THEY SCAN IT, ERROR IT ERROR AND IT TURNS ON WITHOUT PROBLEM, AFTER TURNING IT OFF AGAIN IT PRESENTS THE HARD ADDRESS. THE ERROR IS CLEARED AGAIN AND AS IT IS NOT TURNED OFF, IT DOES NOT FAIL. *TR
I OWN A 2013 HONDA ACCORD SPORT, 4 CYLINDER EARTH DREAMS ENGINE WITH 65000 MILES ON IT. THERE IS A VERY KNOWN ISSUE WITH EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION AND OIL BURNING IN THESE EARTH DREAMS ENGINES. THE PISTON RINGS ARE FAULTY CAUSING OIL TO BE BURNED IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER. HONDA HAD A RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE IN 2008-2012 AND THIS ISSUE IS HAPPENING IN MY VEHICLE. PROLONGED OIL CONSUMPTION CAN SEIZE THE ENGINE DUE TO NO OIL BEING LEFT IN THE ENGINE TO LUBRICATE IT. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ASAP AS THIS OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUE HAS NEVER BEEN RECTIFIED. THIS ENGINE IS BURNING 4 QUARTS OF OIL IN 2500 MILES..THERE IS BLACK SOOT AND THE END OF THE TAILPIPE, WHICH IS A CLEAR INDICATION OF OIL BURNING. HONDA BEEDA TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE WITH A RECALL TO REPLACE STUCK OR WORN PISTON OIL RINGS. REPAIRS FOR THIS ISSUE ARE OVER 3000 DOLLARS. THIS COST SHOULD NOT BE PASSED ON TO THE CUSTOMER DUE TO FAULTY PARTS OR FAULTY ENGINEERING
APPARENTLY MANY HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT FAULTY STARTERS IN THIS PARTICULAR MODEL, AND SURE ENOUGH I EXPERIENCED IT TODAY. THE STARTER FAILED. THIS IS FROM A COLD START AND IT'S HAPPENED THREE TIMES ALREADY. *TR
My car’s steering automatically wants to turn to the left. This started a while back and has continued. I have to keep both hands on the wheel firmly to be prepared at all times for it to turn on its own.
The vehicle has an issue with the charging system which has persisted for at least 1year. The vehicle is unsafe to drive because once the battery has low charge, power steering fails and ultimately the car dies/cuts off (which has happened to me while on a public road at least twice). The vehicle has been checked out by my mechanic numerous times but the issue has never been remedied. The alternator (replaced twice), electronic load detector, battery sensor and battery sensor connector have all been replaced. Wiring has also been inspected but there were no problems to report. A check charge system warning stays on, and sometimes the battery light illuminates. I have seen countless complaints about the same issue regarding the 9th generation honda accord online but the dealer does not acknowledge the issue exists in many of these particular model.

ERROR LIGHTS ON DASHBOARD COME UP (LOTS OF THEM) AND IN THE CENTER IT STATES "FCW SYSTEM FAILURE". HONDA TRYING TO CHARGE ME $1,600 TO FIX THE ERRORS AND APPARENTLY THIS IS HAPPENING TO A TON OF PEOPLE. CLEARLY SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO BE RECALLED
STARTED IN JUNE AFTER WEATHER CONSISTENTLY OVER 80 DEGREES... WHILE TRYING TO START CAR HAVE TO PUSH START BUTTON SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE CAR WILL START. PROBLEM IS INTERMITTENT. *TR
The power steering just stopped working in my 2013 honda accord. I am not able to drive the vehicle safely. A mechanic has confirmed this issue. There were no signs or symptoms and no warning lights beforehand. The warning light came on just as the steering stopped working. This occurred in June 2020.
