2016 FORD MUSTANG WITH 2.3L ENGINE WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. ENGINE STALLS WHILE COMING TO A STOP AT A STOPLIGHT AND DOES NOT RESTART MAKING THE VEHICLE INOPERABLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD.
MY CAR WAS PARKED AFTER DRIVING AROUND 2 MILES AND HAD BEEN OFF FOR AROUND 2 HOURS.WHEN I RETURNED TO CAR, IT WOULD NOT START AND GAVE ME A MESSAGE SAYING KEY WAS REQUIRED. DASHBOARD LIGHTS, RADIO, AIR BLOWER CAME ON BUT ENGINE WOULD NOT TURNOVER, JUST MADE CLICKING SOUND. I THOUGHT KEY FOB WAS PROBLEM SO TRIED THE SPARE ONE. WHILE WAITING FOR HUSBAND TO BRING EXTRA FOB I NOTICED AIR COMING OUT OF BENTS SMELLED LIKE SULPHER. WHEN SPARE FOB DID NOT FIX PROBLEM, WE CHECKED THE BATTERY AND FOUND THAT THE POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL HAD EXCESSIVE CORROSION AND IT WAS SO HOT THAT IT WAS BUBBLING AND THE TENINAL BOLT HAD COMPLETELY CORRODED AND FELL OFF UPON TOUCH. UPON INSPECTION, WE ALSO SAW THAT THE CORROSION HAD ALSO DAMAGED THE END OF THE BATTERY CABLE. FIVE DAYS PRIOR MY VEHICHLE WOULD NOT START AFTER DRIVING AROUND 30 MINUTES AND ALSO SAID "KEY REQUIRED" BUT WHEN I TOOK THE FOB APART TH O LOOK FOR BATTERY AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER MY CAR STARTED ON THE NEXT TRY. OTHER THAN THAT INCIDENT, THERE HAD BEEN NO PRIOR WARNING THAT ANYTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE BATTERY AND I HAD NO ISSUES STARTING MY CAR.

THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER AND PLANET FORD SPRING (20403 INTERSTATE 45, SPRING, TX) WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
DRIVING (IN MOTION)AT A HIGH OR LOW SPEED THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON IMMEDIATELY CHANGE THE SPEED OF THE VEHICLE STALLING WHICH COULD'VE CAUSE ME MY LIFE AND INNOCENT OTHER DRIVER THEIR LIFE WITH THE VEHICLE STALLING AS SOON AS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON 270 HIGHWAY IN MARYLAND. I TRIED TO DRIVE ON THE STREET TO PARK MY VEHICLE DURING A SLOWING SPEED THIS PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN THAT A VEHICLE ALMOSTED REAR END MY VEHICLE DUE TO THE SUDDEN STOP AND STALLING .I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE BRAND NEW LESS THAN 25000 MILES . I WAS RESEARCHING MANY FORD OWNERS HAD THIS SAME ISSUE WITH LESS OR HIGH MILES . WHY HAVEN'T FORD MAKE A RECALL FOR EVERYONE SAFETY. CODE P144C IS A COMMON PROBLEM REPORTED BY CONSUMERS
DOOR LATCH ALLOWS DOOR TO OPEN WHEN DRIVING. PAWL SPRING TAB IN DOOR MAY BE BROKEN AND WAS PART OF THE FORD 2015 RECALL TO FIX. MY CAR IS A 2016 BUT MADE WITH 2015 PARTS.MY DEALER WON'T FIX THE PROBLEM. RECALL # 16S30
MY CAR'S A/C BROKE DOWN WHILE DRIVING EARLY JULY OF THIS YEAR. IT TOOK FOUR VISITS TO THE DEALERSHIP TO IDENTIFY THAT THE EVAPORATOR CORE WAS THE ISSUE. BEFORE THIS, THE SCHRADER VALVES, CONDENSER AND ASSOCIATED PARTS WERE REPLACED.
AIR CONDITIONER WAS BLOWING HOT AIR WHILE STATIONARY . SERVICE REPAIR STATED THERE WAS A LEAK IN THE EVAPORATOR COIL AND TO REPAIR IT THE COST IS $1700. BECAUSE THE COIL IS LOCATED BEHIND THE DASH THE WHOLE DASH HAS TO BE REMOVED TO GET TO THE COIL HENCE THE COSTLY REPAIR DUE TO WHERE THAT EVAPORATOR COIL IS LOCATED. SERVICE REPAIRMAN AT DEALERSHIP ORIGINALLY SAID ALTERNATOR WAS THE PROBLEM AND THAT IT STILL NEEDS TO BE REPLACED PER DEALERSHIP. THE PROBLEM WITH THE EVAPORATOR COIL APPEARS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM IN MUSTANGS WITH AS LITTLE AS 2000 MILES ON THEM. I FIRST NOTICED THIS PROBLEM ALMOST A YEAR AGO WHEN MY CAR HAD ABOUT 37,000 MILES ON IT. DID NOT HAVE IT REPAIRED.
