Driver side seat belt suddenly stopped working. Initially it was stuck and would not deploy. Eventually it released and was able to be drawn and buckled, but does not restrain passenger when tested manually; driver was not restrained when the car was braked quickly. rom 35 mph to a full stop. There is a December 5, 2016 NHSTA recall on front seat belts May not restrain Occupants (NHSTA Campaign number 16V875000) and and a Ford Recall number 16S42. Car was purchased from a Ford dealer in 2018-2019 as a used vehicle. Current dealer indicates it may cost from $400-1200 to replace the seat belt.
Rear passenger seat belt will not release lock/tension/broken. Will not allow rear occupants to buckle in. Safety issue. Seems to happen on most 2013+ ford vehicles specifically trims like titanium with a 'inflatable belt" This issue should be recalled free of charge, It is a major safety issue not to be able to use a seatbelt. The best remedy would be inspect and replacement of broken components. Both occurred over 80k miles one being a truck (entirely different vehicle)
air bag light comes on sometimes not other car panic alarm goes off at random times backup camera sometimes work sometimes glitches
My airbag light suddenly came on this morning and my light blinking off for the airbag was blinking my whole trip to work. I've also had my catalytic converter replaced and my check engine warning still says their is an issue when everything has been replaced Lights on my mirrors also don't cut on when someone is in my blind spots the symbol is there but they don't light up My back up camera has not worked correctly since a few weeks after I got the car. I have taken it to the dealership and their stating it happens in these vehicles sometimes.
After the car has been sitting in the sun with the sun shining on the drivers side door, on a warm day, the seatbelt on the driver side cannot not be extracted until the car cools down. This has happened several times. I have talked to the dealer and he says that he has not seen this problem before. I have googled the issue and it appears that I am not the only one who has had this problem. I’ve had to drive several times without using my seatbelt as I cannot use the seatbelt.
I went to pick my daughter up from school as usual and the brakes would not work when I tried to stop in the turn loop. It caused me to crash the side of the car into a cement light post.
The Airbags lights showing it is off and not functioning.
The drivers seatbelt is stuck and will not release to allow me to buckle myself in.
When I got into my car today, the “airbag” symbol near the speedometer as well as the dash kept flickering off and on. My trip was 20 minutes and the illumination flickered off/ on the entire time. My car is steadily becoming increasingly unsafe to drive
After a rear-end collision, my passenger front air bag light comes on intermittently. Because of this, I don't know if the air bag was compromised or if the collision caused a faulty sensor. I can't get an answer from Ford.
The airbag sensor keeps popping on and off in the car… Also, the car is not shifting properly between gears… There is supreme hesitation involved.. there is so much noise coming from the steering column and/or the airbag system.. just out of the blue
Air bags failed to deploy during a roll over accident. Vehicle is in the possession on State Farm insurance.
On August the 17th, 2022 at approximately 1 pm our vehicle was rear-ended and was pushed into another vehicle from a dead stop in a traffic jam by a Chevy Van traveling between 45 and 50 mph until impact. Not a single airbag had deployed during or after the accident.
seatbelt and airbag lights won’t go off, constantly dinging. code reader says there’s an issue with my restraint system
Driver front seat belt locks into position making it difficult to pull out. It also gets locked once the seatbelt is in place. This is an ongoing problem and happens whether the vehicle is on or off.
A number of times last summer when really hot with the car out in the sun, the driver side seat belt would not pull open enough to allow buckling. One time I had just enough room to buckle, but it was a very tight and uncomfortable restraint. Must be the spring retracting mechanism? Was fine all fall and winter, but can’t risk not being repaired/replaced.
2016 FORD FUSION. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO AN ISSUE WITH THE BODY CONTROL MODULE. THE CONSUMER STATED IN 80 DEGREE WEATHER THE WINDOWS WOULD NOT ROLL DOWN AND THE A/C WAS INOPERABLE. ON SEPARATE OCCASIONS THE RADIO BECAME INOPERABLE, THE DISPLAY SCREEN WENT BLACK, THE DOOR LOCKS FAIL, AND THE HEATING/DEFROST/COOLING SYSTEM FAIL.
THE AIRBAG COMES ON WHEN CAR IS STARTED AND STAYS ON. EVEN WHILE DRIVING.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND THE FRONT AIRBAG MALFUNCTION LIGHT CAME ON. IT WAS RAINY AND ROADS WERE WET WHEN IT CAME ON.
MY CAR SEAT UNDERCARRIAGE IS DISATTACHED. I TOOK MY CAR IN TO A NEARBY FORD DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD MY VIN NUMBER WAS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECALLS. ALTHOUGH MY CAR'S VIN DID NOT HAVE A RECALL, I AM HAVING THE SAME ISSUES AS EVERYONE ELSE THAT HAD A RECALL. I WAS UNABLE TO ADJUST MY CAR SEAT FOR SUITABLE DRIVING AND THEREFORE ENDED UP HAVING AN ACCIDENT. I TRIED TO REACH OUT TO SEVERAL COMPANIES IN REFERENCE TO MY SEAT ISSUE. NO ONE COULD HELP ME BC MY VIN NUMBER DIDN'T MATCH. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET ASSISTANCE WITH THIS ISSUE SINCE 6/2020 BUT WAS TURNED AWAY AT PLATIMUM FORD IN TERRELL TX. PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE I HAD A WRECK 12/28/20 MY AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY UNTIL AFTER THE CRASH. THE FORCE OF THE AIR BAG BROKE MY HUSBANDS ARM, I AM NOT PLEASED WITH FORDS RECALL PROCEDURES BECAUSE ALL DEFECTS THAT HAPPENED TO MY CAR PRIOR TO MY WRECK WERE BEING OVERLOOKED BECAUSE MY VIN NUMBER DID NOT MATCH THE RECALLS LIST. I FEEL LIKE JUST BECAUSE A CAR WAS NOT MANUFACTURED IN A CERTAIN AREA AND IN A CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME SHOULD ALL BE ACCEPTED IF A FLAW ALIKE WHAT'S NOTIFIED.
