I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY, AT NIGHT, IN THE RAIN, AND MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOPPED WORKING. I TRIED EVERY SETTING TO NO AVAIL. I TRIED USING THE CLEANING FLUID (WHICH USUALLY TRIGGERS THE WIPERS) AND THE FLUID PUMPED, BUT THE WIPERS DIDN'T WIPE. THE REAR WIPER IS STILL WORKING. I PULLED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, AND CHECKED THE FUSES, AND THEY ARE FINE. I TRIED TO MANUALLY MOVE THE WIPERS, AND THEY MOVED FREELY.

However, the dealer only replaced the rod of the wiper link instead of replacing both the rod of the wiper link and the wiper motor crank arm, free of charge, per the recall remedy notes.