WE WERE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY ON A TRIP TO TEXAS AND THE STEERING WHEEL AUTOMATICALLY TURNED ON ITS OWN, CAUSING US TO ALMOST CRASH INTO OTHER CARS ON THE HIGHWAY. NO LIGHTS APPEARED ON OUR DASH AND IT WAS OUT OF THE ORDINARY. WE WERE DRIVING 75-85 MPH AND COULD HAVE INJURED MULTIPLE PEOPLE IF WE HAD CRASHED. THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME SO HARD TO CONTROL REQUIRING MY FIANC TO GRIP THE STEERING WHEEL TO TURN IT INTO THE EMERGENCY LANE OF THE HIGHWAY. ONCE HE LET GO OF THE STEERING WHEEL, IT WOULD TURN REALLY FAST ON ITS OWN TO THE LEFT. HE TRIED TURNING THE CAR ON AND OFF, BUT THE ISSUE WAS STILL THERE. I CALLED THE HONDA DEALER AND EXPLAINED WHAT I FOUND ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE. HE SAID HE WOULD RESEARCH IT AND CALL ME BACK BUT HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALL. THIS IS BIG SAFETY ISSUE THAT HONDA IS AWARE OF AND SHOULD COVER THE REPAIR COST. I TRIED CALLING CORPORATE ONLY TO HAVE MY CALL CUT OFF 3 TIMES. WHAT IS THE ACTUAL PROBLEM; BECAUSE WITHOUT A DASHBOARD LIGHT AND NO CODE WE DON'T KNOW? *TR
I PURCHASED MY 2013 HONDA IN 2019. ALREADY IT IS SHOWING THAT IT HAS A FUEL RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR PROBLEM THAT COULD POTENTIALLY CAUSE A FIRE. WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY THE CAR LOST ACCELERATION. NOW IT CAN ONLY BE DRIVEN 40MPH OR LESS. I RECEIVED A PRINTOUT THAT DETERMINED THIS DIAGNOSIS AND STATED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM. VEHICLE STABILITY ASSIST IS DE-ACTIVATED DUE TO DTC 85-01 SIGNAL FAILURE INDICATED IN ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING MODULE. BECAUSE OF THIS, ANTI-LOCK BRAKES ARE NOT FUNCTIONAL. ORDERED REPLACEMENT VSA MODULATOR THROUGH LOCAL REPAIR SHOP FIRST WEEK IN AUG 11, 2020, BUT HONDA AMERICA ESTIMATES SHIP DATE OF DEC 21, 2020 (19 WEEKS)! THEY SHIP THOUSANDS OF NEW CARS EVERY WEEK WITH NEW VSA MODULATORS, MEANWHILE I HAVE TO DRIVE MY CAR WITH THE CRITICAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT DEACTIVATED!
STEERING WHEEL TIGHTEN UP, NO WARNING SIGNS CAME ON. TIGHTNESS IN STEERING TO THE LEFT AND LOOSE WHEN TURNING TO THE RIGHT. NO LOCKUP ON STEERING JUST A SENSE OF TIGHTNESS. HAPPENED RANDOMLY WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. WAS DRIVING LOCAL WHEN IT STARTED TO TIGHT UP. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE EPS WARNING LIGHT AND AN UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHT WERE ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE HIGH PRESSURE AND LOW PRESSURE FUEL LINES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT THE ALTERNATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 132,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
I WAS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY AT 50MPH AND SUDDENLY FELT MY CAR SLIGHTLY JERK AND MAKE A POPPING NOISE. I DID NOT SEE ANY OBSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO THIS, EVEN THOUGH IT FELT LIKE I HAD RUN OVER A TREE BRANCH. I PULLED OVER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND EVERYTHING ON MY CAR SEEMED FINE UNTIL I SAW MY SUNROOF WAS SHATTERED. THE MIDDLE PART HAD COMPLETELY BROKEN OFF WHILE THE REST OF THE GLASS WAS SHATTERED. IT LOOKED LIKE SOMETHING HAD FALLEN OUT OF THE SKY AND HIT IT, ALTHOUGH IT DID NOT FEEL LIKE ANYTHING HAD BOUNCED OFF MY CAR WHILE DRIVING. THE SUNROOF DOOR HAD BEEN CLOSED AND I RARELY OPEN IT (THE LAST TIME I USED IT WAS AT LEAST 6 MONTHS AGO). *TR
The electronic power steering started pulling right unexpectedly. It started without any warning or indication. One day I just started the engine, started driving and power steering began to pull the car to right side. The dealer diagnosed the car and found no error codes and no damage. Dealer said I need to replace entire electric power steering rack.
