TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 TOYOTA SOLARA. THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD, WHINING NOISE WHEN SHE TURNED THE STEERING WHEEL. THE STEERING WHEEL WAS REPLACED TWICE WITHIN AN EIGHT-MONTH PERIOD. THE DEALER STATED THAT HER TYPE OF VEHICLE HAD A REPUTATION FOR THIS FAILURE; HOWEVER, IT COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 10,500 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 6,000. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, WHILE ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE FROM A STOP, THE ENGINE HESITATED SEVERELY. ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION ATTEMPTS TO CROSS AT A CROSSROADS OR ENTER A FREEWAY WITH PLENTY OF TIME BEFORE TRAFFIC ARRIVED RESULTED IN SEVERAL NEAR MISSES WITH OTHER CARS. THE FAILURE OF THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE PROPERLY COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT TO OCCUR. WE HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO GREENVILLE TOYOTA IN GREENVILLE NC, AND THEY SAID IT WAS A CHIP IN THE COMPUTER AND THAT THEY WERE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM BUT WERE UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. GREENVILLE TOYOTA REPRESENTATIVES ADVISED IT WAS A MANUFACTURER'S ISSUE. *AK
CRUISE CONTROL IS EXTREMELY ERRATIC AND IS COMPLETELY UNUSABLE. ITS IS SCARY AND DANGEROUS. I HAVE TRIED TO USE IT ABOUT 5 OR 6 TIMES. ALWAYS A PROBLEM. THIS MAY BE RELATED TO THE ACCELERATION HESITATION AND ENGINE REVVING PROBLEMS PREVIOUSLY REFERENCED. ODI NUMBER 10191074. *AK
WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK I RAN OVER A NAIL THAT PUNCTURED THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR TIRE ,CAUSING IT TO DEFLATE SLOWLY. WHEN THE TIRE WAS COMPLETLY FLAT, AND I NOTICED THE SHAKING AND SLUGGISH HANDLING, I PULLED OVER TO INSPECT. MY TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR DID NOT WORK ,AND DID NOT NOTIFY ME OF THE PROBLEM. AFTER GETTING BACK INTO THE CAR THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR CAME ON, BUT ONLY WHILE PARKED AND WITH A COMPLETLY FLAT TIRE. THE MONEY SPENT ON THIS SAFETY FEATURE, IN MY OPINION, WAS USELESS. *AK
2007 TOYOTA CAMRY LE WITH DISTORTION IN THE WINDSHIELD. *DT THE CONSUMER INFORMED THE DEALER OF THE DISTORTED WINDSHIELD AND THEY STATED THEY WOULD REPLACE IT. WHEN THE CONSUMER RETURNED TO PICK UP HIS VEHICLE HE NOTICED THE SAME DISTORTION. THE REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE DEALER SHOWED THE CONSUMER ANOTHER CAMRY WITH THE SAME DEFECT. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED ALL CAMRY'S WERE MADE THAT WAY AND HE MAY STILL HAVE THAT PROBLEM IF ANOTHER WINDSHIELD WAS ORDERED. *JB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE STARTED SHAKING AND IT CONTINUED TO SHAKE WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THEY COULD NOT DIAGNOSE OR DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS MAKING A TURN AND THE VEHICLE SHUT COMPLETELY OFF. THE DEALER REPAIRED THE BRAKES WHEN THE MOST RECENT FAILURE OCCURRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO OCCUR INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE TRAINED TECHNICIANS AGREED THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 23300.
