VEHICLE STALLS WHILE DRIVING SOMETIMES AT 3/4 FULL AND SOMETIMES AT 1/2 TANK FULL OF GAS AND SOMETIMES IN BETWEEN THE TWO MAKING IT UNPREDICTABLE AND UNSAFE.
THE ENGINE REPEATEDLY STALLS DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS OR WHILE BRAKING. THIS HAS HAPPENED DOZENS OF TIMES, INCLUDING WHILE DRIVING THROUGH PARKING LOTS, BRAKING DURING RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC ON CITY STREETS AND FREEWAY OFF RAMPS AS WELL AS BRAKING ON A LEFT TURN THROUGH A TRAFFIC LIGHT ON A HIGHWAY, ALMOST CAUSING ME TO GET REAR ENDED MULTIPLE TIMES. THIS PROBLEM IS IDENTICAL TO PROBLEMS THAT PRECIPITATED A RECALL OF OTHER INIFINITI MODELS, SAME MODEL YEAR, HOWEVER THE EX35 WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. CAR HAS BEEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO CANNOT IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM.
AUTO STALLS AT LOW SPEED MOTION EITHER WHILE SLOWING DOWN OR STARTING TO MOVE. STALLS OUT IN TRAFFIC AND ALMOST CAUSED SEVERAL WRECKS ON A CITY STREET WHEN STALLED TRYING TO GET THROUGH TRAFFIC.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 INFINITI EX35. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE ENGINE STALLED AND THE ENTIRE INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
RADIATOR CRACKED AT THE JUNCTION OF THE ALUMINUM AND PLASTIC CAUSING THE CAR TO OVERHEAT AND STALL. IT WAS EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THIS WAS NOT UNCOMMON DUE TO THE USE OF PLASTICS IN THE COOLING SYSTEM NOW. THERE IS NO REPAIR ABLE TO BE DONE BECAUSE OF THE PLASTIC AND THE RADIATOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. *TR