THE HOSE ON THE GAS TANK HAS A HAIRLINE CRACK IN IT. THE ONLY WAY TO REPAINT IS TO CHANGE THE WHOLE GAS TANK WHICH IS $1200. THE FUEL TANK IS ON BACKORDER SO OBVIOUSLY OTHERS HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH IT. *TR
I WAS DRIVING MY CAR IN A RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD. THE DASH ON THE CAR DISPLAYED A "START STOP" ERROR. THEN, THERE WAS MUCH LESS HORSEPOWER. I AM GUESSING THERE WAS BETWEEN 10 AND 20 HORSE POWER. THE CAR COULD BARELY GO 20 MILES PER HOUR. THEN, THE DASH SAID, STOP THE CAR. YOUR CAR IS OVER HEATING. SO, I PULLED TO THE SIDE OF THE STREET AND STOPPED THE CAR. I WAS LUCKY THAT I WAS ON A RESIDENTIAL SIDE STREET. WHERE I LIVE, SOME SECTIONS OF FREEWAY ARE 12 AND 16 LANES WIDE. IF I HAD LOST POWER IN THIS SITUATION, I DON'T THINK I COULD HAVE MADE IT TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD SAFELY. THE WATER PUMP ON MY MODEL CAR WAS PART OF A SAFETY RECALL. AUDI CLAIMS THAT THEY HAVE FIXED THE PROBLEM WITH THE DESIGN BEFORE MY CAR WAS MANUFACTURED. HOWEVER, THE WATER PUMP ON MY CAR ONLY LASTED FOR 49,000 MILES. I SUSPECT THAT THE RE-DESIGN OF THE WATER PUMP IS STILL NOT ADEQUATE. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THE ISSUE WITH OUR WATER PUMP. *TR

WHILE TRYING TO DIAGNOSE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT MY MECHANIC NOTICED THAT THE FUEL TANK HAS A CRACK AT THE TOP OF THE TANK WHICH LEAKS GASOLINE WHEN FILLED UP. THIS IS THE SAME ISSUE THAT HAS BEEN REPORTED AND RECALLED FOR SOME OTHER 2013 ACCORDS BUT NOT OURS. HONDA NEEDS TO ISSUE A RECALL FOR ANY VEHICLE THAT THIS IS HAPPENING TO. BUT AS IT CURRENTLY STANDS THEY ARE NOT.
INTERMITTENT STARTING ISSUES. SOMETIMES IT WILL START ON FIRST PUSH OF THE PUSH TO START BUTTON. OTHER TIMES IT TAKES 10+ MINUTES OF ATTEMPTS TO GET IT STARTED. SOMETIMES IT JUST HASN'T STARTED. TOOK TO A MECHANIC, DIAGNOSED AS THE STARTER, REPLACED STARTER. ISSUE IS STILL PRESENT THIS DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM
FCW SYSTEM FAILED, ABS, TPS MESSAGE POPPED UP OUT OF THE BLUE. I BRAKED AND THE CAR SPOED UP, I HAD TO PULL UP MY EMERGENCY BRAKES, AND ALMOST REAR ENDED ANOTHER CAR WITH INFANT BECAUSE OF THIS. TOOK THE CAR TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC WITH 18 CERTS. THE BRAKE LINES, FLUID, ROTORS, FLUID WERE PERFECT. NO LEAKS, THE MESSAGE IS STILL UP.HE CANNOT PULL UP ANY CODES. I AM TAKING A SCREENSHOT OF THIS STATEMENT WITH TODAYS FRONT PAGE PAPER INDICATING THE DATE I AM SENDING THIS TO YOU. PLEASE SEND OUT AN EMERGENCY ALERT SO OTHER HONDA DRIVERS DO NOT HAVE TO USE THEIR EMERGENCY BRAKE AND POSSIBLY KILLING AN INFANT OR OTHER PASSENGERS WHEN THEIR BRAKES FAIL.
