25 mph mild frontal collision caused a fire to start in the door panel as identified by the driver and the fire dept. The fire caused a majority of the cabin to burn and the vehicle to become a total loss in under a minute. Front airbags deployed but not side airbags. Electrical system in left door possibly malfunctioned causing a fire, evident by the fire reigniting every time the fire fighter ceased using the fire extinguisher. Driver was right next to the damaged electrical and was almost hurt by the fire, almost resulting in severe burns or death to the driver had they not escaped the cabin a few seconds before ignition. The problem has not been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others. There were no warning lamps or messages prior to the failure.
The bolts on engine valve cover come loose and back out over time causing the engine to leak oil
The backup camera is intermittently working on my car. The trunk also intermittently opens from both the fob and dash controls. Sometimes the trunk will not open at all. These are problems related to the wiring harness.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Mustang. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the brake pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to stop. The contact stated that the emergency brake was engaged however, the vehicle crashed into the curb. The brake warning light was illuminated. The contact then stated that the driver’s side seat belt failed to operate and was seized. As result, the contact sustained an injury to her neck and finger. No medical attention was needed. The air bags failed to deploy. No police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the master cylinder needed to be replaced. The vehicle cylinder was replaced but failed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the master cylinder needed to be replaced but diagnosed that nothing was wrong with the seatbelt. The manufacturer was notified of the failure however, the contact stated that they hung up the phone. The failure mileage was approximately 78,000. The consumer stated the vehicle was sold because of the ongoing problems.
I would like to file a complaint against Ford in regards to a door latch issue with my 2016 Mustang convertible. Starting in April 2021, the passenger side door will become unlatched on it's own while driving even with doors locked. It doesn't open entirely but enough to trip "door ajar" light and interior lights. Since that time in April it happened in June of 2021 and again in August after which I took car to a dealer. Door came unlatched at normal speeds between 40 and 60 mph. The car is under an extended warranty from Ford and the car now has approximately 37,000 miles on it. I am the original owner. The dealer kept car for about a weeks time and said they could not duplicate it. They told me warranty wouldn't honor it since they couldn't duplicate the issue and it would cost around $600 to fix possible issues. They asked me several questions implying I was imagining it or I didn't know what I was talking about. I've been driving for about 50 years. Since August, it has happened 2 more times, once at highway speed on 10/17/21 and again yesterday, 01/11/21 also at highway speed. This time my son was sitting in passenger seat. He is a Ford trained mechanic although he doesn't work for Ford but works on Ford police fleet cars. I do believe this is a safety issue but Ford will not address the issue. I took it to Ford corporate and they backed the dealer. I believe it will only get worse as time progresses. Wouldn't cover under warranty but if I wanted to pay they would do whatever I wanted them to do.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle, the check engine warning light was illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the mechanic discovered a misfire in cylinder #3. The coil and the spark plug in cylinder #3 were replaced; however, the check engine warning light intermittently illuminated as the temperature gauge indicated that the engine was hot. The contact took the vehicle back to the mechanic where they discovered that the coolant level was low and recommended that the vehicle be taken to a dealer. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the diagnostic test discovered that coolant had leaked into cylinder #3 and that the engine needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided a case number. The contact was then referred to the NHTSA for assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 59,000.
Purchased the car around 40k miles. Did all the maintenance required for 3-4 years with it now at 98k miles. On the evening near Christmas eve as i was at the red light making a right turn i heard clank from the bottom of my engine, then metal pieces were falling off to the ground. Smoke was coming out from the engine, with the oil pressure illuminating light on. I pulled over to see a trail of oil, while looking under I saw a big whole on the bottom of the engine block. Good thing it didn't happened when I was driving at a higher speed and I was by myself vs having my kids with me. Geico would not cover my blown engine, and ford knows this is a known issue referring to "Ecoboom" but i no longer have warranty with them. Car has been sitting at the shop pending 6500 to have the engine replaced. With covid times we are living in right now i dont know what else to do.
