WHILE DRIVING, THE HORN, LIGHTS AND WIPERS RANDOMLY GO OFF AND SPRAY FLUID EVERYWHERE. NOTHING CAN BE DONE TO STOP IT AND EVEN TURNING THE CAR OFF DOESN'T. IT CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS TO ME AND OTHER DRIVERS SINCE THEY DO NOT KNOW WHY MY HORN IS GOING OFF FOR MINUTES AT A TIME. I DON'T WANT TO BE BEHIND SOMEONE AT AN INTERSECTION WITH MY HORN AND WIPERS GOING OFF. LOOKING ONLINE I CAN SEE THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS MODEL AND SHOULD BE FIXED BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT.
HOTOIL ALARM COMES ON UNDER NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS ON A DAILY BASIS. TRANSMISSION IS OVERHEATING AND NEEDS AN APPROPRIATE GRABS COOLER OR THIS WILL CAUSE FIRE. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ASAP BEFORE TRANSMISSION FAILURE!
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED MORE THAN ONCE WITHOUT WARNING. THE HORN SOUNDED AND THE COMPUTER SHORTED. THE KEY WAS ABLE TO BE REMOVED WITH THE VEHICLE STILL RUNNING AND HAD NOT TURNED OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER (SAFFORD CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM FIAT OF WINCHESTER, 1659 BERRYVILLE PIKE, WINCHESTER, VA 22603, (540) 667-5532) WHO STATED THAT THE PCM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER REPLACED THE PART AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE STALLED AT 60 MPH. THE KEY WAS REMOVED AND THE STATE TROOPER HAD TO DIRECT TRAFFIC BECAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER WHO INDICATED THAT THE TIPM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN AT THE DEALER'S FOR MONTHS WITH NO SOLUTION. THE SERVICE CENTER MANAGER ESCALATED THE CONCERN TO THE MANUFACTURER. A CASE MANAGER WAS TO FOLLOW UP WITH THE CONTACT TO DETERMINE IF A SOLUTION WAS RECOMMENDED FROM THE MANUFACTURER. THE DEALER ALSO MENTIONED A WARRANTY, BUT DID NOT DISCLOSE IF THERE WOULD BE A REPAIR CONCERNING THE REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER ISSUED AN ELECTRICAL RECALL FOR THE 2007 MODEL, BUT NOT THE 2008 MODEL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
HORN, WIPERS, WIPER FLUID, AIR CONDITIONER, AND TAIL LIGHTS WILL ALL RANDOMLY START GOING OFF, AND NOT EVEN SHUTTING DOWN THE ENGINE AND REMOVING THE KEY STOPS IT.
TAKATA RECALL. OUR SELLING / SERVICING DEALER HAS RECEIVED SPONTANEOUS, LIMITED DELIVERIES OF THE PARTS (DRIVER & PASSENGER SIDE), BUT WILL NOT MAINTAIN A LIST OF CUSTOMERS WHO NEED THE PARTS. IT IS 1ST COME 1ST SERVED, NO APPOINTMENTS, NO WAITING LIST. MUST CALL WEEKLY OR "STOP BY" TO SEE IF PARTS AVAILABLE. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!
THE JEEP'S HORN, WIPER BLADES, WIPER FLUID AND HEADLIGHTS GO OFF BY THEMSELVES EVEN WHEN THE KEY IS NOT IN THE IGNITION. THEN THE JEEP BEGAN CUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC.
MOUNTING BRACKETS ON MIRRORS DETERIORATED. DRIVER SIDE FELL OFF WHILE DRIVING ABOUT A YEAR AGO. TODAY MY PASSENGER MIRROR FELL OFF IN TRAFFIC ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. THE METAL ON THE BRACKET ALMOST LOOKS ROTTEN AND PITTED.
WALKED TO VEHICLE, PRESSED UNLOCK ON KEY FOB, ALL ELECTRICAL SEEMED TO GO OFF AT ONCE. HORN BLARING, LIGHTS FLASHING, WINDSHIELD WIPERS GOING, AND WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID SPRAYING OUT. TRIED PRESSING ALL BUTTONS ON KEY FOB TO SHUT IT OFF, DIDN'T WORK. OUT KEY IN IGNITION AND TURNED IT. DID NOTHING. AFTER A COUPLE OF MINUTES IT QUIT ON ITS OWN. SAME THING HAPPENED TWO OTHER TIMES TODAY. GOOGLE SHOWS SAME SYMPTOMS WITH ALL JEEPS AND OTHER CHRYSLER VEHICLES 2007 - PRESENT. ISSUE APPEARS TO BE FAULTY TIPM MODULE. CONTACTED DEALER AND CHRYSLER/JEEP. SAME ANSWER FROM BOTH, NO RECALL. SO I PAY TO GET IT FIXED, AND HOPE THE REPLACEMENT PART DOESN'T REAP OUT.
