I WAS DRIVING ON A CITY STREET WHEN MY SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED ON BOTH SIDES
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING AND COMPLETELY LOST POWER. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO SOUTH SHORE PRE-OWNED IN WEYMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS WATER IN THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 94,000.
THE DAYTIME AND LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WOULD TURN OFF RANDOMLY, WHICH WOULD MAKE FOR DANGEROUS AND UNSAFE DRIVING CONDITIONS. NOW THEY NO LONGER WORK. I HAVE RECEIVED A LETTER FROM CHEVROLET ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, BUT BECAUSE I HAVE MORE THAN 150,000 MILES ON MY CAR, I MUST PAY TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM FIXED. IT WILL COST ME MORE THAN $400 DOLLARS AND A ONE WAY TRIP OF 35 MILES TO MY NEAREST DEALERSHIP TO GET IT FIXED. THE PART CAN ONLY BE REPLACED BY A DEALERSHIP SERVICE CENTER, BECAUSE THE COMPUTER MUST BE REPROGRAMMED, FORCING ME TO USE THEIR SERVICES INSTEAD OF MY MECHANIC.
RECALLED, BEEN TRYING TO GET GM DEALERS TO REPAIR RECALLED DOOR SYSTEM SINCE PURCHASE OCT 2017. WENT OUT TO VEHICLE, OPENED DOOR SMOKE HAD FILLED INSIDE VEHICLE, DOOR PANEL WAS WARM. ALL KINDS OUT DASH LIGHTS BLINKING, POWER WINDOWS INOP.
TAKATA RECALL MY AIR BAG LIGHT WAS COMING ON AND OFF. THEN IT STAYED ON FOR GOOD. WHEN I HAD IT INSPECTED. THEY SAID IT WAS A SENSOR LOCATED WITHIN THE STEERING COLUMN. I'M WONDERING IF MY VEHICLE WAS OVER LOOKED UNDER THIS RECALL AND WOULD LIKE TO MAKE SURE ME AND MY FAMILY IS SAFE. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE USED BACK IN JULY 2017. I NEVER HAD ANY ACCIDENTS IN THIS VEHICLE. ITS AWKWARD FOR AN AIRBAG LIGHT TO COME ON. I'VE BEEN DRIVING GM VEHICLES FOR SOME TIME AND NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS.
TRUCK FAILED TO ACCELERATOR PEDAL DEPRESSED, ACTIVATING STABITRAK CONTROL.. HAD TO ACCELERATE THE PEDAL SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE THE TRUCK ACCELERATE ANS REACTED..HAD TO TAKE OFF STABILTRAK TO DRIVE THE TRUCK. CHANGED CHANGED HUBS AND SEVERAL SENSORS. GETTING NO CODES..TOOK IT TO SEVERAL SERVICE STATIONS INCLUDING THE CHEVY DEALERS AND GOT NO ANSWERS BUT TO WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR REPAIRS NOT NEEDED..I LOVE MY TRUCK DON'T WANT TO GET RID OF IT.
LOW BEAM LIGHTS STOPPED WORKING WHILE GOING DOWN THE ROAD. ## VIN PASSED ## CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER 2007 ##
THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED TWICE. IN 2016, MY CAR SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING AND I WAS ABLE TO START BACK UP. THE PASS LOCK FLASHED AND THEN IT SHUT OFF. I CHANGED THE KEY THINKING THAT WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM. IN 2017 THE SOMETHING HAPPENED AGAIN. I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY DON'T THINK IT'S THE IGNITION SWITCH AND THAT WAS IT.
I WAS PREVIOUSLY HAVING AN ISSUE WITH LOW BEAM LIGHTS, GM WOULD NOT FIX EVEN THO RECALLED. NOW PROBLEM WITH ALL LIGHTS GOING OUT I UNDERSTAND THERE IS A HEADLIGHT DRIVER MODULE PROBLEM NOW?I'M SURE GM WILL NOT FIX THIS ISSUE EITHER?
