IT LOSSES POWER THE EXHAUST FILTER IS FULL EVEN WHEN IT WAS JUST CHANGED IT IS A 2016 ECO DIESEL DODGE RAM 1500
I PUT MY TRUCK IN PARK. IT WAS DARK OUT. I STEPPED OUT OF MY VEHICLE ONTO THE HIGHWAY TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE MOON. AS MY FEET HIT THE PAVEMENT THE TRUCK BEGIN TO ROLL IN REVERSE. I WAS HIT BY THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR AND THROWN TO THE GROUND. I ROLLED AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE BEFORE BEING RUN OVER BY THE TIRE. THE TRUCK CONTINUED TO GO IN REVERSE AND I CHASED AFTER THE VEHICLE PURE ADRENALINE WAS ALL THAT KEPT ME GOING. I THEN ATTEMPTED TO JUMP INTO THE MOVING VEHICLE. I WAS DRAGGED A SHORT DISTANCE BEFORE PULLING MYSELF INTO THE TRUCK CAB. I APPLIED THE BRAKE BRINGING THE TRUCK TO A STOP. I LOOKED AT THE DIAL SHIFTER AND IT STILL SAID IT WAS IN PARK. I SUFFERED BRUISING AND A DECENT SIZED CONTUSION TO MY RIGHT LEG AND SOME BRUISED RIBS. I AM VERY FORTUNATE TO BE AGILE ENOUGH TO HAVE ESCAPED WORSE INJURIES.
PARKED VEHICLE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. IT WAS A FLAT SURFACE. I WAS STANDING IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE WHEN IT STARTED MOVING FORWARD ON ITS OWN. I HAD TO GET OUT OF THE WAY AND CHASE DOWN MY TRUCK TO STOP IT. I ALERTED THE DEALERSHIP, AND THEY SAID THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. *TR
DODGE RAM 1500 WAS DESIGNED WITH THE REAR BRAKE LINE WHICH IS POSITIONED SUCH THAT THE REAR BRAKE LINE WILL BE CUT IF CHAINS OR SNOW CABLES ARE INSTALLED ON THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER STATED THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE; HOWEVER, THERE IS NO FIX. THE ARE REFUSING TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE MAKING IT UNSAFE TO USE IN AREAS WHERE IT COULD SNOW.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. WHILE PARKED OUTSIDE THE HOUSE, THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FLAMES. A REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT YET BEEN TOWED TO THE JUNK YARD. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND A CLAIM WAS FILED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN. LOCATION - FAIRBANKS, ALASKA. TIME - 5PM ON 11/25/2016 THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN 50 FT AROUND THE CORNER OF THE BUILDING INTO A PARKING LOT ON FLAT GROUND, BROUGHT TO A COMPLETE STOP POINTED IN THE DIRECTION OF A SLIGHT INCLINE, THE DIAL SHIFTER WAS THEN TURNED TO THE LEFT TO SELECT PARK AT WHICH TIME THE DRIVER EXITED THE VEHICLE. IMMEDIATELY AFTER STEPPING OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND BEFORE THE DRIVER COULD EVEN CLOSE THE DOOR THE VEHICLE STARTED TO CREEP FORWARD. DUE TO THE SLICK CONDITIONS IN THE PARKING LOT THE DRIVER WAS UNABLE TO CATCH UP WITH THE VEHICLE RIGHT AWAY. AS A RESULT THE VEHICLE TRAVELED APPROXIMATELY 10 FT BEFORE MAKING CONTACT WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE IN THE PARKING LOT AS THE DRIVER REENTERED THE VEHICLE AND BROUGHT IT TO A STOP AGAIN. NO ONE WAS HURT AND ONLY MINOR COSMETIC DAMAGE WAS CAUSED TO THE TWO VEHICLES. FURTHER INSPECTION OF THE RAM 1500 BY THE DEALER SHOWED ICE BUILDUP AROUND THE PARK RELEASE PREVENTING IT FROM WORKING PROPERLY.
SHIFTER COMIN OUT OF PARK CAUSING EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO VEHICLE AND MY GARAGE PLUS BODILY INJURY
THE SYNC 3/AUDIO/NAV SYSTEM, ONCE AGAIN QUIT FUNCTIONING. I BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. FROM MY PERSPECTIVE IF I OR ESPECIALLY MY WIFE IS DRIVING THIS VEHICLE IN AN AREA WE ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH, OR LATE AT NIGHT OR COME UP ON AN ACCIDENT OR OTHER UNSAFE SITUATION AND ARE UNABLE TO CALL 911 OR FOR OTHER ASSISTANCE OR UNABLE TO NAVIGATE THROUGH THE AREA WE ARE UNFAMILIAR WITH, OUR LIVES AS WELL AS OTHERS WOULD BE AT RISK. THIS HAS OCCURRED APPROXIMATELY TEN TIMES SINCE PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE IN NOVEMBER 2016. AS OF TODAY 19 JULY 2017 THIS VEHICLE IS AT SALLISAW FORD, LOCATED IN SALLISAW, OK WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED - FOR THE THIRD TIME, FOR THIS PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM OCCURS SPORADICALLY, CAN OCCUR WHILE IN USE OR AFTER TURNING SYNC SYSTEM ON OR OFF.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, A VIBRATION EMERGED UNDER THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND THE DRIVESHAFT WAS REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TWO OTHER TIMES FOR THE SAME FAILURE. THE FIRST TIME, THE DEALER BALANCED THE WHEELS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,100.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE VIBRATED ABNORMALLY. THE CONTACT NOTICED AN ABNORMAL ODOR DUE TO THE BRAKING SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ON FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TIRES NEEDED TO BE BALANCED AND THE BRAKE ROTORS SHOWED EXCESSIVE WEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 250.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE GEAR SHIFTED TO REVERSE INDEPENDENTLY CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO CRASH INTO THE WALL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS NO OCCUPANT IN THE VEHICLE AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE FAILURE WAS UNDETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
HAD JUST BACKED VEHICLE OUT FROM UNDERNEATH CARPORT AT MY HOME, LEFT IN DRIVEWAY, TURNED OFF IGNITION (IT WAS STATIONARY), AND WENT INSIDE MY HOME. A FEW MINUTES LATER, THE VEHICLE STARTED EXPLODING AND CAUGHT FIRE. THE VEHICLE BURNT UP COMPLETELY, IT IS A TOTAL LOSS!!!