ERROR: KEYLESS ENTRY ISSUE. BATTERY ON BOTH KEY FOBS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH FRESH BATTERIES. THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM ON HONDA ACCORDS AND HONDA PILOTS. THIS ISSUE HAPPENS DAILY, EVEN WITH KEY WITH-IN 6 INCHES OF IGNITION.. THIS ISSUES 1ST STARTED OCCURRING WITHIN 2.9 OF WHEN WARRANTY WENT OUT. IT WAS REPORTED TO DEALER 1 DAY AFTER WARRANTY WENT OUT.
VEHICLE IS A PUSH START. SOMETIMES IT ACTS LIKE THE STARTER HAS A PROBLEM. WON'T CRANK EVERY TIME. VEHICLE DRIVER SIDE DOOR WILL NOT UNLOCK WITH THE KEY FOB. HAD IT DIAGNOSED AT DEALERSHIP SAID THAT THE MOTOR IN THE DOOR WENT OUT.
TWICE IN THE PAST WEEK THE POWER STEERING HAS SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING WHILE DRIVING ON BOTH A CITY STREET AND A HIGHWAY. IT ALSO SUDDENLY STARTS WORKING AGAIN WHILE DRIVING, USUALLY THE NEXT DAY.
MY SON WAS PRACTICING PARALLEL PARKING. AND CAR'S STEERING WHEEL BECAME STIFF AND HARD TO TURN. I WAS ABLE TO MAKE WHEEL STRAIGHT AND DROVE AROUND SLOWLY, MOSTLY STRAIGHT LINE, AND STEERING WHEEL BECAME NORMAL, ABLE TO TUNE IT WITHOUT FORCING IT HARD. IT WAS SCARY.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 136,075.
MY POWER STEERING WENT OUT. CAN'T STEER THE CAR. IT A FINE YESTERDAY. STEERING WHEEL WARNING LIGHT IS ON. I WAS PARKED LUCKILY WHEN THIS HAPPENED. I CAN'T USE MY CAR NOW.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AND APPLYING THE BRAKE, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL SQUEALING SOUND COMING FROM THE BRAKES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SOUND WAS LIKE METAL RUBBING TOGETHER. ADDITIONALLY, WHILE REVERSING AND APPLYING THE BRAKES, THERE WAS A WHISTLING SOUND COMING FROM THE BRAKES. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO HONDA OF SLIDELL LOCATED AT (510 E HOWZE BEACH RD, SLIDELL, LA 70461, (985) 649-9091) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE CALIPERS FROZE IN PLACE AND CAUSED SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE ROTORS. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE CALIPERS AND ROTORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS PROVIDED A LOANER UNTIL THE REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 125,000. *LN CONSUMER STATED THERE IS A DISCREPANCY IN INVOICES REGARDING OIL CHANGE MILEAGE AND NOTICED SIDE DOOR DENT CAUSED BY SERVICE DEALER.*JB *BF CONSUMER HAS CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DEALER.*JB
INTERMITTENT IGNITION FAILURE. THIS SEEMS TO OCCUR MORE FREQUENTLY IN COLDER WEATHER, BUT I HAVE HAD ISSUES ALL YEAR LONG. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO START THE ENGINE, YOU HEAR A LOUD STATIC NOISE WITH NO ENGAGEMENT OF THE ENGINE. I'VE HAD TO ABANDON MY CAR ON A COUPLE OCCASIONS DUE TO THIS FAILURE. HONDA SERVICE TECHNICIAN ADVISED ME THAT THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE AND OFTEN RESULTS IN REPLACING THE STARTER. I DON'T HAVE A WRITTEN QUOTE, BUT HE VERBALLY ESTIMATED THE COST TO BE AROUND $1,000.