TAKATA RECALL THE STABILLTRAK LIGHT COME ON ALL THE TIME 2-3 TIME A DAY. I HAVE REPLACE THE WHEEL SENSOR, STEERING WHEEL SENSOR, NEW CABLE GOING TO THE WHEELS. EVER DAY IT COME ON AND WHEN I WAS GOING DOWN THE HIGH WAY AT 60-65 MILES THE LIGHT WILL COME ON. IT WILL STAY ON TILL YOU TURN THE SWITCH OFF.

DEALERSHIP QUOTED 330.00 FOR PARTS TO FIX... DEALERSHIP STATED RECALL HAD TO BE PAID FOR DUE TO VEHICLE BEING OVER 150,000 MILES...CONTACT RECEIVED RECALL LETTER FROM CHEVY IN MAY OF 2017. RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS
- THE LIFTGATE DOES NOT LOCK. - THE KEY FOB NO LOMGER WORK.
TRANSMISSION HARD SHIFTING, SLOW TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH LOCK UP AND HARD LOCK UP WHEN IT DOES. GOING DOWN A HILL THE TORQUE CONVERTER WILL UNLOCK WHEN LETTING OFF THE GAS AND WHEN STARTING UP ANOTHER HILL THE ENGINE WILL SPEED UP AND THEN IT WILL RE-LOCK WITH A JERK. LOWER GEAR SHIFTS HARD SOMETIMES AND SOMETIMES OK.
TROUBLE WITH MY IGNITION. SOMETIMES WILL NOT SHUT OFF AND UNABLE TO REMOVE KEY. HAPPENS EVERY TIME I USE IT.
POWER STEERING PRESSURE LINES LEAKING HEAVILY WHERE THEY PASS OVER THE LEFT WHEEL WELL. CANNOT SEE EXACTLY WHICH OF THE TWO LINES IS LEAKING AS THE LEAK IS UNDER A RUBBER CLAMP.
SOMETHINGS WHEN THE DRIVER TOUCHES THE IGNITION SWITCH KEY TO START THE VEHICLE, IT WILL START WITHOUT THE KEY BEING TURNED, JUST TOUCHED OR SLIGHTLY TURNED TO START.
RIGHT BRAKE LIGHT CONTINUES TO GO OUT AND THE CONNECTOR IS BURNED AND CORRODED. ALSO, I AM CONTINUOUSLY REPLACING MY HEADLIGHTS AND BRAKE LIGHTS. ONCE REPLACING, THE LIGHT WORKS FOR ABOUT 3-4 WEEKS. IT APPEARS THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE BRAKE LIGHT CONNECTOR CIRCUIT BOARD. PLEASE HELP!
THE PASSLOCK SYSTEM COMES ON AND STOPS ENGINE EVEN WHILE DRIVING, IT IS VERY DANGEROUS THIS HAS HAPPENED A NUMBER OF TIMES. THIS HAS HAPPENED TODAY ON THE HWY,AND WAS VERY ALARMING. GM HAS BEEN OF NO HELP

THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE EXCEEDED THE MILEAGE LIMITATION AND THEY REFUSED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. A DEALER HAD NOT INSPECTED AND DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS NOT PROVIDED WITH A SOLUTION FROM THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS UNCERTAIN OF WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD BE REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
WHILE DRIVING, MY LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS INTERMITTENTLY GO OFF MAKING THIS CAR UNSAFE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. THIS HAPPENED THE FIRST TIME AUG 20,2017 AND HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES SINCE AND SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE, 10-15 TIMES IN THE LAST MONTH. THIS HAPPENED THE FIRST TIME WHILE SITTING AT A STOPLIGHT. I WAS CLOSE TO THE MOTEL I WAS STAYING AT SO JUST DROVE STRAIGHT THERE. SINCE THEN IT HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING IN THE CITY AND ON THE HIGHWAY IN THE RURAL AREA I LIVE IN. MY DAYTIME DRIVING LIGHTS ALSO GO OUT IN THE SAME WAY.
WHILE OUT AT NIGHT HEADLAMPS AND RUNNING LIGHTS SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING. LIGHTS WERE OPERABLER WHEN I LEFT HOME BUT NOTICED THEY WERE OUT AS I WAS RETURNING. FUSES AND BULBS ARE GOOD.
