crankcase ventilation valve continues to fail. I have had it replaced twice in 3 months.
Purchased new 2015 MB e400 in 12/2014 MB issued a bulliten in 12/15 (1 year later) indicating that the engines may experience a problem with the timing belt harness which may cause engine failure. We have the exact same issue now at 69k miles and MB refuses to acknowledge the issue claiming i need a new engine. I cannot use the car for fear of engine failure which may cause death or serious injury
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E250. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED, THE DEALER BECAME AWARE THAT THE WIRES LEADING UP TO THE ECU WAS STRIPPED OF THE PLASTIC SHIELDING AND DETACHED FROM THE ECU. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MERCEDES-BENZ OF PALM BEACH LOCATED AT 4000 OKEECHOBEE BLVD, WEST PALM BEACH, FL 33409, TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE STRIPPED WIRING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 79,537. *LN*JB