DRIVING JEEP IN DOWNTOWN TRAFFIC SUDDENLY HORN,SIGNAL LIGHT, WIPERS STARTED WORKING WITH NO INPUT FROM FROM ME PULLED OVER TRIED TO TURN JEEP OFF KEPT RUNNING . HAD TO PULL FUSE TO SHUT ENGINE OFF. WAS TOLD IT WAS THE TIPM AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD COST OVER $1000 TO FIX !!!!!! WAS ALSO TOLD THEY WERE HAVING LOTS OF PROBLEMS WITH THIS . NEEDS TO BE A RECALL !!! HOPEFULLY YOU DO NOT DRAG YOUR HEALS LIKE YOU DID ON THE CLOCK SPRING !
DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE MIRRORS HAVE BOTH FAILED. METAL HOUSING HAS CORRODED AND FAILED. DRIVER SIDE MIRROR HAD VIBRATION WHEN DRIVING, WHEN EXAMINING THE MIRROR IT BROKE OFF (IN FALL OF 2016). PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR FELL OFF WHILE DRIVING WITH NO WARNING. WAS DRIVING STRAIGHT ON SECONDARY ROAD AT ABOUT 35 MPH, NOTHING HIT THE MIRROR TO CAUSE IT TO FAIL. COULD HAVE HIT ANOTHER CAR AND IS A SAFETY HAZARD.. FAILURE APPEARS TO BE CORROSION OF ALUMINUM STRUCTURE AND POSSIBLE STEEL POST THAT HOLDS THE MIRROR. THERE WAS A LOT OF WHITE CORROSION OR MINERAL BUILD UP ON THE REMAINING ALUMINUM. HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE SINCE NEW, USED PRIMARILY IN MASSACHUSETTS.
UNDERSTAND FROM THE JEEP WEB APP, FIAT CHRYSLER HAS PARTS AVAILABLE FOR THE PASSENGER AIR BAG RECALL S43. BUT, I CANNOT GET A DEALER SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT FOR THE RECALL SINCE FIAT CHRYSLER IS LIMITING DEALERS FROM ORDERING THE AVAILABLE PARTS. I MUST WAIT UNTIL THE DEALER USES THEIR INVENTORY BUT A NEW SHIPMENT CAN BE RECEIVED. AT THIS TIME ALL ARE MARKED FOR VEHICLES. SEEMS FIAT CHRYSLER DOE NOT THINK SAFETY IS A CONCERN AND MAY BE EVEN FIGHTING THE NHTSA ORDERED RECALL. IT'S HARD TO DETERMINE. GOTTEN ANSWERS FROM PARTS ARE STILL BEING MANUFACTORED TO IN THE WAREHOUSE WHAT A SHAME THE PUBLIC'S SAFETY IS HELD IN SUCH A LOW REGUARD.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2008 JEEP WRANGLER. WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY, FLAMES COULD BE SEEN UNDER THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. AFTER STOPPING THE VEHICLE, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE ENGINE WAS ON FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FLAMES. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. ENGINE CAUGHT ON FIRE. JEEP FULLY ENGULFED IN FLAMES.
VEHICLE STATIONARY AND IN MOTION A SINGLE DING WILL GO OFF EVERY COUPLE OF MINUTES, MORE OFTEN AT SLOWER SPEEDS. NO DASH LIGHT ON NO INDICATION AS TO WHY IT IS DINGING. ALSO PARKED ON HILL WHEN I PUT IT IN REVERSE TO BEGIN GOING INTO MOTION THE VEHICLE SHAKES AT AN UNSETTLING FEELING UNTIL I GET TO FLAT GROUND AND PUT IT INTO DRIVE.