DRIVER'S DOOR MASTER POWER WINDOW SWITCH MODULE, CAUSING A SHORTAGE HAD TO DISCONNECT THE THE SWITCH BOARD
SERVICE AIR BAG WITH WOULD PERIODICALLY COME ON AND GO OFF DEPENDING ON SPEED AND TURING THE STEERING WHEEL. IT FINALLY STAYED ON FOR GOOD. WAS TOLD BY ONE DEALERSHIP THAT IT WAS A LOOSE CONNECTION AND THAT IT WAS STILL SAFE TO DRIVE. DROVE IT LIKE THAT FOR A WHILE AND FINALLY HAD A CHANCE TO TAKE IT TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP. SAID THERE WAS A FAULTY PIECE IN THE STEERING COLUMN AND THAT IF I HAD BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, THE AIRBAGS WOULD NOT HAVE DEPLOYED.
THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR ELECTRICAL PANEL MALFUNCTIONS AND THE DOOR DOES NOT OPEN AND THE WINDOW DOES NOT GO DOWN AND THE WINDOW LOCK UNLOCKS AFTER BEING LOCKED. THE RACK AND PINION HAD TO BE REPLACED TWICE. THE CAR TURNED OFF WHILE DRIVING. THE LIGHT IN THE BACK WILL NOT WORK NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES THE BULB AND RACK HAS BEEN REPLACED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 75 MPH, THE LOW BEAM HEAD LAMPS TURNED OFF. THE CONTACT HAD TO SLOW DOWN AND PULL THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SHOULDER TO A COMPLETE STOP. THE CONTACT TURNED THE LIGHT SETTINGS KNOB, BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. AFTER APPROXIMATELY FIVE MINUTES, THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED EIGHT OTHER TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO JEFF SWEENEY CHEVROLET IN SPRINGFIELD, OHIO, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED DUE TO THE COST. THE CONTACT THEN DROVE THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC (CAR-X IN FAIRFIELD, OHIO) WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE HEAD LAMP DRIVING MODULE WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 149,000. UPDATED 08/23/17*LJ *CN
FUEL GAUGE DOES NOT PROVIDE ACCURATE READING. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT INDICATES FUEL LEVEL SENSOR. I DO NOT KNOW IF THERE IS FUEL UNLESS I RESET THE TRIP ODOMETER AND MONITOR.
WITH NO WARNING, BOTH HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT AND NO LONGER WORK. TURN SIGNALS, FOG LIGHTS STILL WORK.
VEHICLE SWAYS FROM SIDE TO SIDE WHEN SLOWING DOWN AND BRAKING
I FILED A COMPLAINT ON 5/1/2017 TRACKING NUMBER 10981579 CANNOT FIND A REPLY ON YOUR SITE. I TOOK MY SUV TO DEALER HAD IT CHECKED OUT IT SAID THAT THE SELT BELT PRETENSIONERS NEED TO BE REPLACED THAT THEY CONNECT TO AIRBAGS. WE HAVE NOT BEEN IN A ACCIDENT SO IT WOULD SEM THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THEIR BELTS. CHEVORLET GM STILL SAY THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR REPAIRS SINCE THERE ISN'T ANT WARANTY ON SUV. BUT IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE DUE TO MALFUCTION WITH THEIR BELTS .TO HAVE HAPPENED TO TWO SEATBELTS IT HAS TO BE IN MY OPINION. AND I DO NOT WANT SOMEONE TO GET HURT BECAUSE THEIR SEAT BELT CAN NOT UNLOCK AND THEY ARE TRAPPED IN THEIR CAR.
I WENT TO STORE VEHICLE WAS IN PARK. WHEN I WENT TO UNLOCKED MY SEAT BELT IT WOULD NOT UNLOCK. I TRIED SEVERAL TIMES AND MY HUSBAND ALSO TRIED.THE BELT WOULD NOT LOOSE UP SO THAT I COULD PULL OVER MY HEAD TO GET OUT IT JUST GOT TIGHTER. ANYWAY WE CAME BACK HOME AND ONE OF MY NEIGHBORS TRIED TO GET ME OUT.HE HAD TO UNDO BOLT TO BELT AND CUT WIRE.TO GET ME OUT. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT CAUSED THIS PROBLEM. THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY HUSBAND SEAT BELT LAST YEAR AND HE HAS TO PULL OVER HEAD TO GET IN AND OUT. I AM A HANDICAP PERSON AND WORRIED ABOUT THIS HAPPENING TO SOMEONE ELSE AND SOMEONE GETTING HURT.
