TWO RECALLS WAS MADE MORE THEN 5 WEEKS AGO! BUT INFORMATION ABOUT ONE OF TWO RECALLS DID NOT ADDED!
I WENT TO A TOYOTA DEALER TO GET THE RECALL WORK DONE(DEALER AT 2610 FOREST LANE'DALLAS,TX) THEY NEVER DID THE REPAIR AND GAVE ME A PHONE CALL TRYING TO SELL ME WITH $1000+ OF BOGUS REPAIRS. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR,I HAVE A 21POINT INSPECRTION DONE TWICE A YEAR BY GOOD MECHANICS--EXCEPT THE RED LIGHT UNDER THE RADIO STAYS ON AND SAYS AIRBAG OFF.THE BUTTON TO THE RIGHT OF THIS WOULD SAY AIRBAGS ON BUT IT DOESNT'T WORK. THEY NEVER DID THE THE REPAIR. THIS REPAIR WAS ALSO SOMETHING ABOUT SEATBELT. ALL THEY DID WAS TRY AND SCAM ME FOR $1000.
AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY AFTER HITTING CEMENT GUARDRAIL HEAD ON AFTER HYDROPLANING AT 70MPH. CAR WAS BROUGHT IN TO THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP IN CLERMONT FOR THE RECALL REPAIR FOR THE AIRBAGS ON JUNE 8, 2020.

A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED. THE DRIVER INSTALLED THE SPARE TIRE AND DROVE THE VEHICLE TO HIS RESIDENCE. THE INSURANCE COMPANY THEN TOWED THE VEHICLE TO A COLLISION REPAIR FACILITY. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED FOR THE FAILURE BUT THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT PRIOR TO THE FAILURE, THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED UNDER AN AIR BAG RECALL AT A TOYOTA DEALER LOCATED IN HOT SPRINGS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMANT 74,465.
FOR THE LAST MONTH, MY DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT HAS TAKEN EFFORT TO CLICK ON PLACE. AS OF TODAY, IT WILL NOT CLICK INTO PLACE AT ALL. MY CAR HAS NOT BEEN IN ANY RECENT ACCIDENT.

THE SUBJECT VEHICLES MAY BE EQUIPPED WITH AN ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT (ECU) FROM A SPECIFIC SUPPLIER DESIGNED TO RECEIVE SIGNALS FROM CRASH SENSORS AND DEPLOY THE AIRBAGS AND SEAT BELT PRETENSIONERS. THE ECU MAY NOT HAVE ADEQUATE PROTECTION AGAINST CERTAIN ELECTRICAL NOISE THAT CAN OCCUR IN CERTAIN CRASHES, SUCH AS SEVERE UNDERRIDE CRASHES. THIS CAN LEAD TO INCOMPLETE OR NONDEPLOYMENT OF THE AIRBAGS AND/OR SEAT BELT PRETENSIONERS.

"TAKATA RECALL" VEHICLE AIRBAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY AFTER IMPACT AT 55 MPH IN A 3 VEHICLE PILE UP ON THE FREEWAY. I HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE IN BEFORE FOR PASSENGER AIRBAG RECALL AND REPAIRED. NEITHER ONE DEPLOYED INCLUDING THE SIDE DOORS, PASSENGER AND DRIVER. AS THE RESULTS OF THIS FAILURE, I SUSTAINED INJURIES AFTER THE INITIAL IMPACT.

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH TOYOTA OF HOLLYWOOD, FL AND HAVE LEFT MESSAGES FOR SERVICE ADVISORS WHO DO NOT RETURN CALLS. I RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE TWO MONTHS AGO AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THE ONLY WAY TO GET AN APPOINTMENT IS WITH A SERVICE ADVISOR. DO I HAVE TO TAKE TIME OUT OF MY BUSY SCHEDULE TO DRIVE TO THE DEALER TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
MY WIFE HAD A COLLISION AND MY COROLLA BECAME TOTAL BUT AIRBAG NEVER INFLATE
TAKATA RECALL. STONE MOUNTAIN TOYOTA HAS BEEN EXTREMELY UNRESPONSIVE IN MY EFFORTS TO GET THE TAKATA RECALL ON MY VEHICLE ACCOMPLISHED. MY VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED AT THIS DEALERSHIP AND THEY SEEM TO TRY TO DELAY OR IMPEDE THE PROCESS OF REPLACING THE AFFECTED PART. THEY CLAIM, FROM THE BEGINNING, THAT I MUST LEAVE MY VEHICLE WITH THEM OVERNIGHT TO GET THE WORK DONE. I KNOW THAT THE ACTUAL REPAIR TIME IS 10 MINUTES AND THAT THE DEALER HAS UP TO 1 1/2 HOURS TO DO THE WORK, ALSO, THE FACT THAT I MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE WORK TO BE DONE SO THAT THEY CAN SCHEDULE THE NECESSARY PERSONNEL TO COMPLETE THE WORK SHOULD BE ADEQUATE FOR THEM TO DO THE WORK NEEDED. MY APPOINTMENT WAS MARCH 26, 2018 AT 3:00 PM AND WHEN I ARRIVED THEY INFORMED ME THAT THE CAR HAD TO BE LEFT AT THE DEALERSHIP OVERNIGHT. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE SINCE I NEED THE VEHICLE TO GO TO WORK.