CAR WITH ONLY 314 MILES. BRAND NEW. EXITED HIGHWAY AND CAME TO A STOP AT END OF CLOVERLEAF. UPON ACCELERATION FORWARD FOR A RIGHT TURN ONTO CROSS STREET THE CAR SURGED TO FULL SPEED CAUSING DRIVER TO MAKE A VERY SHARP (15 FT) RIGHT TURN INTO THE SIDEWALK OF THE OVERPASS BRIDGE. HIGH CURB DESTROYED FRONT END BUT SAVED DRIVERS LIFE FROM CRASHING THROUGH GUARD RAIL AND FALLING TO THE HIGHWAY SURFACE. TOYOTA CLAIMED DRIVER ERROR. DRIVER HAS PERFECT DRIVING RECORD. POLICE REPORT NOTES PROBABLE MECHANICAL FAILURE OF SOME SORT. CAR REPAIRED AND RETURNED TO SERVICE. DRIVER IS NOW FEARFUL TO DRIVE THE $30,000 CAR. CAR WAS A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY. HAS BEEN RECALLED AND REPAIRED, BUT NO CONFIDENCE NOW. SHOULD BE ADDED TO THE DATA BASE. *TR
I BOUGHT 07 CAMRY FROM LOCAL TOYOTA DEALERSHIP IN 2007. FROM THE START I'VE NOTICED THE CAR WAS CONSUMING OIL. THERE IS NO TRACE OF LEAK ANYWHERE BUT WAS TAKING OIL. WITHOUT MUCH THOUGHT, I WOULD ADD OIL AS NEEDED. AS THE MILEAGE START TO RACK UP, THE PROBLEM IS TOO OBVIOUS AND IT IS GETTING WORSE. AT THE BEGINNING, I DID NOT KNOW HOW MUCH OIL WAS BEING CONSUMED. THEN I STARED TO USE TICKER OIL HOPING THE PROBLEM WOULD GO AWAY. IT DID NOT AND I AM STILL USING TICKER OIL (5W20 TO 5W30) OIL CONSUMPTION PROBLEM, I THINK IS PROGRESSIVELY GETTING WORSE. THE CAR NOW HAS 65,000 MILES AND LATE LAST SUMMER (2011) I'VE SEEN OIL ADDING EVERY MONTH (ABOUT EVERY 1,000 MILES). LOCAL DEALER SAID A QUART EVERY 1,000 MILES IS NORMAL. SERVICE MANAGER IS SAYING THAT TOYOTA STATED THE CONSUMING A QUART EVERY 1,000 MILE IS NORMAL. SO GO COMPLAIN TO TOYOTA CORP IS WHAT THEY SAID. I FELT LIKE I WAS TALKING TO A BRICK WALL. DEALERSHIP SAID I SHOULD GO THROUGH OIL CONSUMPTION TEST, WHICH I STATED THE PROCESS IN DECEMBER OF 2011. THEY HAD PUT IN HALF INCH ABOVE THE FULL MARK ON THE DIPSTICK, WHICH I WOULD HAVE THOUGH THEY WOULD HAVE NOTED THIS. AFTER I COME BACK AFTER 1,000 MILES, OIL CONSUMPTION WAS THERE BUT THEY CLAIM 1/2 QUART IN 1,000 MILES. NOT CONSIDERING HOW MUCH THEY HAVE OVER FILLED OR HAD ANY IDEA OF THAT FACT. I STARTED LOOKING INTO THIS IN WEB AND ALSO LEARNED THAT DEALERSHIP USES ADDITIVE TO NOT CONSUME OIL IN CONSUMPTION TESTING. I CANNOT WIN OVER DISHONEST EXPERTS AT THE DEALERSHIP. THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM. I CANNOT SELL THIS CAR AS I AM NOT ABOUT TO LIE ABOUT THE OIL CONSUMPTION TO A BUYER. WHO WOULD WANT TO BUY MY CAR THAT CONSUMES A QUART EVERY 1,000 MILE. I CAN TELL A BUYER "THIS IS NORMAL IN TOYOTA STANDARD"; WOULD A BUYER UNDERSTAND THIS? TOYOTA IS TRYING TO TURN AWAY THEIR PROBLEM ONTO THEIR CUSTOMER. *TR
I DON'T NOT IF THIS IS A POWER TRAIN ISSUE OR NOT, BUT THIS VEHICLE, 2007' CAMRY LE 4 CYLINDER CAN'T SEEM TO KEEP A SET SPEED WHEN IN CRUISE. IT IS CONSTANTLY FIGHTING ITSELF TO MAINTAIN A SPEED SHIFTING DOWN THEN UP SEVERAL TIMES. ALSO, WHEN TAKING OFF OR SLOWING FOR A TURN IT DOESN'T SEEM TO DOWN SHIFT INTO A LOWER GEAR. AND FINALLY WHEN IT DOES SHIFT IT THROWS YOU EVERYWHERE. I AM VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE NEW CAMRY FOR THIS REASON ONLY. I LOVE EVERYTHING ELSE, BUT IF THIS ISN'T FIXED, I THINK THIS IS THE END OF TOYOTA BUYING.*AK
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY. ON MAY 29, 2007, THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE WAS STRUCK FOUR TIMES BY AN EIGHTEEN WHEELER. NONE OF THE SIX AIR BAGS IN THE VEHICLE DEPLOYED. THE CRASH OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH. THE CONTACT WAS A PASSENGER IN THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF THE CRASH. HE AND HIS WIFE WERE AMBULANCED FROM THE SCENE. HE SUSTAINED KNEE INJURIES AND A CONCUSSION AND HIS WIFE SUFFERED NECK INJURIES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THEY ARE BOTH CURRENTLY IN THERAPY DUE TO THE INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE CAN GET THE POLICE REPORT. THE VIN, PURCHASE DATE, AND ENGINE SIZE WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 17,000. UPDATED 08/15/07. *JB
