The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH at nighttime, the low-beam headlights started flickering, and then became inoperable. The vehicle decelerated and veered to the side of the road. The contact engaged the high-beam headlights and continued driving. The contact stated that he replaced the low-beam headlights relay several times. Additionally, the contact replaced the low beam headlights switch, bulb, and fuses; however, the failure persisted. The local dealer and a second dealer, Pohanka Chevrolet (13915 US-50, Chantilly, VA 20151) were notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in a recall. The contact related the failure to GM Campaign Number: N140291. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 133,000.
Low tire presher lights stay on even when the tire presher is ok. Also I want to say the anti sliding feature says it is not working as well. I could be wrong about this feature but there si a button on the gear shift that controls this option. The button will not turn it on and off.
SERVICE AIRBAG light came on last week. Took vehicle to dealership to fix. Parts are discontinued so airbag cannot be fixed per Ferman Chevrolet dealership. Also told me that airbag will not work if in an accident.
The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that the driver's side power master window switch had failed and failed to roll up the windows. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had caused a significant amount of water to leak into the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and the failure was inked to NHTSA Campaign Number: 13V248000 (Electrical System, Visibility); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 214,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
Keeps blowing #46 headlight relay. Happens every 2-3 weeks. When this happens the low beams stop working. I have to switch to high beams to continue driving.
I've had the brakes replaced because I thought they were an issue I was having with my ABS. But my car will randomly lock its brakes as I'm driving, no matter what speed. I'm scared to drive it. It also almost loses all power after breaking but then speeds up on its own making it almost impossible to slow down or brake.

The contact stated that the failure had occurred several times. The contact replaced the headlight bulbs three times, the fuse, and the switch. The failure persisted. The contact had spoken with the dealer who stated the headlamp driver module (HDM) module needed to be replaced; however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The manufacturer informed the contact that an unknown recall for the failure had expired. The approximate failure mileage was 200,200.
Speedometer and rms needles do not function.
Ive had to continueously replace the brakes axles, warped rotors . As well as needing to purchase tires for front end due to control arms malfunction. Constant replacemenf of front axle all causing rubbing, mis alignment and front end sitting inward. These replacements happen more than 3 times a year the last 3 years of ownership.
Fuel leak from line’s under truck
My headlights turn off bybthemselves while driving, other times they wont turn off at all after car is turned off even while in park, and other times they turn on while switched to off position randomly in the middle of te night resulting in a dead battery come morning. My driver window no longer works as well as driver power locks. Happening since 2020 random at first now permentant removal of fuse switch in order to shut off lights and the fuse switch is hot to the touch upon removal.

The hi-beam headlight would be used to provide adequate illumination. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V519000 (Exterior Lighting) which she linked to the failure. The contact had taken the vehicle to a dealer where she was informed that there were no recalls on the VIN. The contact was able to replace the module and fuses; however, the headlights remained defective. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was 219,000.
I NOTICED AROUND MARCH 18TH 2021,THAT MY HEADLIGHTS WAS OUT WHILE DRIVING AND JUST 2 DAYS AGO MY BATTERY DIED APRIL 12TH 2021 DUE TO MY IGNITION SWITCH BEING STUCK IT WAS PARKED ALREADY IN MY GARAGE
THE FIRST THING TO GO WRONG WAS THE POWER WINDOWS DON'T WORK PROPERLY IN THE WINTER, NOW THE AIR CONDITIONER ONLY BLOWS COLD AIR INTERMITTENTLY, AND THE MOST RECENT PROBLEM IS THE HEADLIGHTS WON'T WORK AT ALL, I CALLED THE LOCAL SERVICE CENTER AND THEY SAID THAT THE ELECTRICAL RECALLS WERE VIN SPECIFIC, EVEN THO I HAD THE CORRECT MAKE MODEL AND YEAR MY VIN DID NOT QUALIFY FOR THE RECALL! I'M VERY UPSET THAT THEY CAN BE VIN SPECIFIC BUT I'M HAVING ALL THE ISSUES ON THE RECALLS!! I CAN NO LONGER DRIVE MY VEHICLE IF IT IS RAINING, FOGGY, OR DARK BECAUSE I HAVE NO HEADLIGHTS!!! I ALSO LOST CONTROL OF MY CAR IN THE RAIN AND THINK IT HAS TO DO WITH THE STABILITRAK, THE LIGHT HAS BEEN ON FOR A WHILE, LUCKILY I STOPPED MY CAR BEFORE I CRASHED INTO ANYTHING
My doors have had water seeping in them the whole time and I’ve replaced my speakers multiple times.
FFUSE BLOCK CAUGHT ON FIRE BECAUSE OF BAD RELAY. THE LIGHTS WENT OUT ON MY WAY HOME FROM MISSOULA MONTANA TO HAMILTON MONTANA. THANKFULLY THE HIGH BEAMS STILL WORKED . ON OPENING THE FUSE BLOCK THE DAY AND LOW BEAM LIGHS RELAY HAD MELTED A 1/2 INCH HOLE IN THE FUSE BLOCK.

