IT WAS NOVEMBER 2011, I WAS DRIVING MY NISSAN 2007 AT THAT TIME I WAS 9 MONTHS PREGNANT. MY DAUGHTER WHO WAS 5 YEARS OLD WAS WITH ME. I WAS ENTERING THE FREEWAY WHEN MY CAR STARTED TO SHAKE,MAKE NOISES AND IT STARTED TO SLOWDOWN ON ITS OWN. I PRESSES THE SPEEDING PEDAL BUT IT KEPT LOOSING POWER. MY DAUGHTER WAS CRYING BECAUSE SHE WAS SCARE. I WAS CRYING TOO I DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO I WAS IN A DANGEROUS SITUATION BECAUSE IT HAPPEN WHEN TRAFFIC WAS AT ITS PICK. I COULD NOT STOP BECAUSE CARS WHERE BEHIND ME AND I COULD NOT SPEED BECAUSE MY CAR WAS LOOSING POWER AND IT SMELL LIKE SOMETHING WAS BURNING. I MANAGE TO GET OFF THE FREEWAY WITH THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND STOP THE CAR AT THE MOMENT THE CAR DIE(NO POWER). A TOW TRUCK HAD TO TAKE AS HOME. NISSAN WOULD NOT FIX THE PROBLEM BECAUSE OF THE MILES/WARRANTY WHICHEVER COMES FIRST RULE THAT THEY HAVE. THEY WOULD FIXED FOR A LOT OF MONEY ANYWAY I TOOK IT TO A SHOP AN I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE RADIATOR WHICH DAMAGE THE TRANSMISSION. I HAD IT REPAIR AND A FEW DAYS LATTER ALL THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS ON THE CAR TURN ON AND WENT CRAZY AND THE CAR STOP AT ONES THIS TIME IT WAS THE GAS TANK. IT SCARE ME SO MUCH THAT I CALL MY HUSBAND AND TOLD HIM, "THIS CAR IS GOING TO KILL ME AND MY CHILDREN" NISSAN PATHFINDER IS DANGEROUS AND SOMETHING MUST BE DONE OR SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET KILL. IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE PLEASE HELP US. DO SOMETHING WE NEED HELP PATHFINDERS ARE DANGEROUS NISSAN WON'T FIX THIS FACTORY PROBLEM WITH OUT GETTING PAY. PLEASE A RECALL NEEDS TO GET DONE. I BEG YOU DO SOMETHING THIS IS THE USA OR NOT? I KNOW AT LIST 3 MORE PEOPLE THAT HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH THIS CARS AND ALL THE MECHANICS AGREE THAT IT IS A FACTORY PROBLEM. I WILL NEVER BUY A NISSAN IT IS A LEMON! FIRST RADIATOR LINKAGE THEN LIQUID IN TRANSMISSION THEN REPLACE TRANSMISSION THAN IT WILL BE THE GAS TANK WHAT IS NEXT? *TR
ON OCTOBER 20TH OF 2011 I WAS DRIVING ON THE RIGHT LANE OF TONELLE AVE, NORTH BERGEN, NJ AS I DECIDE TO PASS A BUS IN FRONT OF ME I WAS PROBABLY DOING 25 MPH AND PEAK THE SPEED TO 35 MPH AS I PASSED THE BUS, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME HARD TO MANEUVER ALMOST PULLING ME AGAINST THE TRAFFIC, THANKFULLY I WAS ABLE TO MANEUVER AND GET BACK IN TRACK OTHERWISE I WOULD CRASH AGAINST THE TRAFFIC, CURRENTLY I HAVE 88000 MILES ON MY CAR, AS OF TODAY THE STEERING WHEEL STILL HARD TO MANEUVER, AND I DON'T KNOW IF NISSAN WOULD BE ABLE TO REPAIR THIS ISSUE AT NO COST. *TR
GOING OVERBRIDGE OVERPASS STARTED SHAKING VIOLENTLY STARTING AT 40 MPH CAUSING ME TO SWERVE INTO NEXT LANE NISSAN CLAIMS ITS TRANS PROBLEM FROM RADIATOR BYPASS AND THAT ITS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE!!!!!! *TR
PATHFINDER STARTED HESITATING AT 40 MPH REGARDLESS OF CITY OR HIGHWAY DRIVING, HAD TRANSMISSION FLUID CHANGED AND WAS ADVISED BY MY MECHANIC THERE IS A LEAK FROM RADIATOR INTO TRANSMISSION LINE, HAVE SINCE THEN SEEN TRANSMISSION FLUID A MILKY COLOR AND I CANNOT DRIVE VEHICLE WITH OVERDRIVE ON, WHEN IT DROVE WITH OD ON AT ABOUT 40 MPH THERE IS NO SHIFTING OF GEARS. *TR