Many times, the passenger door has unlocked and opened while the vehicle was in motion. The door ajar light will come on and it happens without warning at various speeds. I am the original owner and the car has approximately 28,000 miles.
Steering wheel airbag did not deploy in a high speed crash. The knee airbag DID deploy. My daughter was in an accident with another vehicle. The other vehicle was traveling about 40 mph. It was a very high impact crash that launched by daughters car about 30 feet. The steering wheel airbag did not deploy. As a result my daughter hit her and and received a severe concussion. She was wearing a seat belt. The vehicle is in the process of being classified as "totaled" by insurance company but they have not inspected the specific airbag issue. There were no warning lamps or messages indicating the airbag was non-functional.
Right rear turn signals and break lights occasionally fail to work. Turning the car off and on 3-4 times temporarily resolved the issue but eventually this temporary fix failed and I was told the entire rear tail light assembly would need to be replaced. An alternative to this total replacement might be found in Ford Special Service Message 47429 where Ford will reprogram the body control module which supposedly corrects the issue.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Mustang. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the driver’s side door would unlock without warning. The contact stated that the door ajar warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in a recall. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000. It is both driver's side and passenger side door that would open not unlock. It would open into the second stage. Happens regularly and at different speeds on different road conditions.
Ford Motor Company and the NHTSA issued a recall on 2/15/2022 on my 2016 Ford Mustang model vehicle a few months ago. It was "Back over prevention: sensing system: camera". Recall no. 22V082000. Also, Recall Number: 22S06 DECKLID WIRING UNIVERSAL CAMERA FRETTING CORROSION. Ford sent me a letter on 2/17/2022 alerting me of the recall indicating that a resolution to this issue would come about early in the second quarter of 2022. It feels like we're now approaching quarter 3 of the year and I have yet to be notified of repairs and my rear view camera is now completely not functioning at ALL. When I've searched recently for this recall, there is no longer any more information on the Ford website, nor the NHTSA website. I find that completely bizarre. I'd love to car the proper repairs immediately being that Ford guaranteed that it would be repaired accordingly to resolve the recall issue. Can you please look into why this recall has disappeared from your website, from Ford's database, and please help me get my car repaired>
Engine threw a rod and damaged several pistons. Car has only 86,000 miles on it. Routine maintenance was done on schedule. No warning lights or symptoms were present before the incident. This will now require a full engine replacement. The incident happened while driving causing a major loss of power and eventually the inability to safely get my vehicle out of traffic. My car is still sitting at my mechanic and is available for inspection. It was only diagnosed and no repairs have been performed. The current COVID situation has made it impossible to even secure a replacement engine. Ford should be held accountable based on the number of related issues reported. I’m now paying on a car I can’t drive or repair l.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Mustang. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V082000 (Back Over Prevention) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was not contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the rearview camera would go blank while reversing. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
Clutch pedal failed. Welds broke away from break clutch housing. Resulting in the inability to disengage transmission. I was forced to use the breaks to stall the vehicle. Towed to repair shop. Replacement part was not available. Had the shop weld clutch pedal back to the assembly. See pictures.
Around September of 2021 the backup camera on my 2016 Ford Mustang convertible began to fail to show a viewable image. After visiting a dealer who wanted $500 to replace the camera, I watched this video from a Ford Master Mechanic to realize my problem (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71Onbo8PgrY). Upon examination, I discovered that there were two zip ties, one in the trunk and the other at the body, severely restraining the free movement of the wiring as the trunk open/close. I clipped those zip ties and then carefully opened the wiring cover at the junction of the trunk and body. Several of the wires in the harness, including a coaxial cable, showed stripping of the wire's plastic cover and wire damage from the severe constraint caused by the tie's compression. This is clearly a factory manufacturing error and should be recalled for replacement or repair.