THE CONTACT WAS TOLD TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V519000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING) AND WAS TOLD THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED. WHILE DRIVING MY VEHICLE IT STARTED PRODUCING A LIGHT SMOKE THROUGH DEFROST VENT ON PASSENGER SIDE. I STOPPED AND OPENED THE HOOD TO SEE IF SOMETHING WAS ON FIRE IN THE ENGINE AREA AND THERE WAS NOT. I GOT BACK IN MY VEHICLE AND PROCEEDED TO DRIVE IT BACK HOME AND WITHIN SECONDS I HAD BLACK SMOKE ROLLING FROM DASHBOARD AND FLAMES SHOOTING FROM UNDER DASH ON PASSENGER SIDE HITTING PASSENGER SEAT NEXT TO ME I PULLED OVER AND MY SON AND I JUMPED OUT THANKFULLY HE WAS IN BACK SEAT AND THE CAR WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES WITHIN SECONDS. CAR IS TOTALED. PASSENGER WINDOW QUIT WORKING ABOUT A MONTH AGO BUT I FIGURED IT WAS A WINDOW MOTOR ISSUE BUT NOW I'M WONDERING IF IT WAS CONNECTED.
HEADLIGHTS WENT OFF ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS THIS PAST WEEK, IT ALSO HAPPENED ONCE BEFORE SEVERAL MONTHS BACK. THEY JUST SHUT OFF AND WHILE YOUR PANICKING AND HITTING THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH SEVERAL TIMES THEY FINALLY COME BACK ON. WE WILL NOT DRIVE IT AT NIGHT ANYMORE. WHY IS MY CAR NOT RECALLED WHEN OTHERS FROM THE SAME YEAR ARE. I HAVE BEEN WORKING IN MANUFACTURING FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS AND MY DAD WORKED ON THE GM ASSEMBLY LINE FOR THIRTY YEARS. DON'T KID YOURSELF THAT YOU KNOW WHICH BATCH OF PARTS WERE USED ON A PARTICULAR CAR. MY VIN IS DEFECTIVE.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer who informed the contact that they did not provide frame repair. The vehicle was taken to several mechanics who diagnosed that the subframe needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.
GAS GAUGE DOESN'T WORK. NEEDLE ON E AND LIGHT STAYS ON. PERSON I BOUGHT IT FROM REPORTS BROKEN WHEN SHE BOUGHT IT USED. I TRIP MILEAGE TO O WHEN I GET GAS. THEN BY # OF GALLONS I PUT IN I ESTIMATE HOW MANY MILES I THINK I CAN TRAVEL. IT'S NOT ALWAYS POSSIBLE TO KEEP TANK FILLED.
HAD RECALL REPAIRED AT DEALER. CAR CAUGHT FIRE DOOR PANEL SWITCHES. REPAIR HAS NOW FAILED AGAIN 12/23/2019. THE PREVIOUS INCIDENT, WIRES WERE BURNING IN THE DOOR PANEL. DOOR LOCKS AND LIGHT WERE OPERATING ERRATICALLY. THIS TIME THE DRIVER S CONTROLS ARE ALL INOPERATIVE. CAR WAS MOVING AT TIME, MADE TO HOUSE, CALLED FIRE DEPT VIA ONSTAR. CAR WAS AT DEALER SEVERAL DAYS. DID COMPLAIN SOMETHING STILL BANGING IN DOOR RADIO SPEAKER HAS NOT WORKED SINCE THEIR RECALL REPAIR
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS RANDOMLY GO OFF TOGETHER WHEN DRIVING AND OFTEN WILL NOT COME BACK ON FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. HAVE TO USE HIGH BEAM AFTER LOW BEAM GOES OFF.
WHILE DRIVING THE WHEEL JERKED TO LEFT. I CROSSING LAKE BRIDGE..I WONDER WHAT WAS THAT. THEN IT WAS LIKE I HAD 2 FLAT TIRES ON FRONT.. I SLOWED DOWN. JUST TO GET ACROSS BRIDGE TO PULL OVER.. EXTERIOR LOW BEAM LIGHTS, HEADLIGHTS TURNED OFF DURING DRIVING,. A HAZARD WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. HAZARDOUS TO DRIVER, OCCUPANTS AND ON COMING TRAFFIC BECAUSE WE HAVE TO IMMEDIATELY PUT ON HIGHBEAMS TO CONTINUE DRIVING.

