FOR THE THIRD TIME I HAVE GOTTEN IN MY 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA SE AND IT WILL NOT START (PUSH TO START). THE SCREEN WILL EITHER SAY THE KEY IS NOT IN THE VEHICLE OR IT WILL SAY PRESS BRAKE PEDAL TO START (THE KEY IS CERTAINLY IN THE VEHICLE, HOW ELSE DID I GET IN WITH IT LOCKED). AFTER REPEATEDLY GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE CAR, LOCKING AND UNLOCKING PRESSING THE BREAK PADS, TRYING EVERYTHING AND THEN SOME FOR ABOUT A HALF HOUR THE VEHICLE STILL WILL NOT START. THIS IS THE FOURTH HYUNDAI I HAVE PURCHASED, SECOND BRAND NEW AND I HAVE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS LIKE THIS BEFORE BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAY THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS HAPPENING EVEN THOUGH I HAVE FOUND NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS FOR IT ONLINE (WHAT SOURCES ARE THEY USING, GOOGLE TURNS UP PLENTY OF INFORMATION). THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I HAVE BEEN STRANDED IN A DARK, POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS AREA UNABLE TO START MY BRAND NEW CAR THAT HAS ALREADY HAD A RECALL. I EXPECT MORE THAN THIS.I WILL DROP IT OFF AT THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN AND AFTER THAT I AM GOING TO INVOKE THE LEMON LAW. ONE RECALL IS BAD ENOUGH I WOULD AT LEAST LIKE TO BE ABLE TO START MY VEHICLE. THE BATTERY IS FINE BOTH IN THE CAR AND THE REMOTE. AT 8,000 I SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY ISSUES! *TR
CAR CONSTANTLY PULLS TO THE LEFT. MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO KEEP IN MY LANE ENDANGERING ME AND OTHERS AROUND ME. *TR
CAR HAS PULLED TO THE LEFT SINCE IT WAS FIRST BOUGHT. IT HAS BEEN IN FOR NUMEROUS ALIGNMENTS, EPS REPROGRAMMING, AND SINGLE STRUT REPLACEMENT. THE REPAIRS HAVE MADE THE PROBLEM LESS SEVERE, BUT THE CAR MUST BE DRIVEN VIGILANTLY OR IT WILL PULL OUT OF THE LANE. DRIVING THE CAR ON THE HIGHWAY IS FATIGUING DUE TO CONSTANT COURSE CORRECTION. WHILE PRIMARILY A LEFT PULL ISSUE, THE CAR'S STEERING IS IMPRECISE AND WANDERS, SOMETIMES EVEN TO THE RIGHT. HYUNDAI REALLY GOT THIS WRONG AND HAS A CORPORATE WALL OF SILENCE AROUND THE ISSUE, REFUSING TO ACKNOWLEDGE IT. MY LATEST COMMUNICATION FROM THEM AFTER AN "ENGINEER" DROVE THE CAR READS, "THE DISTRACT PARTS SERVICE MANAGER [DPSM] IS HIGHLY TRAINED AND EXPERIENCED WITH HYUNDAI VEHICLES. THE DPSM'S DECISION IS FINAL AND WE ARE UNABLE TO GIVE THIS MATTER FURTHER CONSIDERATION." VERY DISAPPOINTING THAT THERE HAS BEEN NO RECALL ACTIVITY AROUND THIS SAFETY ISSUE. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA SE/LIMITED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE WOULD PULL VIOLENTLY TO THE LEFT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED HIM TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES; HOWEVER, THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE BUT OPTED TO REPLACE THE FRONT LEFT STRUTS AND PERFORM A WHEEL ALIGNMENT AS A REMEDY WHICH FAILED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 2900.