WHEN WE FILL GAS TO THE FULL TANK, IT IS SMELLING
STEERING WHEEL TURNS LEFT BY ITSELF WHEN VEHICLE IS STATIONARY AND IGNITION IS FIRST TURN ON AND VEHICLE VIOLENTLY JERKS HARD LEFT WITHOUT ANY FAIR WARNING ALMOST RIPPING STEERING WHEEL OUT OF HANDS AND TAKES ME INTO OPPOSITE LANE OF HIGHWAY WHEN IN MOTION DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD.
THE BATTERY LOSES CONNECTION AT RANDOM TIMES, SOMETIMES DURING DRIVING, SOMETIMES WHILE TURNED OFF AND HAVE TO ADJUST SENSOR TO GET CAR TO START. *TR
2013 HONDA ACCORD V6EXL STARTER MAKES GRINDING NOISE WHEN BEING STARTED FOR THE FIRST TIME THAT DAY. HAPPENS MORE ON COLDER MORNINGS THAN WARM MORNINGS. IT IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THIS YEAR ACCORD. *TR
PAINT AROUND REAR WINDOW IS PEELING/DELAMINATING. BARE METAL EXPOSED.
THESE 2013 EARTH DREAMS HONDA ENGINES NEED TO BE RECALLED FOR EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. THERE ARE KNOWN ISSUES WITH BAD PISTON RINGS IN THIS ENGINES THAT CAUSE OVER EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION, WHICH CAN LEAD UP TO ENGINE SEIZURE. HONDA HAS NOT ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE WHICH IS AFFECTING MANY 2013 OWNERS. MECHANICS HAVE MADE VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE STATING THE SAME ISSUE. PLEASE OPEN AN INVESTIGATION TO GET THESE ENGINES RECALLED SO PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TO SPEND UPWARDS OF 5000 DOLLARS TO REPLACE THEIR ENGINES WHEN THIS ISSUE SHOULD BE FIXED BY HONDA. YOU NEED TO ISSUE A RECALL FOR THESE ENGINES.
WHILE DRIVING MY 2013 HONDA ACCORD, IT WILL SUDDENLY VEER LEFT OR RIGHT WITHOUT WARNING. STEERING GOES FROM TIGHT TO LOOSE AT ANY GIVEN TURN/TIME.
The effort required to make a turn is very inconsistent and can change abruptly in the middle of the turn. For example, while making a left-hand turn, the steering wheel can, without warning, jerk back to the right. While this has primarily occurred at lower speeds, it has been severe enough that it has almost caused us to not make our turn and as a result nearly run off the road, or into a curb or into vehicle next to us (pulling into a parking spot). To be honest, only good luck can be credited for the fact we haven't gotten into an accident up to this point. As stated before, this issue primarily occurs at slower speeds (< 30 mph), and while we've been fortunate enough that we've been able to recover from the momentary loss of control, if this issue were to occur at higher speeds or in a traffic-dense area, there is a very real possibility of a serious accident occurring. None of the vehicle's warning lights have ever indicated that there is an issue with the power steering system. Out of concern, the car was taken to a Honda dealership where they were able to reproduce the issue and recommended replacement of the entire steering rack and control unit at a cost of several thousand dollars. As we believe that the rack and/or it's control unit have a design flaw that would also still be present in a brand new non-revised rack, we have elected not to replace the rack in hopes of Honda taking ownership of it's defective product and offering a real solution to those of us who are affected by this problem. The vehicle still has the original steering rack and can be made available to the NHTSA to demonstrate the abnormal steering behavior.
