SO FAR THE FRONT SUSPENSION MAKES A NOISE

Vehicle was rear-ended on November 4, 2022. The driver was wearing a seatbelt but the driver airbag did not deploy after being rear-ended. After the accident, the dashboard airbag indicator warning light turned on. The vehicle did not show any airbag issues or warnings prior to the accident. The emergency parking brake does not properly engage after the accident.
I have been waiting since 8/26/2022 for the part to correct the recall
The contact owns a 2009 Toyota Yaris. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was smoke coming from the driver's side front door. The dealer was made aware of the failure and scheduled an appointment for a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 83,000.
I HIT A SNOW BANK LEFT BEHIND BY A SNOWPLOW GOING 50 MPH AND AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED. WAS ON A HIGHWAY, IN MOTION WHEN THIS OCCURRED.
I AM LOCATED IN STRASSEN, LUXEMBOURG (EUROPE) AND TAKE MY CAR TO THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP (TOYOTA, 6 ZAI BOURMICHT, L8070 BERTRANGE) HERE FOR SERVICE. I AM RETURNING TO THE UNITED STATES DECEMBER 2020 AND REQUIRE ALL RECALL ISSUES TO BE ADDRESS PRIOR TO EXIT INSPECTION. UPON REQUEST TO THE LUXEMBOURG TOYOTA TO ADDRESS THE RECALL ISSUE ON THE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG INFLATOR, REPRESENTATIVES STATED THEY ARE NOT OBLIGED TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE NOR NOT PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION REGARDING INABILITY TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE IN THE FORM OF AN OFFICIAL WRITTEN REPORT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA YARIS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH, THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR AXLE FRACTURED MAKING THE VEHICLE INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE RESIDENCE. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 185,000.
I NOTICED THAT MY CAR WOULD NOT BRAKE PROPERLY IF I HAPPENED TO BE BREAKING OVER AN UNEVEN SERVICE YEARS AGO. SO, I DRIVE TO AVOID HAVING TO DO SO. BUT, THEN RECENTLY IT STARTED MAKING A SQUEALING NOISE ALONG WITH BREAKING. IT COMES AND GOES. THEN, A CLUNKING NOISE STARTED WHEN REVERSING. NOW, THE CLUNKING NOISE COMES IN EITHER DIRECTION. THE SQUEALING HAS GRADUATED TO SCRATCHING AND SCRAPING WHEN I ACCELERATE OR DECELERATE. IT COMES FROM MY FRONT, PASSENGER SIDE TIRE AND WHEN I TURN MY STEERING WHEEL ALL THE WAY TO THE RIGHT, IT GETS VERY LOOSE - WHEREAS TURNING ALL THE WAY TO THE LEFT STILL FEELS APPROPRIATELY TIGHT. I THINK THE LOOSENESS IS CONNECTED TO THE FRONT RIGHT PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL, AS IF A PIECE HAS BROKEN OR IS LOOSE - BECAUSE IT COMES AND GOES. THIS ALL HAPPENS WHEN I'M MOVING, NO MATTER WHAT TERRAIN IT IS (HIGHWAY, CITY STREET, ETC.) AND WHETHER I AM TURNING OR NOT.
I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT GOING 55 MPH IN THE PROCESS MY CAR CLIPPED A CURB AND IT SNAPPED MY AXEL CAUSING THE CAR TO GO HEAD ON INTO AN OBJECT ACROSS THE ROAD MY CAR ALSO FLIPPED NONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED.
I WAS TRAVELING ON HWY 58 TURNING ONTO HWY99 . CONSTRUCTION HAD IT DOWN TO 1 LANE. WAS GOING APPROX. 35 MPH WHEN MY FRONT DRIVERSIDE TIRE BLEW OUT, SENT CAR IN TO A RIGHT TURNING MOTION IN TO CEMENT DIVIDERS. AIRBAG DEPLOYED BUT DID NOT AIR UP. AIRBAG CAME OUT LIKE TUBE RIGHT INTO MY CHEST. WAS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL FROM ACCIDENT. WHERE THEY CONCLUDED THAT I HAD 3 BROKEN RIBS.
