There are 1 owner-reported visibility & wipers complaints for the 2014 Toyota Tundrain NHTSA's database. These are unverified consumer reports and may not reflect confirmed defects.
I RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2014 TOYOTA TUNDRA, AND THE REAR VIEW MIRROR IS NOT LARGE ENOUGH TO PROVIDE A VIEW OF THE ENTIRE REAR WINDOW, CAUSING REDUCED VISIBILITY AND THEREFORE INCREASING THE LIKELIHOOD OF ACCIDENTS. I BELIEVE THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD. I CONTACTED TOYOTA AND THEIR ACTION IS PUT MY REMARKS ON FILE. I BELIEVE THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW AND THE VEHICLES SHOULD BE RECALLED AND FITTED WITH A MIRROR THAT IS LARGE ENOUGH TO PROVIDE A VIEW OF THE ENTIRE REAR WINDOW. THE MIRROR APPEARS TO BE THE SAME SIZE AS A STANDARD CAR MIRROR. ARE THERE NO STANDARDS THAT REGULATE THE SIZE OF MIRRORS IN RELATION TO THE WIDTH OF THE REAR WINDOW? *TR