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WILL GO OUT RANDOMLY WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT. I AM ABLE TO USE THE HIGH BEAMS, WHICH IS NOT SAFE FOR ONCOMING TRAFFIC. THEY WILL EVENTUALLY COME BACK. THIS IS A VERY AGGRAVATING ISSUE! THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING SINCE EARLY 2016.
I FIRST NOTICED THE PROBLEM OCT. 2016. THE LOW BEAMS WENT OFF ON MY 2007 CHEVY. TRAILBLAZER. I STOPPED AT AN AUTO PART STORE AND BOUGHT NEW LAMPS, WHEN I WENT OUT CHANGE THE LAMPS I NOTICED THAT MY LIGHTS WERE WORKING. SO I DIDN'T CHANGE LAMPS. THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN ON 04/2017 AND AGAIN THEY CAME BACK ON THEN RECEIVED THIS NOTICE IN THE MAIL, AND THOUGH THE TIME LIMIT HADN'T PASS THE MILEAGE HAD. IF I HAD RECEIVED THE NOTICE SOONER I WOULD HAVE HAD IT FIXED THEN. I WAS DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AT THE TIME! I CALLED THE 800 PHONE NUMBER ON THE NOTICE I EXPLAINED THE SITUATION TO THE PERSON ON THE PHONE AND I TOLD HIM THAT HAD GONE OVER 150,000 AT THE I HAD GONE OVER 3,000 MILES, HE TOLD ME THAT MY CAR WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF AND HE GAVE ME A CASE # ( 8-3085956921) HE SAID SOMEONE CALL ME WITH IN 24 HOURS. AFTER 2 DAYS SOMEONE CALLED ME AND SAID THAT COULD NOT REPAIR MY SUV BECAUSE I HAD GONE OVER THE 150,000 MILES.

THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO COVER THE COST OF THE REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 101,936.

THE CONTACT, AN AUTO MECHANIC, STATED THAT THE HEADLAMP DRIVER MODULE (HDM) OVERHEATED AND FAILED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE HDM WAS MELTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V519000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING). THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 101,386.
BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED FOR NO REASON.WAS STOPPED AT TRAFFIC LIGHT PROCEEDED TO MAKE EASY RIGHT TURN ACCELERATED AND BANG THOUGHT I HAD BEEN BROADSIDED. PULLED OVER INSPECTED CAR NO OUTSIDE DAMAGE ROAD WAS SMOOTH DIDN'T HIT ANYTHING .
WHILE OPERATING THE 2007 TRAILBLAZER, BOTH LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS WOULD INTERMITTENTLY FAIL. WE WERE ABLE TO SAFELY DRIVE TO OUR DESTINATION USING THE HIGH-BEAMS. CURRENTLY, BOTH LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS HAVE COMPLETELY FAILED. WE CONTACTED OUR LOCAL CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP TO COMPLETE RECALL 15V519000 BUT WERE INFORMED OUR VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL EVEN THOUGH WE ARE EXPERIENCING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEMS. *TR
NOT EXACTLY WHAT'S GOING ON WITH MY 2007 TRAILBLAZER LT 5.3, THIS IS AN INTERMITTENT ISSUE THE AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON THE DASH AND SAYS AIRBAG FAULT, IT'S NOT EVERY DAY BUT MOST OF THE TIME, I'M WORRIED BECAUSE WHAT IF I GET INTO AN ACCIDENT AND THE AIR BAGS NEVER HAD AN ISSUE TILL NOW. IT ONLY HAS 134,000 MILES, NOT SOMETHING I THINK SHOULD GO BAD, ALSO SOUNDS LIKE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING AN ISSUE. IS THIS A FUSE, A SENSOR? THE HEADLIGHTS ON MY 