THE CONTACT STATED PARKED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. THE CONTACT STATED HE AND 3 OTHER BYSTANDERS PUSHED THE VEHICLE TO A NEARBY INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC INFORMED HIM THAT THE REAR WHEEL WHEEL-BEARINGS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 126,500.
REAR AXLE SEAL LEAKS IN THIS MODEL IT IS A KNOWN PROBLEM YET NISSAN STILL CHOOSES TO DO NOTHING ABOUT IT ,IT IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE IT LEAKS FLUID CONTINUOUSLY ON TO THE BACK BREAKING SYSTEM SO NOT ONLY COULD IT COMPRISE YOUR WHOLE BACK END BUT ALSO YOUR ABILITY TO STOP YOUR VEHICLE SAFELY,THIS HAS BEEN REPORTED THOUSANDS OF TIMES TO YOUR AGENCY IN THE MEANTIME THE CONSUMERS CONTINUE TO REPLACE THESE EVERY 30-40,000 MILES JUST TO MAINTAIN THEIR SAFETY AND OTHERS ON THE ROAD WHEN I FEEL IT IS TIME NISSAN ADDRESS THIS AND TAKE THE NECESSARY STEPS TO ENSURE THE BRAKING SYSTEM IN THESE VEHICLES IS NOT CREATING A POTENTIAL HAZARD TOP THE DRIVER OR OTHERS ON THE ROAD . I TOOK MY VEHICLE IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE YESTERDAY ONLY TO FIND OUT MY SEAL IS LEAKING AGAIN AND NOW MY BACK BRAKES NEED TO BE REPLACED AGAIN BECAUSE THEY ARE NO LONGER SAFE DUE TO THE OIL LEAKING ON THEM AGAIN FROM THIS SEAL I DRIVE MY CHILDREN IN THIS VEHICLE DAILY TO SCHOOL TO GAMES AND IM THANKFUL THAT I HAPPENED TO NEED AN OIL CHANGE OR I WOULD HAVE HAD NO IDEA IT WAS LEAKING AGAIN OR JUST HOW UNSAFE MY DRIVING THIS VEHICLE COULD POTENTIALLY BE FOR MY CHILDREN AND MYSELF OR ANYBODY THAT IS DRIVING NEAR ME WHEN IT REQUIRES BRAKING TO STOP .

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR LEAF SPRING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. NO REPAIRS WERE MADE TO THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 28,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE THEY STATED THAT THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
HI, I HAVE A 2005 NISSAN TITAN AND THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD HAS CRACKED IN THE SAME SPOT TWICE NOW AND IT IS BEFORE THE CAT SO THAT MEANS ITS NOW A GROSS POLLUTER. THE PROBLEM IS YOU GET IT FIXED AND THEY PUT THE SAME PART BACK ON THAT CRACKS AGAIN BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T CHANGED THE DESIGN. THERE ARE 3 OTHER TITANS IN MY TOWN AND ALL OF US HAVE THE SAME STORY. ALSO THE SWAY BAR MOUNT ON ALL OF OURS ARE BROKE WITCH RESULTS IN VERY POOR HANDLING. I HOPE IT CAN BE RECALLED BEFORE SOMETHING SERIOUS HAPPENS. THANK YOU.
WHEN I STEPPED ON THE BRAKES TO START STOPPING, IT DIDN'T FEEL LIKE IT WAS GRABBING AND I REALLY HAD TO STAND ON THE PEDAL TO STOP BEFORE I HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. WHEN I GOT HOME, I LOOKED AT ALL MY BRAKES AND FOUND THAT THE REAR AXLE SEAL ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE WAS LEAKING. GREASE/OIL WAS ALL OVER THE REAR BRAKES. I HAVE HAD THE SEAL REPLACED 3 TIMES NOW. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND IS A SAFETY HAZARD. THE DEALER WANTS $1800 TO DO IT AGAIN!! WE NEED A RECALL. *TR