HIT A POT HOLE IN MY TRAILBLAZER AS AND MY AIRBAGS DEPLOYED, I BELIEVE IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT THEY DEPLOYED WITHOUT AN IMPACT OF ANY KIND, BODY PANELS ARE ALL FINE AND IN GOOD SHAPE BUT THE BUMP JARD THE AIRBAG SENSOR ENOUGH THAT IT DEPLOYED THEM. THIS IN MY EYES IS A HUGE PROBLEM AND COULD BE A BIG RISK FOR SOMEONE BECAUSE THE AIRBAGS ARE MALFUNCTIONING.
THE SPEEDOMETER KEEPS MALFUNCTIONING. THE SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE STICKS AT A HIGHER SPEED AFTER DECELERATING OR STOPPING, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW WHAT SPEED YOU ARE DRIVING. THIS HAPPENS MOSTLY WHEN THE WEATHER WARMS UP, SPRING/SUMMER/FALL. MAKING A HARD BRAKING STOP, LIKE AT AN INTERSECTION, WILL SOMETIMES CAUSE THE NEEDLE TO DROP BACK 5-10 MPH, AS WILL TURNING THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON. MOST SPECIFICALLY, YESTERDAY, MAY 31, 2019, THE SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE WOULDN'T GO BACK DOWN AT ALL, AND MY SPEEDOMETER WAS "PEGGED" PAST THE TOP END OF 110MPH. I HAVE RESEARCHED ONLINE, AND THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON AND CHRONIC ISSUE WITH THIS MODEL.

THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. AUTONATION CHEVROLET MESA (6330 E. SUPERSTITION SPRINGS BLVD, MESA, AZ 85206) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
I HAVE HAD MY SUV SINCE 2011 HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH IT UNTIL ABOUT FEB. 25,2019. I HAD MY BRAKES REPLACED FTONT AND BACK ALONG WITH THE ROTORS. A WEEK AFTER THAT I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY COME UP TO A RED LIGHT WAS SLOWING DOWN AND WHEN I GOT TO 10 MPH IT STARTED TO PAULSATE AND WASN'T FOR SURE IF I WAS GOING TO STOP COMPLETELY. I FINALLY DID. I TOOK IT BACK TO MY MECHANIC HE CHECKED THE ABS TO SEE IF THE WHEELS WERE SPINNING AT THE SAME SPEED AND THEY WERE. WHEN I GO DOWN MY DRIVEWAY WHICK IS A HILL I'M NOT FOR SURE IF IT'S GOING TO FULLY STOP OR GO ON OUT IN THE ROAD, WE ARE ON A BLIND CURVE AND IT'S RATHER SCARING. ALSO I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE STABLILITY AND TRACK LIGHT COMING ON AND STAYING ON, I JUST RESTART MY SUV AGAIN FOR IT TO GO OFF. IT'S BOTH OF THE LIGHTS ON THE TRACK AND STABLITITY. MY DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT IS FRILLY ON ONE SIDE AND GETTING THINNER.
THE GAS GAUGE QUIT WORKING! I JUST PUT 50.00 DOLLARS IN MY GAS TANK AND DROVE 12 MILES TO GET MY THREE GRANDCHILDREN. WE WERE ON THE FREEWAY GOING 64 MILES PER HR IN THE FAST LANE. I HAD TO IMMEDIATELY GET OVER THREE LANES TO GET OFF THE FREEWAY BUT ONLY MADE IT TO THE SLOW LANE. I HAD TO CALL 911 BECAUSE IT WAS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. I ALMOST GOT HIT EIGHT TIMES WAITING FOR THE STATE TROOPER TO GET TO ME SO HE COULD PUSH US OUT OF HARMS WAY WITH HIS PATROL CAR. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS WASN'T A RECALL! THIS IS A BIG SAFETY ISSUE PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS.

