PROBLEM: I CAN HEAR A CLICKING OR SLIPPING SOUND WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL IS TURNED IN EITHER DIRECTION. I PAID $138 FOR A DIAGNOSES TO FIND OUT THE STEERING SHAFT HAS TO BE REPLACED, THE COST $750, IVE NEVER OWNED A CAR THAT REQUIRED THE STEERING WHEEL TO BE REPLACE WHILE MAKING PAYMENTS ON THE CAR OR ANY OTHER TIME, I BOUGHT THE CAR NEW. A STEERING WHEEL PROBLEM IS SERIOUS, WHY WOULD YOU EVER HAVE REPLACE CRITICAL PARTS LIKE THAT ON A CAR?
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