WHEN I FIRST PURCHASED MY 2013 HONDA ACCORD FROM THE DEALERSHIP I NOTICED SOMETIMES THE PUSH START WOULD STALL OR SOUND LIKE IT WAS FAILING. ALSO MY DRIVER SIDE DOOR WOULD NOT RESPOND TO MY KEY FOB. ALL OTHER DOORS RESPOND TO IT EXCEPT THE DRIVER DOOR. I HAVE REPLACED THE BATTERY AND STILL THE ISSUE HASN'T BEEN RESOLVED. I HAVE BEEN TAKING THE ACTUAL KEY OUT OF THE FOB AND INSERTING IT INTO THE CAR DOOR TO UNLOCK MY DRIVER SIDE DOOR. NOW THE AC HAS BEGAN TO STOP AND START. IT ALMOST SOUNDS LIKE THE FAN MOTOR IS KICKING ON AND OFF. AND MY DRIVER SIDE SEAT IS NOT SLIDING BACK PROPERLY. IT WILL BEGAN TO GLIDE THEN STOP. WHIRRING NOISE WAS INCREASINGLY WORSE WHEN I WAS DRIVING, PROMPTING ME TO HAVE IT EVALUATED BY MY INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE HE SHOWED ME THE NOISE MADE WHEN THE ONE WHEEL WAS TURNED WITH THE CAR ON THE RACK. PART WAS REPLACED. THE OTHER REAR BEARING ASSEMBLY SEEMS OK SO FAR. REPAIR BILL WAS $430. MECHANICS TELL ME THIS IS VERY UNUSUAL FOR A WHEEL BEARING TO FAIL WITH SO LITTLE MILES ON THE CAR.

I WENT TO HONDA DEALERSHIP TWICE TO CHECK MY CAR AND DEALERSHIP SAY NO ISSUE AND I DID TWO ENGINE OIL CONSUMPTION TEST FIRST TIME IN 64008 MILE ON 05/26/18 AND THE SECOND TIME IN 71689 MILE ON 01/03/19 AND ALL PASSED AND DEALERSHIP SAY NO ISSUE. STARTER PROBLEMS: CHANGED BATTERY TWICE WITHIN 40K MILEAGE (ODOMETER READING) THE LAST TIME THEY CHANGED BATTERY IT WAS BY HONDA SAID MY BATTERY IS NOT GOOD AND REASON BECAUSE SOMETHING IN THE ELECTRICAL WITHDRAWING POWER AND KILLING THE BATTERY AND AFTER 4 DAYS AT HONDA DEALER AND CHARGED ME OVER $600 THEY COULD NOT IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM (THEY SAID)...IN FACT THEY SAID WE THINK IN THE RADIO MAYBE! WELL AFTER 6 MONTHS I FOUND OUT THE PROBLEM WAS NOT WHAT THEY SAY BUT IN THE STARTER! THE STARTER CAUSE THIS ISSUE UNTIL IT FINALLY THE STARTER WENT DEAD! I OPEN THE STARTER MYSELF AND ITS DEFINITELY THE STARTER CAUSING THIS AND I THOUGHT TO BRING IT TO YOUR ATTENTION. HONDA MUST KNOWN ABOUT THIS FOR SURE! THESE CONDITION IT CAUSED WHEN ITS STATIONARY. BUT SO MUCH PAIN. YOU DRIVE THE CAR AND THEN YOU PARK AND THEN WHEN START NOTHING, PAINFUL EXPERIENCES. ONCE THIS WAS PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE , TWO HOURS OR LESS, EMISSION LIGHT ON AND SAME ISSUE PRESENTED ITSELF. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY WHEN THE INITAL PROBLEM OCCURED WITH THE EMISSION AND STILL OCCURING.

THE KEYFOB BATTERIES WERE REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED MANUFACTURER COMMUNICATIONS NUMBER: A16-002 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) AS A POSSIBLE SOLUTION TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,000.

I AM CONCERNED THAT THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOYED WHEN THE CAR WAS HIT FROM THE REAR AND PUSHED INTO THE CAR IN FRONT. 2 IMPACTS WERE FELT FROM BEHIND FROM. AT THIS TIME THE CAR IS DISABLED AND I AM AWAITING FOR ESURANCE TO EVALUATE MY LOSS. I AM VERY CONCERN THAT THIS COULD HAVE POTENTIALLY BEEN A DEADLY SITUATION FOR MYSELF AS WELL AS THE OCCUPANTS OF THE CAR. I WAS ON THE LEFT LANE TRAVELING WESTBOUND WHEN THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME SUDDENLY SLAMMED ON THE BREAKS AND THE CAR FROM BEHIND PUSHED MY CAR INTO THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME.