TRANSMISSION HAD BEGUN TO SLIP WHILE TRANSITIONING TO AND FROM GEARS(NO MATTER THE SPEED).WHEN PUTTING VEHICLE INTO GEAR THERE WOULD BE THIS HORRIBLE "JERK", AS IF THE TRANSMISSION OR ENGINE WERE ABOUT TO FALL OUT!!! VEHICLE WOULD NOT WARM UP WHILE IN PARK. ONCE THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF IT WOULD ONLY START BACK UP IF THE "ECU FUSE" WERE REPLACED. TOOK VEHICLE TO TRANSMISSION SPECIALIST AND HE STATED THAT THE RADIATOR HAD BEEN LEAKING INTO THE TRANSMISSION!! THIS ISSUE IS NOW SUBJECT TO ELECTRICAL ISSUES!!! HIS RECOMMENDATIONS, A NEW OR REBUILT TRANSMISSION. I HAVE READ REVIEWS WERE SOMEONE HAS EVEN HAD THEIR TRANSMISSIN REPLACED ONLY TO HAVE THE SAME ISSUES OR SIMILAR IN NATURE. NISSAN IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND IS NOT UTILIZING AN APPROPRIATE RECALL. *TR
I HAVEN'T FINISHED PAYING OFF MY CAR AND ALREADY THE TRANSMISSION OF MY NISSAN PATHFINDER 2007 XL IS FAILING. THE RADIATOR SPILLED THE COOLING LIQUID INTO THE TRANSMISSION, WHICH THEN PROCEEDED TO CAUSE SERIOUS PROBLEMS TO THE TRANSMISSION. THE GUARANTY EXPIRED AFTER 100 000 MILES, EVEN THOUGH PRIOR TO THAT THE MILEAGE THE GUARANTY STILL APPLIED. NOW, IN ORDER TO FIX THE TRANSMISSION, OR REPLACE IT FOR A NEW ONE, WILL COST ME OVER $5000USD. I'D LIKE TO UNITE TO THE EXISTING COMPLAINTS/LAWSUIT AGAINST NISSAN ON THE MATTER OF THE FAULTS FOUND IN THE 2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER, AS I FEEL THAT IS UNFAIR THAT THE COMPANY WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF FAULT IN ITS PRODUCT HAS NOT WARNED THE PUBLIC AND HAS PROCEEDED TO SELL THE PRODUCT TO THE PUBLIC, LEAVING US WITH A FAULTY MACHINE THAT IN THE END IS MORE EXPENSIVE, AND NOT A SATISFACTORY PRODUCT. I AM HOPEFUL THAT THE COMPANY WILL RESPONSE TO ALL OF OUR COMPLAINTS, STEPPING FORWARD AND TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE THEY HAVE CAUSED, AND HOPEFULLY TAKING OWNERSHIP OF THE EXPENSES THAT DUE TO THEIR LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY, HAVE BEEN INCURRED ON TO US, THE CONSUMERS. *TR
AS I WAS DRIVING MY 2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER (120,000 ,MILES) THROUGH A BUSY INTERSECTION, I LOST THE ABILITY TO ACCELERATE AT ALL. AFTER A VERY FRIGHTENING COUPLE OF MINUTES I WAS ABLE TO STEER THE VEHICLE THROUGH AND COAST DOWN A SMALL INCLINE TO A NEARBY PARKING LOT. AFTER THREEDAYS OUR LOCAL MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT HE WAS UNABLE TO FIX THE CAR, AS HE CONCLUDED THAT THE ECM HAD FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE LOCAL NISSAN DEALERSHIP, WHO AGREED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS THE ECM ($1014 REPAIR). AFTER THREE MORE DAYS, THEY'VE NOW TOLD US THAT THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE ECM, BUT THE FACT THAT THE RADIATOR FLUID HAS LEAKED INTO THE TRANSMISSION, DESTROYING IT. THEY ARE QUOTING A REPAIR COST OF $7500. I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT A VEHICLE FOR OVER A WEEK (RENTING A CAR BECAME COST PROHIBITIVE), AND NOW WILL SPEND THE MORNING TRYING TO FIND A MORE COST EFFECTIVE WAY TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED. I'VE LEARNED THAT THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE OF WHICH NISSAN IS COMPLETELY AWARE. THE COOLANT LEAK/TRANSMISSION FAILURE IS IN FACT A DESIGN DEFECT IN THE VEHICLE. IT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE THAT NISSAN HAS NOT RECALLED THESE VEHICLES, OR AT THE VERY LEAST MADE THE REPAIR FREE FOR CONSUMERS REGARDLESS OF VEHICLE MILEAGE. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER NISSAN AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHUTTER. A LOCAL MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT RADIATOR FLUID WAS LEAKING INTO THE TRANSMISSION. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER DENIED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH THE REPAIRS TO THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,400 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 83,600.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, I FELT MY TRANSMISSION SEEM TO SHIFT VERY ROUGHLY INTO OVERDRIVE, AND USUALLY OCCURRED BETWEEN 40 AND 50 MPH. OVER THE COURSE OF ABOUT A YEAR, IT CONTINUED THE BEHAVIOR OFF AND ON, UNTIL IT BEGAN TO DO IT DAILY AND I TOOK IT TO THE SHOP. IT WAS DIAGNOSED AS HAVING HAD ANTIFREEZE LEAK INTO THE TRANSMISSION DUE TO THE OIL COOLER LINES CRACKING, A COMMON PROBLEM WITH NISSAN PATHFINDERS, AND OTHER NISSAN VEHICLES OF MY MODEL YEAR. THERE WAS METAL IN THE TRANSMISSION PAN WHICH SIGNIFIES THAT A REBUILD IS INEVITABLE, ALL DUE TO THE MIXING OF ANTIFREEZE IN THE TRANSMISSION. THE RADIATOR MUST ALSO BE REPLACED DUE TO THE MIXING OF TRANSMISSION FLUID, AS THE MECHANICS FOUND THE "MILKY" SUBSTANCE, TYPICALLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE MIXING OF WATER AND TRANSMISSION FLUID IN THE RADIATOR. SO FAR, I HAVE BEEN QUOTED APPROXIMATELY 6,300 DOLLARS FOR A REPAIR JOB ON THIS VEHICLE. *TR
THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON AND FUEL GAUGE MARKS EMPTY AFTER I FILL UP VEHICLE WITH GAS. 2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER *TT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 40 MPH AND ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE BUT THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESPOND. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE THE CONTACT WAS ADVISE THAT A CROSS CONTAMINATION OF FLUIDS HAD OCCURRED IN THE VEHICLE AND THE TRANSMISSION WOULD NEED REPLACING. THE DEALER ALSO ADVISED THAT THE FAILURE WAS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE MAKE AND MODEL VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 80,200!!!!!
2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER. COOLER FOR TRANSMISSION FLUID RESIDES IN RADIATOR. RADIATOR CRACKS, ALLOWING ENGINE COOLANT INTO TRANSMISSION, DESTROYING TRANSMISSION. *KB
A HIGH PITCHED WHINING NOISE FROM UNDER THE HOOD ON A 2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER. TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP IN MODESTO CALIFORNIA AND MY WIFE WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD COST 1,300 TO REPLACE THE TIMING CHAIN TENSIONERS OR MORE IF THE TIMING CHAIN(S) WERE BAD. THE CAR HAS 71, 000 MILES AND I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. MY WIFE WAS TOLD THE CAR WAS SAFE TO DRIVE AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NO RISK OF FURTHER DAMAGE TO VEHICLE. I HAVE READ SEVERAL OTHER INSTANCES WHERE TIMING CHAIN COMPONENTS FAIL JUST BEYOND THE MANUFACTURE'S STATED WARRANTY. THE ISSUE HAS HAD A TSB SINCE JULY OF 2007 #07042A. I HAVE HAD ALL OF MY SERVICE DONE AT THIS DEALER AND I HAD NEVER BEEN ADVISED ABOUT THE TSB OR THE NOISE. THE TIMING CHAIN NOR THE TENSIONERS SHOULD NOT FAIL AT 70,000 MILES. I ALSO HAVE UNEVEN TIRE WEAR WITH NO ALIGNMENT ISSUES. VEHICLE=LEMON. *TR
2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER. FUEL GAUGE INACCURACY AND "SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT" REMAINS ON. DEALERS QUOTED US $500 PROBLEM NOT FIXED. *TR