THE FRONT SIDE PASSENGER AIRBAG IS NOT WORKING WELL AND ALSO THE TYRE SENSOR IS SHOWING ON THE SCREEN WHILES TYRE PRESSURE ARE IN GOOD CONDITIONS
TAKATA RECALL. CRASHED MY YARIS GOING APPROX. 30 MPH. I BROKE A BONE IN MY ARM WHEN IT HIT THE STEERING WHEEL. THE AIRBAG DIDN'T DEPLOY AND I WAS RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE
WE ARE A SMALL NONPROFIT THAT RECEIVES CAR DONATIONS AND REFURBISHES THEM FOR LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES. WE RECEIVED THIS 2009 TOYOTA YARIS AS A DONATION WITH ABOUT 173K MILES ON IT. WHEN WE RECEIVED IT WE NOTICED THAT THE DRIVER'S SEAT SEATBACK WAS TORN IN TWO VERTICAL SPOTS. WE THOUGHT THIS TO BE THE RESULT OF THE PREVIOUS OWNER BEING OVERWEIGHT. UPON CLOSER INSPECTION WE FOUND THAT THE TWO STEEL VERTICAL SUPPORTS FOR THE SEATBACK WERE RAZOR SHARP AND WERE CUTTING THEIR WAY THROUGH THE FOAM OF THE SEAT AND THE FABRIC. IF ALL OF THE YARIS SEATS ARE BUILT THIS WAY THIS WOULD BE A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY ISSUE IN SEVERAL TYPES OF COLLISIONS. IN NORMAL USE A DRIVER WOULD HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS IN THE SEATBACK WAITING TO BE FORCE THROUGH IN A COLLISION.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE, BUT IT WAS NOT DETERMINED IF THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THERE WAS ONE INJURY THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE CONTACT SUFFERED FROM SEVERE PAIN AND COMPLICATIONS FROM A PRIOR MEDICAL PROCEDURE. IT WAS UNKNOWN IF THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000
TAKATA RECALL. ON JANUARY 12,2018 I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. A VEHICLE CUT ME OFF AND I HYDROPLANED WHEN BRAKING. THERE WERE MASSIVE STORMS OCCURRING. MY CONCERN IS THAT MY AIRBAGS NEVER DEPLOYED. I SLAMMED VERY HARD INTO THE MEDIAN RESULTING IN SOME LINGERING BACK SORENESS AND TRUTHFULLY A FEAR OF DRIVING IN THE RAIN. I RECEIVED A MAILER LAST WEEK NOTIFYING ME THAT THIS VEHICLE IS NOW PART OF AN AIRBAG RECALL. SEEN BY THE PHOTOS BELOW, THERE IS NO REASON WHY THESE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT HERE.

THE CONTACT CALLED BYRIDER DARTMOUTH (331 STATE RD, DARTMOUTH, MA 02747, (508) 992-0000) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THEY WOULD NEVER SELL A VEHICLE THAT WAS DAMAGED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY DID HOT HAVE VEHICLES WITH SALVAGE TITLES. THE CONTACT RESEARCHED THE VEHICLE ON CARFAX AND FOUND THAT IT HAD STRUCTURAL DAMAGE. THE DEALER REFUSED TO BUYBACK THE VEHICLE BECAUSE IT HAD STRUCTURAL DAMAGE, AND ACCUSED THE CONTACT OF ENGAGING IN A CRASH. THE CONTACT CURRENTLY REFUSED TO MAKE ANY MORE PAYMENTS ON THE VEHICLE AND DISPUTED THE CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE WITH THE DEALER. THE CONTACT DID NOT KNOW THAT THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V024000 (AIR BAGS). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND REMAINED PARKED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 108,261. *BF *TR
"TAKATA RECALL" NOTICE WAS SENT. WHEN I TRIED TO CONTACT A DEALERSHIP THERE WAS NO LOCAL DEALERSHIP ON HAWAII TO CORRECT THE ISSUE. I WOULD LIKE THIS ISSUE FIXED DUE TO THE "TAKATA RECALL" BUT NOT HAVE TO SEND MY VEHICLE TO THE CONTINENTAL US DUE TO THIS ISSUE NOT BEING MY FAULT.