THE BLUISH GREENISH AND GREY LIGHTING ON THE 2007 CAMRY RADIO WAS SO BRIGHT THAT IT WAS DISTRACTING AT NIGHT. IT I WASSO BRIGHT THAT THE PEOPLE IN THE FRONT SEAT WERE ILLUMINATED BY IT, AND HAD TO WORK VERY HARD TO SCAN OUTSIDE THE CAR SINCE IT COMPLETELY RUINED NIGHT VISION. THERE WAS A DIMMER SETTING, BUT IT WAS TIED TO THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS. WHEN DIMMING THE RADIO ONE LOST THE ABILITY TO READ THE GAUGES. I WASVERY CONCERNED THAT THIS WAS A BIG SAFETY ISSUE. WE CALLED THE LOCAL DEALER AND THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT AS WELL AS TOYOTA'S CUSTOMER CARE CENTER. DESPITE THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FROM THE REPRESENTATIVE WITH HER OWN CAMRY THAT IT WAS A VERY BRIGHT LIGHT. TOYOTA WILL NOT WORK WITH US TO CHANGE IT IN ANYWAY, STATING THAT IT WAS A DESIGN ISSUE WITHOUT ENOUGH COMPLAINS. THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED IN SEEKING WAYS TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE. *AK
MY WIFE AND I PURCHASED A 2007 CAMRY LE, 4-CYLINDER, 5-SPEED FROM TOYOTA OF ORANGE IN ORANGE CALIFORNIA. EVER SINCE OUR TEST DRIVE WE'VE EXPERIENCED LACK OF ACCELERATION (HESITATION) FROM A STOP OR AFTER SLOWING DOWN TO TURN OR PROCEED, SHIFTING PROBLEMS (CONSTANT UP AND DOWN SHIFTING AT CERTAIN SPEEDS; CAR NOT SURE WHICH GEAR TO BE IN AND FEELS LIKE THE CAR IS SURGING) AND UNABLE TO USE THE CRUISE CONTROL DUE ACCELERATING TOO QUICKLY DUE TO DOWNSHIFTING AND THEN OVERSHOOTING THE SET SPEED. SOME OF THESE SYMPTOMS ARE SPORADIC; YOU NEVER KNOW IF THE CAR IS GOING TO MOVE OR NOT WHEN STEPPING DOWN HARD AND QUICKLY ON THE GAS PEDAL. SOMETIMES IT "RED-LINES" BEFORE ACCELERATING, OTHER TIMES THERE IS BARELY ANY RESPONSE AT ALL. REPORTED IT TO THE DEALER 3 TIMES, HAD THE SOFTWARE UPDATED WITHOUT NOTICEABLE IMPROVEMENTS. EG036-07 IS THE LATEST ECM UPDATE,. WE WOULD NEVER HAVE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE IF WE HAD ONLY RESEARCHED THE CAR BEFOREHAND ON THE INTERNET. ME AND MY WIFE COULD NEVER GET USED TO THE GAS PEDAL BECAUSE THE CAR RESPONDED DIFFERENTLY EVERY TIME. ONE DAY MY WIFE CAME FROM WORK AND ATTEMPTED TO PARK THE CAR INTO A SPOT ON THE PARKING STRUCTURE,SHE PRESSED THE GAS PEDAL AND THE CAR ACCELERATED REALLY FAST DRIVING THROUGH THE WALL ALMOST INTO THE COMMUNITY POOL. I HAVE STOPPED MAKING PAYMENTS ON THE CAR SINCE THE CAR IS SITTING IN THE GARAGE AND VERY UPSET WITH TOYOTA SINCE I REPORTED THE PROBLEM TO THE DEALER 3 TIMES AND CALLED TOYOTA CORP ON THE PHONE AND RECEIVED NO HELP. *JB
I OWN A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY SE.THE TRANSMISSION LAGS BEHIND THE ENGINE SOMETIMES & THEN DESPERATELY TRIES TO CATCH UP BY AGGRESSIVELY DOWNSHIFTING TO HIGH RPM'S(AROUND 4000 TO 4500).WHEN MAKING TURNS THE CAR LOSES POWER AND THEN SHIFTS ERRATICALLY TO RETURN TO SPEED. WHEN GOING UP A SLIGHT HILL THE PEDAL HAS TO BE PUSHED TO THE FLOOR TO MAKE THE CAR GET UP TO SPEED,AND THEN TAKES OFF LIKE A ROCKET. I AM NOT AN AGGRESSIVE DRIVER BUT THIS POWER TRAIN WANTS YOU TO DRIVE LIKE ONE. I HAD THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALER TWICE WITH NO CORRECTION, ALL THEY SAY IS SORRY THAT'S THE WAY IT IS DESIGNED. I FEEL THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT BOGS DOWN WHEN YOU DON'T WANT IT TO & THEN LURCHES FORWARD TO COMPLICATE MATTERS. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND TOYOTA ENGINEERS DESIGNED & MARKETED A POWER TRAIN THAT IS A POTENTIAL HAZARD TO THE PUBLIC AND THE DRIVERS WHO OWN THESE CARS. *TR