WIFE FIRST NOTICED A VIBRATION ON HER WAY HOME FROM SCHOOL WITH OUR DAUGHTERS. BECAME PROGRESSIVELY WORSE OVER TIME. I HAD TIRES, BEARINGS, ETC CHECKED. NO PROBLEMS FOUND WITH ANY OF THOSE. LOOKED ONLINE AND DISCOVERED THAT A LOT OF PATHFINDER OWNERS WERE HAVING TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. CHECKED COOLANT AND FOUND THAT IT HAD IN FACT MIXED WITH TRANSMISSION FLUID. I SWITCHED THE LINES FROM THE TRANSMISSION TO TRANS COOLER AND RADIATOR TO PREVENT FURTHER CONTAMINATION, AND FLUSHED RADIATOR/REPLACED COOLANT. ALSO HAD TRANSMISSION FLUSHED/FLUID CHANGED. THE VIBRATION IS STILL PRESENT, AS I DON'T HAVE $5000 + FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION/RADIATOR. *TR

MY SON WAS ON HIS WAY TO SCHOOL WHEN I RECEIVED A CALL FROM HIM INFORMING ME THAT THE PATHFINDER WAS RUNNING HOT. I ADVISED HIM TO PULL OVER AND WAIT UNTIL I ARRIVE. WHEN I LET THE HOOD UP, I SAW FOAM-LIKE SUBSTANCES COMING FROM THE RADIATOR. I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A MECHANIC SHOP TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT. HE INFORMED ME THAT THE RADIATOR HAD BURST AND LEAKED INTO THE TRANSMISSION. HE CHANGED THE RADIATOR AND INFORMED ME THAT THE TRANSMISSION WOULD STOP WORKING SOON. SINCE THAN, I HAVE CHANGED THE FLUID 3 TIMES @ $60.00 EACH TIME AND THE FLUID IS STILL PINKISH. NOW MY TRANSMISSION VIBRATES BETWEEN 40 AND 50 MPH *KB

THE DEALER ALSO ADVISED THAT THE FAILURE WAS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE MAKE AND MODEL VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 85,131.
A VIBRATION OCCURS AT ABOUT 1500 RPM. AT THE TIME MY CAR HAD ABOUT 24000 MILES ON IT. I TOOK THE CAR TO A TRANSMISSION SHOP AND THEY TOLD ME MY TORQUE CONVERTER WAS GOING OUT. I TOOK THE CAR TO A NISSAN DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG BUT THAT THEY COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHAT IT WAS AND THEREFORE IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY. IT IS NOW 54000 MILES AND THE CAR WOULD NOT GO INTO REVERSE VERY EASILY. I AGAIN TOOK IT TO A TRANSMISSION SHOP AND THEY TOLD ME THE TRANSMISSION OIL WAS AS BLACK AS MOTOR OIL. THEY SAID THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I THEN TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND, SAME STORY, THEY SAID IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BUT IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY BY THREE MONTHS. THEY AGAIN SAID THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE TRANSMISSION BUT THEY COULD NOT DETERMINE WHAT IT WAS. EVEN THOUGH I MADE THE COMPLAINT ALMOST TWO YEARS AGO, THEY TOLD ME IT WAS NOT COVERED BY THE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY AS THE VEHICLE IS NOW OUT OF WARRANTY. THERE IS QUITE A LITANY OF COMPLAINTS ON THE INTERNET ABOUT TRANSMISSION FAILURES FROM NISSAN PRODUCTS. I AM OBVIOUSLY QUITE UPSET AND DISSATISFIED. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER NISSAN PRODUCT. *TR
RECEIVED WARRANTY EXTENSION ON MY 2007 PATHFINDER RADIATOR TO 80,000. RADIATOR HAS FAULTY TRANSMISSION COOLER INSIDE WHICH LEAKS INTO TRANSMISSION CAUSING TRANSMISSION FAILURE. WHY NOT A RECALL. CALLED NISSAN CORPORATE AND THEY SAID THEY WILL ONLY FIX THE KNOWN DEFECT AFTER THE FAILURE WHICH OF COURSE LEAVES YOU STRANDED SOMEWHERE. THIS MAKES THE VEHICLE AN UNRELIABLE MODE OF TRANSPORTATION, ESPECIALLY ON LONG TRIPS. VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THIS VEHICLE DUE TO TRANSMISSION COOLER DEFECTS, TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER DEFECT, AND THE FUEL GAUGE INOP DEFECT. THESE ARE ALL MAJOR DEFECTS IN WHICH NISSAN GOT OFF EASY BY WARRANTY EXTENSIONS AND NOT PREVENTATIVE REPAIRS OF KNOWN DEFECTS. *TR
