When it gets warm outside, the seatbelt on the driver's side freezes in the resting position, so I cannot buckle up before I drive. It takes a while before I can use the buckle. This means I either drive unsafely to a meeting or wait for the inside of the car to cool down enough to buckle up to drive. I have let Ford know (case number: CXH-02550071-N4S4M4).
I brought a 2015 Ford Fusion and the airbags was missing as well as unrepairable overheating issues in the engine. I replaced the whole cooling system and the reason for overheating still can’t be determined. I brought the car for $5000 and had $3000 of work done and it is still not drivable. The dealer refused to fix it or give a refund. I still have not been able to drive the car.
1.Air bag-control module :P&A RCM failed. 2.control module not working that's mean upon impact the sensors will send the signal to the control module ,but the module will not be able to initiate the deployment of the airbags, putting the passengers of the vehicles at risk. 3.yes the component been inspected by ford dealership . 4.yes airbag lamp is on. a month ago the lamp is on.
The right rear passenger seat belt to my 2015 Ford Fusion stopped functioning several months ago. The strap that goes over the passenger's shoulder is stuck for reasons I am able to determine.
On May 15, 2023 I got in my car, proceeded to drive off when I noticed that the airbag light was still illuminated on the instrument panel. I notified the dealership the next day and dropped my car off on May 17, 2023. On May 19 a diagnostics test was run and revealed that I had a faulty seat belt buckle. I declined service on the car. This was shocking to me since I took my car to them less than 4000 miles and less than a year ago for the airbag light staying on again in 2022. At that time it was revealed that it was the passenger seat position sensor & it was repaired. In 2020 my car was also a part of Recall 19S25 for the seat belt. In 2018 repairs were also done on my car due to the airbag light coming on as well. I'm driving the car but now don't know if it is safe to drive. When I picked up the car, the light was still on but about 4-5 days later the light went off by itself. The passenger seat has barely been used since I purchased the car in 2015. After the repairs were done in 2022, the seat/seat belt has not been used so I don't understand how it can be faulty. It seems to me that there's a defect somewhere and it should be investigated. I would appreciate if this is given serious consideration. When I spoke with Ford Motor Company, they told me to contact you to have you investigate the matter. I am working with the Customer Relations Rep with Ford of Franklin- [XXX] at [XXX] regarding this matter. INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

AIR BAG LIGHT CAME IN, FORD DEALER SAYS SEATBELT RETRACTOR PIN BROKEN, ELECTRICAL CONNECTION CORRODED AND ENTIRE ASSEMBLY NEEDS REPLACED! THE HAVE A SERVICE ALERT ON THIS PROBLEM BUT NO RECALL. AIRBAG WILL NOT OPERATE UNTIL FIXED! CANNOT AFFORD THE COST OF REPAIR! HELP!
I have a 2015 ford fusion with around 37000miles. But the sealing between air bag and passenger side dashboard are broken. I'm afraid that the air bag might pumped out under normal condition if the cracks are too big. I think it could be quality issue. It could be very dangerous and put our lives at risk. Besides that, there was no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. I called Ford customer service, they said that it could be their quality problem. However, they won't take the responsibility because they don't have recall for that issue. I think it put mine and my family's lives at risk, and I do need to bring attention.
I WAS STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN AND WAS HIT HEAD ON AND THE AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED. DAMAGE TO MY GRILL, HOOD, BUMPER, SIDE PANELS AND DRIVER SIDE DOOR WOULDN'T OPEN. THE IMPACT SHOULD HAVE CAUSED MY AIR BAGS TO DEPLOY. IT WAS A HARD ENOUGH IMPACT THAT IT ACTUALLY MOVED MY CAR. AIR BAGS DO NOT WORK.
LAST YEAR I TOOK MY FUSION IN FOR A COUPLE OF RECALLS AT GARY SMITH FORD. ONE OF THE TWO RECALLS REGARDED MY FRONT PASSENGER SEATBELT. IT WOULDN'T EXTEND OUT PROPERLY WITHOUT HAVING TO TAKE EXTRA MEASURES. I HAD A RECALL LETTER IN THE MAIL REGARDING THIS ERROR AND IT WAS APPARENTLY NOTED THAT THE BELT WAS FIXED, BUT IT IS STILL NOT.
THE BACK DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT IS STUCK AND WILL NOT COME OUT. THE RETRACTOR KEEPS LOCKING UP. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN A COLLISION. THE BREAKS WERE NOT EVER HIT HARD. IT WORKED FINE THE DAY BEFORE. THE NEXT MORNING, MY CHILD TRIED TO STRAP HERSELF UP AND IT WOULD NOT COME OUT. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY IN THE DRIVE WAY. THE OTHER SEATBELTS WORK FINE.

THE DRIVER'S SIDE SEATBELT OR PASSENGER RESTRAINT ONCE UNLOCKED TO GET OUT OF CAR THE RESTRAINT (BELT) APPARENTLY WENT ALL THE WAY BACK UP IN THE HOUSING LEAVING MY DAUGHTER WITHOUT THAT SAFETY FEATURE WHEN SHE CAME OUT OF WORK TO DRIVE HOME. AFTER SHE GOT HOME AND TINKERED WITH THE HOUSING IT SOUNDED LIKE A METAL BALL MOVED INSIDE THE HOUSING AND SHE WAS ABLE TO GET THE BELT TO RELEASE AND HASN'T HAD A SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM SINCE. ALL OF THIS HAPPENED WHILE STATIONARY. SHE WAS ABLE TO PUT THE RESTRAINT ON THAT MORNING. DIDN'T NOTICE THE PROBLEM UNTIL SHE GOT BACK IN THE CAR TO COME HOME. SO THE CAR WAS PARKED FOR 10 HOURS, AS SHE DIDN'T NOTICE IT UNTIL SHE GOT IN THE CAR TO DRIVE HOME. APPARENTLY HAPPENED WHEN SHE GOT OUT OF THE CAR AS SHE HEARD NOTHING UNUSUAL WHEN SHE EXITED THE PARKED CAR TO GO INTO WORK. IT WAS WHEN SHE CAME OUT AND GOT IN THE CAR THE SAFETY BELT WOULDN'T RELEASE FROM THE HOUSING PART OF THE SAFETY RESTRAINT.