TAKATA RECALL ELECTRICAL
INITIALLY THE DEALER DID NOT HAVE THE RECALL ITEM(S) IN STOCK. EVENTUALLY THE DEALER RECEIVED PARTIAL PARTS AND OTHER PART WAS BACKORDERED. FINALLY, I WAS TOLD THE PARTS WERE IN TO BRING MY VEHICLE IN FOR THE RECALL WORK. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED, HOWEVER, AS SOON AS I RETURNED HOME THE AIRBAG PANEL ON THE DRIVER SIDE DETACHED FROM THE AREA COVERING THE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY. I TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER IMMEDIATELY AND THEY ATTEMPTED TO CONNECT THE PANEL. I HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE BACK TO THEM ON TWO OCCASIONS FOR THE SAME ISSUE AND EACH TIME THEY HAVE ATTEMPTED TO PUSH THE PANEL BACK IN PLACE. THE PANEL IS NOW HANGING AGAIN EXPOSING THE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. I'M AFRAID THE AIRBAG MAY DEPLOY WITH THE PARTS BEING EXPOSED. I THINK THE DEALER BROKE SOMETHING THAT KEEPS THE PANEL IN PLACE AND IS NOT DOING WHAT REALLY NEEDS TO BE DONE TO ASSURE MY SAFETY...I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO ABOUT THIS OTHER THAN CONTACTING YOU GUYS AND PERHAPS THE TOYOTA ZONE OFFICE. WHAT IS YOUR SUGGESTION? I HAVE BEEN PUSHING IT BACK IN PLACE OFTEN MYSELF SINCE THAT TIME AND NOW IT JUST WILL NOT STAY IN PLACE.

THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED OFF THE ENGINE. A CERTIFIED INDEPENDENT MECHANIC CAME OUT TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE CIRCUIT BOARD WAS SMOKING. THE MECHANIC DISCONNECTED THE CIRCUIT BOARD TO PREVENT THE VEHICLE FROM CATCHING ON FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V689000 (VISIBILITY). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,185.
PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR EXPLODING WAS DRIVING MY 2009 YARIS THERE WAS NO ONE ON THE ROAD , NO TRUCK NO BIKE WAS ALL ALONE WHEN SUDDENLY HEARD A HUGE EXPLOSION, WHEN I LOOKED THE PASSENGER MIRROR WAS GONE SO WAS THE BACK OF IT. IT WAS VERY SCARY LUCKILY I WAS ON A SMALL ROAD NOT ON A HIGHWAY I WENT TO TOYOTA DEALER THEY DON'T BELIEVED ME GAVE ALL KIND OF STORIES SAYING THEY NEVER HEARD OF IT. THIS VEHICLE IS A DEATH TRAP - AND WHEN I CALLED TO SCHEDULE THE RECALLS AT MY LOCAL TOYOTA DEALERSHIP I WAS TOLD IT WILL TAKE OVER 30 DAYS FOR THE PARTS TO ARRIVE. WHEN I ASKED WHAT I AM SUPPOSED TO DO ABOUT DRIVING MY FAMILY AROUND IN MY VEHICLE THE REPRESENTATIVE SAID THAT TOYOTA ONLY "RECOMMENDS" YOU DON'T DRIVE PASSENGERS. IS THIS SERIOUSLY HOW TOYOTA WILL DEAL WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS? MY CAR SHOULD BE COMPLETELY RECALLED WITH THESE SORT OF ISSUES. THESE ARE NOT MINOR ISSUES.

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION FROM THE DEALERSHIP THAT THE REMEDY IS AVAILABLE AS DESCRIBED IN THE NHTSA RECALL NO. 16V-340 MAILING THAT WAS RECEIVED SEVERAL MONTHS AGO. I LIVE IN ZONE A AND MY VEHICLE IS ALREADY (7) YEARS PLUS YEARS OLD. I HAVE NOT ALLOWED ANYONE TO USE THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT AS RECOMMENDED WHICH IS VERY INCONVENIENT FOR PEOPLE WITH ARTHRITIS AND BACK ISSUES. HOW LONG WILL IT BE TO REMEDY THIS RECALL? THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
(TAKATA RECALL) THIS RECALL HAS BEEN OPEN FOR MORE THAN TWO MONTHS NOW AND IT IS VERY SERIOUS. THE REMEDY IS NOT AVAILABLE YET. I HAVE VISITED MY LOCAL DEALER IN LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA AND THEY TOLD ME TOYOTA DID NOT PROVIDE THE PARTS YET. WHAT ARE THEY WAITING FOR? I CANNOT HAVE MY FAMILY IN THE PASSENGER SEAT KNOWING IT IS DANGEROUS TO EVEN SIT THERE!