WHILE DRIVING APPROX 60 MPH I HIT A BUMP IN THE ROAD...CAR STARTED SHAKING UNCONTROLLABLY..STEERING WHEEL WAS SHAKING ..HAD TO SLOW IMMEDIATELY...WAS ALMOST REAR ENDED ON HIGHWAY...LUCKILY THE PERSON BEHIND ME WASN'T TOO CLOSE AND ABLE TO SLOW TO A STOP...THIS IS AN INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS SITUATION AND JEEP IS CLAIMING THERE IS NOTHING WRONG...MY CAR WAS PURCHASED NEW AND IS TOTALLY STOCK...I READ THAT ITS DESCRIBED AS THE "DEATH WOBBLE". IS JEEP WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DIE BEFORE ACKNOWLEDGING THE PROBLEM?
GOT INTO THE JEEP, STARTED AND PLACED INTO REVERSE, SUDDENLY, WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING AND RANDOMLY THE HORN STARTS GOING OFF, WIPER FLUID SHOOTING OUT AND THE WIPERS GOING LIKE CRAZY, AIR CONDITIONER NOT WORKING AND RADIO BLASTING AND GOING QUIET. . NOTHING YOU CAN DO WILL MAKE IT STOP, THIS WILL BE A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSSUE IF IT HAPPENS WHEN I AM DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. TO PUMP FUEL IT TAKES 20 MINUTES TO FILL IT UP YOU CAN'T WALK AWAY OR IT WILL OVER FLOW ... JEEP LEFT ME SIT THE OTHER DAY AND NO GARAGE CAN TELL ME WHATS WRONG WITH IT... ITS NOT THE STARTER ...
TIPM MODULE - WHY HAS THERE NOT BEEN A RECALL ON THE TIPM MODULES. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD. THERE ARE TONS OF COMPLAINTS ON THIS. JEEP NEEDS TO STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. I HAVE LESS THAN 50,000 MILES ON THE JEEP AND SHOULD NOT BE HAVING TO REPLACE THIS MODULE. THIS IS A $1500 FIX AND THEY ARE NOTORIOUS FOR GOING OUT.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE IGNITION MADE A CLICKING SOUND AND HESITATED TO START. NEUWIRTH MOTORS IN WILMINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REPLACED THE IGNITION AND THE STARTER, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 50,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HORN, WIPERS, AND POWER LOCKS INDEPENDENTLY FUNCTIONED. THE FAILURES OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND THE BATTERY WAS DISCONNECTED IN ORDER FOR THE FAILURE TO CEASE. PRIOR TO THE FAILURE, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE REMEDIED FOR A SIMILAR FAILURE. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE REMEDY FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V290000 (AIR BAGS) WOULD NEED TO BE PERFORMED IN ORDER FOR THE MALFUNCTION TO BE RESOLVED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 69,000.

THE ENGINE USES EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. 1.5 QUARTS PER 1000 MILES AT THE MINIMUM. THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT COST AND HAS BEEN VERIFIED AS A ISSUE IN MULTIPLE JEEP WRANGLERS WITH THIS ISSUE. CHRYSLER CORP. HAS CEASED PRODUCTION FROM THE PLANT IN MEXICO WHICH BUILDS THESE ENGINES, BUT REFUSES TO REPAIR THIS ISSUE. DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT SEAT BELT LATCH OCCASIONALLY DOES NOT LATCH ALSO OCCASIONALLY WILL NOT RELEASE WITHOUT HAVING TO OPEN ROOF PULL SEAT BELT SLACK ALL THE WAY OUT AND STAND UP IN SEAT TO GET OUT OF VEHICLE. THEN HAVE TO HIT AND WORK WITH LATCH APPROXIMATELY 2-3 BEFORE IT WILL RELEASE. IF IN AN ACCIDENT NOT SURE IF SEATBELT LATCH WILL HOLD FORCES OR NOT LET YOU OUT OF A POSSIBLE BURNING CAR. ALSO FUEL BACKFLOWS FROM FILL INLET AT EVERY FILLIP IF I DO NOT STOP IT BEFORE FULL.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY THE 2008 JEEP WRANGLERS ARE HAVING SO MANY TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS, AND JEEP AND CHRYSLER IS SITTING ON THE THEIR BACKSIDES BLAMING THE DRIVERS? IF MULTIPLE PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME TYPE OF PROBLEM, YOU WOULD THINK SOMEONE WOULD LOOK INTO THE PROBLEM, BUT NO THEY DEALERS AND THE COMPANY CONTINUE TO DISREGARD IT FORCING OWNERS TO SPEND MORE AND MORE MONEY. I REFUSE TO SPEND MONEY TO BAND-AID THE ISSUES. THIS SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL DUE TO THE FACT THAT WHEN IT HAPPENS IT LEAVES THE DRIVER SITTING STILL IN TRAFFIC. I AM AFRAID TO PUT MY FAMILY IN THE VEHICLE FOR THAT SAME REASON. THE VEHICLE WAS CURRENTLY AT FRED MARTIN SUPERSTORE (3195 BARBER RD, BARBERTON, OH 44203, (330) 753-4444) TO HAVE THE BALL JOINTS, TIE RODS, STEERING DAMPER, AND UNIVERSAL JOINTS REPLACED FOR THE SECOND TIME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 124,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.