TEST DROVE A 2011 SONATA LIMITED TURBO AND WHILE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS THE CAR PULLED TO LEFT CONSTANTLY! YOU HAD TO KEEP A GOOD GRIP ON THE STEERING WHEEL TO KEEP IT GOING STRAIGHT. YOU COULD LITERALLY FEEL THE STEERING WHEEL FIGHTING YOU TO GO TO THE LEFT! NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE DID NOT BUY THE CAR. *TR
CAR HAS SIGNIFICANT PULL TO THE LEFT, AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS THE CAR WILL GO INTO ADJACENT LANES OR MEDIAN WITHIN 2 TO 3 SECONDS. THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT HAZARD AND EVENTUALLY WILL LEAD TO INJURY OR DEATH. *TR
2011 HYUNDAI SONATA 2.0T LIMITED - STEERS/PULLS LEFT IN ALL ROAD CONDITIONS. THE SEVERITY OF THE PULL GETS WORSE AS SPEED INCREASES. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE CONTACT REMOVED HIS HANDS FROM THE STEERING WHEEL AND THE VEHICLE DRIFTED ABNORMALLY TO THE LEFT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PROPERLY ALIGNED AND HE WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE A FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED CONSTANTLY AND WHEN DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THAT THEY COULD NOT OFFER ANY FURTHER ASSISTANCE BECAUSE THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 264.
CAR PULLS DANGEROUSLY TO THE LEFT, PREDOMINANTLY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, HOWEVER CAN OCCUR AT LESSER SPEEDS. IF WHEEL IS LET GO AT HIGHWAY SPEED, CAR WILL IMMEDIATELY DART TOWARDS THE MEDIAN FROM ANY ORIGINATING LANE. TWO ATTEMPTS TO CORRECT ISSUE AT DEALER HAVE NOT FIXED PROBLEM. DEALER STATED HE HAS SEEN SAME PROBLEM IN ANOTHER SONATA TURBO, BUT HAS NO FIX. FIRST CALL TO HYUNDAI REGIONAL OFFICE RESULTED IN DELIVERY OF A "SPECIAL TOOL" TO FIX SUPPOSED ALIGNMENT PROBLEM TO DEALER WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS. THREE SUBSEQUENT CALLS TO HYUNDAI HAVE TO THIS POINT GONE UNRETURNED. HYUNDAI IS PLAYING "DUMB" TO THIS DANGEROUS ISSUE.
JAN 28,2011 I DRIVE A HYUNDAI 2.0 TURBO BOUGHT ABOUT A MONTH AGO. ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO ON THE FREEWAY I WAS MAKING A LANE CHANGE, I HAD TO MAKE A SUDDEN CORRECTION DUE TO ME NOTICING A CAR IN MY BLIND SPOT. THERE WAS ALMOST LOSS OF CONTROL WHEN I TRIED TO CORRECT THE CAR. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING VARIOUS CARS FROM VW GTI TO GMS AND FORDS FOR 32 YRS. CAR HAS 1100 MILES ON IT! 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA WARNING: IT WAS MY MOST DANGEROUS DRIVING EXPERIENCE! 100% TRUE. *TR
MY CAR WAS WARMING UP IN THE DRIVEWAY. IT WAS RUNNING FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES. I WENT OUTSIDE AND IT WAS ON FIRE. THE FLAMES WERE COMING FROM UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. THERE IS ONLY ONE RECALL FOR THIS AND IT WAS MECHANICAL RELATED TO THE STEEERING COLUMN. THE FIRE WAS A DIFINITIVE SMELL OF ELECTRICAL BURNING. THE CAR WAS A TOTAL LOSS. *TR
2011 HYUNDAI SONATA TURBO SE PULLS VERY HEAVILY TO THE LEFT. PRESSURE NEEDS TO BE APPLIED TO THE STEERING WHEEL IN ORDER TO KEEP THE VEHICLE STRAIGHT. THIS IS EXTREMELY TIRESOME ON EXTENDED DRIVES. ARM MUSCLES BEGIN TO HURT HAVING TO APPLY PRESSURE TO HOLD THE STEERING WHEEL STRAIGHT. *TR
I HAVE A HYUNDAI SONATA 2011 LIMITED. THE CAR PULLS DANGEROUSLY TO THE LEFT DURING OPERATION AT HIGH WAY SPEEDS. THE ONLY WAY TO CORRECT THIS WHILE DRIVING IS TO JERK THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE RIGHT HALF OF AN INCH EVERY SO OFTEN DURING HIGHWAY OPERATION. IT SEEMS THE CAR REFUSES TO GO STRAIGHT. THIS IS A BRAND NEW CAR. *TR