TAKATA RECALL. I WAS ISSUED A RECALL THAT HAS YET TO BE REMEDIED THAT MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH TO MYSELF OR A PASSENGER IN MY CAR. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DRIVE IN A DANGEROUS VEHICLE THAT I DEPEND ON TO GET TO WORK EVERY DAY? I THINK IT IS EXTREMELY NECESSARY TO AT LEAST PROVIDE A TIMELINE FOR THE REMEDY, OR AT THE VERY LEAST ALLOW ALL OWNERS AT SERIOUS RISK TO USE RENTAL CARS AT NO COST FROM TOYOTA.
I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN TWICE NOW WHERE I TRY TO PASS SOMEONE ON INTERSTATE 79 NORTHBOUND FROM PITTSBURGH TO CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP PA AND PRESS THE GAS PEDAL AND ONCE I GET TO SPEED THE PEDAL GOES TO THE FLOOR AND THE CAR GOES TO 80 + PER HOUR BEFORE I CAN GET IT TO SLOW DOWN OR STOP. LUCKILY BOTH TIMES THERE WERE NO CARS IN FRONT OR BEHIND ME THAT I COULD GET CONTROL OF THE CAR. THE FIRST TIME I ENDED UP PUTTING THE CAR IN NEUTRAL TO GET CAR TO STOP. TODAY SIMILAR SITUATION EXCEPT I WAS ABLE TO PUMP THE BRAKES VERY HARD UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO GET IT TO RESPOND AND SLOW DOWN BACK TO THE CORRECT SPEED. I WAS ASKED BY TOYOTA IF THE MATS ON THE FLOOR WERE OBSTRUCTING THE PEDAL, AND THIS WASN'T THE CASE IN EITHER INSTANCE. WHEN I CALLED TOYOTA CORPORATE OFFICE THEY WERE REFERRING BACK TO MY DEALER TO RUN DIAGNOSTIC TEST WHICH WILL COST ME TO HAVE DONE. I HAD THIS IN FOR SERVICE THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED AD WAS TOLD THEY FOUND NOTHING AND THAT THE NEXT TIME IT HAPPENED TO CALL SO THEY COULD HOOK UP TO A COMPUTER AND SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. TODAY WHEN I CALLED THE DEALER THEY WOULDN'T EVEN SCHEDULE MY CAR FOR SERVICE, GAVE ME CORPORATE TO CALL AND IF CORPORATE WANTED TO HAVE THE DEALER SERVICE THEY CAR THEY WOULD CALL THEM. I AM NOW WAITING ON THE DEALER TO CALL ME SO I CAN PAY TO HAVE THE CAR LOOKED AT TO TELL ME WHAT THEY MAY FIND. I PLANNED ON GIVING THIS CAR TO MY 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER FOR COLLEGE BUT I AM NOW CONCERNED WHAT SHE WILL ENCOUNTER AND WORRIED ABOUT HER SAFETY DRIVING IT.
OUR ONE-CAR FAMILY HAS BEEN VERY BURDENED BY THIS RECALL FOR MANY MONTHS BECAUSE THE CURRENT "SOLUTION" IS TO NOT HAVE ANYONE SITTING IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. THIS IS ALREADY A SMALL CAR AND WE HAVE LOST ONE SEAT DUE TO THIS ISSUE. IF TOYOTA CANNOT COME UP WITH A SOLUTION IN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME, THEY SHOULD COMPENSATE OWNERS OF THIS CAR FOR LOSS OF FRONT SEAT PASSENGER USE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA YARIS. WHILE DRIVING AT 30 MPH AND ATTEMPTING TO ENGAGE THE BRAKES, AN ABNORMAL SOUND EMITTED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FRONT SUSPENSION LOWER CONTROL ARM BOLT NUMBER TWO FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE.THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,600.