AIR CONDITIONING STOPPED WORKING. DEALER SERVICE TECH FOUND AIR CONDITIONER EVAPORATOR IS LEAKING. VEHICLE MILEAGE 22968. SERVICE TECH INDICATED THAT THIS IS THE SECOND OCCURRENCE RECENTLY AND HE IS SCHEDULED TO REPLACE AN EVAPORATOR ON ANOTHER MUSTANG TOMORROW. REPAIR INVOLVES REMOVAL OF THE DASHBOARD AND COST OF THE PART ALONE IS OVER $1100. SIMILAR ISSUE LISTED MANY TIMES HERE AND MANY MORE TIMES ON DISCUSSION BOARDS AND FORUMS.
I WAS DRIVING CAR UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS WHEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. BROGHT VEHICLE TO LOCAL AUTOZONE AND WAS GIVEN A P144C CODE. I BROUGHT CAR TO FORD DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD EVAP PURGE VALVE WAS DEFECTIVE AND HAD TO BE REPLCED. INVOICE ALSO SHOWS THAT PCM WAS UPDATED TO LATEST CALIBATRION.
ON FRIDAY, JULY 19, 2019, MY SON WAS DRIVING ON I-75 IN FLORIDA, GOING FROM UNIV OF TAMPA TO FERNANDINA BEACH. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY (APPROX 70 MPH), THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR UNLATCHED - THIS HAPPENED TO HIM TWICE ON THE TRIP. HE PULLED OVER & HAD TO CLOSE THE DOOR. HE MENTIONED THAT THIS HAD HAPPENED TO HIM ONCE BEFORE A FEW WEEKS AGO. THERE IS A FORD RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM FOR 2015 MUSTANGS BUT NO RECALL FOR 2016.*DT VEHICLE HAS BEEN REPAIRED 7/23/19. *JB
AIR CONDITIONING EVAPORATOR CRACKED AND LEAKING, CAUSING HOT AIR TO BE BLOWN FROM DRIVER SIDE AIR DUCTS. DIAGNOSIS PERFORMED BY FORD DEALERSHIP, REQUIRED REMOVE AND REPLACEMENT OF EVAPORATOR AND CONNECTING HOSES. TOTAL COST $1850.
HELLO, I AM REPORTING ON STALL OF 2016 FORD MUSTANG ECO BOOST, WHILE WE ARE ON SIGNAL OR TRYING TO DRIVE VEHICLE IN RAMP SUDDENLY VEHICLE STOPS AND WHILE BRING THE STICK TO NEUTRAL AND TRYING TO START THE VEHICLE DOESN'T START. THIS HAS ENCOUNTERED ONCE AT HIGHWAY WHICH CAUSED A TRAFFIC JAM FOR NOT ABLE TO START VEHICLE FOR 5-7 MINUTES, I HAVE REPORTED THRICE IN LAST 2 YEARS TO SERVICE AND NOT RECEIVED RIGHT RESPONSE ON CONDITION, AFTER 6 MONTHS RECENTLY I ENCOUNTERED THE SAME ISSUE IN JULY 2019 WHICH CONCERNS 4TH TIME. NEED SUPPORT RESPECTIVELY.
I DROVE UP TO MY GYM, GOT OUT OF MY CAR, LOCKED IT AS USUAL SO NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY. WENT BACK OUT TO MY CAR ABOUT 30 MIN LATER AND SAW SMOKE BILLOWING FROM WINDOWS... OPENED MY DOOR PASSENGER SIDE AND MY GLOVE COMPARTMENT WAS THE SOURCE SO I OPEN IT AND ALL I SAW WERE FLAMES LEAPING FROM THE TOP OF THE COMPARTMENT AND FLAMES COMING OUTTA THE AIR VENTS. WITHIN MINUTES THE ENTIRE GLOVE BOX COMPARTMENT AS WELL AS THE DASH ITSELF MELTED ONTO THE FLOORBOARD. SOME GENTLEMAN FOUND A FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND PUT IT OUT BEFORE THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EVEN ARRIVED. IM JUST LUCKY I WASN'T IN IT BUT THIS HAD TO BE SOME MANUFACTURE DEFECT IN THE WIRING BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT IT STARTED ABOVE THE GLOVE BOX RIGHT WERE THE WIRE HARNESSES ENTER THE CAR THROUGH THE FIRE BREAK BETWEEN THE CAR AND ENGINE COMPARTMENT.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. JERRY'S FORD LOCATED AT 847 E MARKET ST, LEESBURG, VA 20176 AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE BUT PROVIDED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,000.