ONE OF MY RELATIVES DIED IN AN AUTO ACCIDENT IN HER NEW 2011 SONATA, WHICH WAS MANUFACTURED ON 10/28/2010 BY HYUNDAI MOTOR ALABAMA. THE ACCIDENT WAS REPORTED ON A COMMUNITY WEBSITE. THE VEHICLE ROLLED UP ONTO A DIVIDER BETWEEN THE EXPRESS AND LOCAL LANES AND HIT THE END OF THE GUARDRAIL TO THE LEFT OF HER CAR. THE IMPACT SPUN HER VEHICLE INTO THE PATH OF A TRACTOR-TRAILER. THE TRAILER STRUCK THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR, AND SHE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE. THE SUBSEQUENT AUTOPSY REPORT COULD NOT IDENTIFY ANY MEDICAL CONDITIONS CAUSING HER TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. ON THE OTHER HAND, THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE POWER STEERING OF 2011 SONATA ON VARIOUS WEBSITES. ONE OF THEM IS THE WEBSITE OF AUTO RECALLS FOR CONSUMERS HTTP://WWW.ARFC.ORG/COMPLAINTS/2011/HYUNDAI/SONATA/STEERING/PROBLEM.ASPX 177 OUT OF 266 COMPLAINTS (67%) ON 6/12/2011 ARE RELATED TO THE STEERING COLUMN. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN, BECAUSE IT PULLS THE VEHICLE TO THE LEFT STRONGER AND STRONGER AS THE SPEED ACCELERATES ABOVE 25 MPH. SADLY, THE UNDERLYING CAUSE IS HARD TO DETECT, BECAUSE THE POWER STEERING OF THIS VEHICLE IS ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED. THOSE CONSUMER COMPLAINTS APPEAR TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THE EVIDENCE AT THE SCENE OF THIS ACCIDENT. THE POLICE REPORT INDICATED THAT THE CAR RAN INTO THE GUARDRAIL ON THE LEFT SIDE OF ROAD. THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRANSPORTATION SAFETY ADMINISTRATION (NHTSA) ONCE ANNOUNCED THE HYUNDAI SONATA RECALL ON 9/23/2010 IN CONNECTIONS WITH THE STEERING COLUMN. THE RECALL AFFECTS 2011 HYUNDAI SONATAS MANUFACTURED BETWEEN 12/11/2009 AND 9/10/2010. HOWEVER, IT APPEARS THAT THE DEFECT OF THE POWER STEERING COLUMN AFFECTS SONATA VEHICLES MANUFACTURED EVEN AFTER THIS RECALL PERIOD. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. AFTER TURNING OFF THE VEHICLE, THE KEY COULD NOT BE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE STARTER MOTOR WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. IN ADDITION, THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT MALFUNCTIONED AND WOULD NOT REMAIN LOCKED, AND THE HEADLIGHTS AND BRAKE LIGHT WOULD SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,000.
VEHICLE HAS PULLED TO THE LEFT SINCE NEW. AT APPROX. 7000 MILES THE LEFT HAND PULL CHANGED TO PULLING TO THE RIGHT AND LEFT AND WOULD REQUIRE A STEERING CORRECTION EVERY 4 SEC WHEN TRAVELING AT 70MPH ON A STRAIGHT HIGHWAY. THAT'S 900 CORRECTIONS PER HOUR FOR A LONGER TRIP. TALK ABOUT WORK! TALKED TO THE SERVICE TECH AT THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED CAR SEVERAL TIMES AND HE SAID THAT HYUNDAI REALLY DIDN'T HAVE A FIX FOR THE SONATA AT THIS TIME--8 MONTHS LATER. NOW HAVE 10,000 MILES ON CAR AND ROTATED TIRES AND NOW IT'S BACK TO THE LEFT PULL. TALK ABOUT AN UNSAFE CAR. *TT
WHEN STARTING FROM A STOP, THE VEHICLE WOULD ACCELERATE FOR A VERY FEW FEET - MAYBE 6-8 FEET, AND THEN QUIT - LIKE THE ENGINE HAD DIED, BUT IT HADN'T. THIS HAS HAPPENED 4-5 TIMES AND 3 OF THESE TIMES WERE WHEN TURNING LEFT THROUGH AN INTERSECTION WITH ON-COMING TRAFFIC. THE LAST TIME WAS ESPECIALLY HARROWING BECAUSE IT WAS DURING RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC. IT SEEMS TO TAKE 3-5 SECONDS FOR THE ENGINE TO "CATCH" AND ACCELERATE ON THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. PUMPING THE ACCELERATOR PEDDLE DID NOT HELP. IT IS LIKE THE ENGINE IS RECEIVING NO FUEL, OR IT IS FLOODING OUT FROM TOO MUCH FUEL (NO SMELL OF GASOLINE WAS DETECTED, HOWEVER). THIS IS A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION IF THE ENGINE EVER FAILS TO "RECOVER" AND ACCELERATE AS IT SHOULD. IT SHOULD ALSO BE NOTED THAT I HAVE COMPLAINED TO MY DEALER THAT THIS CAR DOES NOT RUN FROM IDLE AS OTHER CARS OF THE SAME MAKE I TEST DROVE - IT IS SOMEWHAT HESITANT ALL THE TIME - SLUGGISH.