I have had my 2016 mustang for 5 years already with 29k miles , my warrantee has expired. I recently notice I had check engine light for P0456 Evaporative Emission Leak. I took the car to get smoke test by my local shop mechanic and it came that there fuel vapor coming out of capless filler neck, since every ford model after 2013 don't have gas cap nomore I would have to replace the whole gas filler pipe which is around $500 for part and labor. In other cars you can just change gas cap for 20$ buh since in my case my car doesn't have gas cap i would have to replace the whole gas pipe filler and ford doesnt offer any gas cap for my car. I feel like if i do change my gas filler pipe , mabey couple years from now it's gona start giving same check engine problem. I also feel safety concern i do live in Arizona where gets really hot and with fuel vapor coming out capless filler it might cost a fire. I have 3year daughter that likes to ride in my mustang but i don't let her intill this gets fix i don't want her smelling gas . Im hoping with this recall ford can fix the issue and work on better design and or make a gas cap to fix evap leak without having to spend hundreds of dollards.thank you
The vehicle is having the same issues as the 2015 and 2017 models. The passenger door will unlock and unlatch by itself while driving. Luckily the 4 times it has happened it has been while driving in a straight path and not going on a turn in which the door could fully open and cause an accident or someone or something to fall out of vehicle. In Looking at the 2015/2017 recalls, Ford is replacing the "Pawl spring tab" My vehicle thereby fails to comply with the requirements (FMVSS) 206, DOOR LOCKS AND DOOR RETENTION COMPONENTS. Unfortunately there are no recalls at the moment.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the passenger and driver’s side doors would open inadvertently even though the doors were locked. The dealer was made aware of the failure but informed the contact that there was no recall associated with the Vin. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but informed the contact that there was no recall associated with the Vin. The failure mileage was 85,000.
Passenger door opens randomly while driving at highway speeds. Lights come on door unlatched and opens. Even when no one is in the passenger seat.
Seat heater and cooler no longer working. Problem looks like the module burned the connector. Plastic female end is burnt black and the plastic is melted. Concerned that this is a fire safety issue
Consistent failure of mustang air conditioning evaporator consistent with Ford TSB18-2256. Evaporator has failed 3 times, leading to at least one A/C compressor replacement. Failed evaporators are not available. Vehicle has less the 40k miles. It is unsafe for driver during extremely hot days. The problem has been reproduced and serviced by ford dealerships. There were no major symptoms prior to failure. Just slowly degrading AC performance.
BACKUP CAMERA NOT WORKING. CAR HAS POOR VISIBILITY WHEN BACKING UP WITHOUT THE CAMERA. MESSAGE SAYS CAMERA NOT AVAILABLE. THE DEALER SAID IT?S THE WIRING HARNESSES AND WANTS $900.00 TO REPLACE . FORD HAS BAD DESIGN WITH THE SHORT CABLE IN THE TRUNK AND THE MATERIAL USED TO WRAP THE WIRES.
DOORS OPEN FLYING WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION
Random smell of burning electrical wiring soo strong I thought the car was catching fire, I had to pull over and check for smoke but didn’t find any. A few days later I realized the heated seats stopped working… did some Research and found the plug connector underneath the passenger seat melted.
L LAST MARCH 2020 I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR INSPECTION AT MY FORD DEALERSHIP (WYNNE FORD HAMPTON VA) AND INSPECTOR FAILED MY STATE INSPECTION BECAUSE OF THE BACKUP LIGHT NOT WORKING. THE ELECTRICAL WAS REPAIRED. NOW MY BACKUP CAMERA IS NOT WORKING. SAME PROBLEM WITH THE ELECTRICAL WIRING. OSHA STD HAS A QUALITY WORKMANSHIP. FORD HAS MADE A POOR WORKMANSHIP FOR THESE SAFETY DEVICES. NEED A RECALL AT NO EXPENSE FOR CONSUMERS FOR THEIR POOR WORKMANSHIP RELATED TO SAFETY. TOO MANY INDIVIDUALS REPORTED WITH THE SAME ISSUES.