THE AC QUIT BLOWING COLD AIR, TOOK IT TO FORD DEALERSHIP LEFT WITH AN ESTIMATED REPAIR COST $1800.00. THE EVAPORATOR CORE IS LEAKING AND MUST BE REPLACED, SO THE DASH HAS TO BE TAKEN OUT. MY CAR ONLY HAS 30,539 MILES
VEHICLE ELECTRONIC POWER STEER FAILED WHILE CRUISING APPROXIMATELY 60MPH ON A STRAIGHT SECTION OF ROAD. POWER ASSIST DISABLED, VEHICLE STILL DRIVEABLE JUST NO POWER ASSIST. PROBLEM WILL CLEAR ITSELF IF VEHICLE IS SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED BUT RETURNS A SHORT TIME LATER
FUEL EVAPORATOR VALVE FAULTY. VALVE WOULD STICK OPEN, CAUSING VEHICLE TO STALL DIRECTLY AFTER FUELING. I ORDERED THE PART THROUGH A FORD DEALERSHIP. REPLACEMENT OF FUEL EVAPORATOR VALVE ELIMINATED THE ISSUE. PART COST $45
MUSTANG'S DOORS OPEN WHILE DRIVING IN MOTION, ON A CITY STREET AND HIGHWAY. IT SEEMS TO HAVE FAULTY DOOR LATCHES. *TR
FIRST THE AC WAS BLOWING HOT AIR. I HAD IT SERVICE LAST YEAR. THIS YEAR THE CAR WAS BLOWING COLD AIR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. I HAD THE BLENDOR REPLACED. 3 MONTHS LATER THE CAR AGAIN BEGAN TO BLOW WARM AIR I HAD IT CHECKED AND NOW 30 DAYS LATER THE CAR MAKES A WHINING NOISE WHEN THE AC OR DEFROST IS TURNED ON. THE NOISE BECOMES LOUDER AS YOU ACCELERATE. I SEARCHED THE INTERNET AND THERE ARE A LOT OF THESE COMPLAINTS CONCERNING THIS MODEL VEHICLE. THERE ARE ALSO A LOT OF YOUTUBE VIDEOS DESCRIBING THE SAME ISSUE SOME STARTING WITH IN 9 MONTHS OF PURCHASE. I ALSO PURCHASED THIS CAR NEW AND HAVE MAINTAINED THE REQUIRED SERVICE. THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY AND IT CONTINUES WHEN IN MOTION.
WHEN VEHICLE SITS IN HOT SUN WHILE PARKED NOT IN OPERATION THE AIRBAG LIGHT WILL STAY ON WHEN CAR IS STARTED. IT STAYS ON UNTIL CAR IS DRIVEN FOR ABOUT 10 MINS OR SO AND THE CAR IS TURNED OFF AND BACK ON. THIS ONLY HAPPENS ON HOT SUNNY DAYS.
SHELBY GT350 5.2L V8: ENGINE BURNS COPIOUS VOLUMES OF ENGINE OIL. POTENTIAL FOR OWNER TO LET ENGINE RUN DRY AND SEIZE DURING NORMAL OIL CHANGE INTERVAL. ENGINE HAS BURNED GREATER THAN 1 QT OIL PER 1000 MI OVER 47000+ MI, AND MOST RECENTLY BURNED 8 QT OVER LESS THAN 4000 MI.
SHELBY GT350 5.2L V8: EXHAUST INFILTRATION INTO PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. MODERATE TO HIGH RPM OPERATION CAUSES EXHAUST SMELL TO ENTER INTO PASSENGER AREA. WORSE WITH AIR CONDITIONER OFF THAN ON.
STARTED MY CAR THIS MORNING AND AS I WAS BACKING OUT, I NOTICED IT WAS IDLING ROUGHLY, CAUSING THE CAR TO SHAKE. WHEN STOPPED, THE CAR FELT LIKE IT MIGHT DIE AND THE RPM WAS INCONSISTENT WHILE ACCELERATING AND THE CAR WAS MOVING. VERY ROUGH RIDING. ALSO, ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND BEGIN BLINKING.