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER WORK AT TIMES, AND AT OTHER TIMES DO NOT WORK AT ALL. THE HEADLIGHTS MAY COME ON AT START UP, BUT THEN THEY STOP FUNCTIONING WHILE THE VEHICLE IS BEING DRIVEN.SO FAR THE HIGH BEAM LIGHTS AND RUNNING LIGHTS HAVE CONTINUED TO WORK. THERE APPARENTLY IS A RECALL NUMBER (14291) BUT WHEN I CONTACT GM, I AM TOLD THERE IS NOT AN OPEN RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM. PLEASE HELP WITH THIS ISSUE. MY TRAILBLAZER SPRUNG A MAJOR POWER STEERING FLUID LEAK. I LOST POWER STEERING AFTER COMING OUT OF A GROCERY STORE, IT WAS -10 DEGREES OUTSIDE AND I USED MY AUTOSTART WHILE INSIDE THE STORE. I CAME OUT AND DID NOT HAVE P/S AND NOTICED A LARGE PUDDLE UNDER THE CAR. I LOOKED UNDER THE HOOD WHEN I GOT HOME, AND THE HIGH PRESSURE HOSE DISCONNECTED FROM WHERE THE HIGH PRESSURE HOSE MEETS THE METAL TUBE BEFORE ENTERING THE RACK
LOW HEADLIGHTS (BOTH) ARE OFF CONTINUUALLY. HIGH BEAMS ARE OK, NO MATTER WHICH POSITION DASH HEADLIGHT SWITCH IS IN. HIGH BEAMS COME ON WITH STEERING COLUMN CONTROL, BUT NOT LOW BEAMS. REPLACED RELAYS AND FUSES ALTHOUGH ORIGINALS CHECKED OK.. REMOVED EACH HEADLIGHT NACELL ASSEMBLY AND CHECKED EACH LIGHT INDIVIDUALLY WITH SEPARATE SOURCE 12V. ALL OK. METER CHECKED HI-LO HEADLIGHT PLUG, 12V OK ON HI WIRES, NO VOLTAGE ON LO WIRES. PROBLEM EXIST WHETHER CAR IS RUNNING OR NOT. I AM STUMPED!

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 180,000.

THE FAILURE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 88,000.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PART WAS PURCHASED AND REPLACED IN THE VEHICLE, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000.

THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V519000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 86,000.
MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING ABOUT 40 MPH ON A COUNTRY PAVED ROAD WHEN HIS SIDE AIRBAGS WENT OFF. HIS RADIO AND LIGHTS STARTED FLASHING. HE WAS ABLE TO GET HOME THE MILE OR SO, PARKED THE CAR AND SHUT IT OFF. WHEN HE WENT TO START IT THE NEXT DAY NOTHING WORKED. HE WAS STARTLED BY THIS HAPPENING AND WAS LUCKY HE DIDN'T CAUSE AN ACCIDENT OR GET HURT. HE COULD HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT VERY EASILY DUE TO THE VISIBILITY. NOT SURE WHAT CAUSED THIS TO HAPPEN. - UNKNOWN THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A CHEVY DEALER BUT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO DIAGNOSIS IT SO AT THIS POINT WE ARE NOT AWARE OF EXACTLY ALL THAT WAS EFFECTED WITH THE VEHICLE. I HAVE ATTACHED THE DENIAL FROM OUR INSURANCE. *TR
WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT, THE HEADLIGHTS TURN OFF. THEY TURN OFF FOR ABOUT 5-7 MINUTES THEN TURN BACK ON FOR 2-3 MINUTES. IT WILL CONTINUE DOING THIS TILL I GET WHERE I AM GOING. IT WILL DO IT EVERY TIME I DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE,GM RECALL 14291. I HAVE CONTACTED CHEVY DIRECT AND THEY WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SINCE MY VEHICLE IS NOT LISTED UNDER THE RECALL. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. SINCE THERE IS A RECALL ON THIS ISSUE, CHEVY SHOULD FIX IT EVEN THOUGH MY VEHICLE IS NOT LISTED. THE HDM IS DEFECTIVE AS PER THE RECALL ISSUED. *TR
