The contact stated that while taking his children to daycare and driving 35 MPH, several unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle was hesitating while driving. The contact pulled into the parking lot. The contact stated that there was an abnormal chattering sound coming from the tires. The contact stated that the disc brakes had seized. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 7,500.
The brake warning light came on as the vehicle was failing. It did not give me any warning prior, I was leaving my driveway to go to the market when this light indicator came on and my brake I could tell was failing because I had put my foot all the way down on the floor, so I decided to not go to the store and back in and I was having trouble all the way down my driveway with the brake my boyfriend examined the vehicle and underneath the front and rear axle. Both the line had holes in it so that was from the line rubbing against the wheel well and that was the way the car was built so when he went to go check the brake fluid underneath the hood. The reservoir was completely empty, and there was brake fluid gushing everywhere down the driveway because I went to go look out front and there was just brake fluid everywhere. I would’ve if I would’ve went to the store, I would have not had brakes and I live in an area where there’s a lot of hills. I could’ve not only hurt myself, but have hurt someone else.