TOOK MY CAR TO FORD DEALERSHIP THEY SAID AIR-CONDITIONER EVAPORATOR CORE IS OUT THEY HAVE RECEIVED MANY COMPLAINTS AND MIGHT ONE DAY HAVE A RECALL.. NO AC ON A TWO-YEAR-OLD CAR WITH 40,000 MILES. VERY POOR QUALITY NOT WORTH THE MONEY

THE MECHANIC ALSO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE FAULTY COMPRESSOR WAS RELATED TO THE NOISES SHE HEARD. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH NALLEY FORD SANDY SPRINGS (7555 ROSWELL RD, ATLANTA, GA 30350 (678) 809-5711) AND WAS REFERRED TO NHTSA TO FILE A SAFETY COMPLAINT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
THERE IS A KNOCKING COMING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE ENGINE CYLINDER HEAD RIGHT AFTER AN OIL CHANGE AND NOW AT THE SECOND OIL CHANGE IT IS STILL THERE.
CAR STALLED RANDOMLY WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. PRESSED THE GAS AND WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING. WAS ABLE TO PULL IN A LOT TO GET OUT OF TRAFFIC. CAR WOULD NOT START AGAIN. FULL ACCESSORY POWER WAS ACTIVE. MECHANIC SAID FUEL PUMP AND MODULE. CAR HAS 46000 MILES. FUEL PUMP SHOULD NOT FAIL IN A 3 YEAR OLD CAR.
THIS MODEL HAS KNOWN ISSUES WITH THE A/C SYSTEM. A DEFECT IN THE EVAPORATOR CORE CAUSES POOR A/C PERFORMANCE, FOR WHICH THERE IS A POSTED TSB. I BELIEVE THERE IS POTENTIALLY A SAFETY ISSUE HERE WHICH WOULD WARRANT A RECALL. SINCE THE REFRIGERANT LEAKS INTO THE CABIN FROM THE EVAPORATOR CORE, THE WINDSCREEN FORMS A RESIDUE WHICH OBSTRUCTS DRIVER VISIBILITY, ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE IS GLARE FROM THE SUN. DRIVER VISIBILITY IS A FACTOR IN THE PROBABILITY OF AUTOMOTIVE ACCIDENTS, THEREFORE THE COMMONLY DEFECTIVE A/C SYSTEM DIRECTLY IMPACTS THE SAFETY OF THIS MODEL. TO MAINTAIN PERFORMANCE OF THE A/C SYSTEM, IT MUST BE TOPPED OFF. BUT VISIBILITY SUFFERS AND THE WINDSCREEN MUST CONSTANTLY BE CLEANED. ANOTHER SAFETY ISSUE IS THAT REFRIGERANT THAT IS LEAKED IS CHRONICALLY INHALED BY OCCUPANTS OF THE VEHICLE. I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE TOXICITY OF R134A, BUT I CAN'T IMAGINE THAT IT BELONGS IN PEOPLES LUNGS. IF IS IT DANGEROUS TO DO SO, THEN I MUST REITERATE, THE COMMONLY DEFECTIVE A/C SYSTEM DIRECTLY IMPACTS THE SAFETY OF THIS MODEL. WHILE DRIVING DOWN A CITY STREET THE ENGINE WILL SHUTDOWN WITH NO WARNINGS. YOU START LOSING SPEED BUT ALL THE REST OF THE DASH LIGHTS AND ELECTRIC POWER STEERING CONTINUE TO WORK. THIS CAUSES A VERY UNSAFE CONDITION WHERE OTHER PEOPLE COULD RUN INTO THE BACK OF THE CAR. AS OF 12/17/2018 I HAVE TOOK THE AT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP THREE TIMES WHERE THE FIRST TIME THEY REPLACED THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE BODY THEN WITH IN THREE DAY THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN GOING DOWN THE STREET AGAIN. THE SECOND TIME THE CAR WAS TOOK BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP THE POWER CONTROL MODULE WAS REPROGRAMMED AND WITHIN THREE DAY THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN AGAIN GOING DOWN THE STREET SEVERAL TIMES. AS OF 12/17/2018 THE CAR WAS TOOK BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND I WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD TO VERIFY FOR THEMSELVES THAT THE CAR WAS DOING THIS HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING BACK AT THIS POINT YET. THIS CONDITION HAS ALMOST CAUSED ME TO BE HIT FROM BEHIND THREE TIMES.