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, IT INDEPENDENTLY ROLLED BACK IN REVERSE. AS A RESULT, THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE CONTACT AND THEN A WALL. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED CUTS AND BRUISES ON THE KNEES, FEET, AND HIPS. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS RECEIVED. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED AND REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 2,500.
WHEN REMOVING FOOT FROM ACCELERATOR, VEHICLE STAYS AT 1450 RPMS, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO GO 10-15 MILES PER HOUR. IT IS UNSAFE FOR MY WIFE OR DAUGHTER TO DRIVE. AFTER TWO SERVICE VISITS, I AM TOLD THAT IT IS NORMAL. IT DID NOT DO THIS PROBLEM DURING FIRST 1500 MILES.
2016 DODGE RAM 1500. ATTORNEY REPRESENTING CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE FIRE AFTER SERVICE CENTER WORKED ON THE ENGINE NOISES. DEALERSHIP REFUSES TO COVER ADDITIONAL REPAIRS. CONSUMER SEEKS REIMBURSEMENT FOR OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES. *SMD ALSO, THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT WAS ON. *JB
OUR COMPANY LEASED THIS VEHICLE FROM MID COUNTY CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM ON 12/16/2015 AS PART OF AN EIGHT VEHICLE FLEET. ON 10/5/2016, THE VEHICLE OPERATOR PLACED THE VEHICLE IN PARK AND EXITED THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ROLL FORWARDS WITHOUT A DRIVER IN THE VEHICLE. TWO OF OUR CLIENT'S EMPLOYEES NOTICED THE VEHICLE MOVING AND WERE ABLE TO JUMP IN TO THE VEHICLE TO STOP IT. WHEN ONE OF OUR CLIENT'S EMPLOYEES ATTEMPTED TO PLACE THE VEHICLE IN PARK, HE NOTICED THAT THE TRANSMISSION INDICATOR WAS ALREADY IN A PARKED POSITION. HE THEN APPLIED THE EMERGENCY BREAK. WITHOUT THE INTERVENTION OF OUR CLIENT'S EMPLOYEES, THE VEHICLE WOULD HAVE CRASHED IN TO A HIGH-TRAFFIC EXTERIOR STAIRWELL ON OUR CLIENT'S PROPERTY. A COMPREHENSIVE INCIDENT REPORT IS ATTACHED TO THIS COMPLAINT. FOR PRIVACY PURPOSES, WE HAVE REDACTED INFORMATION DIRECTLY PERTAINING TO OUR CLIENT. OUR CLIENT' S EMPLOYEES ARE REFERRED TO BY THEIR LAST NAMES ONLY. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE AND TOWED TO MID COUNTY CHRYSLER FOR REPAIRS. WHILE THIS IS THE ONLY TIME THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD A TRANSMISSION ISSUE, ANOTHER 2016 RAM 1500 HAD A SIMILAR TRANSMISSION MALFUNCTION ON 8/22/2016. THIS SEEMS TO BE A CONSISTENT MALFUNCTION IN THIS MODEL.