UPDATE INFORMATION THE PROBLEM IS THE BACKUP CAMERA. POOR DESIGN AND INSTALLATION WITH POSSIBLE SHORTNESS OF LENGTH OF WIRING CREATING TOO MUCH TENSION. ANY DEVICE SAFETY DEVICES NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED. THE OTHER PROBLEM LAST MARCH I HAD TO PAY IS THE THIRD BACKUP LIGHT BECAUSE OF POOR WIRING DESIGN.
TRANSMISSION WILL GO INTO NEUTRAL WHILE TRAVELING ON HIGHWAY 280 A HIGHLY TRAVELED STATE HIGHWAY IN ALABAMA, CAUSED BY A BAD TRANSMISSION OUTPUT SENSOR
APPROXIMATELY 31,000 MILES BUT WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED DUE TO LAPSE OF TIME - HE A/C HAS FAILED DUE TO WHAT THE DEALERSHIP CALLED A KNOWN ISSUE; HOWEVER, EVEN THOUGH MILEAGE WOULD STILL BE UNDER WARRANTY BECAUSE THE CAR IS GREATER THAN 3 YEARS OLD THEY WILL NOT COVER THIS COSTLY REPAIR
HEATED AND COOLED SEATS STOPPED WORKING. I CHECKED SOME FORUMS AND FOUND OUT IT WAS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM. THIS PIN FOR THE GROUND ON THE WIRE ASSEMBLY THAT CONTROLS THE SEAT IS THE ONLY ONE, AND IT IS COMMON FOR IT TO COMPLETELY BURN OUT AS SEEN IN THE PICTURE. AS IT'S IN THE CABIN, UNDERNEATH THE PASSENGER SEAT, IT IS VERY DANGEROUS FOR IT TO BE BURNING THIS WAY.
THE REAR CAMERA HAS GONE OFF AND ON FOR MONTHS NOW IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL..THE DEALERSHIP HAS TOLD ME THERE HAVE BEEN MANY WITH THIS PROBLEM THE HARNESS IN THE TRUNK GOES UP AND DOWN WITH THE OPENING AND CLOSING OF THE TRUNK CREATING STRAIN ON THE WIRES CAUSING CAMERA FAILURE.. DEALERSHIP WANTS 1000 TO FIX THIS AND MY CAR HAS 32000 MILES ON IT THE EMERGENCY BREAK STICKS BECAUSE THE SLEVING AROUND IT GETS STUCK NOT ALLOWING THE RELEASE OF THE BREAK
My backup camera, GPS, and satellite radio lost connection. I could not see behind me or find my location. The wiring harness going to the trunk stopped working. Dealership told me it was due to a “faulty design from the factory” and that it was from “opening and closing the trunk too much.” They replaced it, forced me to pay nearly $600, and told me to keep my receipts in case it ever becomes a recall. Not sure if this applies to every model or just the convertibles. I still see glitches periodically even with the new one.
I smelled a burning smell when turning on seat heater. Seat heater no longer provides heat, but indicator switch light up as if heater should be on. The burning could have led to fire in passenger compartment of vehicle. I have not taken the vehicle in to have this serviced. I inspected the wiring harness and the “M” pin is clearly burnt (I have photos). There were no warning lights. I can press switch to turn on seat heater and the lights turn on as if the seat heater were working, but no heat.
IN MY 2016 FORD MUSTANG ECOBOOST CONVERTIBLE, THE PASSENGER DOOR HAS OPENED (UNLATCHED) MANY TIMES WHILE I HAVE BEEN DRIVING. THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN WRECKED DUE TO MY KNOWLEDGE AND THE CARFAX. THIS DOESN'T OCCUR OFTEN, BUT WHEN IT OCCURS, IT HAPPENS MULTIPLE TIMES IN THAT DAY. IT USUALLY OCCURS WHEN DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE. THERE IS A RECALL OUT FOR 2015 FASTBACK MUSTANGS FOR THIS ISSUE. BUT I PRESUME THERE IS A SIMILAR ISSUE WITH 2016S.
