The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The dealer determined that the infotainment system and the rearview camera needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. UNKNOWN. System failed to warn me that a car was approaching on my blind spot and if I had the warning it could have prevented an accident. Had a warning been given allowing me to know not to cross the lane I would have been more aware of the car approaching my lane and then the automatic emergency braking system could’ve kicked in to prevent this accident from happening in the first place.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
