THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FUCCILLO MITSUBISHI LOCATED AT 18822 US-11, WATERTOWN, NY 13601, AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL SUBJECTED TO THE VIN. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V867000 (STRUCTURE) AND STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS EXACTLY WHAT THE RECALL ADDRESSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE NHTSA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 128,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE KELLY MITSUBISHI DEALER LOCATED AT 536 STATE AVE, EMMAUS, PA 18049; (610) 967-2101 WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AREA NEEDED TO BE CLEANED WITH THE WD40 AND BRUSH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT FELT THAT THE CLEANING WOULD NOT DO ANY GOOD FOR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AT 888-648-7820 AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO OTHER THAN THE WD40. THE APPROXIMATE THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,000.