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THAT THE DRIVE KNUCKLE THAT WAS WITHIN THE DIFFERENTIAL HAD FAILED. THE DEALER ALSO STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT REPLACE PARTS ON THE DIFFERENTIAL AND THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO PURCHASE AN ENTIRE REAR END FOR THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 128,000.
A-ARM BROKE TIRE RIPPED IN TO SIDE OF TRUCK
FRONT DIFFERENTIAL STARTED MAKING NOISE, WHEN MECHANICS OPENED IT, THEY SAID IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO REBUILD AND I NEED A BRAND NEW ASSEMBLY. (TOO MUCH INTERNAL DAMAGE.) FOR THE MILEAGE THIS TRUCK HAS, THIS PART FAILED WAY TO EARLY. MECHANIC SAID IT HAPPENED BECAUSE OF ITS POOR DESIGN. NOW TRUCK HAS 60,000 MILES AND REAR DIFFERENTIAL STARTED TO LEAK. *TR

MY REAR LEAF SPRING SHACKLE SNAPPED PUNCHING A HOLE THOUGH THE TRUCK BED OPENING IT UP LIKE A TUNA CAN WHILE I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY AND NEARLY LOST CONTROL IN A CONSTRUCTION ZONE WHERE THERE WERE QUITE A FEW PEOPLE WORKING ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. DID SOME INVESTIGATING AND IT SEEMS LIKE A PRETTY COMMON PROBLEM FOR THE 04-07 TITANS AND AM WONDERING WHY I (OR THE THOUSANDS OF OTHERS WHO'VE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM) WERE NOT INFORMED ABOUT THIS FROM THE FINE FOLKS AT NISSAN BEFORE PEOPLE GET KILLED. THIS VEHICLE HAS MORE COMMON FAILURES THAN ANY I HAVE SEEN. BOTH OF THE REAR LEAF SPRING SHACKLES ROTTED OUT. THE REAR AXLE SEALS ARE NOW LEAKING. IN 6 MONTHS I HAVE REPLACED 2 OXYGEN SENSORS AND NOW FOR THE 2ND TIME I AM REPLACING THE EVAP CANISTER CONTROL VALVE. NISSAN SEEMS TO IGNORE ALL OF THESE ISSUES AND HAS REDESIGNED MANY OF THESE PROBLEM AREAS IN NEWER MODELS HOWEVER DOES NOT OWN UP TO FIXING THE ISSUES ON VEHICLES THAT ARE ON THE ROAD. *TR
LOWERED TAIL GATE TO LOAD AND NOTICED A LARGE BUMP IN THE BED LINER. UPON INSPECTION I FOUND THE LEAF SPRING SHACKLE HAD BROKEN AND THE SPRING HAD GONE THRU THE BED OF THE TRUCK. *TR

I HAVE A 2005 NISSAN TITAN WITH ONLY 44000 MILES ON IT. DURING RECENT DRIVING IT SOUNDED AS IF THE RIGHT REAR WAS GRINDING TO PIECES. IT CONTINUALLY GOT WORSE SO I LOOKED UNDER THE TRUCK TO SEE IF THERE WAS SOMETHING THAT WAS CAUGHT AND DRAGGING. IT WAS SO LOUD THAT PEOPLE WOULD STARE AT THE TRUCK WHEN IT PASSED BY. AFTER IT WAS TAKEN TO THE GARAGE THEY DISCOVERED THAT THE INSIDES OF THE RIGHT REAR AXLE WERE ALMOST COMPLETELY TORN APART. IT WAS VERY FORTUNATE THAT IT DID NOT CAUSE A SERIOUS PROBLEM WHILE DRIVING. THEY ALSO FOUND THAT THE LEFT AXLE WAS LEAKING AND WOULD LIKELY ALSO BREAK DOWN. THE COST TO REPAIR THE TRUCK WAS OVER $1700.00. *TR