I WAS MERGING ONTO A BUSY FREEWAY FROM AN ON RAMP SO HAD TO GO SLOWLY TILL THERE WAS AN OPENING. WHEN I STEPPED ON THE ACCELERATOR WHEN THERE WAS A BREAK IN THE TRAFFIC NOTHING HAPPENED. I JUST ROLLED INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC AT TEN MILES AN HOUR. IT TOOK THE CAR 5 TO 10 SECONDS TO FINALLY ACCELERATE AND THEN IT SLOWLY GAINED SPEED. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. VERY SCARY. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT COMPONENT FAILED. THE CAR WAS RUNNING, IT JUST WAS NOT ACCELERATING. TRANSMISSION? ENGINE? SOME COMPUTER FUNCTION?
WHEN DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED THE CAR MADE A HUGE THUD, IT AUTOMATICALLY SHIFTED FROM 6TH TO 4TH GEAR AND REMAINED STUCK IN FOURTH GEAR UNTIL YOU TURN OFF THE CAR. TOOK CAR TO DEALER AND ENTIRE TRANSMISSION HAD TO BE REPLACED. *TR
I PURCHASED THE 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA JUNE 2010. I WAS REALLY ENJOYING THE NEW SLEEK LOOK OF THE SONATA. I HAVE NEVER OWNED ANY TYPE OF HYUNDAI VEHICLE BEFORE. WELL AS I BEGAN TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE - I NOTICED THAT THERE WAS A BIT TOO MUCH SKIDDING ON WATER OR DURING RAIN FALL. THIS WAS DURING A SIMPLE TAKE OFF FROM A STOP. JANUARY 2011 I WAS TRAVELING AT ABOUT 35 MILES PER HOUR LIGHT SNOW WAS FALLING BUT THE ROADS WERE CLEAR. AS I WAS APPROACHING TRAFFIC AHEAD THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN AND TRAFFIC BEGAN TO MOVE. I NOTICED THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME NOT QUITE TAKING OFF WITH TRAFFIC SO I BEGAN TO BRAKE. TO MY SURPRISE - GUESS WHAT - THE CAR WAS NOT STOPPING. MY NICE PICTURE OF THE SKIDDING CAR LITE UP AND THE VIBRATION UNDER THE BRAKE PEDAL STARTED. SO I LET OFF AND PRESSED AGAIN AND THERE WAS STILL NO STOPPING. I BEGAN TO BLOW MY HORN IN A PANIC TO WARN THE DRIVER AHEAD I WAS COMING. (WELL AS YOU ALL MAY OR MAY NOT KNOW - THE HORN IS PRETTY LOUSY AND ACCORDING TO THE OTHER DRIVER - AFTER I HIT HIM - HE DIDN'T REALIZE IT WAS MY CAR UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE.) I LITERALLY HAD MY FOOT PRESSED TO THE FLOOR BLOWING THE HORN AND TRYING TO STOP THIS CAR BUT TO NO AVAIL IT DID NOT UNTIL WE COLLIDED. THANK GOD THERE WAS ONLY CRACKED BUMPERS INVOLVED BUT IT TRULY COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH WORSE. I AM TRULY AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS CAR IN THE VARIOUS ELEMENTS NOW BECAUSE I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT AND THE NEXT TIME WILL I BE ALIVE TO TELL ANOTHER STORY. PRETTY SCARY. *TR
PURCHASED NEW HYUNDAI 2011 SONATA TURBO.FROM DAY ONE EXPERIENCED EXTREME PULLING TO THE LEFT WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED. DEALER TRIED TO CORRECT PROBLEM BY ALIGNMENT, TIRE EXCHANGE, ETC. STILL TO NO AVAIL. CALLED CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND REGIONAL REPRESENTATIVE EVALUATED VEHICLE. THEY PUT A CAMBER ADJUSTMENT KIT ON IT AND THE PROBLEM PERSISTED. THEY THEN HAD HYUNDAI ENGINEERS EVALUATE IT AND PROCEEDED TO PUT A NEW STRUT ASSEMBLY ON THE VEHICLE "TWO TIMES" AND THE PROBLEM WAS LIGHTLY CORRECTED BUT STILL PULLS TO THE LEFT. I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE FOR ONE MONTH AND IT HAS BEEN IN THE DEALERSHIP MORE THAN IN MY POSSESSION. CAR HAS LESS THAN 700 MILES ON IT. HYUNDAI DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO PROCEED. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHIFT TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE ON ITS OWN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIANS WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50.