TAKATA RECALL: WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY TRAVELING AT 50MPH OR HIGHER, IF THE JEEP HITS A SMALL BUMP, THE VEHICLE WILL BEGIN TO VIOLENTLY SHAKE, ONLY STOPPING THE VEHICLE MAKES IT COME TO A STOP. THIS EXTREME WOBBLE MAKES CONTROLLING THE VEHICLE DIFFICULT, WHICH COULD HAVE RESULTED IN SEVERE HIGHWAY ACCIDENTS. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS IN ANY TYPE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER.THIS HAS REQUIRED ME TO PULL OFF THE HIGHWAY SEVERAL TIMES, WHICH IN ITSELF IS ALSO A DANGEROUS SITUATION TO BE IN. I HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP OF PURCHASE 2 TIMES WITH IN THE FIRST 6 WEEK OF PURCHASE AND THEN THE DEALERSHIP OF PURCHASE SENT IT TO THE LOCAL JEEP DEALERSHIP WHICH IT HAS BEEN THERE 3 TIME IN A 2 MONTH PERIOD IN AN ATTEMPT TO FIX IT. THEY HAVE REPLACED MY STEERING DAMPENER,SWAY BAR LINK, TRACK BAR, BUSHING, BALANCED MY TIRES, AND REPLACED ANY IN THE FRONT SUSPENSION IN AN ATTEMPT TO FIX THE PROBLEM WHICH HAS NOT TO THIS POINT. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS PROBLEM- CAN'T BELIEVE THERE IS NOT A RECALL!
TANK OVERFLOWS WITH FUEL EVERYTIME I FILL IT UP WITH FUEL CAUSING A SAFETY ISSUE.
MY WRANGLER HEADLIGHTS STOPED WORKING ONE MORNING. TURN THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH ON FOR THEM TO FLICKER ON AND OFF A FEW TIMES OVER 5 SECONDS THEN THEY STAY OFF ALL TOGETHER. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY SCANNED IT TOLD ME IT WAS SHOWING THESE 4 CODES. B162F-RIGHT LOW BEAM CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW B162C-LEFT LOW BEAM CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH B162B-LEFT LOW BEAM CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW B1630-RIGHT LOW BEAM CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH THEY CHECKED OVER EVERYTHING AND SAID THAT IT WAS A FAULTY TIPM.

I TOOK MY VEHICLE TWICE TO THE DEALER, MORITZ, IN FORT WORTH AND WAS TOLD THE PASSENGER AIRBAG PROBLEM WAS FIXED BUT ACCORDING TO THIS SITE IT HAS NOT. I'M STILL AWAITING NOTIFICATION THAT THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG PARTS TO COME IN TO GET THAT PROBLEM RESOLVED.

LAST YEAR (2016) I HAD A PIECE OF PLASTIC (LOOKS LIKE TAPE) COMING OUT BETWEEN THE STEERING WHEEL AND STEERING COLUMN WHILE DRIVING ON OUR LOCAL STREET. I DIDN'T REALIZE IT WAS WIRES AT FIRST. THIS WIRE 'TAPE' EVENTUALLY BROKE WHICH MEANS YOU DON'T HAVE A WORKING AIRBAG, HORN, ETC. BROUGHT IT TO A LOCAL GARAGE LAST FALL (2016) AND WAS TOLD THE CLOCK SPRING CAUSED THIS AND THERE WAS A RECALL ON IT. PUT THE JEEP IN THE GARAGE FOR THE WINTER AND TODAY (3/2/2017) CALLED THE DEALER TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. AFTER GIVING THEM THE VIN # I WAS TOLD THAT THE RECALL DIDN'T APPLY TO MY JEEP WRANGLER. BTW IT ONLY HAD 40,920 MILES ON IT!