CAR TOWED TO DEALERSHIP WITH MANUFACTURER'S ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. OIL SPRAY FROM VALVE COVER GASKET ONTO EXHAUST MANIFOLD WITH MEDIUM RPM (~3000 RPM) AND HIGHER.

THE BACK UP CAMERA DOES NOT WORK AND PRESENTS THE FOLLOWING ERROR MESSAGE WHEN PUTTING THE VEHICLE IN REVERSE: REAR VIEW CAMERA NOT AVAILABLE.
I JUST BOUGHT A 2016 MUSTANG GT FROM A LOCAL DEALERSHIP. SINCE THEN I'VE HAD MY CAR IN THEIR SHOP 5 TIMES FOR A INTERMETINT EXTREME PULL TO LEFT. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO HAVE THIS TAKEN CARE OF NOW IT IS GETTING TO THE POINT WHERE I AM HAVING TO RESEARCH POSSIBLE ISSUES AND TELL THEIR MECHANICS. THIS IS THE 3RD CAR I'VE BEEN THROUGH IN 2 MONTHS WITH THIS SAME ISSUE A 2013 MUSTANG GT AND A 2015 MUSTANG GT NOW MY NEWEST 2016 GT AS THEY ARE GETTING TO THE POINT OF TIRED OF ME AND BASICALLY TELLING ME IT'S TIME TO DEAL WITH FORD AND FIGURE OUT THIS ISSUE AND REPORT BACK TO THEM. PASSENGER DOOR COMES OPEN BY ITSELF WHILE DRIVING. IT HAPPENS AT VARIOUS SPEEDS AND VARIOUS ROADS. LUCKILY, SO FAR IT HAS ONLY HAPPENED ON STRAIGHT ROADS. THERE ARE SEVERAL RECALLS ON COMPARABLE YEAR VEHICLES OF THIS SAME MODEL FOR A DOOR LATCH REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLES I HAVE CHECKED ALL HAVE INTERCHANGEBLE PARTS, MEANING WHEN I ORDER PARTS, IT IS FOR A RANGE OF YEARS. THIS IS PARTIALLY WHY I DON'T UNDERSTAND FORDS RELUCTANCE TO INCLUDE THE 2016 IN THE REPAIRS.
2016 FORD MUSTANG GT. EVAPORATOR HAS FAILED TWICE (1ST TIME @ 7K MILES, 2ND TIME @16K MILES). EACH FAILURE CAUSED LOSS OF AC, AND RESULTED IN A FILM BUILDING UP ON ALL INTERIOR WINDOW SURFACES. VISIBILITY WAS OBSCURED WHEN DRIVING INTO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE SERVICED DURING SECOND FAILURE, MOST LIKELY DUE TO R-134A REFRIGERANT LEAKING INTO PASSENGER COMPARTMENT?!?
DRIVING ON THE DALLAS, TX HIGHWAY 35- RLTHORNTON HEADED SOUND IN THE PEAK OF TRAFFIC IN THE FAST LANE (FAR LEFT HAND LANE) GOING ABOUT 35MILES AND CAR STOPS. MY FEET WAS PRESSED ON THE ACCELERATION BUT THE CAR WOULD NOT MOVE. NO ENGINE WARMING OR LIGHTS CAME ON. THE CARS BEHIND BE BEGAN TO SWERVE AND BRAKE TO KEEP FROM HITTING ME. THE ABRUPT ENGINE SHUT OFF COULD HAVE CAUSED ACCIDENTS OR EVEN WORSE FATALITIES. (MY LIFE) BECAUSE THE CAR WAS UNMOVABLE AND FAILED TO START, 911 HAD TO BE CALLED FOR ASSISTANCE WITH GETTING ME OUT OF ARMS WAY OF OTHER DRIVERS AND ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP, TO INFORM THEM OF THE MATTER. HAD THE CAR TOWED AT THE EXPENSE OF $120 DOLLARS. 2 DAYS HAVE PASSED AND MY CAR HASN'T BEEN LOOKED IT. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY MIGHT GET TO MY CAR BY FRIDAY, 8/31 AND THAT NO RENTALS WERE AVAILABLE. MY BIGGEST CONCERNED IS THE SAFETY OF MY LIFE AND OTHERS. AFTER RESEARCHING AROUND IT APPEARS THAT OTHERS HAVE ALSO EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM. THE MUSTANG IS FORDS BIGGEST SELLER BUT CONSUMERS HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW OF ANY ISSUES SUCH AS THIS BEING REPORTED. WHY, BECAUSE LIVES MATTER.