THE CAR HAS BEEN HAVING LOTS OF TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. AT LOW SPEEDS IT SHIFTED BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN GEARS EVEN WHEN MAINTAINING SAME SPEED AND ON FLAT SURFACE. AT ALL SPEEDS IT WILL SOMETIMES PAUSE UPTO 2 SECONDS WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE QUICKLY. IT WILL SOMETIMES SHIFT AND GO AND OTHERS WILL SQUEAL THE TIRES AND POP LIKE IT SHIFTED TWO GEARS AT ONCE. ALSO, IT WILL MAX OUT AT 8 RPMS WHEN ON THE HIGHWAY UNTIL IT FINALLY SHIFTED. *AK
TOOK DELIVERY ON BRAND NEW 2007 CAMRY LE 4 CYLINDER AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH 29 MILES ON 05-02-2007. TWO HOURS LATER FLEW OUT OF TOWN FOR NEARLY A WEEK. CAME BACK AND DROVE CAR FOR ABOUT 100 MILES. PROBLEMS: HESITATED WHEN TURNING THROUGH INTERSECTION THEN LURCHED FORWARD WHEN PUT IN DRIVE AFTER BACKING OUT OF DRIVEWAY. DRIFTEDTO THE LEFT. ALSO, SMELLED BURNING OIL. A CHECK ON INTERNET REVEALED THAT TOYOTA WAS AWARE OF PROBLEMS ON MODEL XLE 6 CYLINDER. NUMEROUS CURRENT COMPLAINTS BY NEW OWNERS. THIS WAS A POTENTIAL SAFETY ISSUE.*AK
I HAVE A 2007 TOYOTA SOLARA SLE. I EXPERIENCED THROTTLE / SHIFT LAG WHEN STARTING OUT FROM A DEAD START.THE TACHOMETER WILL JUMP TO 1500 OR HIGHER RPMS BEFORE THE CAR MOVES. *AK

THE DEALER ACKNOWLEDGED THE FAILURE, BUT WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS MORE PREVALENT WHEN DRIVING UPHILL. THE VIN AND ENGINE SIZE WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 4,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THIS COULD CAUSE A CRASH. TOYOTA STATED THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO CORRECT THE FAILURE. RECALL NUMBER SSC70F FOR THE ALL WEATHER FLOOR MATS WAS REFERENCED. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT MOVE FORWARD WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO ACCELERATE FROM A STOP. THE VEHICLE HAD TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP WHERE THE SHIFTER WAS REPROGRAMMED; HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM CONTINUED. THE DEALER THEN STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BUT BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY, THE CONTACT WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EXPENSES. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO STATED THAT THEY WOULD CALL THE DEALERSHIP AND TRY TO ASSIST WITH A REMEDY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 20,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 116,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY HYBRID. SHE ATTEMPTED TO LOCK THE VEHICLE BUT IT WOULD NOT LOCK. SHE THEN ATTEMPTED TO OPERATE THE VEHICLE BUT IT WOULD NOT START UNTIL AFTER SEVERAL REPEATED ATTEMPTS. SHE SAID THE FAILURE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY WHENEVER THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED NEAR ELECTRICAL TOWERS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN LOW SPEED THE VEHICLE STALLED AND A SERVICE LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE DASHBOARD STATING THAT THE KEY WAS NOT DETECTED. SHE HAD A PASSENGER HOLD THE KEYLESS ENTRY DEVICE NEXT TO THE STEERING COLUMN IN ORDER TO CONTINUE DRIVING THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 500 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 25,000.

