Recall 19V-293 Post Remedy Failure Recall was already performed previusly. Vehicle would not shift out of drive. Even when PRNDL lever was moved. Had to drive to dealer and have the Bushing replaced a secound time. In other had to have recall fix done to vehicle for a 2nd time. Should be added to Investigation ID: RQ25002
MY CAR HAS 34,000 MILES AND I CAN'T FILL UP AT A GAS PUMP. IT WILL FUEL FOR 2 SECONDS AND CLICK OFF. I CALLED DODGE BUT IT'S NOT LINGER UNDER THE FACTORY WARRANTY DUE TO TIME. THE CAR IS BRAND NEW AND IV NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH ANY OTHER VEHICLE. I'M NOT EVEN SURE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AND FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN ONLINE NEITHER DO THE DEALERS AND I'M NOT GOING TO SPEND THOUSANDS GETTING THIS PROBLEM LOOKED AT WHEN IT BARLEY HAS ANY MILES ON IT.
IN MOTION - ON I-75 EXPRESSWAY, ENTRANCE RAMP MERGE. COULD HAVE BEEN LIFE THREATENING OR FATAL TO STALL WHILE MERGING ONTO EXTREMELY BUSY EXPRESSWAY. WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE IT WILL STALL AT DIFFERENT TIMES, NO WARNING, NO WARNING LIGHTS, ETC.. VERY DANGEROUS. GRANDDAUGHTER WAS ENTERING THE EXPRESSWAY AND JUST AS SHE WAS MERGING THE CAR STALLED. SHE WAS STILL ROLLING AND SWERVED OFF THE EXPRESSWAY ONTO THE EMERGENCY STRIP AND THEN GRASSY AREA. SHE BARELY AVOIDED A SEMI SIDESWIPE/COLLISION. BEFORE TAKING CAR TO DEALERSHIP, WAS TOLD OVER THE PHONE IT COULD BE CAUSED BY A DROP IN OIL PRESSURE. THAT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. THEY WANTED TO JUST DO AN OIL CHANGE TO SEE IF THAT CORRECTED THE PROBLEM, BUT I INSISTED THE CHECK FUEL PROPULSION, BECAUSE IT SEEMED LIKE FUEL PUMP/INJECTORS OR FUEL LINE WAS CAUSING PROBLEM. COME TO FIND OUT IT HAS A FAULTY THROTTLE BODY. WE JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR IN APRIL 2018 AND IT ONLY HAS ABOUT 40,000 MILES ON IT. WITH ALL THE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS SAME TYPE OF ISSUE, SHOULD THE THROTTLE BODY BE CHECKED FOR PROBLEMS AND POSSIBLE RECALL??? I SPENT 3 HOURS ON THE SIDE OF THIS EXPRESSWAY WAITING FOR A TOW BECAUSE THE CAR WAS NOT DRIVEABLE.
TAKATA RECALL I BOUGHT A DODGE DART 2015 UNDER THE FACTORY WARRANTY AND EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE DAY OF JULY 19, 2016. AFTER THE 3 DAYS THE CAR STOP WORKING WHEN I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET AT STOPLIGHT. I CALLED A TOW TO TAKE IT TO MY AUTOMARKET TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THE DIAGNOSTIC WAS THE GAS BOMB PROBLEM WHICH ITS COVERED AS THE AUTOMARKET SAID. ONE WEEK LATER DODGE CRAYSLER RAM CALLED ME TO SAY THAT WHEN THEY OPENED THE GAS BOMB THE MECHANIC FOUND WATER INSIDE SO SOME PARTS WERE CONTAMINATED AND THE FACTORY WARRANTY DOESNT COVERED. THEY SAID THAT THOSE THINGS HAPPENED AND IS NOBODY FAULT BUT I HAVE TO PAY THEM FOR THE SERVICE A TOTAL OF 1140 DLLS WHICH I DON'T HAVE . MY DEALER WHO'S MAZDA EL CAJON DOESN'T WANT TO USE MY EXTENDED WARRANTY EITHER AND ALSO WANT ME TO PAY. I HOPE YOU CAN HELP WITH THE PURCHASE OF MY FIRST CAR THANK YOU