BURNED ELECTRICAL CONNECTER CONTROLLING FRONT SEAT HEATING AND COOLING. THE FOLLOWING IS FROM THE REPAIR WORK ORDER: #1 91MBZS SEATS INTERNAL GUEST STATES HAVC FOR FRONT SEATS NOT GETTING COLD OR HOT BURN CONNECTOR GOING TO THE HVAC CONTROL UNIT UNDER THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. I STARTED OFF MY CHECKING POWER TO THE HVAC MODULE TO SEE IF THERE WAS A SHORT BEFORE THE CONTROL UNIT. I REMOVED THE SEAT AND HVAC MODULE TO CLEAN THE PINS ON IT THAT WERE AFFECTED BY THE CONNECTOR. AFTER THAT I REPLACED SEAT HARNESS THAT GOES TO THE HVAC CONTROL MODULE. I THEN PUT THE SEAT BACK IN AND CLEARED THE CODES. BOTH THE HEATED AND AIR CONDITIONED FUNCTION OF THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEAT WORK. QTY PART NUMBER DESCRIPTION UNIT TOTAL 1 MBEU5Z14A699C WIRE ASSY INTERNAL TOTAL PARTS: 0.00
THE HEATED AND AIR CONDITIONED SEATS STOPPED WORKING ALTHOUGH THE DASH INDICATOR SHOWS THAT IT IS ON. A SEARCH OF THE INTERNET SHOWS THAT IT IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM ON 2015-2016 MUSTANG MODELS. THE CONNECTOR UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT SHOWS A SEVERELY BURNED CONNECTION AS INDICATED IN THE ATTACHED PHOTO. THIS APPEARS TO BE A VERY SERIOUS AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED VIA A RECALL.*DT
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Mustang. The contact noticed a blister on the hood of the vehicle. The contact called the local dealer and sent photos of the fractured hood via email. The dealer called back to inform the cause of the blister was the corrosion. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The contact was referred to a collision shop. The vehicle was taken to the collision shop and was informed that the hood needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact took the vehicle to another local dealer, Five Star Ford of Warner Robins (900 Russell Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA 31088, (478)215-8381) and was provided with the same information and informed that the hood needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 3,400.
WHILE COMING TO A STOP WITH THE CLUTCH PRESSED IN THE CAR WILL RANDOMLY TURN OFF INTERMITTENTLY. THIS HAS NOW JUST BEGAN HAPPENING, ALTHOUGH IT HAS NOW HAPPENED TO ME TWICE IN 1 MONTHS TIME. I HAVE ALSO BEEN READING ON S550 MUSTANG FORUMS (YEARS 2015 - PRESENT) THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE EXPERIENCING THIS. IT SEEMS LIKE AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE OR SOMETHING AS THERE ARE PEOPLE WITH COMPLETELY STOCK CARS THAT ARE AFFECTED BY THIS, AND ALSO PEOPLE WITH 2018+ NEWER MUSTANGS AS WELL.
AFTER HAVING THE CAR FOR 5 MONTHS (59,000 MI) THE ENGINE BLEW UP WHILE DRIVING 60MPH ON A STATE HIGHWAY AND DROPPED ALL OF ITS OIL. THE ECOBOOST MUSTANGS ARE INCREDIBLY PRONE TO THIS ISSUE AND FORD IS JUST SWEEPING THEM UNDER THE RUG. FORD HAD MY CAR FOR 4 MONTHS WHEN IT WAS MISFIRING (WHICH IS HOW "ECOBOOM" BEGINS) AND REPLACED ALMOST EVERYTHING UNDER THE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY MINUS THE ENGINE, TRANSMISSION AND TURBOCHARGER. WHEN I GOT THE CAR BACK IT STARTED TO JUMP TIMING THEN MISFIRE THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT STOPPED. THEN THE ENGINE BLEW UP.