THE VEHICLE OPERATED NORMALLY AT SPEEDS GREATER THAN 30 MPH. DURING DECELERATION, THE DOWNSHIFTING PULLS BACK AS IF THE VEHICLE HAD A MANUAL TRANSMISSION. THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN AT THE DEALERS SITE WAS ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM BUT SAID EVERYTHING IS NORMAL. AFTER LOT OF EFFORT FROM MY SIDE TO CONVINCE THE GRAVITY OF THE PROBLEM TO THE DEALER CONSIDERING SEAT BELT AS MOST CRITICAL ELEMENT FOR DRIVERS SAFETY, DEALER AGREED TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I PURCHASED A 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY IN SEPTEMBER 2006. THE VEHICLE HAS 16,000+ MILES ON IT. THE VEHICLE HESITATES UPON ACCELERATION , AND AT TIMES LUNCHES INTO GEAR . THIS HAS CAUSED HONKNING AT US AND HARZARDOUS CONDITIONS, ESPECIALLY WHEN CHANGING LANES ON THE FREEWAY. THERE IS A LOUD INTERMITENT CLUNK WHEN TURNING CORNERS, BACKING UP, AND STOPPING. THERE IS AN APPARENT LACK OF POWER WHEN THE GEARS SHIFTS IN THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. ALSO, THERE IS VIBRATION WHEN BACKING UP WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER ON. WE HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE IN THE DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES AND MOSTLY GET A SONG AND DANCE ROUTINE FROM THE DEALERSHIP. THEY SAID THAT EVERYTHING WE WERE EXPERIENCING WAS NORMAL OR DUE TO THE COMPUTER DESIGN OR EMISSION STANDARDS. THIS IS VERY DIFFICULT TO ACCEPT SINCE I HAVE BEEN DRIVING FOR 50 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE. TOYOTA HAS AT THIS POINT NOT BEEN ABLE TO RESOLVE ANY OF THESE ISSUES. HOWEVER, THEY DID REMOVE AND REPLACE THE GAS TANK TO ELIMINATE THE CLUNKING PROBLEM, AND I NOW KNOW ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP THAT IT WAS NOT NECESSARY. THE CLUNKING IS STILL PRESENT. THIS CAR REACTS LIKE A VEHICLE WITH 200,000 MILES ON IT THAT IS IN DIRE., IT NEEDS F A TUNE UP AND MAJOR OVERHAUL. MY WIFE WAS INVOLVED IN A REAR END ACCIDENT 6 WEEKS AGO, AND NOW WE REALIZE THAT THIS MAY NOT HAVE OCCURRED IF THE CAR WOULD HAVE ACCELERATED PROPERLY. *AK

RE: 2007 TOYOTA CAMRY HYBRID: A ROCK PASSED THROUGH A MANUFACTURED HOLE IN THE GRILL, HIT THE RADIATOR AND PUT A HOLE IN THE RADIATOR CAUSING A HYBRID SYSTEM FAILURE. TOYOTA ASSERTS THAT THIS WAS A OCCURRENCE THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY DESIGN FLAW, GIVEN THAT NO OTHER REPORTS TO THIS EFFECT HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. THE RADIATOR HAD TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF $600. FORTUNATELY, WE WERE JUST MINUTES AWAY FROM A TOYOTA DEALERSHIP AND WERE ABLE TO DRIVE IT OVER. WE HAVE OWNERSHIP OF THE DAMAGED RADIATOR. *JB
I AS PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE, CAR ACCELERATED - JUMPED A CURB, HITTING A TREE AND BROKE MY NOSE,AND DAMAGED THE WHOLE FRONT OF MY CAR.. ON JUNE 27, 2009 I WAS PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE AGAIN, CAMRY ACCELERATED HITTING THE SUV IN FRONT OF MY CAR. TOOK IT IN TO PAULY TOYOTA IN CRYSTAL LAKE, IL AND THEY SENT ME AWAY SAYING THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY 2007 CAMRY. I ALSO HAD TWO VERY NEAR ACCIDENTS, BUT I WAS ABLE TO STOP IN TIME.