THE CONTACT'S BODY STRUCK THE STEERING WHEEL. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE HANDS AND HEAD. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS RECEIVED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE AND PARKED AFTER THE CRASH. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,000.

THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE ISSUE WAS DUE TO A MANUFACTURER DESIGN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,000.
HAS SHIFTED TO SOON SINCE I BOUGHT IT NEW WITH 7 MILES ON IT . I HAVE TO SHIFT IT TO 8 TH GEAR UNLESS I'M ON THE HIGH WAY.
MY TRUCK HAS A NOTICABLE VIBRATION AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS OF 60 MPH AND ABOVE. AFTER 3-4 TRIPS TO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS, THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. AFTER A QUICK SEARCH ONLINE, I REALIZED THAT THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN POSTED ON BLOGS RELATED TO THIS SAME PROBLEM WITH NO SOLUTION FROM CHRYSLER/RAM. I HAVE HAD THE TIRES BALANCED/ROTATED/ROAD FORCED BALANCE, ETC. FRONT DRIVE SHAFTS REPLACED (IT'S A 4X4 MODEL) AND STILL THE SAME RESULT ... VIBRATION AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. I'M NOT SURE HOW MANY COMPLAINTS ARE BEING FILED WITH THE NHTSA, BUT AFTER READING NUMEROUS BLOGS, I WOULD EXPECT THAT FCA WOULD ADDRESS THIS ISSUE WITH A RECALL.

DRIVING ON PAVEMENT THE AMBIENT TEMP WAS ABOUT 70 DEGREES WITH NO ROAD HAZARDS THE FRONT TIRE EXPLODED STRAIGHT ACROSS THE TREAD. A PIECE OF THE TREAD HIT THE INNER FENDER AND DAMAGED BOTH THE LINER AND THE OUTER FENDER. THE TIRE IS A GOODYEAR WRANGLER THAT CAME STOCK ON THE TRUCK 275/60 R20 DOT # M6YNJB1R2915. THE TIRES HAVE ONLY 3200 MILES ON THIS 2016 TRUCK. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED WITH NO RESULTS AT THIS TIME.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WITH THE SHIFT SELECTOR IN THE PARK POSITION, THE CONTACT EXITED THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT THEN NOTICED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS ROLLING BACKWARDS INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO RE-ENTER THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT WAS DRAGGED DOWN A HILL. THE VEHICLE CRASHED THROUGH TWO TREES, A SWING SET, AND ALSO A PROPANE TANK. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED SEVERAL FRACTURED RIBS, FRACTURED STERNUM, BRUISED LUNGS, FRACTURED RIGHT SHOULDER, TORN MUSCLES, ELBOW CONTUSION, AND MULTIPLE LACERATIONS WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT FACILITY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,621. UPDATED 03/01/17 *BF *CN

IN ADDITION, THE GEAR SHIFTER DID NOT REGISTER THE VEHICLE IN THE CORRECT GEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE REPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 5,000.
OUR COMPANY LEASED THIS VEHICLE FROM MID COUNTY CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM ON 12/16/15 AS PART OF AN EIGHT VEHICLE FLEET. ON 8/22/2016, THE VEHICLE OPERATOR FOUND THAT THE BATTERY WAS MALFUNCTIONING. ADDITIONALLY, THE TRANSMISSION WAS SLIPPING FROM 1ST TO 2ND. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE MID COUNTY DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS. MECHANICS FOUND THAT THE BATTERY HAD FAILED AND REPLACED IT. THE MECHANICS ALSO FOUND DEFECTS IN THE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, BUT WERE UNABLE TO REPAIR IT. THE MECHANICS THEN PROCEEDED TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE WAS RELEASED TO US ON 9/7/2016. WHILE THIS IS A SINGLE INCIDENT FOR THIS VEHICLE, IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT OUR FLEET CONSISTS ENTIRELY OF RAM 1500, WITH SEVEN BEING 2016 MODELS AND ONE 2015 MODEL. BATTERY FAILURE AND TRANSMISSION FAILURE HAS BEEN PERVASIVE THROUGHOUT OUR ENTIRE FLEET.