IN MY 2016 FORD MUSTANG ECO-BOOST, I STARTED MY VEHICLE AND NOTICED THE AIR WAS NOT AS COOL AS IT WAS IN THE PAST. I DID NOT PAY MUCH ATTENTION AS I DID NOT HAVE FAR TO DRIVE. THE NEXT TIME I STARTED THE VEHICLE THE AIR CONDITIONING HAD STARTED TO BLOW WARM AIR, AFTER AWHILE I NOTICED A WHITE FILM ON THE INTERIOR OR THE CABIN. I LOOKED UP SEVERAL FORUMS ON WHAT THIS ISSUE COULD BE AND THERE ARE MULTIPLE MUSTANG OWNERS OF THIS YEAR THAT ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME THING AND IT SEEMS TO BE THE EVAPORATOR CORE. SO I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL MECHANIC AND THEY INFORMED ME IT WOULD COST $1900 TO FIX THE SYSTEM DUE TO THE LABOR OF TAKING OUT THE DASH. I HAVE BEEN A FORD OWNER ALL MY LIFE AND THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that the rearview camera would project a blank or distorted image while in operation. The contact then received a notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V082000 (Back Over Prevention). The dealer was notified about the recall and informed the contact that the vehicle had to be inspected before performing the recall repair. The contact stated that the vehicle had been inspected on three separate occasions but each time the dealer failed to perform the recall repair. The contact stated that the recall notification did not mention any stipulations regarding the recall repair. The manufacturer and the dealer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Mustang. The contact stated while driving 35 mph, the contact heard an unlatching sound and an alert message of the door being ajar. The contact noticed that the front passenger’s side door was slightly opened. The contact pulled over to the side road and closed the door however, the failure recurred several times. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who inspected the vehicle and diagnosed the failure with the door latches. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,200.
THE HEATED/COOLED SEATS STOPPED WORKING. FOUND A BURNED PIN IN THE CONNECTOR UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT.
WHILE I WAS DRIVING I HAD MY DEFROSTER ON, AND I NOTICED THE PASSENGER SIDE STARTED TO FOG UP, BUT NOT THE DRIVER SIDE. WHEN I GOT TO A RED LIGHT, I FELT THE PASSENGER SIDE BLOWING COLD AIR INSTEAD OF HOT AIR WHICH CAUSED ME NOT TO SEE WELL DUE TO HALF THE WINDSHIELD BEING FOGGED UP. AFTER DOING RESEARCH, I FOUND OUT THAT A LOT OF OWNERS WITH 15-17 MUSTANGS HAVE THIS ISSUE AND IT HAS TO DO WITH THE BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR. I REPLACED THAT PART AND INSTALLED IT AND IT WORKED FOR 2 DAYS AND WENT OUT AGAIN. AS IT GETS COLDER I FEAR THIS IS GOING TO CREATE MORE OF A SAFETY HAZARD. I TRULY FEEL THAT THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL BY FORD CONSIDERING THIS IS A SAFETY FUNCTION.
I SEE THE NEWS ABOUT THE NEW RECALL OF REAR-VIEW CAMERAS GOING BLANK AND NOT SHOWING IMAGES. THE NEW RECALL IS ONLY FOR 2020 MODELS BUT MY 2016 MODEL HAS HAD THE SAME ISSUE FOR THE LAST YEAR AND 1/2. I ONLY HAVE 20K MILES ON MY MUSTANG. REAR VIEW CAMERA WORKS SOMETIMES BUT OTHER TIMES IS BLANK AND MESSAGE ON SCREEN SAYS CAN'T DISPLAY IMAGE. OCCURS WHEN IN REVERSED WHILE BACKING UP.
AIR CONDITIONING IS FAILING AFTER 60,000 MILES. SUSPECT IT IS THE ALREADY WELL DOCUMENTED EVAPORATOR CORE GOING BAD.