THIS RECALL HAS BEEN IN EFFECT FOR MORE THAN TWO YEARS WITH NO REMEDY PROVIDED. I ALSO AM CONCERNED ABOUT TAKATA AIRBAGS THAT MAY BE IN MY VEHICLE, BUT I DON'T SEE A RECALL NOTICE (ALTHOUGH I REGULARLY RECEIVE MAIL ABOUT POTENTIAL TAKATA AIRBAG RECALLS). THE POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH IN THE INVOLVED VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED WITH INSUFFICIENT LUBRICANT GREASE. RECALL STATUS RECALL INCOMPLETE REMEDY TOYOTA IS CURRENTLY PREPARING THE REMEDY FOR THIS CONDITION. ONCE REMEDY PREPARATIONS ARE COMPLETE, TOYOTA WILL SEND AN OWNER NOTIFICATION LETTER BY FIRST CLASS MAIL TO OWNERS OF VEHICLES COVERED BY THIS SAFETY RECALL. ADDITIONAL DETAILS ON THE REMEDY WILL BE PROVIDED IN FUTURE COMMUNICATIONS. SAFETY RISK DESCRPITION IF SUFFICIENT GREASE IS NOT APPLIED, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS THE SWITCH MAY DEVELOP A SHORT CIRCUIT THAT CAN CAUSE THE SWITCH ASSEMBLY TO OVERHEAT AND MELT. I HAVE RECENTLY NOTICED SOME STRANGE CLUNKING, POPPING AND SQUEALING NOISES COMING FROM MY CAR. AFTER HAVING MY MECHANIC LOOK AT IT I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE LOWER CONTROL ARM REAR BOLT WAS BROKEN AND PART OF IT REMAINS BUT IS NO LONGER CONNECTED TO THE CONTROL ARM. MY PASSENGER SIDE FRONT WHEEL WAS MOVING IN AND OUT APPROXIMATELY 2INCHES. IN MY RESEARCH I HAVE FOUND NO RECALL NOTICE FOR THIS ISSUE AND FEEL IT IS A LARGE SAFETY ISSUE.
I WAS INVOLVED IN A HEAD ON COLLISION INTO A UTILITY POLE ON A TWO LANE ROADWAY. I WAS FOUND UNCONSCIOUS IN MY CAR. I HAVE NO RECOLLECTION OF THE COLLISION ITSELF BUT NO OTHER CAR WAS FOUND TO BE INVOLVED. THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED THE MOST DAMAGE. I HAD MY SEATS BELT ON BUT NOT A SINGLE AIRBAG IN THE ENTIRE VEHICLE DEPLOYED, DESPITE THE DISABLING DAMAGE THAT OCCURRED TO THE VEHICLE. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO TOYOTA MULTIPLE TIMES SINCE THE INCIDENT OCCURRED YET ABOUT THE CONCERN OF NO AIRBAGS DEPLOYING YET WAS NEVER NOTIFIED THAT THIS WAS EVEN AN OPTION TO REPORT THE FAILURE OF THE AIRBAG TO DEPLOY IN AN ACCIDENT, ESPECIALLY WHERE THE HEAD ON COLLISION TOTALED THE CAR. THE PICTURES OF THE INCIDENT ATTACHED TO THIS REPORT WERE OBTAINED BY MY FATHER IN THE DAYS FOLLOWING THE ACCIDENT AND INCLUDE THE ROAD OF THE ACCIDENT AND THE CAR. THE STEERING WHEEL IS VISIBLY DEFORMED FROM THE IMPACT MY BODY HAD ON IT DURING THE CRASH. I FRACTURED THE C2 SEGMENT IN MY NECK AND TO THIS DAY STILL SUFFER FROM COMPLICATIONS FROM THE CONCUSSION AND INJURIES OF THIS CRASH ON A DAILY BASIS. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH NEUROLOGICALLY TESTING AND THERAPIES RELATED TO THE INJURIES. THESE INJURIES HAVE IMPACTED MY LIFE GREATLY AND I FEEL AS THOUGH MY CONCERN IS BEING DISREGARDED BY TOYOTA. I STRONGLY FEEL AS THOUGH MY INJURIES WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN NEARLY AS SEVERE IF THE AIRBAG DEPLOYED AND I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD LOOK INTO THE CASE. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A CONCUSSION AND UPPER BACK PAIN THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED; HOWEVER, THE BODY DAMAGE WAS REPAIRED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 14V168000 (AIR BAGS) AND 14V169000 (SEATS). THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIRS WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 71,000. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
