIFE IS REAL HEAR.
STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT FAILING BEEN A PROBLEM FOR TOYOTA FOR YEARS YET NO RECALL THIS IS A VERY BAD PROBLEM FOR IT IS DIFFACULT TO STEER AND STEERING WILL DOESN'T RESPOND TO COME BACK TO WERE IT SHOULD BE AFTER TURNING VERY DANGERIOUS SOME ONE IS GOING TO GET KILLED FROM THIS PROBLEM
FRAME RUSTING PREMATURE, THIS TRUCK HAS NEVER SEEN SALT IN THE WINTER.
FIRST LET ME SAY THAT THIS IS MY FIFTH TOYOTA TRUCK, ALL MANUAL TRANSMISSION 4 CYLINDER ENGINES, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THIS ONE, WHICH IS 6 CYLINDER (I DON'T HAVE THE OTHER VIN'S WITH ME NOW, BUT COULD DO SOME RESEARCH TO PROVIDE THEM IF NEED BE). A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO I NOTICED MY TRUCK'S STEERING BECOMING STIFFER, MAKING STEERING MORE DIFFICULT. I READ UP A BIT ABOUT IT, INSPECTED THE BELT (OK) AND CHECKED THE TRANSMISSION FLUID (LOOKED A BIT LOW). I DECIDED A FLUSH AND FILL OF THE TRANSMISSION FLUID MIGHT DO THE JOB AND DID SO SATURDAY, 11/19/16. IMMEDIATELY AFTER, I REALLY DIDN'T NOTICE MUCH OF A CHANGE. YESTERDAY, SUNDAY, IT SEEMED MORE NOTICEABLY STIFF. I RESEARCHED MORE AND READ THAT IT MIGHT BE DUE TO A CORRODED SHAFT ' MANY RECOMMENDED GREASE AS A SOLUTION AND OTHER RECOMMENDED A NEW SHAFT. TODAY IT WAS VERY STIFF AND EVEN A BIT WOBBLY ' MORE DIFFICULT TO CONTROL. I WAS READING UP ON HOW TO REPAIR THIS AND CAME ACROSS MANY OTHER WHO EXPERIENCED THIS AND SUGGESTED I FILE THIS SO THAT OTHERS MIGHT BE WARNED/PROTECTED. I LOVE MY TRUCK, JUST DON'T LIKE HOW THE CORROSION OF TACOMA'S RUINS EVERYTHING. HOPE THIS CAN BE OF HELP TO SOMEONE.
EXPERIENCING STIFF STEERING. TURNED ON A HIGHWAY AND HAD TROUBLE GETTING THE TRUCK STRAIGHTENED BACK OUT, ALMOST WENT INTO ONCOMING LANE.
POSSIBLE RUST CORROSION ON FRAME OF VEHICLE. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM IN A TACOMA TRUCK, 2000 MODEL YEAR. I WANT TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT THIS ISSUE DOES NOT AFFECT THE 2008 TACOMA I PURCHASED TO REPLACE THE OLDER VEHICLE.I STILL OWN THE 2008 TACOMA. I AM NOTICING A HUM IN THE FRONT END OF THIS VEHICLE.
I HAVE NOTICED THE STEERING IS STIFF WHEN DRIVING. IT WILL BE FINE THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, DURING A TURN IT WILL SEEM TO STICK. THIS HAS CAUSED CONCERN WHEN DRIVING AND WHEN IT HAPPENS UNEXPECTEDLY COULD RESULT IN OVERCOMPENSATION AND LEAD TO AN ACCIDENT. THIS SAME ISSUE HAS BEEN NOTICED BY SEVERAL OTHER OWNERS OF THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE AND HAS BEEN ATTRIBUTED TO THE INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT #2. THIS POSES A SAFETY ISSUE AND A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED TO PROVIDE A REPLACEMENT PART THAT WILL NOT HAVE THIS ISSUE.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V092000 (AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED A YEAR LATER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 109,000. UPDATED 11/17/16*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE SPIRAL CABLE WAS REPLACED IN 2015, BY TOYOTA UNDER RECALL. HOWEVER, IN SPETEMBER 2016, THE CABLE FAILED. THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONSUMER, IT WOULD NOT BE FREE OF CHARGE, BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN REPLACED PREVIOUSLY. UPDATED 11/17/16 .*JB

OUR 2008 TOYOTA TACOMA WAS MAKING A CREAKING NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR SUSPENSION. IN 12/2012, WE HAD TAKEN IT TO OUR MECHANIC WHO NOTICED THE SPRINGS SEEMED TO BE SAGGING BEYOND NORMAL & HE SUGGESTED WE REPLACE THE SPRINGS & SHOCKS. WE LATER RECEIVED NOTICE FROM TOYOTA REGARDING A LEAF SPRING RECALL. WE SENT TOYOTA THE APPROPRIATE PAPERWORK, WHICH WAS REQUESTED FROM TOYOTA, AS WE HAD ALREADY PAID FOR THE LEAF SPRING REPLACEMENT. WE WERE TOLD THAT "THE REPAIR PERFORMED ON YOUR VEHICLE DOES NOT MEET THE CRITERIA FOR REIMBURSEMENT." WE ARE REQUESTING AN APPEAL AS WE FEEL OUR LEAF SPRING SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED UNDER THE RECALL.