AROUND 2019, I NOTICED THAT EACH TIME I STARTED MY TRAILBLAZER, THE "SERVICE AIR BAG" LIGHT WILL FLASH FOR A MINUTE, THEN GOES OFF, THEN COMES RIGHT BACK ON AND STAYS ON. THERE HAVE BEEN SOME DAYS WHEN IT ONLY FLASHED THEN WENT OFF, BUT AFTER ABOUT A FEW MONTHS, THE "SERVICE AIR BAG" LIGHT REMAINS ON. HAVE TAKING IT TO THE CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP TO GET A DIAGNOSIS. THE LIGHT REMAINS ON AT ALL TIMES. AFRAID THAT IF I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, THE AIR BAG WILL NOT DEPLOY!

ALL OF SUDDEN MY TAIL GATE WILL NOT OPEN UNLESS THE VEHICLE IS RUNNING AND I HIT THE UNLOCK BUTTON 5 OR MORE TIMES AND THEN AT TIMES THAT DOESN'T WORK ALSO MY AIRBAG LIGHT STARTING BLINKING AND NOW IT WON'T GO OFF. I CALLED ABOUT A RECALL AND WAS TOLD THERE WASN'T ONE FOR THIS PROBLEM BUT ON LINE IT SHOWED IT WAS. MY 2007 TRAILBLAZER SS HAS A MANIFOLD EXHAUST LEAK. THE BOLTS ARE BROKEN ON THE LEFT FRONT OF THE HEAD AND BACK BOLT OF THE HEAD ON BOTH SIDES. WE ARE GETTING EXHAUST GAS IN TO THE INSIDE OF THE TRUCK. THIS COULD CAUSE CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING. TO THE DRIVER IN THE VEHICLE, THIS IS VERY SERIOUS CONDITION.

I JUST BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE. THE HEADLIGHTS WON'T COME ON THE LOW BEAMS. I PULLED THE BLINKER HANDLE BACK FOR HIGH BEAMS TO COME ON. I HOLD IT BACK WHILE I MESS WITH HEADLIGHT SWITCH FINALLY LOW BEAMS COMES ON AND I CAN PUSH BLINKER HANDLE FORWARD TO ENGAGE HIGH BEAMS TO STAY ON.

LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WILL STOP WORKING
MY 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER HEAD LIGHTS GO OFF WHEN I'M DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. THEY DO COME BACK ON AFTER I STOP FOR A MINUTE OR TWO. I CAN'T DRIVE MY VEHICLE AT NIGHT BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE. I LOOKED UP MY TRAILBLAZER USING MY VIN NUMBER AND IT SAID THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON MY VEHICLE. I'VE HAD OTHER ISSUES WITH MY VEHICLE TO. :(
ELECTRICAL WIRING DOES NOT WORK CAUSING OTHER FUNCTIONS OF THE CAR TO NOT WORK.
ERRATIC FUEL GAUGE. FLUCTUATES CONSTANTLY BETWEEN FULL AND EMPTY. THIS OCCURS WHETHER THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION OR AT A STOP. WHETHER THE TANK IS FULL OR PARTIAL DOES NOT MATTER. CANNOT RELY ON GAS GAUGE ANY LONGER. COULD CAUSE A STALL WHILE IN MOTION WHICH WOULD BE A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINTS REGARDING THIS MATTER ALL OVER THE INTERNET. A RECALL SHOULD BE PUT IN PLACE. BEFORE SOMEONE DIES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING INSPECTED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE CONTROL ARM WAS SEVERELY CORRODED AND FRACTURED. AS A RESULT, BOTH LOWER CONTROL ARMS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT TO HAVE THE VEHICLE INSPECTED BY A CHEVROLET DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,912.