THE DEATH WOBBLE!!!! WHEN I HIT A BUMP OR POTHOLE . I FEEL MY JEEP IS LITERALLY COMING APART. MY JEEP IS 2008 AND THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE SKNCE WE BOUGHT IT ANOUT 5 YEARS AGAO. THE FRONT END DEVELOPED A BAD SHAKING. IF YOU ARE RIDDING AT 60 TO 65 MPH AND HIT A VERY SLIGHT BUMP THE FRONT END DEVELOPS A SHAKE THAT CAUSES YOU TO LOOSE CONTROL AND HAVE TO COME TO AN ABRUPT STOP EVEN IS YOU ARE ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY. JEEP CALLED IT A DEATH WOBBLE BUT THEY SAID ITS NOT A RECALL ! ARE THEY CRAZY ? MY WIFE ALMOST GOT KILLED. SHE HAD TO COME TO A SUDDEN STOP ON ROUT 18 IN NEW JERSEY WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH AND A TRUCK WAS BARRELING DOWN ON HER. THANK GOD THE TRUCK WAS ABLE TO STOP IN TIME. THE VEHICLE SPILLS FUEL EVERY TIME IT IS FILLED AT THE GAS PUMP. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME IT IS FILLED REGARDLESS OF THE GAS STATION OR OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE. THIS HAS HAPPENED SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IN 2012.
FOR THE PAST 3 MONTHS I WILL BE DRIVING, IN A PRETTY AVERAGE WAY, NOT SPEEDING OR BRAKING TO HARD, WHEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN MY HORN, ALARM, WIPERS, WINDSHIELD WIPER FLUID, AND LIGHTS WILL GO ON AND WONT STOP FOR UP TO 5 MINUTES, IT HAS DONE THIS WHEN THE JEEP IS STATIONARY, IN MOTION, OR EVEN WITHOUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION
ON TWO OCCASIONS NOW THE HORN, WIPERS AND WINDSHIELD WASH HAVE COME ON BY THEMSELVES. THEY WOULD SHUT NOT OFF UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS SHUT DOWN.
THIS AFFECTS 6 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS. THE CAR VIOLENTLY POPS OUT OF FIRST GEAR WHEN ACCELERATING. THEY EVEN ISSUED A TSB ON IT. IT HAS DONE THIS MULTIPLE TIMES BUT I ALMOST HAD A VERY SERIOUS ACCIDENT LAST WEEK WHEN PULLING OUT ONTO A MAJOR HIGHWAY FROM A STOP. THIS WILL GET SOMEONE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED.
RECEIVED A RECALL FOR THE CLOCK SPRING. THE HORN IN OUR WRANGLER STOPPED WORKING HAD A MECHANIC DIAGNOSIS THE PROBLEM AS THE CLOCK SPRING. JEEP DEALERSHIP SAID THE PART IS ON BACK ORDER. CALLED JEEP AND THEY STATED TO GET THE VEHICLE DIAGNOSED BY DEALERSHIP AND THEY CAN EXPEDITE THE PART CALLED DEALERSHIP BACK AND THEY STATED THEY WOULD CHARGE US TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AND IT WOULD NOT HELP GET THE PART. THIS VEHICLE IS A SAFETY CONCERN AND WILL NOT PASS INSPECTION SO THE VEHICLE CAN BE LICENSED.

THE CONTACT CALLED A LOCAL DEALER (STAFFORD CHRYSLER, JEEP, DODGE OF SPRINGFIELD, 7611 LOISDALE RD, SPRINGFIELD, VA 22150) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE MAY BE DUE TO THE FUEL TANK AND/OR FILLER TUBE. THE REPAIR WOULD COST $900. THE CONTACT DECLINED TO PAY AND BELIEVED IT SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER A RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND DID NOT ASSIST. I WAS DRIVING DOWN A GRAVEL ROAD AND MY JEEP DIED. THEN, I SAW SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD AND I LOOKED AND IT WAS ON FIRE. THE BODY, WHEELS, INTERIOR, EVERYTHING BURNED DOWN.

IT HAPPENS RANDOMLY BUT THE WIPERS, WASHER FLUID, LIGHTS INCLUDING REVERSE LIGHTS AND HORN CAME ON AND WOULD NOT TURN OFF. ENGINE WOULD NOT SHUT OFF. AFTER DOING A LITTLE BIT OF RESEARCH IT SEEMS LIKE THERE ARE LOTS OF PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THIS AND THEY ALL CONCLUDED THAT IT WAS THE TIPM. IT USUALLY HAPPENS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION AND I WOULD SAY IT HAPPENS EVERY OTHER WEEK.