OUR COMPANY LEASED THIS VEHICLE FROM MID COUNTY CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM ON 12/16/2015 AS A PART OF AN EIGHT VEHICLE FLEET. ON 8/18/2016, THE VEHICLE OPERATOR REPORTED THAT THE ENGINE WOULD NOT CRANK AND NEEDED JUMPER CABLES TO START. THE VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT TO MID COUNTY CHRYSLER FOR REPAIRS. THE MECHANICS DIAGNOSED A FAILED BATTERY AND REPLACED IT. THE VEHICLE WAS RELEASED TO US ON 8/26/2016. WHILE THIS IS THE ONLY INCIDENT ON RECORD FOR THIS VEHICLE, IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT OUR FLEET CONSISTS SOLELY OF RAM 1500S, WITH SEVEN OF THEM BEING 2016 MODELS AND ONE 2015 MODEL. BATTERY AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAILURES HAVE BEEN PERVASIVE THROUGHOUT OUR ENTIRE FLEET.

MECHANICS TESTED THE VEHICLE AND FOUND THAT THE BATTERY WAS DEAD AND REPLACED IT. THE VEHICLE WAS RELEASED TO US ON 8/26/2016. WHILE THIS IS THE ONLY INCIDENT ON RECORD FOR THIS VEHICLE, IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT OUR FLEET CONSISTS ENTIRELY OF RAM 1500, WITH SEVEN BEING THE 2016 MODEL AND ONE 2015 MODEL. BATTERY AND ELECTRIC FAILURE HAS BEEN PERVASIVE THROUGHOUT OUR ENTIRE FLEET.
THE TRANSMISSION KNOB SHIFTED FROM PARK (P) TO DRIVE (D) WHILE THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING AND NOBODY WAS IN THE TRUCK. THE TRUCK MOVED FORWARD INCLUDING TOWING A RV TRAILER AND DROVE ACROSS THE ROAD SMASHING INTO A TENT TRAILER. THE TRUCK HAD DRIVEN 500 MILES NON STOP THAT DAY.
WHILE TRAVELING ON I-5 SOUTH AT APPROX. 65 MPH, USING THE CRUISE CONTROL, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY SPED UP AND THE DRIVER WAS UNABLE TO DECREASE THE SPEED OF THE VEHICLE CAUSING THE DRIVER TO VEER WEST OFF INTO THE DIRT SHOULDER STRIKING THE DIRT EMBANKMENT AND WOOD FENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ON THREE OCCASIONS TO BE DIAGNOSED; HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE OR RETRIEVE A FAULT CODE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,629.

TRANSMISSION WAS REPAIRED FOR A LEAK AT THE TRANSFER TUBES BETWEEN HEAT EXCHANGER AND TRANSMISSION CASE 09/25/2016. TRUCK WENT IN FOR SERVICE 14,381 AND AGAIN TRANSMISSION LEAK NEEDED TO BE FIXED. TRANSMISSION PAN GASKET DRAIN PLUG AND FLUID REPLACED 02/01/17. TRUCK IN NOW AT 16,235 05/31/2017 AND IS GOING IN AGAIN FOR A TRANSMISSION LEAK.
ON JULY 29, 2016, I BACKED THE TRUCK OUT OF THE GARAGE AND PLACED THE ROTARY SHIFT KNOB IN PARK. I STEPPED OUT OF THE VEHICLE WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING TO GRAB SOMETHING OUT OF THE GARAGE. ON 8/2/2016, THE VEHICLE ONCE AGAIN FAILED TO START AND WARNING LIGHTS WERE ENGAGED ON THE INDICATOR PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS AGAIN TOWED TO THE BAYSIDE DEALERSHIP. MECHANICS FOUND THAT THE BATTERY HAD FAILED AND REPLACED IT. THE VEHICLE WAS RELEASED TO US ON 8/5/2016. ON 10/1/2016, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START FOR A THIRD TIME. WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT THE HEADLIGHTS FLICKER. DOES IT IN LOW BEAM AND HIGH BEAM. HAS DONE IT WITH AC ON AND OFF. HAS DONE THIS WITH HEAT ON AND OFF. I AM CONCERNED THAT WITH THE ISSUE THE HEADLIGHTS WILL GO COMPLETELY OUT WHILE DRIVING. THIS CAN CAUSE A LIFE AND DEATH ISSUE. IT DOES IT AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS AS WELL AS CITY SPEED. THE MECHANICS REPLACED THE BATTERY AND RELEASED THE VEHICLE TO US THE SAME DAY. ON 8/4/2016, THE ENGINE ONCE AGAIN FAILED TO START. THE VEHICLE WAS AGAIN TOWED TO THE BAYSIDE DEALERSHIP, WHERE MECHANICS AGAIN FOUND INTERNAL FAILURE AND ONCE AGAIN REPLACED THE BATTERY. THE VEHICLE WAS RELEASED TO US ON 8/5/2016. ON 9/13/2016, THE VEHICLE ONCE AGAIN FAILED TO START AND WAS TOWED TO THE BAYSIDE DEALERSHIP. MECHANICS FOUND THAT THE BATTERY WAS DEAD AND THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WAS MALFUNCTIONING. THE BATTERY WAS AGAIN REPLACED AND A ROAD TEST WAS PERFORMED. THE VEHICLE WAS RELEASED TO US ON 9/20/2016.