FUEL SENDING UNIT BAD TROUBLE CODE 0463. FILLED GAS TANK AT 1/4 TO FULL. STARTED CAR GAUGE READ A LITTLE ABOVE 1/4 TANK OF GAS. GAUGE WENT UP SLOWLY TO ABOUT 1/2 THEN SUDDENLY DROPPED TO 0(EMPTY). *TR
2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER RADIATOR DEFECT CAUSING LEAK OF COOLANT INTO TRANSMISSION FLUID AND RESULTING IN TRANSMISSION/RADIATOR COMPLETE DAMAGE, UNDETECTED BY DEALER SERVICE FOR 30,000 MILES. PROBLEM DETECTED WITH OPENING OF INVESTIGATION. NISSAN REQUIRES CO-PAY OF $2,500 EVEN THOUGH COMPLAINTS OCCURRED PREVIOUS TO 80K MILES AND WHEN PROBLEM DETECTED, WAS 414 MILES OVER REQUIRING A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR A KNOWN DEFECT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT WAS SECURING THE SEAT BELT OF THE BACK PASSENGER SIDE WHEN THE BOLT THAT HELD THE SEAT BELT CAME OFF. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN INSPECTED OR REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION BEGAN TO JERK WITH HESITATION. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A TRANSMISSION SHOP FOR DIAGNOSIS, WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT RADIATOR FLUID LEAKED INTO THE TRANSMISSION WHICH CONTRIBUTED TO THE FAILURE. ALSO, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER, WHERE THEY INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE TRANSMISSION WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN PATHFINDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A CRACK DEVELOPED IN THE WINDSHIELD WITHOUT ANYTHING HITTING THE WINDSHIELD. THE DEALER STATED THAT A PEBBLE HIT THE WINDSHIELD. THE CONTACT CALLED THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND AGENT CONFIRMED THAT NOTHING HIT THE WINDSHIELD TO CAUSE THE CRACK IN THE WINDSHIELD. THE INSURANCE AGENT CONFIRMED THAT THERE WAS A DEFECT IN THE WINDSHIELD. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WITH THE INFORMATION REGARDING THE DEFECT AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT THE WINDSHIELD COULD EXPLODE WHILE DRIVING CAUSING SERIOUS INJURIES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,000.

RADIATOR RECALL FOR TRANS LINES LEAKING INTO RADIATOR CONTAMINATING COOLANT. AND NOW THE TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER IS CAUSING A LOUD KNOCK IN THE ENGINE FROM THE TIMING CHAIN.
THE FUEL GAUGE STOPPED WORKING A WHILE AGO, AND THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYED ON. THE GAUGE WOULD SHOW 1/4 TANK FUEL AFTER FILLING THE TANK UP, THEN WORK NORMAL, THEN DROP TO EMPTY, EVEN THOUGH THE TANK WAS AT LEAST 1/2 FULL. I WOULD KEEP TRACK OF HOW MANY MILES I DROVE AND FILL UP THE TANK EVERY 300 MILES. THAT'S HOW I KNEW IT WAS TIME TO GET GAS AGAIN... TODAY I FOUND OUT THAT PROBLEM IS NOT ONLY A NUISANCE FOR ME, BUT IT IS ALSO CONNECTED TO OUR STATE EMISSION INSPECTION. WHEN I HAD THE INSPECTION DONE TODAY, ID DID NOT PASS THE "ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBDII) TEST, WHICH IS ONE OF THE STATE REQUIREMENTS. RESULTING FAILURE CODE FOR THE OBDII TEST WAS P0463-FUEL LEVEL SENSOR "A" CIRCUIT HIGH. MY UNDERSTANDING IS THIS VERY SAME/SIMILAR DEFECT AFFECTED MANY OF 2006 AND 2008 PATHFINDERS, AND RESULTED IN A RECALL OF THOSE VEHICLES. BASED ON THE MANY COMPLAINS ON THIS SITE, IT IS EVIDENT IT AFFECTS MANY 2007 PATHFINDERS AS WELL. SINCE IT DOES AFFECT EMISSION REQUIREMENTS, PLEASE FURTHER INVESTIGATE SO THE PROBLEM CAN BE FIXED. *TR

THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO RECUR INTERMITTENTLY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,100 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60,500.