I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FROM TOYOTA AND WENT TO A DEALERSHIP ON MAY,16, 2016 AND WAS TOLD I MY LEAF SPRINGS REQUIRED REPLACEMENT, BUT THE PARTS WERE ON BACK ORDER. I CALLED ONE MONTH LATER AND WAS TOLD THE PARTS WERE ON BACK ORDER. I CONTACTED TOYOTA AND WAS TOLD "THERE IS NO ETA." REPEATEDLY. I HAVE RECEIVED E-MAILS FROM TOYOTA TO REPEAT THIS PHONE CALL AND WAS TOLD 'THERE IS NO ETA." LAST WEEK I WAS TOLD IN AN E-MAIL TO CONTACT MY DEALERSHIP. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THE PARTS ARE DUE BECAUSE " THEY ARE ON BACK ORDER". TOYOTA HAS TOLD ME THAT THE REAR SUSPENSION ON MY TRUCK REQUIRES REPLACEMENT. AFTER 7 WEEKS , AND REPEATED PHONE CALLS AND E-MAILS, I HAVE RECEIVED NO INFORMATION REGARDING WHEN THEY WILL BE REPLACED.

THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE PIPE THAT CONNECTED TO THE TANK LEAKED AND THE ENTIRE FUEL UNIT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. IN ADDITION, THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,000.
AIRBAG CLOCKSPRING SPIRAL CABLE ASSEMBLY FAILED. MAKE, MODEL, AND YEAR COVERED UNDER RECALL 12V092000 BUT NOT THIS VIN. PROBLEM STARTED WITH VOLUME CONTROL ON STEERING WHEEL STOPPED WORKING. ABOUT 2 MONTHS LATER THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT STARTED TO INTERMITTENTLY COME ON WHILE DRIVING. SOON AFTER THIS ALL THE ELECTRICAL STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS INCLUDING HORN AND CRUISE CONTROL STOPPED WORKING AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT WAS ON CONTINUOUSLY. I REMOVED AIRBAG AND STEERING WHEEL AND FOUND THE RIBBON CABLE INSIDE THE CLOCKSPRING ASSEMBLY COMPLETELY SEVERED (SEE PHOTO). I INSTALLED A NEW CLOCKSPRING P/N 843060E010 AND EVERYTHING IS NOW WORKING.

NHTSA RECALL: 14V-604 (LEAF SPRINGS RECALL) I ATTEMPTED TO HAVE MY LEAF SPRINGS REPLACED AFTER RECEIVING A LETTER FROM TOYOTA. TOOK THE VEHICLE TO BAYRIDGE TOYOTA IN BROOKLYN NY TO HAVE THE WORK DONE. WAS NEVER TOLD THAT IT WOULD REQUIRE TWO VISITS AND THE FIRST VISIT WAS ONLY FOR AN INSPECTION. THEN WHEN I WAS TOLD THE SERVICE WOULD TAKE ANOTHER TWO WEEKS IN ORDER TO GET THE PARTS IN, I WAS FORCED TO DECLINE THE SERVICE TO GET MY VEHICLE BACK. I SPOKE WITH TOYOTA REPRESENTATIVES AND THE NATIONAL PEOPLE WERE FRIENDLY AND RESPONSIVE AND THE BROOKLYN DEALERSHIP AT BAYRIDGE MADE IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO WORK WITH. THE TOYOTA RECALL LETTER ALSO NEVER MENTIONS TWO VISITS. IT ONLY SAYS THE SERVICE WILL REQUIRE TWO HOURS. THE TRUCK WAS DROPPED OFF FOR A DAY AND WAS RETURNED WITH A LIST OF OTHER THINGS THAT NEEDED REPLACING. THE DEALERSHIP NEVER ACTUALLY WROTE DOWN IF THE LEAF SPRINGS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, THEY ONLY LISTED THE EXTRA WORK THEY WANTED TO ADD ON. ALSO WHILE SETTING UP THE APPOINTMENT WITH BAYRIDGE TOYOTA THEY GAVE THE IMPRESSION THE WORK WOULD BE DONE DURING THE TIME IT WAS DROPPED OFF THE THE FIRST AND ONLY TIME.

FILLED UP GAS TANK, STARTED ENGINE, HAD FOOT ON BRAKE, PUT IN DRIVE, AND THROTTLE WENT WIDE OPEN, SPINNING REAR TIRE. I SHUT IGNITION KEY OFF AND RE-STARTED. PROBLEM CORRECTED ITSELF. I WAITED A COUPLE OF MONTHS MORE AND I WENT BACK TO GREENS TOYOTA AND WAS TOLD THAT THE RECALL WAS EXPIRED AND THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SERVICE MANAGER AND HE TOLD ME THAT THE MATERIAL FOR THE JOB WERE NEVER ON BACK ORDER AND HE DIDN'T KNOW WHY I WAS TOLD THAT. HE ALSO SAID THAT HE WAS SORRY BUT THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD. I THINK IT IS SAD THAT I WAS LIED TO ABOUT THIS MATTER WHICH CAUSED ME TO MISS OUT ON THIS RECALL FROM A MANUFACTURE THAT CONSIDERS THEMSELVES TOPS IN THE BUISNESS.