THE IGNITION SWITCH IS IN A POSITION WHERE IT CAN BE BUMPED BY THE DRIVERS KNEE. I WAS DRIVING THE TRUCK, BUMPED THE KEY FOB WITH MY KNEE, AND THE TRUCK DIED. I WAS TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEED AT NIGHT, AND THE TRUCK COMPLETELY SHUT OFF. THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM.

WHEN THE VEHICLE IS WARM, AFTER ABOUT 1/2 HOUR OF DRIVING, THE TRANSMISSION STARTS TO DRIVE ROUGH. WHEN I COME TO A STOP IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE HITS ME FROM THE REAR. IT'S SCARY MY WIFE GETS NERVOUS WHEN SHE'S DRIVING. THE LONGER YOU DRIVE IT THE WORSE IT GETS. I HAVE 9,500 MILES ON IT. AFTER DRIVING IT ON THE HIGHWAY AND YOU EXIT TO THE STREETS THE GAS PEDAL HAS A LOT OF PLAY IN IT-ABOUT 1.5 INCHES FROM WHEN YOU PRESS ON THE PEDAL TO WHEN IT KICKS IN AND THEN THE RESPONSE IS A BIT JERKY. I BROUGHT TO THE DEALERSHIP ON 9/26/2016 AND THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T REPLICATE THE ISSUE. I EXPLAINED THAT THEY NEEDED TO DRIVE THE TRUCK FOR A WHILE. WHEN THE TRUCK IS COLD IT'S OK, NO ISSUES. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT KNOB HAS FAILED TO KEEP VEHICLE IN PARK ON AT LEAST TWO OCCASIONS. IN ADDITION, IT IS PLACED TOO CLOSE TO THE A/C FAN CONTROL KNOB. ON THE FIRST OCCASION, I PLACED THE VEHICLE IN PARK FROM DRIVE, AND AS I REMOVED MY FOOT FROM THE BRAKE AFTER IT WAS IN PARK, THE TRANSMISSION MOVED BACK TO DRIVE. LUCKILY, MY FOOT WAS STILL HOVERING OVER THE BRAKE AND I WAS ABLE TO STOP THE TRUCK. ON THE SECOND OCCASION, AS I WAS PLACING THE TRANSMISSION INTO PARK FROM DRIVE, I PLACED IT INTO PARK, HEARD THE TRANSMISSION DISENGAGE, AND SIMULTANEOUSLY REMOVED MY FOOT FROM THE BRAKE. AGAIN, IT JUMPED BACK INTO DRIVE, BUT MY FOOT WAS STILL ON THE BRAKE AND I WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE. ONE THING TO ADD CONCERNING THE PLACEMENT AS TOO CLOSE TO THE A/C FAN CONTROL, I ACTUALLY REACHED OVER AS TURNING TO OPEN MY DOOR AND TURNED THE A/C FAN TO THE LEFT (OFF) WHICH IS THE SAME DIRECTION AS PLACING THE TRANSMISSION INTO PARK FROM DRIVE. IT DIDN'T FEEL RIGHT AND I LOOKED AND REALIZED I WAS CONTROLLING THE A/C.