2011 HYUNDAI SONATA 2.0T LIMITED PULLS TO THE LEFT. TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER, THEY CLAIMED IT WAS ALIGNED, TOE IN CHECKED AND IT STILL PULLED TO THE LEFT. THEN THEY ROTATED THE TIRES AND CLAIM IT IS FIXED. IT STILL PULLS TO THE LEFT ALMOST ALL THE TIME. I BOUGHT THE CAR THE LAST DAY OF DECEMBER. 26.1K SPENT AND I HAVE TO HOLD PRESSURE TO THE RIGHT SO THE CAR WILL TRACK STRAIGHT. *LN
2011 HYUNDAI 2.0T NOTICED IN THE FIRST COUPLE OF DAYS OF OWNING THE VEHICLE IT PULLED TO THE LEFT. RETURNED IT TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE ON ALIGNMENT. I WAS TOLD THE ALIGNMENT WAS OUT AND THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED. SEEMED OKAY DRIVING HOME. THE VERY NEXT TIME I DROVE THE VEHICLE IT BEGAN TO PULL LEFT ONCE AGAIN. IF I DIDN'T HANG ON TO THE WHEEL SO TIGHT WHILE DRIVING THE CAR WOULD LOSE CONTROL VERY QUICKLY. CERTAINLY A SAFETY ISSUE. I HAVE SINCE TOLD MY DEALERSHIP I WOULD LIKE A LOANER VEHICLE UNTIL THIS PROBLEM IS RESOLVED AS THE VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE FOR THE ROAD. *LN
I PURCHASED A 2011 SONATA ON 12/24/2010. I HAVE DRIVEN THE CAR 600 MILES AND NOW THE CAR VEERS TO THE LEFT AFTER TURNING RIGHT. IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. AT 60MPH ON THE EXPRESSWAY THE VEERS TO LEFT AS IF I AM GOING TO CRASH INTO THE CONCRETE MEDIAN. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP (1/6/2011) AND THE SAID THEY PERFORMED SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD AND THE CAR IS FIXED. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the door latches needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. THE PULL TO THE LEFT IS SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH TO CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO CHANGE LANES QUICKLY AND DANGEROUSLY IF THE WHEEL IS LEFT UNATTENDED FOR A FEW SECONDS. CONSTANT DRIVER INPUT TO TURN THE WHEEL RIGHT IS ALWAYS NEEDED TO COUNTERACT THIS TENDENCY TO PULL LEFT. TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE LEFT REQUIRES SIGNIFICANTLY LESS EFFORT THAN TURNING THE WHEEL TO THE RIGHT. THIS ISSUE OCCURS ON ALL ROADS, REGARDLESS OF THE TRAVEL LANE, CROWN, OR PAVEMENT TYPE. THE COMPLAINANT SAID HIS DEALER MADE ADDITIONAL REPAIR ATTEMPTS (ECCENTRIC CAMBER BOLTS TO EXTEND SUSPENSION ALIGNMENT ADJUSTMENT RANGE, REPLACED FRONT LEFT MCPHERSON STRUT, SUBFRAME ALIGNMENT) BUT THE PROBLEM REMAINS. I STARTED THE CAR IN THE PARKING GARAGE AND A HIGH PITCHED WHINE WAS PRODUCED WHILE THE ESP LIGHT WAS FLASHING. I TURNED THE MOTOR OFF AND RESTARTED AND THE ISSUE WENT AWAY, LATER THAT EVENING AFTER LEAVING A RESTAURANT I STARTED THE CAR AND THE LOUD HIGH PITCH WHINE STARTED AGAIN WITH THE ESP LIGHT FLASHING.