REAR VIEW CAMERA FAILURE, WHEN ATTEMPTING TO REVERSE THE REAR VIEW CAMERA WILL GO BLANK, OR GET DISTORTED . BECAUSE OF THIS IT SEVERELY DIMINISHES REAR VISIBILITY.
AIR CONDITIONER COOLING STOPPED WORKING
I HAVE HAD TWO COLLISION IN MY VEHICLE AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY EITHER TIME. BOTH WERE AT A RATE OF SPEED APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH. ONE WAS A REAR END COLLISION THAT WAS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR. THE OTHER WAS TO THE DRIVER SIDE WHEEL AND LIGHT AREA. THE REAR COLLISION I WAS IN MOTION ABOUT 10 MPH AND WAS STRUCK AT APPROX. 50 MPH. THE FRONTAL COLLISION I WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 40 MPH AND WAS STRUCK MOVING AT APPROX. 40-50 MPH. THIS COMPLAINT IS IN REGARDS TO THE FRONTAL COLLISION. I HAVE PHOTOS BUT CANNOT GET THEM TO UPLOAD BUT PROVIDE THEM FOR FURTHER INVESTIGATION.

ON 4/28, 2018 WHILE DRIVING ON FLORIDA'S TURNPIKE AT 65 MPH WITHOUT WARNING THE CAR DECELERATED AND LOST POWER, GOING INTO LIMP MODE. LUCKILY NO ACCIDENT HAPPENED, BUT CLEARLY A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE.
VEHICLE SHUT DOWN 2 TIMES, ONCE IN TRAFFIC, DID RESTART, SEEMINGLY BECAUSE OF LOW SYSTEM VOLTAGE CAUSED BY A PARASITIC DRAW ON THE BATTERY WHICH HAS BEEN PRESENT SINCE NEW. MULTIPLE DTC'S IN HISTORY WHICH I CAN SUPPLY, FORD OF COURSE KNOWS NOTHING, BUT I HAVE SEEN MANY COMPLAINTS ON WEB PAGES ABOUT S550 BATTERY DRAW.
BEFORE FEB 2017, SMELLED SMOKE IN VEHICLE, BUT WAS NOT AWARE THAT THIS ISSUE WAS POSSIBLY CONNECTED TO THE NEXT ISSUE. IN FEB 2017, A/C WAS NOT WORKING AND SAW WHITE SMOKE. TOOK VEHICLE TO DON DAVIS FORD IN ARLINGTON, TX AND THEY FOUND A LEAK NEW EVAPORATOR IN A/C. THEY REPLACED HOSES UNDER THE WARRANTY. MARCH 2018 I EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUE AND NOW NEED A NEW EVAPORATOR.
2016 FORD MUSTANG GT 6 SPEED MANUAL. SHIFTING GEARS CLUTCH ALL THE WAY IN IT HAS A HARSH FEELING NOTCHY GOING INTO 1ST 2ND 3RD GEARS THE OTHER GEARS FEEL SMOOTH. I HAVE TALKED TO ANOTHER GUY AND HIS ONLY HAS 2K MILES AND HE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. I LOVE THIS MUSTANG BUT THAT JUST MAKE IT NOT FUN TO DRIVE ANYMORE. FORD NEEDS TO RECALL THIS PROBLEM ASAP.
ALL UPPER AND LOWER CONTROL ARMS HAVE HAD TO BE REPLACED ON FRONT OF CAR DUE TO SQUEAKING AND POPPING NOISES COMING FROM THEM. ALSO HEATED AND COOLED SEATS WENT OUT DUE TO PLUG SHORTING OUT.
DURING FIRST LONG ROAD TRIP WITH NEWLY ACQUIRED CAR, BOTH THE DRIVER DOOR AND THE PASSENGER DOOR OPENED FROM LOCKED POSITION AT HIGHWAY SPEED A TOTAL OF SIX TIMES. THE PASSENGER DOOR OPENED FOUR TIMES AND THE DRIVER DOOR TWO TIMES. THESE OCCURRENCES WERE ON 1/13/2018 AND 1/14/2018 DURING AN 1,100 MILE TRIP FROM FLORIDA TO NEW YORK. WITH EACH EPISODE THE DASHBOARD LIT WITH "DOOR AJAR" MESSAGE.
