I RECENTLY BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE AND I'LL BE DRIVING AND MY ENGINE WILL STALL LIKE IT'S GOING TO DIE AND THEN THE LIGHT COMES ON THAT SAYS SLIP AND VDC OFF I BELIEVE IT IS SAYING THAT THIS RECALL WAS INCOMPLETE ON THIS VEHICLE CAN YOU PLEASE REPLYTHE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION WHEN THIS IS HAPPENING AND IT IS HAPPENING EVERY TIME I DRIVE THE VEHICLE
TAKATA RECALL, I CHANGED ALL THEE COIL PACKS, ALTERNATOR, STARTER, BATTERIES, OIL CHANGE ON TIME BUT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WOULD NEVER GO OFF. THE CAR HAS STALLED ON ME SEVERAL TIMES ALMOST CAUSING ACCIDENTS (SEVERAL TIMES). MY CAR WOULD SMOKE SOOO BAD WHEN I STOP AND THAT WAS BECAUSE THE MOTOR KEPT DUMPING OIL IN 5HE THROTTLE. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS CAR BECAUSE IT MAY CATCH ON FIRE DUE TO THE EXTREME OIL LEAK.
TAKAYUKI ENGINE MALFUNCTIONS WHILE IN MOTION ENGINES LIGHT BLINKING
LAST WEEK WAS ALMOST IN AN ACCIDENT WHEN MY CAR COMPLETELY TURNED OFF WHILE WAITING AT A LIGHT AT NIGHT. I WAS ALMOST HIT SEVERAL TIMES. LAST YEAR I HAD THE ALTERNATOR REPLACED. THIS TIME I HAD THE CAM SHIFT SENSORS REPLACED. GUESS WHAT? IT HAPPENED ALL OVER AGAIN IN ONE WEEK. PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DIE. MY VEHICLE LOST ITS ABILITY TO EVEN HAVE ITS HAZARD BUTTONS ON. MY VEHICLE IS UNDER NO RECALL. HOW CAN THIS COMPANY GET AWAY WITH THIS? CAN THEY AT LEAST TELL US WHAT IS WRONG, SO THAT WE CAN FIX IT?

COOLANT WAS LEAKING ON DRIVEWAY, FOUND THAT THE TENSIONER BRACKET IS CRACKED AND IS RUBBING UP AGAINST A COOLANT HOSE, CAUSING A BREACH IN HOSE AND LEAKAGE. THE DEALERSHIP IS QUOTING ME OVER $500 TO REPLACE THE TENSIONER BRACKET AND ASSOCIATED PULLEY AND "SCREW". I CALLED NISSAN CORPORATE ASKING THEM TO EITHER FIX FOR FREE OR DISCOUNT THE SERVICE. THEY SAID ITS NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY. I SEE ALOT OF THIS EXACT COMPONENT FAILURE REPORTED ONLINE, I HOPE NISSAN PONIES UP SOMEDAY. *TT
2005 NISSAN MURANO TAKEN IN TO NISSAN OF GASTONIA ON 4/27/10 TO HAVE THE AIR INTAKE RECALL CORRECTED. MILEAGE IS ABOUT 52,000 MILES. ON 4/29/10, MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND IMMEDIATELY HAD TROUBLE WITH DELAYED STARTING. CODE P0345 CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR A BANK 2 CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION. CALLED DEALERSHIP AND MADE APPOINTMENT FOR THEIR NEXT AVAILABLE DATE 5/4/10 AND TOOK IT IN TO BE LOOKED AT. SERVICE MANAGER FELT QUITE CERTAIN THAT THEY HAD LEFT SOMETHING UNPLUGGED. HE CAME BACK TO ME 1 HOUR LATER TO ADVISE THAT I NEEDED A NEW CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. IT COST ME $247 TO REPLACE THE SENSOR. TOO MANY ISSUES WITH THIS SENSOR ON LINE ON NISSAN RECALLS FOR THIS NOT TO BE A SAFETY CONCERN ON THE 05 MURANOS' TOO. *TR

2005 NISSAN MURANO - 66K MILES. ALTERNATOR TENSION ARM SNAPPED OFF WHILE DRIVING, ALSO CAUSING A CRACK IN THE TIMING COVER. THERE HAD BEEN A SQUEAKING NOISE IN THE DAYS LEADING UP THE FAILURE. ONCE THE ARM BROKE THERE WAS A VERY LOUD CLUNKING NOISE. I WAS FORCED TO PULL OVER ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND WAIT FOR A TOW. THE TENSION ARM, BRACKET, BELTS AND TIMING COVER NEED TO BE REPLACED. BECAUSE THE TIMING COVERS PLACEMENT, IT WILL REQUIRE PULLING THE ENGINE OUT. *TR
